I Never Lied to Any of You

"If a man would follow, today, the teachings of the Old Testament, he would be a criminal. If he would follow strictly the teachings of the New, he would be insane." - Robert Ingersoll Another word for "insane" is THE SICK MAN OF ASIA - the frightened men and women - products of schools, colleges, and universities own and operated by the Catholic church in the Philippines. Such frightened men and women are more horrified by harmless "vulgar language" than they should be more terrified by harmful "vulgar beliefs and vulgar values" keeping us Filipinos intellectually poor and spiritually sick as a people; not to mention morally sick and economically bankrupt as a nation. Consider in this already 21st century. We Filipinos are still taught to believe that among the countries of Asia, the Philippines has been and still is the one and only country in Asia that's lucky enough to have been always BLESSED WITH CHRISTIAN VALUES AND BELIEFS by God and his angels from heaven through Christ our Lord down here on earth. May I however, say, with all due truthfulness, that the damage I have done in this forum by my foal and vulgar language is so puny, so petty as compared to the historical damage done to Filipino minds and hearts since the 16th century by the wealth, power, and glory of Christianity in the Philippines! Indeed, the truth hurts, but lies are far more damaging and can last for a thousand years. One thing I should get credit for in this forum - I never lied to any of you!Poch Suzara

We Love only Jesus

In the Philippines, as the only Christian country in Asia since 400 years ago, who cares about following traffic rules and regulations or the laws of our land? We follow only JESUS; especially for the sake of our ETERNAL SALVATION after we are all religiously fucked to death right here in our own country for the glory of Jesus in heaven! Poch Suzara

Animals Native in the Philippines

I have all the respect, trust and admiration, for all of the animals native in the Philippines. None of them can be accused of sin, crime, or corruption. Indeed, these animals are all very lucky. They have never had a need to enroll in any of our schools, colleges, and universities. Poch Suzara

Why I do not Follow Jesus

In the News Testament, Jesus said: "Follow me!" But I declined. I rather not. I would rather follow a man of self-respect and dignity. A character like Jesus who tells me: "believe and be saved, believe not and be damned," is a person not worth following, not worth emulating, not worth believing! Poch Suzara

I am a happy and a proud Atheist

To be moral, according to Jesus, I must shackle my reason. I must force myself to believe and have faith in what I cannot understand. I must suppress, in the name of morality, any doubts that surface in my mind. I must regard as a mark of excellence an unwillingness to subject religious beliefs to critical analysis. Less doubts, less criticism leads to more faith – and faith, Jesus declares, is the hallmark of virtue. Indeed, “unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matt. 18:3. Children, after all, are always gullible enough believe even in the existence of Santa Claus. As an atheist, - I am a man of self-esteem. I therefore cannot quality to be a candidate for the master-slave relationship that Christianity offers me. A man lacking in self-esteem, a man ridden with guilt, will frequently prefer the apparent security of Christianity over independence and find comfort in the thought that, for the price of total submissiveness, God will love and protect and reward him especially after death in heaven eternally. Indeed, I am a happy and a proud atheist. I have no need to pay a dear price for that deadly religious way of life: the mindless surrender of the self via the mutilation of the intellect. What a BOOBOO to be like God

The bible tells us to be like God, but then on page after page it describes God as petty, unjust, cruel, vindictive, capricious, sadomasochistic, and a bully, not to mention - a murderer. These horrors may be the historical complexity that explains the political behavior of most countries of Western world; especially, the Philippines - the only Christian countryin Asia. A country where its people are more loving of God up there by hating one another down here. In the meantime, I am told on these pages that I am preaching, not teaching. Well, whatever the case may be, I teach FREE OF CHARGE and I also preach FREE OF CHARGE. Poch Suzara

Civilization

Civilization is the order and freedom promoting cultural activity. Will Durant Civilization is the process of reducing the infinite to the finite. Oliver W. Holmes In the Philippines, if we ever hope to enjoy civilization in the here and now, we must first learn to be courageous enough dump down the drain the bullshit more known as God leading us into temptation for the sake of our "eternal salvation." God Bless our Sick Economic System

There are already more than 15,000,000 Filipinos residing and working today in some 168 foreign countries. Indeed, in the Philippines, out of every one job available there are more than 100 applicants applying for that job. And the wages offered are, as usual, pathetic. Just like working for any employer who is a “me first” greedy lunatic or the kind who is proud to be a BLESSED BY GOD Catholic! In the meantime, I have yet to see Filipino economists working not for their employer’s greed, but working by protecting and defending the employee’s needs. If they are unable to do so, the least they can do is to start proclaiming that our population growth is not fruitful, but fruitless in our struggle for equality via national economic prosperity. In our country where the rich minority get richer, and the poor majority get poorer, I ask: what the fuck are you Filipino college-educated economists doing to remedy the national bullshit otherwise more known as GOD BLESS the sick economic system traditional in the Philippines? Old Age, Manny Pacquiao, and Decency in the Philippines

Old age, like any other age, is the time to struggle for human decency. - Bertrand Russell I would like to add, however, old age, like any other age, is also the time to expose the lies and deceptions that's keeping us Filipinos directionless as a people, and rudderless as a nation. In this connection, I say, if only Manny Pacquiao as our champion boxer of the world can see his way clear that he could also be the greatest Filipino thinker by boxing too at the dirty faces of lies and deception that's keeping losers as a people and a failure as a nation - he can turn out to be the greatest Filipino boxer/hero/savior this world, our world, has ever produced! Who are We as Atheists in this world

We atheists stand for inquiry and doubt. We stand for logic and sound empirical method. We stand for things capable of sorting true facts from what is false, to every reasonable person's satisfaction. We stand with courage to admit ignorance, and the wisdom to assume not too much, as well as the consequent political reality that finding common ground and negotiating differences is far wiser, and better for all, than maintaining adamant opposition on matters that do not even warrant an adamant opinion in the first place. We stand for reason as justification for free inquiry rather than slavish belief. We stand for happiness, and the understanding and accomplishment that are needed to achieve it. Above all, we atheist stand for being a hero to himself and his fellow humans, rather than to a villain. When the reasons for these values are truly understood, any man would hold on to them and keep them, even if god himself appeared and ended all dispute as to his existence. Indeed, an atheist ought to live his life so he can say with all sincerity, "even if God's existence were proven, I would change only my understanding of the facts, and not the values by which I guide my conduct and thought as a decent man living the good life - one inspired by the love of life, and guided by the joys of more learning via the pursuit of more knowledge. Indeed, we atheists are inspired not by infantile pursuits but by endless questioning to promote intelligent and honest thinking for the sake of enhancing intellectual maturity in order to spread more common human decency. It is, in this way, in the end, that we atheists die sober, and not drunk with lies. There is no such thing as a "hereafter" after death simply because there no such thing as a "herebefore" before birth! Poch Suzara

Atheism is a Worldwide Movement Without Victims

Foremost Philippine historian Teodoro A. Agoncillo summed it all up: “Self-deception is the worst tragedy of the Filipino as a people." Well, I should add, what can be expected of Filipinos who continue to be not the intelligent masters, but the silly victims of values and beliefs under Christianity and its teachings based upon confusion, illusion, and confusion, not to mention: "eternal salvation" at the expense of Filipino civilization? In the meantime, I am most proud to be one of the many Filipino atheists in our country today. Atheism is a worldwide movement without followers, without victims. As atheists, we are all, each and every one of us - the masters, as well as leaders of this movement. We have no need of frightened followers or members to charge membership dues and to extract "donations" or "charity money" from them. Poch Suzara

A Filipino with College Education

He who learns but does not think, is lost! He who thinks but does not learn is in great danger. ~ Confucius He who learns what to believe, and believes what he has not learned is more known as a Filipino with college education. Poch Suzara

After we are all Religiously Fucked to Death

In this already 21st century - in our schools, colleges, and universities, instead of more science and technology, we Filipinos are still being educated to believe that we need NOT bother to love our country since there is a better country we will all to go to especially after we all religiously fucked to death down here for the love of Jesus up there - Poch Suzara

Life of Fear in the Philippines

Indeed, when we allow one kind of FEAR to dominate us, all other kinds of FEAR will eventually dominate us also. And that is how we live in this only Christian country in Asia - with FEAR supported with more FEARS especially as inspired by the will of God more known as FREE WILL! Poch Suzara

Atheism for the Philipines

My Dearest Et al, Everybody knows that 99.9 per cent of the men and women employed, installed, appointed, or elected to serve in the Philippine government are corrupt or easily corruptible. These college-educated faithfools would defend and protect first their position or their monthly salary, but never, would they ever - defend and protect love of country. Nobody, however, has the guts to admit that there are no atheists connected with the Philippine government. Indeed, the corrupt officials and some other 1.7 million corrupt government employees all have faith, believe, love, worship, and adore God and his son Jesus. As if these supernatural Jewish characters have anything to do with Filipinos in the Philippines to begin with. For my part, as an atheist, I say this is a most favorable argument for Atheism to grow, to expand, and to develop in the Philippines. That is, if we hope to see and to feel that ours is an honest and efficient government of the people, by the people, and for the people. NOT for what is divine up there, but simply - for what is human down here. Poch Suzara

Code of Living for the Atheist

CODE OF LIVING FOR ATHEISTS Dedicated to, as inspired by the writings of, - Dr. Jose Rizal Keep the body strong that the most efficient work may be done, the greatest happiness obtained during life and a wholesome inheritance passed on to future generations. Cultivate the mind, learning as many important facts as possible, striving to become expert in some particular field of endeavor. Develop a scientific spirit, the essential characteristic of which is the search for truth in the light of evidence and reason. Do not deceive yourself or others. Base your spiritual concepts on the basis of questioning everything. Be prepared to change your philosophy to conform to the consensus of scientific knowledge. Conduct all human relationships in a spirit of tolerance and love, having proper consideration for others, not presuming to control or to dominate their lives. Treat the opposite sex honorably, respecting their complementary qualities, with due regard for succeeding generations. Endeavor to embody in the laws of the community the spirit of equity, sanity, and human decency. Strive for an economic system under which each individual shall be rewarded according to his or her value to society. Avoid the use of physical force for personal revenge or national aggrandizement, having learned from experience that reason triumphs while brutality degrades. Hold yourself in readiness to accept new findings, new revelations, and new knowledge as a self-correcting enterprise. Poch Suzara

The Ways of Frightened Little Children

In the bible: “Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the Kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Matt. 18:1-4 Again Jesus said: “Verily I say unto you. Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of heaven as a little child, he shall not enter therein.” Mark 10:15 And that is exactly what we all are in this famous only Christian country in Asia: a bunch of frightened children incapable of standing up to solve human problems. We have yet to solve our social and political problems with consistent hard work, and not with childish prayers. Prayers are the ways of the superstitious primitives. Yes, we are all cowards in this morally bankrupt, spiritually impoverished, and politically insane country of ours. It is time to shape up and grow up not with stupid beliefs, but with intelligent values. Let us look deep at the power of science – now directing other Asian countries to extricate themselves out of poverty into enviable social, economic and political growth and development. How could the Filipino mind, filled with frightful phantoms and guided only by men interested in perpetuating their own infantile ignorance and childish fears, make progress either as a people or develop as a nation? In this country, like frightened children, we still believe in the silly pronouncements of other stupid children otherwise known as “politicians” and “theologians” not to mention frightened lawyers, teachers, professors, priests, bishops, archbishops, and cardinals.” As if they have anything truthful, useful, or fruitful to say or to deliver for the growth and maturity of our country. Where is the sense of pride and dignity of the Filipino as a people? Why do we continue to suffer much despite our endless devotion to God and his saints? How come in this one and only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century – we Filipinos continue to have a limit to human intelligence, but we seem to have no limit to the “arrogance” of human stupidity? Even our college-educated men and women at home and abroad never fail to prove that we are, indeed, the Sick Children of Asia. Now I am told that “atheism” can never become a way of daily life in the Philippines – not in a thousand years. Well, in that case, I say - let us put up the fight for atheism TODAY, not like a bunch of frightened cowards – postpone it for TOMORROW. Even our college professors are just as childish as everyone else. They are just as superstitious. They still teach that what is essential for the development of the Filipino mind is to appreciate those things that are incomprehensible and therefore need not be proved to be true. Indeed, when our brain is troubled, we believe everything and examine nothing. Like silly little children, we all want to be afraid. Our imagination via our indoctrination demands it. We have deep faith in sacred mysteries. Indeed, we reject what is known, we would rather play around with what is unknown or even with what is NOT worth knowing. It’s obvious we fear nothing more than having nothing to fear. We are no better off than the fugitives from justice: In our sick society, we are all fugitives from reason. Our favorite sport is to jump always into conclusion by running away from reality in order to have faith in our delusions and illusions. In the meantime, my dear reader, it is time to wake up. Our prayers addressed to God are as similar in form and substance to the letters ignorant children write to Santa Claus during Christmas Season. What could be more “arrogant” than that infantile pursuit? For my part, I would rather embrace atheism than continue to have faith in Catholicism in my country. It is time for us to be a grace to the human race. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Murder of our Curios Minds in School

The greatest evil done to us during our formative years in school was the murder of our curious minds. Look how utterly thoughtless we are as a Catholic people, and how shamelessly mindless we are as a Catholic nation. Indeed, we are all born ignorant, not stupid. We are made stupid by Catholic education. Especially in the Philippines where most of the existing schools, colleges, and universities are owned and operated by the Catholic church - it is one of the most highly profitable commercial enterprises existing in our country teaching us to be spiritually twisted as a people and to be morally distorted as a nation. In the meantime, show me a Filipino who has enjoyed his schools days and I will show you a Filipino who is shallow-minded, greedy, selfish, insane, corrupt, and has more faith in a divinity than he loves his country. Truth - What Truth

“Truth is a shining goddess, always veiled, always distant, never wholly approachable, but worthy of all the devotion of which the human spirit is capable.” Bertrand Russell "The sacred truth in science is that there are no sacred truths." Carl Sagan The truth has been revealed in the bible; unfortunately, nobody knows which truth has been revealed. Or even revealed by whom, for whom, or to whom? In the meantime, the truth can be found not only at the bottom of the abyss, but that the abyss is also bottomless. And to think that an inspired joker of God had the gall to write in the bible: "We will know the truth, and the truth will set us free.” John 8:32 Poch Suzara

Spirituality as the Highest of Intellectuality

The sum of the whole matter is that our civilization cannot survive materially unless it be redeemed spiritually. - Woodrow Wilson “The learning of something new requires a giving up of the old self and a death of outworn knowledge. To develop a broader vision we must be willing to forsake, to kill, our narrower vision. In the short run it is more comfortable not to do this – to stay where we are, to keep using the same microcosmic map, to avoid suffering the death of cherished notions. The road to spiritual growth, however, lies in the opposite direction. We begin by distrusting what we already believe, by actively seeking the threatening and the unfamiliar, by deliberately challenging the validity of what we have previously been taught and hold dear. The path to holiness lies through questioning EVERYTHING.” - M. Scot Peck, Psychiatrist Spirituality has nothing to do with silly superstitious fantasy, or anything to do with childish religiosity. It has only to do with the search of the truth via the power of our own precious intelligibility constantly aware of stark reality. Indeed, the search of the truth is man's most highest form of spirituality. Poch Suzara

The quote of the month is by Jay Leno: "With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, "Are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?" I say YES, it is time! I also say that "it is time for all of us to believe that it must have been the Devil who created the mess in this world when God was not looking!" Atheists NOT allowed to work for the Government

MY DEAREST ET AL: Please stop clowning around. To label my ATHEISM as a psychological problem is a feeble, nay, a childish attempt to evade the fundamental questions of truth and falsehood. Are your beliefs based on facts? What reasons have you shared with us in this forum that proves God is not only GOOD but also so loving of sick Filipinos living in the only sick christian country in Asia? Your desperate attempts to defeat my ATHEISM on these pages by subordinating TRUTH to your EMOTIONALISM has accomplished NOTHING, aside from REVEALING YOUR CONTEMPT as college-educated faithfools to go against my ability TO THINK; especially as a high school expelled student! Are you people really that BLIND in BLIND FAITH? Are you people really that vicious, malicious, or meretricious or just that frightened like little lost children? Why do you worry about my being an atheist? How come you do not worry at all when it comes to the truth that all of our officials and employees in the government; our teachers in school; our professors in college; our businessmen, traders, exporters, farmers, rice planters, etc, not to mention all of our commanders in the army, navy, and air force, etc. NOT one of them is an ATHEIST! In fact, all of them believe, love, adore, and have faith in God! In the meantime, we are repeatedly told by our religious leaders that ONLY GOD CAN SOLVE OUR SOCIAL ILLS! Poch Suzara

Our Misplaced Love as a People and as a Nation

My dearest et al, “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments. ”Matthew 22:36-40 It is incredible how Jesus himself could not see his way clear that in view of the time and energy needed to follow the first commandment - very little time and energy are left for any of us to love our mother and father, brothers and sisters, nay, to love also our neighbor. In fact, this is how sick we are as the SICK CHILDREN OF ASIA - we have neither the time nor energy to love each other as Filipinos in the Philippines. We only have love for Jesus on earth as he is in heaven. I said it before, I say it again: It is time in this already 21st century to dump this obsolete Jewish Jesus hogwash! Poch Suzara

Sometimes I Regret that I am an Atheist

Sometimes, I do regret that I am an atheist. I should have been an existentialist - they declare that even if God did exists, that would change nothing. I DID NOT FAIL IN SCHOOL

I did not fail in school. My school failed me. It also failed my country. As a grade school student I already had my suspicions that there is more to life than just learning how to pray daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly to: ST JOHN BAPTIST DE LA SALLE, PRAY FOR US. LIVE JESUS IN OUR HEARTS, FOREVER. No, De La Salle university did not expel me. Rather, I expelled myself out of that insane situation hardly known in the Philippines as "our sick system of education." Take a good look at the evils that's keeping our country poor and backward. Such evils all come from our sick system of education under the tax-free supervision by the Catholic church in the Philippines. Indeed, schools, colleges, and universities owned by the Catholic church are not educational institutions. They are commercial enterprises. Again, take a good look at our college-educated men and women. They are more at home loving God up there by hating our country down here. Oh yes, the holy bible is very clear on this issue. Listen to God, the Father of Jesus, warning: "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." 1 John 2:15. Now listen to the Son of God, Jesus, declaring: "If any man come to me and hate not his father and mother, and wife and children, and brethern, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." Luke 14:26 In the meantime, for as long we have poverty, perversity, corruption, insanity, daily prayers, dancers, singers, preachers, faith-healers, sex dealers, street walkers, swindlers, land grabbers, squatters, baby breeders, lotto losers, frightened teachers, corrupt traders, income tax evaders, law-breakers, corrupt law-makers, Jesus is the Lord movers, indeed, as long as we remain aimless as a people, and faithfully stay rudderless as a nation - "IT IS MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES." With Stupid Prayers is there Hope for our country

The question I asked decades ago, I still am asking today: Is there hope for our country? Yes, with intelligent leaders producing more leaders! There will never be HOPE, however, if we just carry on as stupid followers! After all, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly - we Filipinos have not ceased to believe and to have faith in the power of prayer. Thus far, however, the result of our endless prayers is only that we must continue to pray endlessly. In the meantime, if God or Jesus answered our prayers to cure corruption out of our sick society, how come corruption is still a disease that afflicts every man, woman, and child in the Philippines? Indeed, if prayers were efficient or reliable all of us would stay young, healthy, attractive, learned, sane, kind, loving, intelligent, and rich in spirit. But we live in a sick, rotten, and a decadent society due to, if not because of our stupid faith in the stupid power behind stupid prayer. Poch Suzara

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSE RIZAL

HAPPY BIRTHDAY - JOSE RIZAL ( OUR UNREAD AND UNLOVED NATIONAL HERO ) You gave your life for our country's intellectual development. Indeed, for us Filipinos to be free-minded individuals so that we too may love our country. So, on the anniversary of your birth on June 19, I should wish to report to you what's happening to our people and to our country. Sadly there is little progress on both fronts since your church-orchestrated death; including the deathbed extraction or faking of your alleged retraction. Our country is still stuck in Third World mentality. Its now horribly bloated 100 million inhabitants ( 7 million in your time) still score comparatively low in world rankings in science and technology achievements. This goes for last year also. What is a sin for our women is contraception. And what, however, is still a virtue is self-deception. It is still inspired by divine revelation. Thanks to our corrupt system of education. In the recent impeachment trial the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court,a Filipino more devoted not to love of country, but love only divinity under Christianity - Mass, daily prayer, and money - this God-fearing Filipino, was found guilty of violating public trust and culpable violation of the constitution. He has been removed from office. This development, the removal of one top government official, is, however, just the tip of the corrupt iceberg. There is still so much fraud, farce, ceremony, and thieving at all levels of our sick society. Corrupt government officials usually operate like a gang of hoodlums. They defend and protect each other inside or outside the court of Law. It is otherwise more known as the "due process of the law." Oh yes, your old and powerful enemy who had you falsely arrested, incarcerated, publicly executed are still here reigning in authority. They are still in control of the minds and hearts of our people; especially our women - the molded products of schools, colleges, and universities, owned and controlled or influenced by them. They still indoctrinate our youth in wasteful religious studies and rituals, especially in how to pray ever harder for divine miracles. Never mind concentrating on the facts and analyzing them in order to creatively solve real problems. Imagine the absurdity of inculcating habits of reaching out to fantasy solutions to solve real problems. Such faith-filled training orients our youth to downplay life on this earth in wasted preference and preparations for an imaginary better life to come after death. The Catholic charity activities in our country is active as ever . The results are more of the same this year as it was during the previous years. The charity recipients are getting poorer and poorer; while the charity organizations are getting richer and richer. In the meantime, just in Metro Manila alone - hundreds of thousands of Filipino families live off garbage in garbage dumps. They salvage what is sellable materials off dirty rivers, clogged esteros, and polluted lakes. No one in the government or in the church - cares. We are all reminded that God will provide for them! If not on this earth, in God's kingdom in the next world. In the meantime, politics and religion in our country are still not separated, but illicitly happy integrated together. The results too are more of the same old economic story: no prosperity, but only more of the same poverty spreading misery in our insane society. In the meantime, the sinners and criminals in our country are always reminded that no matter what sins or crimes they commit, there is always available from God, at any time, the forgiveness of sin and the pardon of crime! Yes sir, as it was during your time, it is still the same at this time: The only kind of salvation we Filipinos need is the salvation from fear and ignorance! Both evils are the curse and the cause of all our endless problems as a people, and our endless troubles as a nation! Our editors and columnists in the print media would readily write on the evils of politics; but would hardly write as well on the greater evils of religion. Indeed, stupid religion that is keeping us Filipinos intellectually impoverished as a people, and keeping the Philippines economically malnourished as a nation. Yes sir, we Filipinos continue to be the victims of indoctrination you had exposed and denounced. We are not the masters of education. We are still stuck into the Third World religious way of believing. We have yet to progress into the thorough scientific way of thinking that you emphatically favored and championed in your writings. Imagine: most educated Filipinos still do not care to read serious books. In fact I and close friends have not yet met a Filipino student or graduate who has seriously read your works. Remember your most critical satire on God, Jesus, Mary, Friars and Filipinos? Practically no one until now has even heard of it. Likewise, hardly anyone has even heard of that e-book talked about in the Internet that has proven the falsehood of your alleged retraction. It's as if no one cares to emulate your great personality and its depths. We have yet to allow science and clear thinking to transform ourselves into becoming dignified men and self-respecting women. We have yet to be capable of solving our problems not with infantile faith, but with the power of reason and science-oriented investigations. It is very painful to admit that millions of us Filipinos continue to contribute daily to keeping our own country poor, backward, unloved in effect. Nevertheless rich only in blind faith to carry on our traditional defects. Especially as we hardly reflect. We are only inspired to genuflect. You wrote a lot about these issues, which you called "lamentable nurtured defects and predispositions". But hardly any Filipino learns this from you, ironically their number one national hero. The mislabeled "pro-life" believers running and over-populating our sick society continue to insist that we have no population problem in our country today. They insist that there is enough to provide Filipinos with adequate food, housing, and schooling, even if our population reaches 200 million Filipinos. Even if that would wipe out many animal and plant species and much of our protective ecology. After all, we are still told - God loves us. There is always Jesus - our Savior. And so, in the Philippines today, an average of 3 babies are born every minute of the day or 1.8 million yearly. When they grow up, if at all, such children are also taught in schools to refer to Jesus in the bible for the moral guidance. Thus, we continue to be infamous as the Sick Man of Asia. Or, better said, we're getting more famous as the Sick Children of Asia. Instead of evolution to redefine our culture, we only have more of the same ancient revelation to further damage our institutions. Indeed, "It's More Fun in the Philippines." Our population growth is forcing a fantastic rise in malnutrition and illiteracy keeping us entertained as a people and faithfully wayward as a nation. Sir, again this year, as it was during the previous years, the faith-soaked politicians in government 'serve' our country not by telling the bitter truth, but by telling seductive sweeter lies. Like the official inflation and unemployment rates, which are always much understated and sugar-coated. Ours continue to be a government of the corrupt, by the corrupt, and for the corrupt. And we inhabitants as members of our respected churches are nurtured to always vote them into their high offices. Such horrors come nurtured from our schools, colleges, and universities. Millions of our college educated men and women are working not for our national growth and maturity, but are employed in foreign countries. Such Filipino emigrants enjoy the wealth of real education in such foreign countries. The kind of wealth that comes from science which is all about the courage to think, to question, to change, to grow, and to develop under a fearless, self-correcting enterprise. Indeed, science that shows people how to live the good life - how to be inspired by love and guided by the power of knowledge. My dear Sir, you were certainly a real hero during your century. Today, in our own century, instead of heroes in our God-fearing country we only have God-fearing politicians indoctrinated to have more faith in our blind Christian faith. They neither read enough for today's necessary quantum of knowledge nor make use of its power and diffusion. None of them, I dare to say, reads your works seriously and heeds them, which makes me wonder how you became our number one national hero. Our politicians would readily pray to a foreign divinity to remedy the traditional ills of our sick society. They do not pay any serious attention to remedy the rotten core that pretty much generate our corrupt system of education - the root cause of our daily way of confusion as a people and yearly delusion as a nation deprived of any critical science-guided sense of direction. Dearest Sir, Happy Birthday! I respect you. I admire you. I love you! Yes Sir, thanks to you, a few of us have managed to see and think through the evils of your enemy--reason-deadening faith in Christian values and beliefs. Especially the theocratic Catholic kind you fought and got killed you. Through reading your church-critical works and essays, we know what it means to love our country and to always be on the side of our fellow-countrymen, not for what we Filipinos are today, but for the free-minded reading Filipinos we can become tomorrow. Alas, you also repeatedly said something like that in your church-condemned and religiously suppressed writings. But better late than never. May we, the people, discover more of ourselves via discovering you as the most courageous Filipino thinker this world has ever produced. Yours sincerely, Poch Suzara

Greeting from a Humanist/Atheist

I am a humanist and an atheist who cares. If I had the power of a Jesus in the New testament, I would not cure one person of blindness, I would eliminate blindness out of this world totally. I would not cure one person of leprosy. I would abolish not only leprosy, but abolish all other kinds of diseases out of this world by simply - making health contagious. On top of it all - I would make all marriage between man and woman happy as husband and wife to each other, and even happier as father and mother to their children. In this way, the troubles and problems in this world, our world, need not be rooted in the human family derailed. Poch Suzara

Bertrand Russell as a HAPPY MAN

There was this accusation made by one of our contributors, who posted in our website and claimed that Bertrand Russell had been unhappy with his life because he had been married four times. This is contrary to what Bertrand Russell wrote to his wife, during the late years of his life as follows: To Edith Through the long years I sought peace I found ecstasy, I found anguish, I found madness, I found loneliness, I found the solitary pain that gnaws the heart, But peace I did not find. Now, old & near my end, I have known you, And, knowing you, I have found both ecstasy & peace I know rest After so many lonely years. I know what life & love may be. Now, if I sleep I shall sleep fulfilled. Bertrand Russell The Prologue to Bertrand Russell's Autobiography What I Have Lived For Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind. These passions, like great winds, have blown me hither and thither, in a wayward course, over a great ocean of anguish, reaching to the very verge of despair. I have sought love, first, because it brings ecstasy - ecstasy so great that I would often have sacrificed all the rest of life for a few hours of this joy. I have sought it, next, because it relieves loneliness--that terrible loneliness in which one shivering consciousness looks over the rim of the world into the cold unfathomable lifeless abyss. I have sought it finally, because in the union of love I have seen, in a mystic miniature, the prefiguring vision of the heaven that saints and poets have imagined. This is what I sought, and though it might seem too good for human life, this is what--at last--I have found. With equal passion I have sought knowledge. I have wished to understand the hearts of men. I have wished to know why the stars shine. And I have tried to apprehend the Pythagorean power by which number holds sway above the flux. A little of this, but not much, I have achieved. Love and knowledge, so far as they were possible, led upward toward the heavens. But always pity brought me back to earth. Echoes of cries of pain reverberate in my heart. Children in famine, victims tortured by oppressors, helpless old people a burden to their sons, and the whole world of loneliness, poverty, and pain make a mockery of what human life should be. I long to alleviate this evil, but I cannot, and I too suffer. This has been my life. I have found it worth living, and would gladly live it again if the chance were offered me. If Bertrand Russel had been unhappy during the early part of his life, not because of his failed marriages, but what he found in this world: "anguish, madness, loneliness and the solitary pain that gnaws the heart" And in the "The Prologue" he wrote:This has been my life. I have found it worth living, and would gladly live it again if the chance were offered me. Is this the words of an unhappy man? Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google# -

DO NOT ROCK THE PHILIPPINE BOAT

Here is the biblical foundation of our beliefs and values: Even if, in this already 21st century, our boat as a nation is going nowhere; even if it is still aimless, rudderless, and directionless - never must we ever rock the boat. Especially for the glory of Jesus Christ on earth as he is in heaven. Poch Suzara

Depend on Jesus if You Must

In Search of Wealth Only to Find the Grave

We squander our health, in search of wealth. We toil, we scheme, we sweat, and we save. Then we squander our wealth in search of health; only to find the grave. As with me, however, I have been most fortunate. I squandered my health and wealth in search of the truth. It is a never-ending search; but in the process I managed, somehow, to discover the lies and deceptions that's keeping us spiritually poor as a people and keeping us morally bankrupt as a nation. In sharing, however, my discoveries with you guys and gals - I never intended to be vicious or malicious; in fact, I thought, I am just being ethically meritorious, if not philosophically courageous. In the meantime, the search of the truth is the most expensive of adventures: it entails the total submission to the power of reason via the mutilation of silly faith. Poch Suzara

Not the Sick Man, but The Sick Children of Asia

Jesus said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." Matt. 18:3 Jesus repeats, "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children." Matt. 19:24 I said it before, I say it again: With Jesus as the one and only Savior we historically have as a people and indeed, as a nation - it is more honest to admit that we are not infamous as the Sick Man of Asia; nay, we are getting more famous as the Sick Children of Asia. My Death Soon and Judgement Day

Surely I look forward to my death soon to face judgement day. I am, however eager to appear at the bar not as a sinner or a criminal, but as an accuser. I hope to accuse God and his son Jesus not only guilty of the horrors of universal deviltry, but especially also of crimes against humanity via the teachings of Christianity! May God and His son Jesus and the Holy Spirit all rot as supernatural monsters in hell forever and ever! Poch Suzara

God in Hell, Devil in Heaven, Saints in Purgatory

Man differs from an animal only by a little. "Most men," said Confucius, "throw that little away." Sadly, dominated by silly religiosity, most men throw away their common sense for human decency. They would rather make a mockery of what human life should be down here; especially for the greater glory of a divinity up there. Like frightened faithfools on this earth, they would rather believe in the existence of a silly divinity in hell, and in the existence of a stupid deviltry in heaven, and in the existence of moronic saints in Purgatory! The Pope and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court

The Pope may act outside the law, above the law, and against the law. - St. Robert bellarmine (1542-1621) Italian Cardinal If I may add, in the Philippines, such a pope, with a clear conscience, is more known as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. - Poch Suzara

Believing is Easy. Thinking is Hard.

Thinking is hard and believing is easy. It follows why there are far more stupid believers in this world than there are intelligent thinkers. For my part, each time I find myself unable to think; or, as the case may be, unable to believe, I do the next best thing: I suspend my judgment while I gather the evidences. In the meantime, I'd rather be wrong as an intelligent thinker than be right as a stupid believer. After all, anything mandated can, sooner or later, be amended. A stupid believe is right when it believes that the sun rises for the morning and sets for the evening. An intelligent thinker, however, has discovered that it is but a grand illusion. The sun does not move. It is the earth that rotates on its own axis and orbits round the sun giving the impression that it rises as it sets. Poch Suzara

So Jesus was a Genius - So What?

Genius has no country. It blossoms everywhere. Genius is like the light, the air. It is the heritage of all. - Dr. Jose Rizal I asked it before, I ask it again: If Jesus were such a Genius how come in all of Asia only the Filipinos love, worship, and adore Jesus? The Chinese, Indians, Indonesians, Japanese, Malaysians, Taiwanese, Vietnamese, Thais, Burmese, Cambodians, Mongolians have never heard nor do they care to hear about Jesus? - Poch Suzara

Jesus Hanged on a Tree - which Tree?

"The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.” Acts 5:30-32 I asked it before, I ask it again: Jesus was HANGED to die on which tree - the TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL - (Gen. 2:9); or, on the TREE OF LIFE? - (Gen:3:22). In the meantime, in the Philippine Star today it says: "the cross of Jesus is the supreme evidence of the love of God." What love of God? what cross of Jesus? Jesus was hanged on a tree? Poch Suzara

What We Atheists Believe

Atheists believe that a hospital should be built instead of a church. Atheists believe that deed must be done instead of prayer said. Atheists strive for involvement in life and not escape into death. We want disease conquered, poverty vanished, war eliminated. - Madalyn Murray O'Hair If I may add, as an openly-avowed and publicly-declared atheist myself - we atheists would also like to bring more light into our world of darkness - by way of living the good life - one inspired by human love and guided by human knowledge of and for this world. Our world! - Poch Suzara

Whatever Happened to Love for Humanity

If there be an infinite Being, he does not need our help -- we need not waste our energies in his defense. - Robert Green Ingersoll If I may add, why were churches and cathedrals established in the Philippines for the care and maintenance of God who already owned everything; and not established for the care and maintenance of Filipinos who owned nothing? God as a Cry-Baby God

My dear sir: Thank you for admitting that God is really nothing but a supernatural jerk, a cry-baby, a divine coward, a useless and a powerless Being, a reckless creator who, compared to the existence of the devil, God has always been and still is nothing but all-knowing FAILURE AND AN ALL-MIGHTY LOSER! Letter to the Editor on Prayers to Jesus

May 17, 2012 Philippine Daily Inquirer Letter to the Editors Dear Editors: The 1987 Constitution of the Philippines declares: The separation of Church and State shall be inviolable. (Article II, Section 6), and, No law shall be made respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. The free exercise and enjoyment of religious profession and worship, without discrimination or preference, shall forever be allowed. No religious test shall be required for the exercise of civil or political rights. (Article III, Section 5). May I remind our legislators both in the Senate and in the House of Representatives that your prayers to the Lord Jesus Christ before the daily impeachment trial of the chief Justice Renato C. Corona begins is a flagrant violation of the State and Church separation provision as per called for in our Constitution! As a Senior Citizen of our Republic, I ask: in the long history of Filipino affairs ever since we got to be the only Christian country in Asia, have any of our daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly prayers to Jesus Christ helped decrease our poverty as a people; or, helped increase our maturity as a nation? Sincerely, Poch Suzara Makati city 0916-572-4788

Our Sick Society with Sick Values and Sick Beliefs

Modern business in America is a postgraduate course in crookedness, dishonesty, lies, and deceptions, and it has destroyed the moral content of America as a nation. In the Philippines, however, college education is just like the nature of modern business in America. It means the license to be greedy, selfish, stupid, and insane. Otherwise, it is what "success in life" is all about. Or, for the glory of God in hell; or, for the sake of the devil in heaven - how to be corrupt in order to maintain and support our sick society with sick values and sick beliefs. Poch Suzara

Reality as Insanity in the Philippines

We are all born ignorant, not stupid. We are made stupid by education. Indeed, our collective will is due to, if not because of the result of - our stupid system of education. Look how in this already 21st century, our schools, colleges, and universities still teach that in order to save our souls for heaven we must only love God up there via hate of our country and hate of one another down here. Bertrand Russell summarized it neatly for all of us: "Religion encourages stupidity and an insufficient sense of reality." And to think that in the Philippines even daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reality is mostly based upon historical Catholic insanity. Poch Suzara

The Philippines is NOT a Democracy. It is a Theocracy. It has been and still is since the 16th century - a Church for the Catholics, by the Catholics, and for the Catholics. Like you, I too was born as an Atheist

Every one of us, when we are born, fresh out of the uterus, is an atheist. All babies are born atheist: free from religion. No baby is born as a Catholic, or a Muslim, or a Jew, or a Baptist, or a Hindu. We are all born free and then indoctrinated. When we attain the age of intellectual discretion - we repudiate that indoctrination. That is how we become in the truest sense of the term- BORN-AGAINST ATHEIST. We are back to the purity of our beginning before any of this dreadful theistic philosophy was put into our receptive, but undiscriminating, little minds. Conscience is no inner voice from God. Conscience is merely the combined product of evolution and education. If one were to follow one’s conscience rather than reason, what follows is not only confusion, but also delusion. Atheism Atheism is the world of reason, reality, and freedom. Atheism is human concern, and intellectual honesty to a degree that the religious mind cannot begin to understand. And yet it is much more. Atheism is not an old religion, it is not a new and coming religion, in fact it is not, and never has been, a religion at all. The definition of Atheism is magnificent in its simplicity: Atheism is merely the bed-rock of sanity in a world gone mad. Atheism rises above divinity and puts humanity upon every one else. There are no 'chosen people' in the Atheist philosophy. There are no bended knees in Atheism; No supplications, no prayers; no doctrines; No sacrificial redemptions, no eternal promises; No 'divine' revelations, no sacred writings; No washing in the blood of the lamb; No crusades, no massacres, no holy wars; No inquisition; no dogma, hogma, or pigma. No heaven, no hell, no purgatory, no limbo; No silly rewards, no vindictive punishments; No Christ, and no saviors; no I am who am; No burning bush, no talking donkey; No devils, no ghosts and no gods; No fear of silly divinity, only the courage to work for the good of humanity and to struggle only for the spread of human decency. Globally. YES, I AM AN ATHEIST AND PROUD TO BE ONE. I WAS BORN AN ATHEIST AND I SHALL DIE AN ATHEIST. There are no other options. No other choices. It is impossible to believe in God while coming out of mother’s womb. It is equally impossible to believe in God when one is already dead, buried, and gone out of this world. Poch Suzara

No Read, No Write Jesus

Jesus was a NO READ AND NO WRITE savior. So was His Father. Who was also a NO READ AND NO WRITE creator - look how GOD could only inspire authors to write but could NOT write the bible Himself. Look at Mary, the Mother of Jesus, she too was a NO READ NO WRITE mother. So was Mary's spouse Joseph, a NO READ AND NO WRITE carpenter in his Jewish community. JESUS was a product of an ILLITERATE family. After all, Jesus himself believed that "IN MUCH WISDOM IS MUCH GRIEF, AND THAT INCREASETH KNOWLEDGE INCREASETH SORROW." Ecc. 1:18. Moreover, why bother to learn how to read critically and how to write argumentatively when God, Mary, and Joseph and indeed Jesus preached: "THE WISDOM OF THIS WORLD IS FOOLISHNESS WITH GOD. FOR IT IS WRITTEN, HE TAKETH THE WISE IN THEIR OWN CRAFTINESS." 1 Cor. 3:10 As for me, I was expelled out of La SALLE high school precisely because I never ceased to question the teachings that we must only READ and WRITE as the stupid followers of FAITH, but never, must we ever read or write as the INTELLIGENT MASTERS of REASON! Thus, the index librorum expurgatorius - a list of forbidden books deemed morally and politically harmful by the authority of the Catholic church Jose Rizal was arrested, incarcerated, and publicly executed for exposing himself as a Filipino of intelligent reason who loved the world and loved humanity. He was one great avid reader of banned books and a great writer of great books himself. And yet, in our only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century, who gives a hoot about the real Jose Rizal - a Filipino of the highest intellect. Indeed, a rare Filipino addicted to the fields of thought - surely a scholar and a gentleman who, at the expense of his own precious life, he tried hard to spread sanity and beauty into our country where the Catholic church with Jesus, Mary and Joseph have only put the horrors of religious insanity that makes for our sick society! Ordinary Minds, Average Minds, and Great Minds

Confucius said it: ORDINARY MINDS TALK ABOUT PEOPLE. AVERAGE MINDS TALK ABOUT EVENTS. GREAT MINDS TALK ABOUT IDEAS. Sad to see those who often brag that they have acquired college education; or, that they have even studied the philosophy of the Doctors of the church in a Catholic university. And yet, PEOPLE and EVENTS are about the most such ordinary and average minds talk about. Indeed, they are all ready and willing to impart thoughtless mediocrity instead of expressing thoughtful philosophy. Specially for those watching on TV or listening on Radio eager to learn lessons about living the good life - one inspired by love and guided by knowledge. In our print media and in the radio and television industry - instead of great minds, we only have Jesus freaking, jerks and saps. We even have a famous Teditorial on TV. Teddy Locsin Jr. He puts under deadly analysis the insane daily and nightly news with the conclusion that we need never think about it. We are only expected, as the Sick Man of Asia, to laugh with him at the sick mess of our sick society. Poch Suzara

Can Faith Move the Mountain of Stupidity

If the Catholic church has built Western civilization - how come the same Catholic church has never been able to built civilization in the Philippines - the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century? Are we Filipinos civilized as a people? No kidding? How come under Catholic teachings we Filipinos still do not know how to love one another as a people; nor do we have the knowledge on how to develop ourselves as a strong and independent nation. We only know how to pray and wait for a Savior. We only know how to love God up there by hating one another down here? We only know how to go to heaven after death and to hell with life on this earth after birth! In the meantime, if we have the knowledge on how to move mountain, then surely we have no need of faith to move mountain. Since the 16h century however - the Catholic church is still teaching us Filipinos to believe that only faith and faith alone can move mountain! Well, we are already in the 21st century? So how come we Filipinos are still dominated and ruled by the mountain of Catholic corruption in this only Catholic country in Asia? Poch Suzara

Holy Books of the Great Religions of the World

May 8, 2012 Philippine Daily Inquirer Letter to the Editors, Dear Editors, All the great religions of the world have their holy books, which are regarded as "divinely inspired. The Jews have their Talmud; the Muslims, their Koran; the Buddhists, their Sutras; the Confucians, their Analects; the Taoists; their Tao-Te-Ching; the Hindus, their Bhagavad Gita; the Vedantis, their Upanishads; etc. I ask: why should one group of religious faithfools be regarded as "inspired" authors or prophets or Messiahs of God? While those active at hallucinating are known as the "crack-pots," "faith-healers," or, in the Philippines, more known as "the chief Justice of the Supreme Court" or "senators," "congressmen," "governors," and "mayors?" Also known as "Bishops," "Cardinals," "Ministers," "Evangelists," not to mention in our schools, colleges, and universities known as "Teachers," and "Professors." In the meantime, our own silly bible teaches us to: "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world the love of the Father is not in him." 1 John 2:15 Yours sincerely, Poch Suzara San Lorenzo Village Makati City, Philippines

Intellectual Honesty by Unbelievers

Intellectual honesty comes from the power of reason via the search of the truth. Per contra - habitual dishonesty comes from silly blind faith in the silly holy bible - a book written by superstitious primitives as inspired authors of God. In the meantime, an unbeliever is usually a man who questions everything that the believer takes for granted. What is wrong with most believers? They usually believe things at so dear a prize to pay: the mindless surrender of the self via the mutilation of the intellect. Poch Suzara

Does God in Heaven or the Devil in Hell Need more Sick Souls

Since the death of Jesus on the cross and His resurrection more than a 100 BILLION PEOPLE have already lived and died on this earth. Let's assume 50 BILLION SOULS of of such dead people made it to heaven with God; and 50 BILLION SOULS of dead people made it to hell with the devil. Are we suppose to believe that both GOD and the DEVIL are still so thrilled and excited playing around with the endless SALVATION/DAMNATION GAME to win for the either sick souls? Both are still hungry for more silly souls? They cannot exists without souls? For what? For breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Especially eating souls like the soul of a Poch Suzara? I ask: when will we start to seriously look at the horrors in the hear and now happening to the fellow-citizens of our poor and backward country - the only country in Asia still waiting for the Second Coming of Jesus to remedy the historical ills of our sick society still powered by sick values and sick beliefs such in the existence of sick souls of Filipnos to be damned for hell or to be saved for heaven! Jose Rizal to stay DEAD in the Philippines

"The death sentence is a necessary and efficacious means for the Church to attain its ends when obstinate heretics disturb the ecclesiastical order." Pope Leo X111 (Vincenzo Pecci, 1810-1903) ---------- HELLO YOU KILLERS OF JOSE RIZAL - a heretic. HOW COME YOU ARE STILL HERE not only as a Church but also IN CONTROL OF FILIPINO MINDS AND HEARTS IN THE PHILIPPINES AS OWNERS OF SCHOOLS, COLLEGES, AND UNIVERSITIES; HOSPITALS AND BANKS; NEWSPAPERS AND TV STATIONS; and OTHER COMMERCIAL ENTERPRISES IN THIS ONLY CATHOLIC COUNTRY IN ASIA SINCE THE 16TH CENTURY!Poch Suzara

Happy Old Age

I got to be 76 years old this year. Friends and relatives are wondering why I am, as ever, still bullish against insane religion that's keeping us Filipinos spiritually poor as a people; and morally backwar as a nation! Indeed, both religion and politics in cahoots together keeping us Filipinos deprived away from the wonders of science only to stay famous as the Sick Man of Asia! Well, old age, like any other age, is the time to struggle away from silly biblical revelation. It is time to be involved with intelligent evolution. Indeed, human life on this earth should be about the struggle for humanity to enjoy human decency locally and to enjoy terrestrial sanity globally. Precisely, to put away all that silly business of divinity always in cahoots with deviltry. No doubt, it is a waste of time. It is an impossible dream. But my dear reader, what about you - how do you waste your precious time? You are accomplishing WHAT in this God-forsaken world of ours? Brief, short, and fleeting as life is on this earth! I said it before, I say it again: instead of looking forward to a better life to come after death, it makes more sense to try and leave this world a better place than how we found it. Not in the material, but in the humanitarian sense. Otherwise, there will be no reason for our having lived. In the meantime, today may be the last day of my life. Whatever or however the case may be, I am, as always, still happily singing loud and clear - my favorite song: "For, what is a man, what has he got, if not himself then he has not, to say the things he truly feels, and not the words of one who knees, the record shows I took the blows, and did it MY WAY! It is, in this way, that I continue to be a man of vision, ambition, and revolution. I have more than enough ingredients to carry on my lifetime struggle against the evils of revelation. Poch Suzara

The One and Only Verse I respect written in the Bible

Here is the one and only verse I have the highest respect written in the bible: "You shall not follow a crowd to do evil; neither shall you testify in court to side with a multitude to pervert justice." Exodus 23:2 As for the rest written in the Old Testament and in the New Testament they should be totally thrown out the window. I did! In the meantime, I repeat with Dan Barker: Atheism is a worldwide movement today without followers. We atheists, in our respective field of work, are all leaders! Poch Suzara, Atheist

Filth and Pornography in the Holy Bible

“Because of you I will rebuke your descendants; I will smearon your faces the dung from your festival sacrifices, and you will be carried off with it." Malachi 2:3 "THOU SHALT EAT IT AS BARLEY CAKES, AND THOU SHALT BAKE IT WITH DUNG THAT COMETH OUT OF MAN, IN THEIR SIGHT." Exek. 4:1 "hath he not sent me to the men which sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss withyou?" (II Kings 18:27 "Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt. For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses." Exek 23:19-21 "And lusted after her paramours there, whose members were like those of donkeys, and whose emission was like that of stallions." Ezekiel 23: 21, NRSV) If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days. Deut 22:28-29 And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive? ... Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. Numbers 31:15-18 Comment: it is indeed despicable how in this already 21st century college educated Filipinos still believe the bible as a holy book written by inspired authors of God. As a matter of fact, the bible is really a lot of BIBULLSHIT that should have already been flushed down the TOILET centuries ago. Poch Suzara

Come on you Frightened Jesus Freaks

Come on you frightened Jesus freaks. WAKE UP! There is poverty of the worst kind:
The poverty of the mind and heart. It is what our schools, colleges, and universities are mostly about: DO NOT THINK. JUST BELIEVE.

And famous as we Filipinos are as the SICK MAN OF ASIA, we are more proud and
ready to protect and defend the ways of our stupid BELIEVING; especially for the glory of Jesus up there. Hardly do we ever do intelligent THINKING for the sake of courageously establishing common Filipino decency down here! Poch Suzara

George Carlin on Religion

In the Bullshit Department, a businessman can't hold a candle to a clergyman. 'Cause I gotta tell you the truth, folks. When it comes to bullshit, big-time, major league bullshit, you have to stand in awe of the all-time champion of false promises and exaggerated claims, religion. No contest. No contest. Religion. Religion easily has the greatest bullshit story ever told. Think about it:

"Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time! But He loves you. He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He's all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can't handle money! Religion takes in billions of dollars, they pay no taxes, and they always need a little more. Now, you talk about a good bullshit story." Holy Shit! Poch Suzara

We All Need Jesus

There is no bigger hypocrite than the person who pretends he doesn't need Jesus. Phil Star, April 15, 2012 Oh yes, indeed, we all need Jesus, especially the officials in the government. They all need Jesus to forgive them of their sins against God and to forgive them of their crimes against the people who, like dumbstruck idiots, voted for them to be in government. Poch Suzara

I am a Plagiarist, Scholar, and a Researcher

If you copy the works of one author, you are a plagiarist. If you copy the works of two authors, you are a researcher. If you copy from the works of three authors you are a scholar. If, however, you copy from the works of hundreds of authors you are a plagiarist, a researcher, a scholar all rolled into one Poch Suzara - a high school expelled student. Indeed, I copy from the works of hundreds of famous authors. And aside therefore from being a plagiarist, a scholar, and a researcher, I am also a high-school expelled writer. In my writings, I freely copy from the works of my favorite authors, historians, philosophers, and scientists. These great thinkers of the world have inspired in me to stand on their shoulders. Indeed, thanks to them, I managed to learn how too see wider, how to view higher, and how to fathom deeper, in that I may be enlightened, not forever be frightened like the dumbstruck religious teachers I was blessed with in La Salle grade school and high school years! I love the freedom of expression and I enjoy copying from many authors. To name a few: Bertrand Russell, Will Durant, Carl Sagan, Robert G. Ingersoll, Thomas Paine, Friedrich Nietzche Mark Twain, Charles Darwin, Alvin Toffler, Richard Dawkins, George H. Smith, John Horgan, Stephen Hawking, Lee Eisler, Clarence Darrow, Arthur Schopenhauer, Voltaire, Madlyn O’Hair, Jeremy Rifkin, H.L. Mencken, George Bernard Shaw, Lloyd Graham, Socrates, Noam Chomsky, Sam Harris, Dan Barker, Jean Meslier, Bishop John Shelby Spong, Hypatia, St. Augustine, Christopher Hitchens, Teodoro A. Agoncillo, Jose Rizal; and, indeed, many more such as Matthew, Luke, Mark, and John of the Holy bible who inspired in me to never be afraid to question authority as it always inspired by mediocrity, perpetually. Oh yes, there is nothing original in the works of authors. Except for mathematical logic, they all copy from each other as their various sources are inextricably mixed with other points of view. After all, there is no such thing as the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. It only looks new and fresh and logical; but it is not. For example, my own writings on atheism are mostly derived from what’s revealed in the holy bible as the bible, seriously read, has been and still is the most potent reason why we must all trust the simple fact that man's greatest of professions is the search of the truth as no truth, as yet, has ever been discovered! - Poch Suzara Google# Facebook# Twitter# Atheists# __._,_.___ Posted by: poch suzara

God as a Divine Monster

A God who tells Noah: TO HELL WITH LOVING YOUR NEIGHBORS. SAVE INSTEAD THE ANIMALS - is not a God but a divine monster. Never, will I ever believe, love, worship, and adore such a divine disgrace - the savior of animals, not the savior of the human race.

In the meantime, why should we listen and be afraid of such a God who tells us how
to raise our own children when He himself had drowned to death his own children? Poch

Jesus Christ - Our Savior

Jesus Christ said, "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive" (Math. 21:22). Each and every day, millions of believing Filipinos pray daily to God to "give us this day our daily bread," and to "lead us not into temptation." We also pray daily to "Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, amen." As we, however, continue to be spiritually fucked as a people and even more morally fucked as a nation - would it not be adding insult to injury if we were yet expected to blame ourselves for our daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly stupidity behind our childish religiosity faithfully since the 16th century? The Silly Fear of Death

“I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it.” ― Mark Twain “I believe that when I die I shall rot, and nothing of my ego will survive. I am not young and I love life. But I should scorn to shiver with terror at the thought of annihilation. Happiness is nonetheless true happiness because it must come to an end, nor do thought and love lose their value because they are not everlasting. Many a man has borne himself proudly on the scaffold; surely the same pride should teach us to think truly about man's place in the world. Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cosy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own." ― Bertrand Russell "If after my own death, I shall have to be with God in hell, or have to be with the Devil in heaven, or have to be with Jesus in Purgatory - no way, Jose. Over my dead body. I'd rather stay buried in the cemetery with my precious books forever and ever till the end of time and space. - Poch Suzara

Don't Be a Useless Believer; Be a Useful Thinker

Nothing is more dangerous than an idea when you only have one. - Alain Chantier If I may add, this is precisely what is wrong with our formative years in school: Do not think. Just believe. Never mind the beauty of fresh thought or the power of ideas; especially to challenge the lies and deceptions that keep us Filipinos spiritually poor as a people, and intellectually bankrupt as a nation. In the meantime, the search for new and fresh ideas under creativity is by far the noblest of all human activities. Poch Suzara

SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE

If you believe that there is a separation of Church and State in the Philippines, you might as well also believe in the existence of the separation between insanity and stupidity. As a matter of historical fact, the union of Church and State in the Philippines is just like a good Catholic marriage: what God has united, let no man put asunder,-till death do us part. Both the Church and State protect each other, the former with forgiveness of sins and the latter with tax exemption laws. The job of the State is to keep the people living in ignorance. The job of the Church is to keep the people living in fear. Combine the two horrors inextricably together and we have what is known as Christian values and beliefs more known as the government off, buy, and fool the people under the slogan that it is MORE FUN AND SAFE IN THE PHILIPPINES. Indeed, the separation of Church and State in the Philippines is more than just a farce and a fraud, but also a charade of lies, --a parade of deceptions. Look seriously at our senators as judges in the impeachment trial to dump the Chief Justice Renato Corona out of office for betrayal of public trust and culpable violation of the Constitution. They start the trial not as leaders of our country, but like sinners themselves with prayer to God for the forgiveness of their sins and crimes. The need for religion in the Philippines will end when we Filipinos in our schools are taught to be strong and sensible enough to govern ourselves not as religious fanatic Catholics or what-not, but as self-respecting Filipinos, i.e., who believe in the power of reason and not believe in words written long time ago, by ignorant men who did not know what we know today and in all probability were influenced by the barbarity of a primitive age. Meanwhile, our officials in the Philippine government and the church hierarchy have always enjoyed an illicit secret affair together. They have illegitimate children otherwise more popularly known as "politicians" of the State, and the "theologians" of the Church. Such "leaders" are never lively with intelligent power of ideas for growth and maturity. They are only deadly with the power of daily prayer producing nothing but an obnoxious odor in the air - the bad smell of the Philippines dying as the Sick Nation of Asia. Hypocrisy and indifference to truth make corruption acceptable as part of our national defects. It is sad to see our government officials in cahoots with church officials devote so much faith in increasing and justifying such traditional nonsense. I said it before, I say it again: our leaders drunk with power are destitute of wisdom, and so long as they enjoy the glory of popularity - our country will be devoid of sanity and beauty on the one hand; and, on the other hand, filled with more of the same old misery and poverty perpetually. In the meantime, while there is more creativity in diversity, there is nothing but stupid religiosity in uniformity. And what we have in our sick country is the sick uniformity even in the art of bribery. We have yet to see our way clear that the bribe-giver is no worse than the bribe-taker because there is always in between, the bribe-fixer! There is also the fun of vote-buying, vote-selling, and vote block fixing. Indeed, again, when it comes to the life of crime and sin, graft and corruption - IT IS MORE FUN AND SAFE IN THE PHILIPPINES. There is a tremendous need for the rehabilitation of our damaged nation. If we ever hope to succeed in our revolution against political illusion, against religious delusion, and against social confusion - we must first see to it that there is no more divine revelation at the foundation of our sick and corrupt system of education. No more Immaculate Misconception; no more public prayer transformation; no more revealed Truth that has never been revealed. We need only science and technology and the wonders of its lively evolution. Millions of Filipinos ask: is there hope for our country? My answer is Yes, but first we must allow the nation's youth to learn during their formative years in school to believe not in a weird foreigner more known as Jesus, our alleged savior, but rather to believe instead in living decent life inspired by love of country and guided by the power of knowledge. Indeed, to feel the pleasures of mental growth and positive material achievement, to live, to learn and to love,- happy, generous, and expansive; thoughtful when others are happy, and even more thoughtful when others are not. These beauties should be permanent fixtures in the hearts and minds of our nation's youth after they go through many years of education in our schools, colleges, and universities. In the ultimate analysis, if we can set aside intellectual cowardice against the courage of ideas, there is much more to hope for our country. Indeed, it is high time for us Filipinos to accept the challenge to work for ourselves as a people. After all, this world is the only world we have. The only world where we can, here and now, create a paradise for ourselves as thinking people happy and proud of our existence with self-respect and dignity not as frightened Catholics, but as brave citizens of our Republic. God is NOT all-knowing

GOD obviously did NOT know the past, the present, or the future. God had to test Adam and Eve because God did not know just exactly how Adam and Eve will pass or fail the silly test; that they may be found guilty or innocent of the Original Sin. As if, Adam or Eve ever originated anything to begin with. Too bad God did not also test the free will of the TALKING SERPENT; and to find out as well what sort of language it spoke. It must have been the sick language of the Sick Serpent of Asia - taglish. Poch Suzara

I don't Blame. but Thank God I am an Atheist

God inspired the Talking Serpent to bring down Adam and eve to be guilty of the Original Sin. The Talking Serpent's mission was a great success. Then God blamed Adam and Eve for being guilty of the Original Sin even if neither Adam nor Eve never originated anything in this world to begin with. For my part, I thank God, I thank the Talking Serpent, and I thank the Holy Bible lessons and messages, and I also thank a lot of you active members of this forum - you all make me proud and happy that I am an ATHEIST - indeed, I have no need for an invisible means of support. God Will Save me JOKE

There was a small village by a river. One day in monsoon the villagers noticed that the river was swelling and the village was about to be flooded. Everyone left the village for safe ground, except for one man. He said, 'I have faith in God. He will save me.' The water level began to rise. When it rose up to his knees a car passed by and offered to pick him up. The man refused. 'Save me God', he prayed. The car left. When the water level rose up to his waist a boat came by and offered to help him. Again the man refused. The boat left. Again the man prayed to God to save him. When the water level rose up to shoulders a helicopter came to rescue him. Again the man refused, and kept on praying feverishly to God. Finally, he drowned. When he reached his creator he said, 'I had complete faith in you. Why did you ignore my prayers and let me drown?' God replied,' Who do you think sent you the car, the boat and the helicopter?'

"No kidding God," the man should have replied: "Who created the FLOOD to begin with? Poch Suzara

Holy Bibul Divine Family BullShit

"And call no man your father on earth, for you have one father, who is in heaven." – Matthew 23.9 In other words, our fathers did not impregnate our mothers, but God fucked our mothers when our fathers were out of town. Filipinos Living and Working in foreign countries

Australia was founded 200 years ago by British convicts and heretics. Look at Australia today - one of the most progressive countries in the civilized world today. The Philippines was founded 400 years ago by Spanish friars all of them Catholics. Look at the Philippines today - the poorest spiritually, backward morally, and socially insane - country in all of Asia today. The ticklish part about this historical tidbit is the painful fact that tens of thousands of Filipinos have already migrated to Australia. They are enjoying in Australia a higher standard of living and indeed - thinking. And yet, these Filipinos are still in the habit of praying to God to "give us this day our daily bread, and to "lead us not into temptation." Also praying daily to Mary, Mother of God, to pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, amen." Thus, millions of Filipinos in the Philippines have absolutely nothing to learn from Filipinos living and working in Australia blessed with the power of human knowledge on how to achieve growth as a people, and maturity as a nation. I said it before, I say it again: if only Filipinos, living and working today in some 198 countries around the world would only learn the ways and means from such countries. Especially in matters of good government, culture, employment, work ethics, discipline, art of learning, system of education, health as a people, and wealth as nation, etc, and pass on such knowledge back home - the Philippines could sooner catch up in the race for human civilization, instead of just being still historically stuck in the rat-race for eternal salvation. In the meantime, for the glory of God up there, we Filipnos are active with FREE WILL than we are creative and productive with GOOD WILL for our country down here. Our productive factories are more into producing not goods, but babies. Indeed, we freely produce three babies every minute or 1.5 million babies yearly for the glory of God in our land. It also explains why poverty, not prosperity, generates the ways and means of our sick society endlessly inspired by both divinity and deviltry otherwise more known as the great success of Christianity in our God-forsaken country. The Bible written by Inspired Fishermen of God

"The most serious doubt that has been thrown on the authenticity of the biblical miracles is the fact that most of the witnesses in regard to them were fishermen.
- Arthur "Pitcher" Binstead

"In the Philippines, however, biblical miracles are all accepted as historically factual. Especially by college-educated Filipinos as products of Catholic education in La Salle, Ateneo, San Beda, Letran, UST, Assumption college, St. Scholastica, AIM, Miriam college, etc, etc; in fact, more than 1,000 of such schools, colleges, and universities own and operated by the Catholic church in this only Catholic country in Asia. The Jews are not Christians nor Catholics

He called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness. - Matthew 10:1

Unfortunately, the apostles of Jesus were NOT given the authority to convert God's own chosen people - the Jews - into becoming Christians or Catholics. Only the Filipinos to be converted in the Philippine to enjoy the drama as the Sick Man of Asia. Poch Suzara

Hey, Poch

Hey, Poch, it doesn't take much to reach someone who is in tune with you. The object of your benevolence can quickly understand the whole music you intend to sing at the very first note you strike, and he finishes the entire song in his head in cadence with your beat. Surprised? Yes, you would be. It was easy for the object to follow you. Why? Because, the song, unknown to your object's consciousness had been with his subconscious, already partially composed at the time you came to him. It most likely came to him like it did to you, because of similar exposure and experience, that is, you were both exposed to a similar environment - subjected to similar conditions in life and profession – culture, religion, schooling, needs, wants and aspirations. By responding in the most admirable responsible manner to my written note of concern, you did a great justice to yourself, and I bet you know it. Your message of understanding made you a lot bigger than I last read you. You quickly redeemed whatever you may have lost which was not much really, not as great as what a closed-minded Christian have already lost in his life. For sure, yes. [Huwag po sana magalit ang mga hindi closed-minded] You are right of course in saying how puny any damage you may have caused the forum compared to the damage wrought by the Catholic Church in its unchecked wayward hundred of years of keeping its flock "innocent" of the true ways of the faith, and making them "ignorant" of their real potentials for greatness as a "believing" and loyal people to their God. I have to agree to a large extend of these damages and very much reminded of it every time I pass the wretched barong barongs of our poor, seeing before me the people - skinny, dirty, ill clothed and poorly sheltered in patched up houses. Their state of health unmistakably tells me how little food they are able to eat. You certainly have an excellent ability to describe in words what evils and horrors you knew the Church had unknowingly or purposely done to its flock and you felt compelled by your kind conscience, learned early from your Christian teachers and parents, to sympathize and it drove you with reckless abandon to expose them in the hope that the rightful changes might be done soon before everything is lost - by primarily attacking the clergy and the unknowing, docile and passive people, urging them to wake up and see the world as you have seen them, and for the love of their Jesus and the strength of their faith make amends and do right! There is absolutely nothing wrong there. You could not stop yourself as courageous Rizal himself could not stop when he made his expose' in two agitating "conscience" stirring books that caused vindictive annoying thoughts and great shame to the Spanish Friars and Authorities who were the evil perpetrators then, and the objects of Rizal's wounded heart and his vicious deadly weapons – his pens. But like the passive Filipinos in Rizal’s time, whose minds were held captive by the powerful Church, the same attitude of passivity met your honorable intentions. This is largely because they are ignorant of your song, don’t know how to read the strange but authentic notes of awakening, of liberty, of the truly free; and if a few do, they robotically continued along the notes of old familiar music that give them much ease, comfort, peace and no sore throat. The new, strange and unknown music scare our people of the faith. It is not a mystery why if we know how they were indoctrinated. The indoctrination helps very well in keeping the flock from wandering into new, strange and unknown territories. This is precisely why you and Rizal had experienced a lot of resistance in your quest to educate and persuade.

In Rizal’s case, he was smart enough to know from experience of the insurmountable quest in the time frame he envisioned a successful revolution. He knew the date of the proposed revolution wasn’t his reckoned time, so he turned down the invitations for him to join the revolution. I, too, could not wholeheartedly join your cause, no matter how much I am convinced that the Church has to change rabbit fast instead of turtle fast that we see it move in what we think is the new and more progressive directions. Even those who pride themselves to be learned, highly “educated” daw sila dahil nga may mga diploma, may masters at PhDs. Pero asaan naman nila naipasok ang mga ito – loyalty, love of country, patriotism, nationalism, subsidiarity, love for neighbors, community involvement, solidarity, etc,, na siyang dapat matutuhan at gawin ng responsibling taong bayan? How were the desire to build a great nation taught and inculcated? Ah, was it ever taught? You, my dear friend, Poch, by your dedication and will to help re-educate our Christian people, is not only in the right frame of mind, in the right track, but most of all, by your act you are showing everyone what a truly educated Filipino is all about. Forget the once in a while silakbo, it’s not an everyday happening. Besides,It is something that sticks for long until old age in many because we were wrongly educated to know, learn and apply it from the INFORMAL education of experience – exposing the young mind to people around them with this highly catching SILAKBO disease/syndrome. What more unwanted traits did we catch that stick like glue until our senior age? You do well my friend, even if you are misunderstood. When I say misunderstood it does not mean referring to you as a failure. It only means you have it in you to succeed once you explore different tact. It does not mean that you will always be a failure. The next time around should be more telling as a success story. It is a different ball game we are in now, at our age. It calls for accepting that the background has radically changed and understanding the need to go with the change. Often we find ourselves irritated when we realize that we need to find new ways to do our usual tasks and unable to find them. Hindi katulad ng dati. We are fortunate that we have freed our minds because we are quick to adapt. Pity those closed minds who have shut them to your fine music because they’ll find it much harder to adapt. They failed to understand that you are only trying your best to make it easy for them to adapt to the ever changing world, they who, at this time, know only to outright reject you. Frankly, I feel this new world of ours awaits another Christ to make a large dent of a change. I don’t mean the Christ who promised to return 2012 years ago. The new Christ must be able to sing a new song, one that no one has heard of yet but one that has been sought and waited for a long time now and have been etched well into our subconscious. When he comes, you and I may find it easy to understand and we will sing his song in chorus. But what of the others? The question speaks clearly of our love for our neighbors, eh, Poch? Take care, pal Ogie

Lies are far more Damaging than Vulgar Language

"If a man would follow, today, the teachings of the Old Testament, would be a criminal. If he would follow strictly the teachings of the New, he would be insane." - Robert Ingersoll Another word for "insane" is to feel blessed by God as we are THE SICK MAN OF ASIA - the frightened men and women - products of schools, colleges, and universities own and operated by the Catholic church in the Philippines. Such frightened men and women are more horrified by harmless "vulgar language" than they should be more terrified by harmful "vulgar beliefs and vulgar values" keeping us Filipinos intellectually poor and spiritually sick as a people and morally sick and economically bankrupt as a nation. Consider in this already 21st century. We Filipinos are still taught to believe that among the countries of Asia, the Philippines has been and still is the one and only country in Asia that's always been BLESSED WITH CHRISTIAN VALUES AND BELIEFS by God and his angels in heaven through the disciples of Christ our Lord down here on earth. Thanks for writing. I much appreciate your thoughts! One thing I should get credit for in this forum - I never lied to any of you! Poch Suzara

God and His One and Only Son Jesus Christ

“The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully. ― Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion

If I may add, in our schools, colleges, and universities, we were all educated to believe that such a God had also one begotten Son more known as Jesus Christ - our Savior. The Savior of the world. - Poch Suzara

Lee Kuan Yew - Leader and an Atheist

Lee Kwan Yew - the Prime Minister who changed Singapore from poverty to prosperity. He was not born-raised-educated as a Christian. In fact, he was an atheist and a radical non-believer of the faith. He was never inspired by the Word of God as written in the holy bible. Yet with sheer guts, intelligence, and discipline, he was able to transform Singapore from a hell of a place into an Asian paradise blessed with
higher standard of living and indeed, thinking.

How come our own Philippine government officials, who are all born-raised-educated as Catholics or as Christians, all inspired by God, are all good, unfortunately, only good for nothing? Specially when it comes to growth as a people and maturity as a nation?

In the meantime, the Singaporean youth, in their formative years, are all enjoying the benefits of scientific creativity in their schools, colleges, and universities. Indeed, they are learning to enhance the benefits of science and technology. In order to bring forth more creativity of prosperity into their social and economic reality in Asia.

Could the Philippines ever catch up stuck with its culture of corruption, the culture of praying and believing with Singapore? A city-State way ahead due to its culture of high standard of living as the result of hard learning, hard working, and hard thinking? Poch Suzara

We are all Made of Dust

Nobody is perfect; but however scientifically well-informed many of us have become, the creationists would still insists that we all came from dust and unto dust we shall all return. But really, if the Creator made man in his own image and likeness, it follows that the Creator too is made of dust. Now, isn’t it rather silly to pray to a Creator who is made of dust to save our silly souls that’s made of dust too? Poch Suzara

Aimless as a People and Rudderless as a Nation

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 Philippine Star, April 3, 2012

Teach this bible message to millions upon millions of Filipinos in schools, colleges, and universities and it become easy to understand why we Filipinos are aimless as a people and why the Philippines is rudderless as a nation. Poch Suzara

There is No Christianity. Only Christianities

Ironically, the truth behind the REVEALED TRUTH has yet to be REVEALED. Otherwise, why are there hundreds of thousand sects of Christianity misunderstanding and fighting and hating each other over what is the true nature of the revealed truth? In the meantime, where is the Universal God who has yet to reveal, for the whole of mankind, one universal religion to hold and embrace and have faith in peacefully and harmoniously? It is glaringly obvious, if not alarmingly translucent that not all of the bible scholars were inspired by the same Holy Spirit; for, if they were, they would all belong as members of the same church today. Throughout the world, there are more than 100,000 different sects of Christianity each hating the other due to, if not because of, the failure to mutually understand bible messages. The great religions of the world, especially Christianity, Judaism, and Islam have enemies. No, not only the animosity of one against the other. The enemy is religion itself. This is due to faith in a local divinity for the sake of spreading religious stupidity globally. To think that after all of these past thousands of years with God here, and God there, and God everywhere - the world today is still in a spiritual mess, still in a moral mess, and still in a religious mess - due to fear here, ignorance there, and the Unrevealed Truth on the march everywhere. Take a good look at Christianity. There is no such religion existing known as Christianity, only CHRISTIANITIES. Indeed, overshadowing the minor protestant religions - Lutheran, Evangelical, Anglican, Methodist, Presbyterian, Baptist, Pentecostal, Mormon, Adventists, Unitarian, Episcopalian, Iglesia Ni Cristo, el Shaddai, Dating Daan, Jesus is Lord Movement, Tamang Daan, Iglesia de Pocholo, Iglesia de Rangus at si Flangus, etc. etc. is the major religion known as the Catholic religion. In Northern Ireland, the Catholics and the Protestants have not ceased hating and fighting each other since the 14th century. And to think that Jesus, the Son of God, the Savior of the world, was to have fixed the troubles of our world during his first coming. Now we are told he will soon return to complete and accomplish the mission with His Second Coming. - Poch Suzara Google# Facebook# Twitter# Atheists#

Jesus last Words on the Cross

"Jesus' last words on the cross, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" hardly seem like the words of a Savior who planned to save the world, specially save Filipinos in the Philippines - the Sick Man of Asia.

It doesn't take a poch Suzara to figure out there is something fishy here. Considering Jesus died in a foreign country 2,000 years ago, and then resurrected from death - proceeded to go to heaven and nobody, but nobody has seen or heard directly from Him even since. Poch Suzara
