Living For the Lord
Living for the Lord leaves a lasting legacy. Yes, it certainly does. Thanks to our deep faith in Christian values and beliefs, our daily stupidity is now as everlasting as eternity. Poch Suzara
God Uses Our Difficulties
God uses our difficulties to develop our character. If this were true then those people in heaven with no difficulties have no character; and those people in hell suffering with difficulties have developed their character. Poch Suzara
Every Temptation
Every temptation is not only an opportunity to trust God; it is also an opportunity to be grateful God for answering our daily prayer to "lead us not into temptation." Poch Suzara
Happy With Ignorance
Most people are happy with their ignorance as ignorance provides them with some sort of stability; and if they learn anything new, it would only give them a sense of insecurity. They might even begin to doubt if there is anything wrong with human stupidity. Poch Suzara
Accomplish Together
It is true we can accomplish more together. Not, however, if we were a bunch of college graduates of De La Salle University. Never has there ever been a bunch of dumbstruck morons utterly useless together. These men are a pathetic lot. If they were not waiting for the Second Coming of Christ; they are too pre-occupied with their sense of sin to the Almighty God. Poch Suzara
My Atheism
When I was a teen-ager, my atheism was attributed to youthful immaturity. When I got to be a man, my atheism was attributed to being frustrated of daily routine and bitterness of failure. When I got to be older, my atheism was attributed to being lonely, disillusioned, and unloved. In fact, down thru the years, my atheism was attributed to my being a mentally sick person. Really, a laughable attempt to evade the question of the proofs of God's existence. There are none as yet found. Otherwise, if God's existence were real, what is even more real is that God has not ceased hiding away from us atheists, specially from an atheist like me. Poch Suzara

We Have No Government
We Filipinos have no government of the people, by the people, and for the people. We only have a government for the government officials and government employees. At any rate, what we really do have in the Philippines is a God who stands by us in all our troubes and disputes. At least that's what we were taught to believe when we were a bunch of gullible little children in school. Poch Suzara
The Filipno Politician
The Filipino politician is just like God - always making promises that are never delivered. At least the Filipino politician has an excuse for his failures. He is not all-powerful, not all-knowing. He is just a typical dumbstruck moron. But for heaven's sakes, what is God's excuse for his failures to deliver his daily promises? Poch Suzara

Thw Greatest Study
The greatest study is the study not of God, butthe study of nature. Nature is beyond good and evil. It is neither friendly nor unfriendly; but it can be made very friendly as we are studying something. Sadly, the study of God is the study of nothing. Poch Suzara
Human Knowledge
Human knowledge has become so vast. The sciences have taken complete control in discovering new and fresh knowledge. The poor theologians, confused and impoverished as ever, are left behind still holding on to a bag filled with nothing but religious absurdities and other ancient superstitions. Poch Suzara
Our Ancestors
Our ancestors are neither dead nor gone. They are all around us alive and kicking and still involved in the struggle for survival. The sciences have discovered them more than a century ago. They are called MICROBES, FISH, MICE, and ARBOREAL APES. Poch Suzara
If God Had Spoken
If God had spoken, how come He had spoken differently to different believers in different language who have not ceased accusing each other of different lies and superstitions? If the truth has been revealed, it was revealed to whom by which God? The God of the Jews? The God of the Christians? Or the God Allah of the Muslims? Poch Suzara
The Catholic Saint
It has been cleverly observed by a Catholic saint that the whole of Christianity may be summed up in the action of two men: Adam and Jesus. One responsible for our damnation; the other responsible for our salvation. Unfortunately, what that Catholic saint failed to observed was Christianity's shaky foundation due to the existence of the devil centuries before Adam and Jesus existed. St. Augustine, the Catholic saint referred to here, may have been a soothsayer; but he was not, by any standard, by any measure, a truthteller. Poch Suzara
We Are Told
We are now told that religions are all false except one: The religion of the heart. This, however, is bunkum. It is like saying that all superstitions are false except one: - the superstition of the heart. This is more hokum. Poch Suzara
I Refuse To believe
I refuse to believe in an All-knowing and all-mighty God who required the sacrifice of his only begotten Son to die on the cross over something in order to accomplish for the world absolutely nothing. Poch Suzara
I Was Once a Catholic
I was once a devout Catholic and I always found myself then saying this prayer: "Oh, God, please forgive me. I did not mean to think bad thoughts today." After years of this kind of sacred nonsense, I decided to give up praying and developed instead the habit of thinking more and more each day. Much to my suprised, thinking turn out to be a joy and a thrill. It turned out indeed that there is nothing quite like it in all of nature. Poch Suzara
If There is a God
If there is a God, I envy Him. He lives much in solitary. He does not have to mingle with sick people in a sick society highly inspired with sick beliefs of the sick unknown and the sick mysteries of a sick religion. Poch Suzara
If The Filipino
If the Filipino were happy with God's style of administration and duly satisfied with God's economic policy, prayer rallies could have been rendered utterly needless, if not useless, decades ago in this only Christian country in Asia. Poch Suzara
The Filipino Mind
The Filipino mind just like the potential of any other human mind. Sadly, the Filipino mind has been severely damaged via a system of education that taught him to believe that his unthinking soul is far more valuable to God than his thinking mind. Poch Suzara
We Filipinos
It is turning out that we Filipinos have no identity crisis after all. We are notoriously popular throughout the world the Sick Man of Asia. Poch Suzara
