Obedience to God's Words

Today published in the Philippine Star: "OBEDIENCE TO GOD'S WORDS IS THE RECIPE FOR SPIRITUAL SUCCESS." Dec. 9,2011

What a brazen lie! We Filipinos have always been frightened in school and at home to always obey God's word. Look at the results in this already 21st century: We are so successful but only at being spiritually heartless, morally rudderless, politically aimless, economically mindless, culturally directionless, and historically reckless!

I said it before, I say it again: TO HELL WITH SPIRITUAL STUPIDITY IN THIS ASIA'S ONLY CHRISTIAN COUNTRY since the 16th century. Poch Suzara

God as a Perfect Monster

Please read and understand your bible. In Isaiah 45:7 God said: 'I FORM THE LIGHT AND CREATE DARKNESS: I MAKE PEACE AND CREATE EVIL: I THE LORD DO THESE THINGS." As for me to freely love, freely respect, freely worship, or freely believe such a supernatural Weirdo, nay, such a divine Maniac or such a perfect Monster - NO WAY, JOSE! OVER MY DEAD BODY. Jesus Christ

"COMING TO CHRIST IS NOT MERELY INFORMATIONAL; IT'S TRANSFORMATIONAL." Published in the Philippine Star. Indeed, from the wealthiest and healthiest people in all of Asia before Christianity arrived to colonized the Philippines, we are now the SICK MAN of ASIA in this already 21st century. Thanks to the Son of God Jesus, who is not only informational, but also transformational. It is only after death that we Filipinos look forward to meeting Jesus in heaven. As Jesus, however, promised to return some two thousand years ago, I am about the one and only exceptional Filipino who is looking forward to meeting Jesus in person right here and now. Indeed, I hope and pray that Jesus will soon return. In this way, he can begin to straighten out the mess caused by Christian values and beliefs keeping the Filipinos spiritually poor as a people and the Philippines morally backward as a nation. In the meantime, as Jesus, however, has not only been informational, but also transformational, - what has the results been for us Filipinos in this only Christian country in all of Asia? Hate, fear, ignorance, filth, squalor, poverty, not to mention political mediocrity in cahoots with biblical insanity pretty much characterize our way of life. It is, indeed, not only damnable daily, weekly, and monthly, but also God-damnable yearly! Poch Suzara

I Celebrate Atheism, not Catholicism

Millions of Filipinos celebrate December 25 as the birth of a Jewish Lord, the
Son of God, known as Jesus Christ - born in a foreign land, some 2,000 years ago -
the so-called "Savior of the Filipinos.".

For my part, as an atheist, 365 days of the year - I celebrate daily the pleasures
in life - intellectual growth and philosophical development; the love of learning, happy, expansive, generous, glad when others are happy, not glad when others are not happy.

I celebrate the pursuit of the truth as the unexamined life, indeed, is not worth living. In brief, I celebrate daily the good life - one inspired by love and guided by knowledge. Poch Suzara

Foul and Vulgar Messages Written in the Bible

The foul and vulgar language of Poch Suzara is rather amateurish compared to the foul and vulgar messages written in the holy bible - specially to tickle the ribs of the sick religious saps and jerks on these pages. “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean.” Matthew 23:27 “You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” Matthew 12:3 “You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?” Matthew 23:33 “But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them: “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?” Matthew 3:7 “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” John 8:44 “For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5: "I form the light and create darkness: I make peace and create evil: I the Lord do these things." Is. 45:7 "For it is written, I will bring to nothing the wisdom of the wise, and will to nothing the understanding of the prudent." 1Cor.1:19 "For in much wisdom is much grief, and he increaseth knowledge, increaseth sorrow." Eccl.1:18 "Love not the world, neither the things that ARE in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." 1John 2:15 - Poch Suzara Google# Facebook# Twitter#

Indoctrinated, YES. Educated, NO!

For the sake of argument, let us define "education" not as the painful accumulation of dead facts and useless dates, but as an ennobling intimacy with lives of great men and women of history. Not as the preparation of the individual to "make a living," but as the development of every potential capacity in him for the comprehension, control, and appreciation of this world. Our World. Above all, let us consider education as the technique of transmitting as completely as possible, to as many as possible, that scientific, technological, intellectual, moral, and artistic heritage through which the race forms the growing individual that makes him a decent human being at home with the freedom of thought and sane action.

Under this definition, I must admit, openly or publicly, that if I had finished 6 years of La Salle grade school, 4 years of La Salle high school, and 4 years of college at De la Salle University, I still would consider myself today, not as an "educated Filipino" but only as a faith-soaked "indoctrinated Catholic" - useful to fear God up there by being utterly useless to love of my country down here.

Now, imagine our city councilors, city mayors, governors, congressmen, senators, and President as government officials - the products of Catholic schools, colleges, and universities. With all of them there is more fear of God up there and than there is love of country down here.

Indeed, love of country means the same thing as love of health and sanitation. Love of education. Love of ideas. Love of work. Love of commitment. Love of punctuality. Love of schedule. Love of law and order. And the most vital of all loves - no, not love of a divinity, but simply the love of fellow-citizens for the sake of our love of country. Poch Suzara

Poch - A Sick Filipino

I am told that a Filipino who lives, not by what he loves, but by what he hates, is
a sick Filipino. I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I got expelled out of high school because I loved intelligent thinking. I hated stupid believing. Poch Suzara

What I Want for This Christmas

For this Christmas, I want the poor Filipino families living in the slums ofour major cities struggling to survive under the most inhuman of conditions to relocate and live inside churches, cathedrals, synagogues, temples, and chapels. If we have no heart to love our poor people, then let the Lord and his angels love them instead. In the meantime, I want those slums transformed and properly maintained and no longer used as garbage dumps to serve as emblems of the kind of love we have for our country. TEACHERS AND PROFESSORS For this Christmas, I want school teachers and college professors to bring students in touch with the finest achievements of the human mind. To teach them not WHAT to believe, but HOW to think. To make them appreciate that there is beauty and power in the mind that thinks. That there is more to freedom than just the freedom to enjoy mediocrity. That the individual is not the end and the aim of his own being: outside the individual is his family, his country, and indeed, the future of humanity. SELF-RESPECT AND DIGNITY I want our system of education to work for our self-respect as a people.
I want our system of government to work for our dignity as a nation. In
this way, none of us Filipinos need to kneel down and pray to a God existing inside a Cathedral that never works to begin with! I want all of us to acknowledge the fact that self-respect as a people and dignity as a nation should put us on the path towards the achievement of a higher standard of living and a higher standard of thinking in the Philippines - our country. MORE MEANINGFUL ROLE FOR CONGRESS For this Christmas, I want Congress to make more substantial changes for the Philippines than just change the rules of the game in how to quarrel against each other over nothing. The entire nation has a lot of catching up
to do with the help from science and technology. The RH Bill debate has been going on in Congress for 12 years now. In the meantime, 3 babies are born every minute of the day and night or 1.5 million babies born yearly in the Philippines. Most of these babies are in desperate need to be wanted and loved via nutrition, health, sanitation, and education which the RH bill could help provide, insure, and secure. THE SANITY OF CONTRACEPTION I want to see more social sanity behind contraception, and not the insanity
of unwanted impregnation. What we Filipinos desperately need is not more quantity, but only quality of Filipino life. Perhaps, under population control, like most other advanced Asian nations, we too can celebrate once a year
not the birth of a foreign Lord, but the birth of social justice via the growth
of Filipino intelligence throughout the land. It is silly for divinity to bless the poor, specially those poor in spirit. Theirs is already the kingdom of poverty in this Asia's only Christian country. RESPONSIBLE REPORTING For this Christmas, I want editors and writers of newspapers and magazines to publish more facts and information, and no more confusions, illusions, and delusions. The most noble of profession is the pursuit of the truth. It is, indeed, a great pity that the search of the truth has absolutely nothing to do with the system of information in and for our country. It is, in this way, that we can hardly think that a good society can be transformed into a better society for every one of us to enjoy. In the meantime, faith in a false belief
is the most dangerous element in any situation. Beliefs, especially "sacred" beliefs based upon falsehoods are utterly useless. Such false beliefs destroy the rare opportunity for social change and progress, economic stability, political sanity, and indeed, improvements in our history. FOR CHURCH LEADERS For this Christmas, I want the Cardinals, bishops, priests, nuns, ministers, and the TV evangelists to admit they know nothing about God; they know nothing about life after death; they know not nothing of heaven or of hell; they know nothing about the virtues of adding to social welfare and to human happiness. Indeed, that they only know about the order and harmony in the universe, but they know nothing about the disorder and disharmony created by many kinds of silly religious dogmas, worthless doctrines, and useless sacraments that make for our sick society. FOR THE ARMED FORCES For this Christmas, I want the Philippine Navy, the Philippine Army, and the Philippine Air Force to protect and defend the law-abiding citizens of our Republic. Help instead catch to put in jail the lawmakers who are among the first law-breakers of our poor and backward country. Defend and also protect our rain-forests. What's left of it. 80% of them have already been cut down and exported for profit by corrupt and powerful lawyers as high officials in our government. CHURCH TEACHINGS For this Christmas, I want those burdened with guilt of the original sin to realize that they are wasting their time on this earth. The original sin is neither original nor a sin. Not even if it were committed by Adam and Eve, who originated nothing in the first place. How can any of us be guilty of anything original if there were, first and foremost, an original creator? BORN-AGAIN CHRISTIANS For this Christmas, I want the born-again Christians to realize completely that wisdom is functional, not biblical. Everybody, when he is born, fresh out of the uterus, is an atheist. No baby has any religion. Of course, as soon as infants are born, snatched out of the mother’s womb, adults begin to indoctrinate them. But all babies are atheists: free from religion, free from religious beliefs. No baby is born as a Muslim, or a Jew, a Baptist, a Catholic, or a Hindu. They are all born free and then indoctrinated. When they attain the age of intellectual maturity and they repudiate that indoctrination, they become in the real sense of the word: - “Born-Again Atheists.” They go back to the purity of their beginning, before any of these dreadful theistic beliefs was put into their receptively indiscriminating, little, and malleable minds. SEARCHING THE SCRIPTURES For this Christmas, I want bible readers to admit one historical fact – for two thousand years in the world and 400 years in the Philippines, the truth has been defined not by reason, but by searching for it in the ancient Scriptures. Meanwhile, the revealed truth has yet to be revealed. No doubt, if all the answers to Filipino problems were found in the holy bible, if it had been the most excellent book for moral or spiritual guidance, then by this time, surely, it should have already straightened the mess out of our sick society that’s keeping us Filipinos famous as the Sick Man of Asia. All the problems of government and the ways to develop our local integrity and ways to cultivate our national growth and maturity are silent in the bible. Indeed, love, passion, and compassion are mostly derived from our sense of humanity. Never from divinity. Never from deviltry. FOR A FREE PHILIPPINES For this Christmas, I want the Philippines to be free – free from infantile pursuits, free from fear of the unknown, free from corruption, and free from biblical threats. I want every man, woman, and child – the citizens of our country – to live under the joys of a higher standard of living and thinking. Indeed, to enjoy the good life – one inspired by love and guided by knowledge. I want the Filipino to have faith – faith in himself, faith in his country, and finally, to have faith in this life, the only life we have on this earth. This will do for this Christmas. For next Christmas, I may want more, much more for my MERRY CHRISTMAS!

If I Ruled the World

Here is a sane, nay, a beautiful song that God himself together with his devil would be so embarrassed to sing loud and clear with much gusto, pride, and glory in public or in private, especially in the Philippines.

IF I RULED THE WORLD

If I ruled the world, ev'ry day would be the first day of spring
Every heart would have a new song to sing
And we'd sing of the joy every morning would bring

If I ruled the world, ev'ry man would be as free as a bird,
Ev'ry voice would be a voice to be heard
Take my word we would treasure each day that occurred

My world would be a beautiful place
Where we would weave such wonderful dreams
My world would wear a smile on its face
Like the man in the moon has when the moon beams
If I ruled the world every man would say the world was his friend
There'd be happiness that no man coud end
No my friend, not if I ruled the world
Every head would be held up high
There'd be sunshine in everyone's sky
If the day ever dawned when I ruled the world.

If only it works

I said it before, I say it again: if only we have a system of education that works for our self-respect as a people, and if only we have a system of government that works for our dignity as a nation - none of us Filipinos need to run to God inside a Cathedral that never works to begin with.

Imagine God existing inside a Cathedral. It has been found that during all these past centuries a Cathedral is nothing but a monument to human stupidity. Poch Suzara

Pain

"Sometimes, pain comes for a reason. Face it and then let it go." Gina Lopez

On the contrary, we must not ignore the opportunity to examine pain and its sources whether psychological, emotional, or physical. In this way, we might discover how to make pain much less of a painful experience for others.

This has nothing to do with love for a cruel divinity. It has only more to do with love, passion, and compassion for humanity. Poch Suzara

Stolen Wealth of the Philippines

Overpopulation means that the number of people in a society surpasses the economic basis for providing them with adequate food, ample clothing, decent housing, quality school facilities¸ meaningful employment, and creative leisure. Of course a men of blind faith do not see the beauty of these earthly goods. They can only believe what other men of blind faith have been frightened into them to believe. Especially when they were little boys and girls in school, that: - God has and will always provide for the Philippines.

If it is true that the Philippines has no overpopulation problem and that our problem of vast poverty is really due to unequal distribution of wealth as provided by God, I ask: when will the Vatican bank begin to return and distribute to poor Filipinos the trillions of dollars stolen by Catholic church doing big business in the Philippines – the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16 century?

Global Worming

Far more harmful than global warming is "global worming"- millions of frightened people groveling like sick worms before nonexistent deities. For my part, I was in La Salle grade school when I already began to realize that we must all be really sick to grant Christianity too much honor and respect but too little critical examination that would give us Filipinos as sense of self-respect as a people and dignity as a nation. In the meantime, there once was a time when every man, woman, and child in this world believed and had faith in God and the church ruled. Historians refer to this time as the "Dark Ages." It lasted for a thousand years. From 5th to the 15th century. In the Philippines, thanks to our sick system of education, the majority of us Filipinos believe not in the power of thought, believe not in the power of learning to make us the healthiest and the wealthiest people of Asia. No, we believe instead in the power of a divinity, like a Jewish Son of God Jesus, or believe in the power of the Old Testament and the New Testament to remedy the historical ills of our sick country. Thus, in this already 21st century, instead of growing and developing with reason behind Rizalism, we only have the same faith in silly Catholicism. Luckily, I was expelled out of school. It saved me from being another sick victim otherwise more known as the SICK MAN OF ASIA. Poch Suzara

I am saying it again today as an old man: FUCK THE INSPIRED AUTHORS OF GOD WHO WROTE ABOUT SATAN N THE HOLY BIBLE. FUCK SATAN! Poch Suzara

Intelligent Unbelief

The trouble in our world comes mostly from religious morons who are ready and willing to fight for their stupid belief; only the few are courageous enough to fight for their intelligent unbelief. For my part, I am most happy and proud that I managed, somehow, down through the years, to dumped all of the stupid beliefs I acquired during my formative years in grade school - down the garbage bin.

I am asked: what is the difference between a stupid believer and an intelligent thinker. The stupid believer enjoys believing more than he does thinking. The intelligent thinker enjoys thinking more than he does believing. Poch Suzara

On Thanksgiving Day

On Thanksgiving Day, I thank guys like you for making me more famous. Thank you for the publicity. I am proud of you for making more and more people listen to what I have been saying all along - the truth can never remain forever submerged. Sooner or later - the TRUTH will emerge. Please keep it up. Thanks to you more and more people are beginning to realize that I am making a lot of sense not only as man, not only as a Filipino, not only as an American, not only as a Spaniard, not only as a La Salle high-school expelled student, but more so, indeed, as an unbeliever of the faith - as an atheist. No doubt, the truth hurts; especially to the frightened saps and indeed, to the religious morons like you are as a college educated jerk. For my part, I love the truth. The truth is a shinning goddess, always veiled, always distant, never wholly approachable, but worthy of pursuit as a lifetime adventure. Poch Suzara

WHAT I LOVE AND WHAT I HATE

With every drop of my blood I hate religion. I detest lies and deception. I reject superstition. I abhor every form of slavery. I oppose falsity, laugh at mediocrity, and I wage war against any school, college, or university that support biblical mendacity, political stupidity, economic perversity, moral bankruptcy, and social insanity.

I love the search of the truth - spirit of free inquiry; especially as it inspires the power of the mind and heart to enhance the beauty of liberty spreading the values of freedom and democracy.

The freedom of religion is malicious; however, far more precious is the freedom away from religion. It is all about the freedom of the mind. There is nothing quite like it in all of nature. Without freedom of the mind all else is shallow, vague, and banal.

These loves and hates will do for today. Tomorrow I may want to love more; and day after tomorrow I may want to hate more. It all depends on how effective we all are in promoting human intelligence down here by rejecting divine malevolence from up there. Poch Suzara

Bertrand Russel - a God to me

As a little boy in school, my priest-confessor often told that I am not a perfect being. I should therefore always kneel down and ask God for the forgiveness of my defects. Indeed, that eventual obliteration will be a better situation than my need to seek reconstruction. Bertrand Russell arrived into my life after I was lucky enough to have been expelled out of La Salle high school. He said: “No one is perfect and we should never be bothered by the fact that we are not perfect.” Russell also taught me to question everything including his own ideas and values. He wrote: "It is preoccupation with possessions, more than anything else, that prevents men from living freely and nobly." These words have not ceased to stir my mind and heart to this day. If there were ever a thinker I have learned to love and respect – such a thinker was Bertrand Russell. Indeed, Russell saved not my stupid soul; he saved, instead, my intelligent mind. Much to my happiness, it was Bertrand Russell who introduced me to love and respect as well our own great thinker - Jose Rizal. None of my teachers in school taught me to see how great a Filipino humanist/scientists was our own Dr. Jose Rizal Oh Bertrand Russell, whenever you are - thank you for teaching me intellectual courage to face the horrors in nature. And thank you as well for making me realize that our world is infested with religious insanity and political stupidity; and that life is not worth living unless we struggle by declaring war to defeat such horrors - horrors that's keeping our world poor spiritually, backward morally, and fucked economically Poch Suzara

Delusion in Cahoots with Confusion

To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. And the virgin’s name was Mary. Luke 1:27

Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh. Rom. 1:3

Jesus, the son of Joseph which was the son of Heli. Luke 33:23

And Jacob begat Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus. Matt. 1:6

Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6

While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice out of the cloud said, "This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!" Matt. 17:5

The beloved son declares: "If any man come to me and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." Luke 14:26

In view of the above biblical complication, is it really that hard to see why as the only Christian country in Asia, we Filipinos are so proud of our delusion as a people and even more so proud of our confusion as a nation? Poch Suzara

System of Learning

Our system of education does not encourage human benevolence; on the contrary, it stultifies the potential for human intelligence. Education is suppose to promote, not demote the power of the human mind; indeed, it is suppose to nourish, not malnourished the beauty of the human heart.

In the Philippines, thanks to our so-called system of learning - we are mainly taught how to be faithful and proud as the Sick Man of Asia. It is, in this way, that we must hold nothing but contempt for those others who have the fearless capacity to think. Indeed, contempt for those others who question what has always been taken for granted in this poor and backward country of ours. Poch Suzara

Medulla Oblongata

The bible says: "Do not be carried about with divers and strange doctrines." Heb. 13:9.

Indeed, be on the look out for Catholic dogma, Presbyterian pigma, and Lutheran hogma, or be the victim of a holy stigma. They are out to severely damage your Medulla Oblongata. Poch Suzara

Sick Man and Sick Woman of Asia

In school, we were taught more about the laws of God than we were inspired to discover the laws of nature and the laws of our land. Indeed, in class, to learn how to be faithful religiously for the rest of our lives. We were taught to mind not how to be well-informed citizens of our country. How to be creative or productive for our growth as a people and for our maturity as a nation.

We hardly had science. The learning of the scientific way of thinking was never encouraged in us during grade school, high school, and in college. Only the learning of more religion based on theology which is the study of the unknowable, if not the pursuit of the mystery. It is no wonder that in the Philippines, as college educated men and women we are all good; unfortunately for our country and its future, all good for nothing.

In the meantime, as the Sick Man and Sick Woman of Asia, life in general in the Philippines can be characterized as the competition to be the criminal or be the victims of the criminal. To think we are products of La Salle, Ateneo, San Beda, Letran, UST, Assumption college, Miriam college, University of the Philippines, The Asian institute of Management, etc. etc.

But as Filipinos, why should we care? It has been emphasized during our so-called "education" that we need not love our country, neither to love the natural resources that are in our country. If any Filipino loves his country, the love of God is not in Him. After all, we were all frightened to believe and to have faith that there is a better country to come after death with God in heaven.

I said it before, I say it again: We are not the intelligent masters of education. We are the stupid victims of lies and deception otherwise less known as the "system of indoctrination." Poch Suzara

Sick Holy Bible

I said it before, I say it again: If only readers were more conversant with the sick contents of the sick bible, written by sick authors as inspired by a sick God, you would think of me as a piker, an amateur, a tyro at using so-called "vulgar," "dirty," "gutter," or "sick" language in any debate on the subject of the holy shit otherwise more known as the "Revealed Truth of God in the Holy Bible." The trouble with you sick religious morons is that you never bother to seriously read and study your sick bible. By the way, there are some 57 different versions of the bible sold in bookstores today. In my personal library of books I only have the Catholic bible, Duane, Good New Bible, and the bible edited by pastor Eddie Villanueva of Jesus is Lord Movement in the Philippines... The Gods of Great Thinkers

Here's the GOD of Mar Patalinjug:

Time and time again, I have characterized this biblical "God" as vicious, malicious, ferocious, vain, vainglorious, vengeful, hateful, murderous, cantankerous, and utterly devoid of what we human beings know as love and compassion. The bible verses you quote in this Post confirm what I personally think of this biblical "God."

Here's the GOD of Richard Dawkins:

“The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.”

Here's the GOD of Poch Suzara:

All, but all of my silly teachers in La Salle grade school and La Salle high school were all a GOD to me. If I disagreed with any of them on any subject - they threatened me with either being thrown out of class or suspended for several days out of school premises. Gradually, in the end, happily, luckily, fortunately - I was finally expelled out of first year high school.

Jesus as BIG BUSINESS

The religious, bible bobos, scared fatheads, and the frightened wimps as among the kind of victims that make organized religion such a lucrative business in this country keeping it poor and backward.

Indeed, Brother Mike Velarde of El Shaddai; Brother Eddie Villanueva of Jesus is Lord Movement; and Eli Soriano of Dating Daan, to name a few, are among the very wealthy religious businessmen today in our sick society. Imagine these amateur pikers among the few rich and the famous operating the business of selling Jesus only in decades! Then compare the wealth, power, and glory of the Catholic church and Iglesia Ni Cristo operating the bigger business of selling eternal salvation for centuries in this poor and backward country.

For my part, I only have to think of my parents, grandparents great grandparents, uncles, aunties, nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, my children, my children, grandchildren, wife, friends, classmates, and schoolmates - all as the poor victims of religion. Seldom the masters of courageous thoughts. It makes the blood inside my brain get hot to a scandalous temperature. Poch Suzara

Praying and Hallucinating

When you talk to God, it's called PRAYING. When God talks to you, it's called HALLUCINATING! The last time I talked to God and God talked to me was when I was 14 years old! Neither of us made any sense to each other at all. It was also the last time God and I ever heard from each other ever again! After which, I stopped bothering God and God also stopped bothering me. It has been a happy and a dignified arrangement - God stopped believing in me and I stopped believing in God. It is what I think of my stand as a decent human being gifted with self-respect and dignity and indeed, with intellectual courage to value not my "free will" but my "good will."! Poch Suzara

Kill the Church

Human intelligence will eventually kill the Church of all Religions. After all, religion has been based on nothing but self-imposed mendacity - plain and simple. Indeed, the same religion that encourages mediocrity to have faith in the perpetual horror known as stupidity that generates social insanity. Poch Suzara

Letters Written years Ago

NY,NY, 08 Nov 2011 Dear Helen: Pocholo Suzara is one Filipino who uses his Cognitive Powers as they should be used - logically and rationally. As a Filipino intellectual of the First Degree, he is a rara avis. He is more of a rara avis because he is not afraid of the naked, the brutal and the unvarnished TRUTH. Poch Suzara has earned his rightful place among the world's Great Thinkers. Mar Patalinjug My Dear Mar, Thank you for your great thoughts about me. Please rest assured that I have just began the fight. I am already 74 years old. I have a few years, perhaps a few months, or who knows a few days to live on this earth. But I will do my best to deliver the promise I made to myself when I was 14 years old - expelled out of La Salle high school: In the years ahead, I promised I will somehow play a role, a part, no matter how puny, or how insignificant in the ambitious task of bringing down the evil monster that's keeping us Filipinos spiritually poor as a people and morally frightened as a nation - the evil monster otherwise more known as Christianity in the Philippines. Established here since the 16th century. Indeed, it is not enough to rock the Christian boat in the Philippines. It is time that we sink it permanently out of its existence. Let us give our children and children's children a fighting chance to learn how to live the good life - one inspired by love of this world and guided by knowledge of this world. In this way, like the few of us today, they too will have found a purpose to leave this world one day a better place than we found it. Cheers! We All Live in a Fucking World

When a man is sexually aroused, he gets an erection. The blood in his brain goes to his sexual organ. The same thing happens to his woman also sexually aroused - the blood in her brain goes to her vagina ready to be invaginated. In other words, replenishing the earth or propagating the human race – can only be accomplished by mindless fathers and thoughtless mothers enjoying sexual embrace devoid of intellectual profundity. We are all the masters as well as the victims of this biological complexity. Preposterous as it is. To think that we are all the result of mindless mating between mom and dad. We are all born not only wet, crying, hungry, bloodied, and uncircumcised, but also born like the way the animals are born - dirty and maladorous? But then again we are told that God gifted babies with a free will during birth. As if babies could be free to choose not to be born at all or to choose one's gender to be born a boy or a girl. Indeed, free will is a religious hogwash! Happy birthday greetings is based not on truth. No one is born happy. In fact, we are born like the animals are born ignorant which has nothing to do with happiness! In the meantime, the human world population today at 7 BILLION people is proof enough that we humans all live in a FUCKING world. Indeed, we hardly live in a THINKING world. It is, in this way, that we are destroying ourselves as humans - thoughtless and reckless as we are. We are destroying the only home we have in this world - the Planet Earth! Poch Suzara

The Real Atheists

There are one billion silly atheists in this world today. They are known as the "Christians" who do not believe in the existence of "Allah" the God of the Muslims.

There are also another kind of silly atheists in this world today. The 1 billion Muslims do not believe in the existence of the God of the Christians known as GOD.

As with me, I am the REAL kind of an atheist. I do not believe in the existence of ALLAH, the God of the Muslims. I also do not believe in the existence of the God of the Christian.

Life on this earth is so short, so brief, so fleeting, I find it utterly silly to believe in the existence of such silly GODS. Poch Suzara

All Great Religions

The great religions of the world have ALL been based on one great evil only: Loving a God up there for the sake of hating one another down here.

As for me, I thank all the great religions of the world, as much as I thank God, if any, responsible for the existence of such great but otherwise stupid religions that I WAS BORN AN ATHEIST AND I SHALL DIE AN ATHEIST. Poch Suzara

The Bible Declares:

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God." (2 Timothy 3:16)
"As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless...." (2 Samuel 22:31)
"And the words of the LORD are flawless...." (Psalm 12:6)
"As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless...." (Psalm 18:30)
"Every word of God is flawless...." (Proverbs 30:5)

For my part, I am happy and proud to also declare that I became an atheist because of the holy lies declared in the holy bible. Poch Suzara

The Power of Silly Prayer

Nov. 3, 2011
Philippine Daily Inquirer
Letter to the Editors
Dear Sirs:
To believe in the power of prayer is like believing that God up there will alter His Divine Plans formulated centuries ago to conform to our needs in this 21st century down here.

Again, saying prayers is equivalent to believing that the Philippines is governed by a Supreme Being who changes his mind if we Filipinos ask him in our prayer to do so.

Since Christianity arrived some 400 years ago - I have yet to see how exactly prayers have transformed our country into one of the most developed and advanced country of Asia? But here's what is even more ticklish: We are told that if we want to solve our problems as a people or solve our troubles as a nation - we must only pray. Now if nothing happens, we must only pray harder. And if nothing still happens, it is only because we do not know how to pray!

In the meantime, our children in school are taught how to pray. It is the best way to teach them how to seek fantasy solutions to real problems. But then again, if God were all-knowing, why should he be bothered with daily prayers? The encouragement of prayer promotes selfishness. People pray for that for which they have not labored or thought. Prayer also undermines the power of human intelligence. Prayer causes a weakening of self-reliance and a corresponding deterioration of character. In fact, daily prayers are among the most effective causes that keep us Filipinos poor spiritually, backward morally, impoverished economically, insane politically, not to mention empty historically.

The question I asked decades ago, I still am asking today: Is there hope for our country? Yes, with intelligent leaders? Never with stupid prayers! Poch Suzara

The Bible Thrown Out the Window

There is absolutely no information in the Bible that we can make any use of as we goes through life. The Bible is not a book of knowledge. It does not give instruction in any of the sciences. It furnishes no help to labor. It is useless as a political guide. There is nothing in it that gives the mechanic any hint, or affords the farmer any enlightenment in his occupation.

If a Filipino wishes to learn about the earth or the heavens; about life or the animal kingdom, he has no need to study the Bible. If he is desirous of reading the best poetry or the most entertaining literature he will not find it in the Bible. If he wants to read to store his mind with facts, the Bible is the last book for him to open, for never yet was a volume written that contained fewer facts than this book. If he is anxious to get some information that will help him earn an honest living he does not want to spend his time reading Genesis, Exodus, Numbers, Kings, Psalms, or the Gospels. If he wants to read just for the fun of reading, to kill time, or to see how much nonsensical writing there is in one book, let him read the Bible.

I have said it before - there are not wise sayings in the Bible, or a few dramatic incidents, but there are just as wise sayings, and wiser ones, too, out of the book, and there are dramas of human life that surpass in interest anything contained in the Old or New Testament.

No person can make a decent excuse for reading the Bible more than once. To do such a thing would be a foolish waste of time. But my vehement objection to reading this book is, not that it contains nothing particularly good, but that it contains so much that is garbage for one's intellectual life. To read this book is to get false ideas, absurd ideas, bad ideas. The injury to the human mind that reads the Bible as a reliable book is beyond repair. I do not think that this book should be read by children, by any any Filipino less than twenty years of age, and it would be better for the Philippines if not a Pinoy or a Pinay read a line of it until he or she was fifty years old.

What I want to say is this, that there is nothing in the Bible that is of the least consequence to the people of this already 21st century. English literature is richer a thousand fold than this so- called sacred volume. We have books of more information and of more inspiration than the Bible. As the relic of a barbarous and superstitious people, it should have a place in our libraries, but it is not a work of any value to this age. I pity Filipinos who stand in pulpits and call this book the word of God. I wish they had brains enough to earn their living without having to repeat these lies and deceptions. The day will come when this book will be estimated for what it is worth, and when that day comes, the Bible will no longer be called the word of God, but the work of ignorant, superstitious men.

In the meantime, a great scientist/writer Isaac Asimov fearlessly
stated: "Properly read the bible is the most potent force for ATHEISM ever invented by man." Poch Suzara

Bertrand Russell and the Truth

So why not reject and discard your COMPUTER machine? Throw it out the window. Atheist Bertrand Russell was one of the FATHERS of the COMPUTER INDUSTRY. It is embarrassing, isn't it, when I criticize Jesus in his own silly bible, I know exactly what I am talking about. I quote to you evidences as written in the bible. With you followers of Jesus, all you can say about Bertrand Russell is that he was unhappily married 4 times. But you never are able to point out to me how Bertrand Russell as a mathematician, as a logician, and as a philosopher wrote books filled with inconsistencies, absurdities, obscenities, atrocities, lies, contradictions, and deceptions. If you study the writings of Bertrand Russell, you will realize that if had made mistakes, where he was wrong, he spoiled the fun by pointing out the errors himself. In spite of all the logical and philosophical advances for which Russell is responsible of, and in spite of all the dark places which he has made plain, one is tempted to say a greater thinker would be somebody finding fundamental fault in his work. In fact, any subsequent philosopher worth his salt has to begin where he left off because, simply, it is impossible to be satisfied with things as Russell has left them. Listen to what Bertrand Russell wrote: "Without the capacity for mental solitude, none of the supreme achievements of human genius would have been possible." For my part, as a student of Bertrand Russell ever since I was expelled out of high school 60 years ago, I am fully aware that he was a man with a passionate hatred of folly and cruelty. But he also gave to others, to students like me, the courage, hope, and heart in the fight against such horrors. Thus, I would rather be busy studying, reading, writing, and learning as a thoughtful man without a wife than be busy with a wife at home or with tutie-fruties outside the home. In the meantime, indeed, we all spend our lives looking for the things we have missed during our childhood years. With me at home and in school - the truth. Poch Suzara

Pope Pius Poch Suzara

According to Catholic doctrines any layman can become the Pope. That is why I still have hope. Wait till I become the Pope. The first thing I will do is to dismantle
the VATICAN BANK and distribute the TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS deposited in that bank to
the 1 BILLION poor CATHOLICS in all Catholic countries - specially in this only Catholic country in all of Asia - the Philippines - the poorest among the poor Catholics anywhere in this world. Pope Pius Poch Suzara

Bertrand Russell and Jesus

It is ironic that Russell himself did not live a happy life. From all accounts, Russell lived a turbulent, bleak and joyless existence. Russell went through 4 failed marriages. Poch, is this the kind of person that you would idolize like a god? Ben Rivera Yes Bertrand Russell was married 4 times with 4 different women. He also had countless sexual affairs with women outside marriage, What about your Sweet Jesus? He was never with a woman. He was always hanging around with 12 men and washing their feet too. Is that the kind of wimp you love, worship, and adore as a god? Poch Suzara

God the mass murderer!

* 1 Chronicles 21:1-14 - god kills 70000 people. Why? David decided to take a census
(I guess only god is allowed to do that). * Numbers 16:35-49 - god kills 15000 people. Why? They were angry about an earlier incident where god killed 250 people who were burning incense without permission. * Numbers 25:1-9 - god kills 24000 people. Why? They were whoring around. * Judges 1:4, 3:28-29 - god kills 10000 Canaanites, Perizzites, and 10000 Moabites. Why? Just because, that's why. * Isaiah 37:1-36 - god kills 185000 Assyrians. Why? Their king and his men mocked god. * 1 Samuel 6:19 - god kills 50000 people. Why? They looked into the Ark of the Covenant. I can't even pretend to understand this one. * Amos 5:1-3 - god threatens to kill 90% of all Israelites when the tribe abandon him. Poch Suzara

Communism, Capitalism, and Catholicism

Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." Matt. 21:19 Well, in the Philippines, the only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century, we Filipinos, as faithful followers of Christ, sold our possessions to the rich. We are now the poor. In the meantime, the richest, most powerful economy in the world today is organized religion in general; the Catholic church in particular. At any rate, I take my hat off to the Chinese leaders of China. They are thinkers. They are not afraid to think. Decades ago, Chinese leaders asked: WHAT IF WE MERGE COMMUNISM WITH CAPITALISM? They did! Look at China today. Far more than having billionaires as individuals, the whole of China is a billionaire as a nation today. In the Philippines, in this already 21st century, we Filipinos are still arguing back and forth whether as followers of Christ we should continue to maintain our religious insanity together with political stupidity so that we will have more opportunities to please divinity; After all, we continue to believe in the promises of Christianity - such as that there is a better world to come after death for us poor Filipinos to enjoy eternal prosperity! Come on my dear readers - WAKE UP! Must we remain spiritually fucked one this earth as we will also be spiritually fucked as a people later after death with Jesus and his angels in heaven?? Death with Nancy

Nancy,

Please read your bible. See Eccl. 9:5 "The dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward for the memory of them is forgotten."

Nancy, I ask: After death, and our bodies and brains begin to rot - with what eyes shall we see, with what ears shall we hear, with what nose shall we smell, with what palate shall we taste, with what skin shall we feel, and with what brain shall we think?

Here is more for your thought: The day we are born is the day we begin to live in
a dying body.

Really Nancy, the most we should have is the courage to face what Bertrand Russell realistically put into thinking words: IF WE MUST DIE, LET US DIE SOBER, AND NOT DRUNK WITH LIES. Poch Suzara

Religion and War

Religion is big business. War is big business. As a matter of historical fact both religion and war have always been in cahoots together in the business of making money. Religion makes big profit selling salvation to the frightened. War makes big profit selling ammunition also to the frightened. Both the religion industry and the war industry are behind, if not the owners of schools, colleges, and universities. In the USA it is more popularly known as the Military-Industrial-University Complex,

For my part, I am proud to be against war: people killing people. I am a conscientious objector. I am also an atheist. I do not believe in the God of any religion. I do not care for divinity. I am only always on the side of humanity,

No doubt, religion makes men good; unfortunately, good for nothing. In the meantime, religion, like war, has nothing to do with life after birth. Only much
to do with life after death. As if there is any.

Indeed, after death, with what eyes shall we see? With what ears shall we hear? with what nose shall we smell? With what palate shall we taste? With what skin shall we feel? With what dead and decaying brain shall we be able to think?

In the ultimate analysis, both religion and war have always been the most successful and most profitable in the world of big business. The promises of
life after death sells like hot cake inside churches and cathedrals; and, in
the battlefield! Poch Suzara

Lost Marbles

I am told by the religious morons who are all thoughtlessly shocked at my thoughts to provoke your thoughts - that I have lost all my marbles. What I find amusing, however, is to see them gathering up, praying over, and then offering my lost marbles to God for the salvation of their own silly souls. Poch Suzara

Sick Man of Asia

Oh yes, I may be one Sick Man of Asia. However, I would rather be sick with my intellectual curiosity. No way, should I allow myself to be sick with stupid faith
in pontifical insanity.

Indeed, I would rather be sick with my intelligent questions than be sick with the stupid answers to questions that I was not even encouraged to ask during my formative
in La Salle grade school. Poch Suzara

Great Success of the Catholic Church

The fact that we Filipinos are the most sinful as a people, and ours is the most corrupt as a nation is proof enough that the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH is not a dismal failure; on the contrary - a great pontifical SUCCESS in the Philippines.

And to think that millions of Filipino Catholic sinners down here are waiting for the Second Coming of Jesus who was himself never baptized as a Catholic for the glory of a Catholic God in a Catholic heaven up there! Poch Suzara

Catholic Charity in the Philippines

After more than 2,000 years of Catholic charity, it would be great if you, my dear reader, could explain how, where, and when Catholic Charity has ever eliminated poverty out of any Catholic country in the world - like the Philippines - the only Catholic country in all of Asia since the 16th century. Indeed, how come we Filipinos, the only people in all of Asia who love and adore Jesus as the Son of God and yet, we poor Filipinos, the majority of us, recipients of Catholic charity daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly - continue only to be getting poorer as a people, not getting any richer even as a nation; and even more ticklish, we continue to endlessly suffer poverty of the worst kind - the poverty of the mind and heart? Indeed, SMILE, God loves the Filipinos in the Philippines, but He needs MONEY!. . . Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

How Do We Fight Catholicism

How do we fight Catholicism? How do we get it expunged out of our country? I say by exposing its lies and deceptions. The religious horrors that's been keeping us Filipino spiritually sick as a people and morally corrupt as a nation. A good place to start is inside our schools, colleges, and universities. Our system of education should have nothing to do whatsoever with Catholicism - the killer not only of our Jose Rizal, but also the killer of Filipinos minds and the killer of Filipino hearts. With God and With Men

With God everything is possible. With men, however, especially great men who had the courage and the power to put beauty into this world where nature has put only horror, such great men have, indeed, transformed our world into what is not only possible, but also something sensible and reliable. Silly Holy Bible

Dear Blanca, You believe in a book WRITTEN by INSPIRED authors of God that has talking animals, wizards, witches, demons, mediums, spiritists, flying chariots, sticks turning into snakes, food falling from the sky, people walking on water, people resurrecting from death, a mother eats her own son, camels wearing necklaces, a man without father nor mother, a man who has 30 sons, rode on 30 donkeys and controlled 30 cities, laughter a foolish thing, characters living over 900 years, bread cooked in cow dung, drinking one's urine and dung, and all sorts of magical, absurd and primitive stories. And you have the gall to tell me that since I am an atheist, I really need spiritual guidance from the Holy Spirit so that I may understand properly and accept seriously the Revealed Truth in the Old and in the New Testament as written by inspired authors of God? Poch Suzara

Spiritually Sick Man of Asia

The clearest definition of insanity or what it means to be the spiritually SICK MAN OF ASIA is found in the Holy Bible: "If any man come to me and hate not his father, his mother, his wife, his children, his brethren, his sisters, and yea his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:26 Look how in our sick system of basic education we are taught first and foremost how to love the Lord Jesus up there by hating one another down here! Poch Suzara

Philippines Still in the Dark Age

Once there was a time when every man, woman, and child in this world believed in God and the church ruled. Historians refer to this time as the Dark Ages. It lasted for a thousand years - from the 5th to the 15th century. It is, however, still on going in the Philippines. The beliefs and values taught during the Dark Ages are still taught today in our schools, colleges, and universities. Look at corruption as a way of daily life in the Philippines. Why not? After all, there is always a kind, loving, merciful, and all-powerful God up there who can, at any time, forgive us of our sins and crimes and corruption down here! look at our corrupt government officials always taking advantage of such forgiveness of sin and crime by a "higher power" more known as "God" with his great ability to forgive sins and crimes. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Filipinos in Heaven with Jesus

"About that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?” Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them. Then he said,“I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven." Matt 18:1-3 Notice in the bible Jesus did not bother to explain where or which galaxies is the Kingdom of God located. A galaxy contains an average of 400 million stars and planets. And there are billions of such galaxies existing out there. More to the point, after death, by what mode of transportation does the soul embark on in order to travel to heaven? In the meantime, isn't it rather ticklish: Everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die! Poch Suzara

The Real Atheist

There are 1,000,000,000 (billion Catholics. According to the Muslims the Catholics are al atheists as they do not believe in the existence of ALLAH - the God of Islam.

There are also 1,000,000,00 (Billion) Muslims. According to the Catholics the Muslims are all atheists as they do not believe in the existence of the God of Christianity.

As with me, I am the real ATHEIST. I do not believe, nay, I do not care to believe in the existence of either God of Christianity or Allah of Islam; or any other God for that matter.

Indeed, I have no religion; especially as religion encourages individual stupidity, promotes social insanity, and fosters hate for humanity - globally! Poch Suzara

On Being Courageous and Truthful

"In a world of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." George Orwell If I may add, in the Philippines, if you were an avid reader - one who lives in a library of books; and one who is truthful and courageous in exposing the lies and deceptions that's keeping our country historically sick, spiritually poor, and morally backward - you are branded as one who is a failure, a loser, an insane atheist, and a worthless bum, indeed, you are nothing but a La Salle high school Expelled student. Open Letter to my Countrymen

Open Letter to my Country-men The only kind of salvation we need is the salvation away from lies and deceptions. They are otherwise more known as divine revelation. In this already 21st century we should begin to re-educate to revitalize ourselves as nation. It is time to dump ignorance as a religion out of our basic system of education. Religion has been and still is the curse and the cause of our troubles and problems as Filipinos. Life after birth should never be big business for schools, colleges, and universities; and, indeed, life after death should also never be a bigger business for the priesthood industry in our country. The truth hurts; but lies and deceptions are far more damaging. They can last for a thousand years. Take a good look at our formative years in school: It is where corruption comes from. Look at the way we Filipinos have been frightened to believe and to have faith in "God is love." That our sins or crimes are readily forgivable by God. Moreover, that God so love the Philippines in that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have life everlasting. I ask: If God so love the Philippines, how come after 400 years as the only "God is love" country in all of Asia, our country is still full of suffering, corruption, disease, disaster, poverty, pain, political degradations. and indeed - full of lies and deceptions? Nay, how come our schools, colleges, and universities continue to teach that the causes that make for our sick society are mainly due to our sick "free will." Well, if this were true, how come our system of education has utterly failed to remedy the situation? A Good Will is more functional and reliable than "free will." In the meantime, a Jewish savior born 2,000 years ago in a foreign land known as Jesus is far more admired, more loved, more respected by millions of Filipinos than our own Jose Rizal - a Filipino savior right here in our own country born less than 200 years ago. Listen to the words of - Jose Rizal: "I would like the Filipino to be Brilliant, Enlightened, Intelligent, and Progressive." Now listen to Jesus. He warned: "If any man come to me and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethern, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." Luke 14:26. Jesus also declared: "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them for me. Luke 19:27 We Filipinos, via a functional system of education, can surely learn how to discover, explore, and exploit the tremendous wealth of our own natural resources. The greatest of which is the Filipino mind and heart! I ask: Have we ever heard of a foreign country where its people achieved a higher standard of living, and a higher standard of thinking not by hard working, not by hard thinking, but only by easy praying? especially to give us this day our "daily bread" and to "lead us not into temptation?" Life is either a daring adventure or a frightened situation. I said it before, I say it again: those who live in fear of death live in fear of life. Surely, nature will kill us all one day on this earth. The least, however, we can do is to face death not by kneeling down to an authority, but by standing up with self-respect and dignity. There is nothing more ennobling than to live the good life - one inspired by love of fellow citizens and guided by the power of science and technology enhancing the welfare of our own country under freedom and democracy. Let us look deep at those who are spiritually malnourished; and let us look deeper at our morally impoverished nation. Then let us conclude that our self-imposed maladies are mostly due to, if not the result of - the sick bible and its sick teachings. Indeed, look at us Filipinos in this already 21st century. We still believe that human life is a defect, and that we need not bother with reconstruction. We must only seek obliteration. It is, in this way, that the religious traders or bible brokers are selling what millions of Filipinos are buying: - Jesus! In the meantime, there is nothing more pathetic in our history than the hopeless resignation of our women to the outrages she has been taught to believe are declared to be ordained by Jesus. Who speaks for the Philippines? We, the Filipino atheists, speak for the Philippines! As atheists we love not divinity up there; we only love our country down here. We atheists speak for the Philippines. Poch Suzara

The Fool Saith in His Heart

"The fool saith in his heart, There is no God. But the bigger fools, in fact millions of them saith there is a God. They are guided not by a spiritual, but by a commercial enterprise known as the priesthood industry - the real owners of schools, colleges, and universities in the Philippines. Those who play no daily part of this evils are called atheist, freethinkers, heretics, agnostics, infidels, and social outcasts. The priesthood industry sees to it that such "lost souls" are damned forever in hell. The fool saith that there is no religion. But more fools, in fact millions of them saith that there is the religion of God. Live each day - Steve Jobs

“When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: ‘If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you’ll most certainly be right.’ It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: ‘If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?’ And whenever the answer has been ‘No’ for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.” — Steve Jobs This is what I mean when I say let us try and leave this world a better place than we found it. Imagine Steve Jobs, an "educated" product of, say, De la Salle University. He was taught to love not this world, but to believe and to have faith only that there is a better world come after death. Therefore we need not improve or change anything around us. We must only learn to pray to: "St. John Baptist De La Salle pray for us. Leave Jesus in our hearts forever." Or, learn only to pray daily to God to "give us this day our daily bread and lead us not into temptation." Or, learn to pray only to Mary, Mother of God, to "pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, amen. Steve Jobs, an atheist, was one great example of what atheism is all about on this earth. He left this world a better place than he found it. Indeed, Steve Jobs was a great man. He had the courage to create beauty into this world where religion has only put horror. Indeed, to cover up the lies of religion is the business of cowards. The business of great men is to see them with inflexible clarity while thinking honestly, working nobly, and changing things around us sensibly, especially as a friend of science and technology. And in the degree in which we can all be great - this is the business of each one of us. Poch Suzara

The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus?

MATTHEW 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. MARK 13:30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. LUKE 21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. 1THESSA 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the triumph of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Now could any of you college-educated Catholic bible scholars tell me which of these inspired authors of God is revealing the truth as to when exactly Jesus is coming? After more than 2,000 years of waiting - time has already elapsed! Poch Suzara

Jesus Omni-absent in the Beginning

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

What a declaration of original lies on top of biblical deceptions. Indeed, it is not true that God so loved the world, and that he gave his only begotten Son to save the world. Otherwise, if it were true, God and His son Jesus could have already straightened out first the needless mess with Adam and Eve deceived by Satan in the shape of the Talking Serpent in the Garden of Eden to begin with?

Indeed, to Satan we attribute every cruelty, crime and evil, but nowhere do we find a Satan more Satanic as God - the original creator in the Old Testament. Poch Suzara

King Midas, King Moron, Democracy

King Midas turned to gold EVERYTHING he touched. As a result, with nothing
but GOLD around him - he starved to death.

King Moron had nothing but FAITH in God for the people of his kingdom. As a result, King Moron transformed his kingdom into a cathedral - the tallest and grandest of monuments honoring nothing except human stupidity.

In the meantime, ONLY IN THE PHILIPPINES - if our politicians in the government
were not corrupt, selfish, greedy, stupid, and insane - they are able, at least,
to easily get on their knees to pray to God together; but never, however, are they also able to act for our growth as a people and for our development as a nation all
together.

Oh yes, indeed, democracy in the Philippines has little to do with the power of
ideas and ideals. It has more to do with defending our silly beliefs and protecting our obsolete values down here especially for the sake of nourishing the power of the Almighty Divinity up there. Poch Suzara

Philippine Biggest Crocs

Published today Oct. 4, 2011 in the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Letters to the Editor:

When will they catch biggest crocs

It is a miracle, isn't it? We could easily catch the biggest crocodile living poorly in our jungles; but we have yet to capture and put in jail the biggest crocodiles living luxuriously as government officials in our impoverished country. Poch Suzara

Sex Tours in the Philippines

We are all felt insulted by the US Ambassador Harry K. Thomas Jr for publicly saying
that "40% of foreign male tourists visit the Philippines just for sex."

This is, indeed, an ugly truth and the truth hurts. Well, if we Filipinos continue
hurting as a people, it is mainly because in the Philippines - the only Christian country in Asia - the "truth" especially the "revealed truth" goes marching on!

I am willing to bet my last bottom dollar that if, Ambassador Harry K. Thomas had instead declared that "40 % of the foreign tourists visit the Philippines just to pray to Mary, mother of God, to pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our
death - we would all immediately start a mass movement to get US Ambassador Harry K. Thomas be canonized an American saint even before he hits the bucket. Poch Suzara

The Republic of Mediocrity

In the Republic of Mediocrity, the man of thought is one who is considered to be a failure, a loser, a lost soul, a nuisance, or a Talking Serpent. I am most proud to be known as one such a man of thought; especially as I do habitually enjoy provoking my thoughts and those of others. The mark of a poorly educated man is that he hates lively analysis. He loves only the monotony of deadly paralysis. Sadly, however, in the Republic of Mediocrity, fucking is always more active than thinking. The power of thought is seldom stimulating. Hardly inspiring. In fact, thinking is something frightening. Indeed, we must only get busy fucking; never mind thinking. God will punish any one to everlasting fire who would rather be doing lots of thinking! In the meantime, I said it before, I say it again: Let us, with all the allegiance we can muster to become: a citizen of the Republic of Scholarship. In this Republic, every citizen has a constitutional right to get himself as thoroughly lost as he pleases; especially via the spirit of inquiry. Poch Suzara

Human Life is Precious

"Every one of us is precious in the cosmic perspective. If a human disagrees with you, let him live. In a hundred billion galaxies, you will not find another." Carl Sagan. Oh Carl, I have no problem with any one who disagree with me. It is those lovable scoundrels, thieves, swindlers, liars, cheaters, deceivers, believers, and sick politicians in government always in cahoots with sick theologians of the church that I wish all dead and buried. No, I would kill them myself; but I should be most happy to read about them in the Obituary. Poch Suzara

The Greatest Failures in Life

The greatest failures in life are those who live with the right answers to wrong questions. The greatest success, however, are those who question everything as the answers, with few exceptions, in time, become obsolete. Only the few have the courage to question what has always been taken for granted. The many, always living in fear, question nothing. Indeed, they hate the power of thought. What they love is faith. Faith has the power to make people feel timid comfortably, if not feel lazy conveniently. In the Philippines, however, faith has been and still is quite a success. Faith is the engine that generates the failure of our values that promotes the success in what makes us the Sick Man of Asia. . . Poch Suzara

FREEDOM IN THE PHILIPPINES

We may enjoy anytime, anywhere in our sick society the FREEDOM of corruption, deceptions, degradation, perversion, confusion, illusion, extortion, temptation, falsification, imitation, erection, sensation, devotion, pollution, delusion, fornication, ill-sanitation, not to mention the circus-like freedom of investigation in aid for legislation... Never, however, must we ever enjoy the FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION; especially if you have discovered something truthful to share. The truth hurts. In the Philippines, however, the truth as revealed in the bible hurts even more! Therefore, if we expose the revealed Truth in the bible - we shall only be thought of as "atheist." "failure," a "loser," "a homosexual," a "lost soul," or one not "blessed by God" For my part, already known to be a failure, a loser, a lost soul, and an atheist, etc. - never do I dream of winning more new title attached to my name. But I feel proud when I am told that I am the "appointed Son" of the Talking Serpent. Wow, what an "honor." Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Fuicking Truth Against Thinking Truth

The Thinking truth is all about the search of the truth. The fucking truth is all about the TRUTH in the bible known as the "Revealed Truth" that has yet to
be REVEALED.

When Pontius Pilate asked: WHAT IS TRUTH - who amongst the inspired writers of God including the million of readers of the bible KNOW the answer?

Now you asked me what is truth to me? Well, among other things, simply this: SCIENCE takes you on a flight to the moon to prove the truth of TECHNOLOGY. RELIGION takes you on a flight to destroy buildings to prove the truth of THEOLOGY.

See what I mean about the FUCKING TRUTH against the THINKING TRUTH? Poch Suzara

Religion - the ORGANIZED marketing of fear

Blessed are the poor ( donate heavily ).
Blessed are the meek ( obey faithfully ).
Blessed are the humble ( don’t question authority ).
Blessed are the hungry ( make us rich until it hurts spiritually ).
Blessed are the merciful ( if you catch us fucking choir boys, let it go ).
Blessed are the pure of heart ( because your brains are switched off ).
Blessed are the timid, the cowardly, the fearful.
Blessed are those who give us their power and become our slaves.
Indeed, Blessed are the fucking truth, fuck the thinking truth.

Self-Discovery

There is a treasure existing that's far more precious than happiness. It is the discovery of one's inner self. Indeed, the thoughtless life is not worth living for man. It is not what you are or where you are that matters. It is how you are able to enjoy the power of thought that counts. Poch Suzara

My Beloved Teacher

After I was expelled out of La Salle high school some 60 years ago, I enrolled in the greatest of all universities - a collection of books. I decided to go on for life on an endless self-study course. I only had one teacher that I could love and respect - Bertrand Russell. With much joy and pleasure Russell taught me how, in life, I should aim high, so that if I missed, I won't be far below.

Well, my teacher Russell never knew it, but I already aimed that in this life, I will play a part in bringing down and out of my country - the evils known as Christianity. In this way, in case I missed, I could also play a lesser part in abolishing what keeps Christianity in complete control of the Filipino minds and hearts - schools, colleges, and universities in the Philippines. System of Education in the Philippines

It is mainly due to the power of education, especially during formative years in
grade school that inspires millions of Pinoys and Pinays to readily believe as true the childish claims of the religious leaders of our sick society. Such characters known as the Catholic bishops; Bro. Mike Velarde of El Shaddai; Bro, Eli Soriano of Dating Daan; Bro. Eddie Manalo of Tamang Daan; Bro. Eddie Villanueva of Jesus is Lord Movement; and the new face in the religious circus today keeping the Philippines spiritually poor and morally backward - Fr. Fernando Suarez and his Healing Rosary Money-making business.

Indeed, religion encourages human stupidity that culminates into social insanity.
And to think that we are all already born ignorant, not stupid. We are made stupid via our schools, colleges, and universities under the strict supervision of Christianity in the Philippines.

For with me, personally, to the end of my days in this world, I shall continue to brag with self-respect and dignity that I was expelled out of such commercial and/or religious enterprises otherwise more popularly known as the "system of education in the Philippines." Poch Suzara

Which is Better

Which is better: to become what we THINK, or, to become what we BELIEVE? Here is a hint for you: Any child during formative years in school can be frightened to BELIEVE in a lot of nonsense. Do you know that millions of college-educated Filipinos today believe that the sun rises in the morning and sets in the evening as something true and real and not actually just an illusion? Indeed, these are the same millions of college-educated Filipinos who believe that God exist and will provide for them for as long they believe and have faith. I asked it before, I ask it again: God will provide such college-educated Filipinos with What? Poch Suzara

Faith in Human Stupidity

We Filipinos have been taught to believe that: a man of faith is more likely to be successful, loved, and respected in society than if he is a man of reason. So our college educated men and women including our corrupt politicians in government and our corrupt bishops in church take advantage of this mess by being even more faithful than how Catholic schools, colleges, and universities have twisted, distorted, indeed, molded them to be. In the Philippines, have we never heard of a faithful Filipino who got to be FILTHY RICH while believing that God is BAD? And yet, right before our eyes, we see millions of Filipinos are FILTHY POOR while they have faith in a God is GOOD. Poch Suzara

Evils of Christianity in the Philippines

When the foreigners arrived here in the 16th century, we had the land, and they had the bible. Today in the 21st century, we Filipinos still have the bible and the foreigners own not only most of our land, but are also the owners of schools, colleges, and universities in the Philippines. Not to mention the media. Such commercial enterprises continue to teach us Filipinos to be proud of our Christian faith. Especially for as long as we do not bother to read what’s precisely written n the bible. A book written not by Filipinos but written by foreigners – the Jews – the “elect,” God’s “chosen people.” My dear reader, I ask: have you ever wondered why we Filipinos feel so proud and lucky to be employed by foreigners right here in our own country? If not feel even more proud and luckier to be employed in foreign countries? In the meantime, a great number of poverty-stricken jobless Filipinos nevertheless feel so blessed by God as the bible declares: “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land." Also, "For in much wisdom is much grief; and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow." Or even more socially disastrous, the bible warns - "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge." On the contrary, when one allows one kind of fear to dominate him, he soon comes to be dominated by other kinds of fear also. Listen to our own Jose Rizal - arrested, jailed, and publicly executed for writing two book that shook the foundation of Christianity in the Philippines. He stressed the worth of the Filipino. He emphasized the fact that human dignity is a person’s worth, that which makes him stand above all other creatures. In his exchange of ideas on human rights and freedom with Fr. Pablo Pastells, Rizal said: “ Man’s dignity is precious to him. He carries within him a feeling of importance, a regard for his value and worth. When man ceases to value his dignity as a human being, he ceases to be a man. He forgets that nothing, indeed, is more excellent than humanity. . . Deprive a man of his dignity, and you not only deprive him of his moral stamina, but you also render him useless even to those who want to make use of him. . . Man in his self-respect; take it away from him and he becomes a corpse.” There is, indeed, something feeble, if not despicable, about a Filipino who cannot live his life unless sustained by the belief in deadly superstitions. Such as - one need not bother with poverty, disease, and population growth because God will provide. Or, that "blessed are those who are poor in spirit. They shall inherit the kingdom of God in heaven." It is time for us Filipinos to be receptive to the values of science and scientific way of thinking, and technology. Such values should help us extricate ourselves out of poverty by generating our intellectual growth as a people, and development as a civilized and a matured nation. It is also time to realize that we have been educated to only be amenable to more of the same blind faith in the Christian way of life. It has, indeed, turned out to be our worst enemy: faith kills the mind before other diseases kill the body. Faith is just another sacred word we have been taught to employ to justify a lazy mentality, rationalize our lack of creativity, if not to maintain and to support the ways of our sick society. So deeply rooted in the teachings of Christianity. The test of a true religion, however, has nothing to do with a holy book, or how Old or New are its Testaments. It has nothing to do with prayer rally part 1, 2, and 3. It has nothing to do with bombastic preaching delivered by real estate brokers devouring financial offerings from blind and ignorant Jesus followers. It has nothing to do with a pie in the sky or an ally in the sky. On the contrary, a true religion should generate human love and compassion in the here and now that binds the human family together in this precious life. Indeed, a true religion does not inspire stupidity or insecurity; neither does it encourage running away from the problems of human society. A true religion knows full well that the truth hurts, but knows even more that lies and deceptions are far more damaging and can last for a thousand years. As for me, an atheist, what have I to offer fellow-Filipinos in this biblically sick country of ours. Only one thing creative as it is constructive: I offer you the courage to take back what was stolen away from you during school days - the most priceless treasure in the world – your precious mind and precious hearts as Filipinos! In this way, we need no longer waste our time loving a foreign God up out there, and wasting even more time by hating one another down here! Indeed, our need to remedy the ills of our sick society is not only intellectual revolution, but the evolution of our precious minds and hearts to learn to become proud Filipinos. To be proud of our women. To be proud of our children. to be proud of our government. Indeed, to be proud of the one and only country we were all born into - the Philippines! The aim of Christian education in the Philippines has always been about the pursuit of learning for the "Greater Glory of God." Here, however, is how the bible describes God and the glory of his temper and his tantrum: "I will sweep away everything in all your land," says the LORD. "I will sweep away both people and animals alike. Even the birds of the air and the fish in the sea will die. I will reduce the wicked to heaps of rubble, along with the rest of humanity," says the LORD. "I will crush Judah and Jerusalem with my fist and destroy every last trace of their Baal worship. I will put an end to all the idolatrous priests, so that even the memory of them will disappear. For they go up to their roofs and bow to the sun, moon, and stars. They claim to follow the LORD, but then they worship Molech, too. So now I will destroy them! And I will destroy those who used to worship me but now no longer do. They no longer ask for the LORD's guidance or seek my blessings." (Zephaniah 1:2-6) Today, throughout the Christian world, except in the Philippines - Christianity is tearing itself apart externally as it is collapsing internally. Today, throughout the Christian world, except in the Philippines, priestly authority and priestly respect exist no more or have been sensibly diminished. Today, throughout the Christian world, except in the Philippines, the superstructure of ecclesiastical privilege is tottering. Its fall is inevitable as its foundation has largely been based upon sacred lies and holy deceptions. It is time to educate ourselves to establish right here on our land a sane and a healthy society. It is time we promote in our country nothing but the beauty of common Filipino decency. It is also time to read properly and thoroughly the bible. In this way, as we begin to learn and understand just exactly how destructive bible messages have been and still are - we can begin to rock the Christian boat and courageously sink it. Poch Suzara

So-called Educated Pinoys and Pinays

To go against the dominant standard of thinking of friends, associates, relatives,
or most of the people you see daily is not only a sign of spiritual growth but also
a show of intellectual development.

In the meantime, millions of our youth in schools, colleges, and universities have their minds twisted and hearts distorted by being frightened to believe in a lot of religious nonsense. So much so that these millions of so-called "educated" Pinoys and Pinays are among the first to readily give credence to the fantastic promises made on Television by Bro. Mike Velarde of el Shaddai, Bro. Eli Soriano of Datning Daan, Bro. Eddie Villanueva of Jesus is Lord Movement, the evangelists of Iglesia Ni Cristo daily on TV, the religious morons behind the 700 Club of the Philippines. Not to mention the Catholic bishops virtually running the show in Congress endlessly deliberating on the HR Bill. Poch Suzara

Two Separate Laws in the Philippines

There are two separate laws in the Philippines: the law of God and the law of man. Filipino lawyers believe that the law of man should be under the law of God. And to think that these brilliant lawyers have been highly trained in law school to be experts in the art of cross examination.

In the meantime, the power of prayer is a reality even among top lawyers in the Philippines. Inside Law office - prominently displayed on top of law bookshelves
or shinning on art tables are the statues of baby Jesus, Mama Mary, Crucified Christ, Mama Mary carrying Baby Jesus. Not to mention photo of Jose Rizal with a scapular around his neck and a holy rosary around his wrists.

Well, I say, let's be more specific: In the Philippines, Filipino lawyers are the Sick lawyers of Asia! Instead of defending our growth as a people and development as a nation enjoying love, beauty, knowledge and the joys in life, they would rather defend, for money, or for the glory of a divinity - corruption, lies, and deceptions so prevalent in our sick country. On the Future

Of the many horrors transpiring daily in our schools, colleges, and universities the most harmful is the teaching that the future is something that happens to us, not something that we can create.

Imagine how much more powerful education could be if we are daily told in class that the life we conceive as a people is the life we can achieve as a nation.

God has absolutely nothing to do with it. To begin with God is never omni-present. God is only always omni-absent. Poch Suzara

Trees Created by God

The billions of trees created by God on this earth are still existing today. All sorts of trees – big and small, tall and short, colorful and colorless, fruitful and fruitless. Unfortunately, according to Genesis, in the Garden of Eden, God planted only one kind of tree called the “Tree of Knowledge.” Before any one, however, could partake of its power, to acquire knowledge and wisdom from that tree, indeed to develop the human mind and to cultivate the human heart – for no reason at all - the tree vanished into thin air. No such tree exists anywhere on this earth. Imagine if the tree of Knowledge was uprooted and transplanted via Noah's Ark to the Philippines to teach the Filipino growth with knowledge as a people and development with wisdom as a nation. We would have no need of stupid theologians and no need of stupid politicians to keep us spiritually fucked as a people and to keep us morally fucked as a nation. At any rate, such is the Wisdom of God according to the sick primitives more known as the inspired authors of God in the bible. Poch Suzara Facebook# Twitter# Google#

Miss Universe Contest

It is really all about the same old recycled garbage. Thanks to our system of education, we Filipinos continue to get excited over the contest of beauty queens
of the losers and the failures.

Via our schools, colleges, and universities we have yet to learn how to get equally excited over the development of the beauty of our own natural resources - the most beautiful and most powerful of which is the Filipino brain. Poch Suzara

The tree of Knowledge

According to the bible, Satan wanted us to eat from the tree of knowledge, but God wanted us to stay Ignorant?

For my part, I ask: How did it matter either way? Forget God. Forget Satan. For Christ's sake, even the Catholic theologians haven't the foggiest where in hell is that tree existing! Poch Suzara

Is there Hope for the Philippines

Let us look at ourselves as Filipinos not as the masters of intelligent education, but only as the victims of malevolent indoctrination. Year in and year out millions of us Filipinos are on the same rudderless boat together. Our officials in the government just as directionless. They keep our country poor and backward. Especially to please the Catholic church - the owner of schools, colleges, and universities. Indeed, the religious enemy that sees to it that we must never learn to build tools that will help us build our minds as a people and hearts as a nation able to explore our own natural resources, especially the most powerful of natural resources - the human brain - the only way our country could achieve a higher standard of living via a higher standard of thinking. Is there is hope for the Philippines to extricate itself out of its historical quagmire? Yes, there is. It must first defeat its greatest enemy simply known as "Christianity" in general, the "Catholic church" in particular. Via ownership of schools, colleges, and universities in the Philippines, they are places where we Filipinos learn to believe that life after death is far more precious than life after birth. Indeed, that there is a better world to come later. That the only things of true value are those found in the heavenly world of God. That our world, this world of Filipinos and nature and the flesh should be seen as low, depraved and worthless. Therefore of little importance to those of us with more faith in God. That this natural world is but a stopover on our journey to the next world. Therefore, the less attention placed on it and the more attention placed on God's kingdom - we can all look forward to our eternal salvation. In the meantime, the Catholic Vatican bank on this earth is far richer than the US Federal Reserve bank of America. I said it before, I say it again: With love in our hearts for this life, in this world, our world, let us stand on our own two feet, accept responsibility for our actions, and solve our own problems without needlessly confusing the issues with meaningless words, or with destructive Catholic teachings such as "love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of God is not in him." 1John 2:25 I am an atheist and listen to my atheist teacher - Bertrand Russell: "What the world needs now is not only love, but also the greater knowledge about the nature of love, in all it complexity." Indeed, "The good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge." Poch Suzara

Painful Truth

Dear Consuelo, As a matter of historical fact, the painful truth is that our schools, colleges, and universities are still pretty much in the business of lies and deceptions. Such horror is keeping us Filipinos poor as a people and backward as a nation. Look how millions of our college-educated men and women are eager and prepared to migrate and be "employees" in foreign countries. More than 18,000,000 (million) Filipinos are now living and working in some 168 countries around the world. They are there in foreign countries enjoying not only a higher standard of living, but also a higher standard of thinking. A lot of them branded as "undocumented aliens" in such countries. But these overseas Filipinos are able to remit an average of some $10 Billion dollars yearly to keep afloat the Philippine economy. In the meantime, our government officials continue only to declare to the world that the Philippines is open for business to foreign investors! Indeed, open to take advantage of the business of corruption in our country. Whatever happened to the power of thought as basic in any system of education? Indeed, why is stupid believing far more important in our country than intelligent thinking? And why is faith in life after death far more precious than faith in life after birth in our country. When Catholicism arrived in our land in the 16th century, it had its bible. We had the land. Today, in the 21st century, we Filipinos have the bible, while Catholicism owns not only our land, but also is the owner of some 1,000 schools, colleges, and universities established throughout the Philippines. Oh Consuelo - as a product of La Salle education myself, I refuse to believe that we Filipinos need six years of grade school, four years of high school, and another four more years of college just to be able to learn how to pray and to love God up there while we are also being taught to hate one another down here! So much so that we even learned to hate to work for the growth and development of our own country - the country of our birth. Poch Suzara

Read Your Multiplication Table

Have any of you ever heard of the different versions of the MULTIPLICATION TABLE sold in bookstore? Indeed, the MULTIPLICATION TABLE is the perfect model of truth. It is precise, certain, and free from contradictions, inconsistencies, and absurdities.

In the meantime, there are some 57 different versions of the holy bible sold in bookstores today.

Well, think of it: The MULTIPLICATION TABLE was never formulated by inspired authors of God. So how come God could not inspire his bible authors to be just as precise, if not just as consistent and rational as the truthful authors of the MULTIPLICATION TABLE? Poch Suzara

Praying

Sept. 9,2011 Philippine Daily Inquirer Letter to the Editors Dear Sirs: After 4 centuries of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly prayers to God to "give us this day our daily bread," and to "lead us not into temptation," and prayers to Mary, Mother of God, to "pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death," how come the results have been nothing but only for us to keep on praying for more of the same old nothing? Praying is like rocking a chair. It inspires us to do something. But how come prayers have not, as yet, gotten us anywhere? We remain directionless as a people and rudderless as a nation? Indeed, in this already 21st century, we Filipinos are only getting more famous as the Sick Man of Asia! In the meantime, when you talk to God or to Mary, the Mother of God it is called "praying." When God, or Mary, the Mother of God talks to you God talks to us, it is known as "hallucinating?" Poch Suzara

Jesus in our Insane World

We live in such an insane world that God had to offer his only begotten son to write not a sane book but only to get Himself crucified on a piece of wood. This, in order to straighten the mess out of our insane world. Well, that was more than 2,000 years ago and our world, especially in this only JESUS IS LOVE AND LOVE IS JESUS country in all of Asia has actually been getting more insane as ever, if not worst! But there is more to this fantastic "I SHALL RETURN" biblical promise: Millions of Pinoys and Pinays with college education from such Catholic universities like La Salle, Ateneo, San Beda, Letran, UST, Assumption college, Miriam college, AIM, and also the University of the Philippines are all waiting for the arrival of Jesus to establish peace and prosperity in the Philippines - the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century. Catholicism, Capitalism, and Criminalism

Catholicism and Capitalism survived profitably together during these past centuries not because either have been successful in selling the truth; on the contrary, both have been dealing with nothing but lies, deceptions, and indeed, corruption. The
victims of Catholicism are called the "faithful" "obedient" or "devout." The victims of Capitalism are called the "customers" "clients" "employees" or "laborers."

Countries victimized by Catholicism or by Capitalism or by both remain poor and backward. Look at the Philippines. Still stuck as a nation not only with
Catholicism, not only with Capitalism, but also with criminalism.

We are even proud to address our rich and powerful criminals in the government as "Your Honor." Those rich and powerful criminals behind the Church, we address them as "Your Holiness."

Indeed, life in general in the Philippines can be characterized as the competition to be the criminal or be the victim of the criminals. This, while daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly - we all feel blessed by God. Poch Suzara

Comment

Right on Poch! You have a darnd good point here! All these "Your Honor" and "Your Holiness" is total crap when applied here! And to think that we truly honor these people and bow and salute them everywhere! It would be so funny if it wasn't so sad

The Bible - Throw it Out the Window

You believe in a book that has talking animals, wizards, witches, demons, sticks turning into snakes, food falling from the sky, people walking on water, dead people raised back to life, and all sorts of magical, absurd, and primitive stories, and you are asking me to explain why there is something wrong with me as I say that the bible is a book that is best thrown out the window?

Sir, to label atheism as a psychological problem is a feeble, indeed, a laughable attempt to evade the real issue of truth versus falsehoods. Are your beliefs true? What reasons have you people to believe in the existence of God? Your dismal attempts to defeat my atheism by evading the power of thought reveals only one shameless thing: your contempt for man's ability to think! Poch Suzara

is nothing but tired energy that nature thoughtlessly makes it believe that energy has found the time to rest. There is no such luck anywhere in the universe. Poch Suzara

Stupidity same as Infinity

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe." Albert Einstein If I may add, isn't it sad that our schools, colleges, and universities in the Philippines, for the most part, have been mostly about how to learn to have faith in human stupidity; specially for the sake of embracing, protecting, and defending Christianity otherwise more mysteriously known as the Holy Trinity.
