The Kingdom of God

Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:21. . . Well, I say, if the kingdom of God is within you, why bother to go to heaven? Isn't it silly enough that everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die? And what is even sillier is that nobody knows, not even the theologians know where heaven is located; not to mention how do any of us travel to heaven after we are dead? . . . The Silliest of Men

The silliest of men are those who know absolutely nothing about the existence of God and yet they are among the first to get angry at those who do not believe what they know not what they are talking about, viz; the existence of God. Even my parents at home and my teachers in school were guilty of such childish nonsense! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Freedom of Simple Information

The freedom of information is precious; but the freedom to correct false information is more precious. Indeed, what's even far more precious is to simplify what's complicated, and not complicate the simple. In the ultimate analysis a man of dignity and self-respect is the man who loves not silly revelation, but scientific information. . . And here's the insanity behind scientific information: it is always subject to change or emendation as the need arises due to new evidences. Poch Suzara twitter# Facebook# Google#

Oh God, My Dear God, is it hard for you to Sing this great Song

If I ruled the world, every day would be the first day of spring Every heart would have a new song to sing And we'd sing of the joy every morning would bring If I ruled the world, every man would be as free as a bird Every voice would be a voice to be heard Take my word we would treasure each day that occurred My world would be a beautiful place Where we would weave such wonderful dreams My world would wear a smile on its face Like the man in the moon has when the moon beams If I ruled the world every man would say the world was his friend There'd be happiness that no man could end No my friend, not if I ruled the world Every head would be held up high There'd be sunshine in everyone's sky If the day ever dawned when I ruled the world Wow God, centuries go you sang this great song and you still are singing this same old rotten song in this century:" I form the light and create darkness: I make peace and create evil: I the Lord do these things." - Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Thought to Provoke Your Thought on my Coming Death

“I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it.” --- Mark Twain... Me too, I do not fear death. Billions of years before I was born, I was happy and peaceful existing as a nothing. I did not then have anything to do with a sick God in hell or in heaven who promised me that If I obeyed his commandments I will be saved to enjoy eternal salvation later after death in his kingdom!. . . In the meantime, there is no such thing as life after death. Even the bible says so. Please read:"The dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward for the memory of them is forgotten." Eccl. 9:5... In the meantime, the whole root of our troubles in life is that we have needlessly sacrificed all the beauty of our lives by incarcerating ourselves with totems, taboos, crosses, blood sacrifices, beliefs, values, steeples, mosques, races, armies, flags, nations, in order to deny the fact of death, which is the only fact we have... For my part, both as a Filipino and an American citizen, I have settled the sick issue with one simple blow - I have learned to live not by kneeling down, but by standing up... That there is more to life than just stupid believing... There is something more precious - intelligent thinking. Especially to put more beauty into this world where nature has put only horrors... To leave this world a better place that how we found it; not necessarily in the material, but in the humanitarian - sense!. . . And in the degree where we can all be great that is the business of each and everyone of us!... Indeed, what is a man, what has he got, if not himself, then he has not, to say the things he truly feels, and not the words of one who kneels, let the record show, I took the blows, and did it MY WAY! Winning the Presidency is 99% Prayer

"Winning the PRESIDENCY is 99% prayer." VP JEJOMAR BINAY . . . I said it before, I say it again: none of our past president was an atheist. they all believed and had faith in God. Jose Rizal and Pope Leo X111

"The death sentence is a necessary and efficacious means for the Church to attain its ends when rebels against it disturb the ecclesiastical unity, especially obstinate heretics who cannot be restrained by any other penalty from continuing to disturb ecclesiastical order.". . . Pope Leo X111 ( 1878-1903
My Dear Jose Rizal, wherever you are, we the Filipino heretics, atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, humanists, secularists, and unbelievers of the faith - we all love you. We all respect and admire you, and we all miss you. . . Thank you sir for playing a seminal role in disturbing the ecclesiastical order in the Philippines! If only schools, colleges, and universities in our country have been teaching the truth about you as being the greatest Filipino freethinker ever, millions of Filipinos today need no longer be living under the authority of ecclesiastical order! The Power of Prayer Not to Heal but to Kill

"In the Middle Ages, when there was an epidemic, people crowded into churches to pray, thinking that their piety would move God to take pity on them; in fact the crowd in ill-ventilated building provided ideal conditions for the spread of the infection... Bertrand Russell... In the Philippines, the most destructive typhoon Yolanda in the Eastern Visaya destroyed billions of pesos worth in farm land, properties, and assets such as homes, hotels, schools, commercial and residential buildings, hospitals, roads and bridges, and also the death of thousands of innocent Filipinos. Quite a lot of them, as inspired by the power of prayer, went inside damaged or ruined churches to pray for deliverance. Instead, they experienced the activated horrors of nature in their respective provinces
as willed by God's divine plan. . . - Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

All Thinking Men and Women are Atheists

All thinking men and women are atheists. If you are always afraid to think, the most that you can be, in this world, is to be a mindless sap, if not a thoughtless jerk, or worst, a frightened follower. Most of my teachers in La Salle grade school and high school were, sadly, not intelligent thinkers; they were sick believers! Even more sadly, they were not genuine teachers. They were lowly-paid employees pretending to be teachers earning a living! Teachers are the promoters of civilization, not the custodians of revelation! I expelled myself out of La Salle because I did not care to be a sick believer. I wanted to be a healthy thinker by being an avid reader, especially of banned books! God in the Philippines

God is the immemorial refuge of the incompetent, the helpless, the miserable. They find not only sanctuary in His arms, but also a kind of superiority, soothing to their macerated egos: He will set them above their betters. . . H. L. Mencken. . . Religion and Politics as the Greatest Producers of Criminals in this World

The richest, most powerful, and influential criminals in the world come from sick religion and from sick politics. Both have always been and still are in cahoots together. They mutually keep their followers under them ignorant at best; frightened at worst. Living the fear of Life is Man's greatest of tragedies

Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Watch your words, for they become actions. Watch your actions, for they become habits. Watch your habits, for they become character. Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny. . . Nick Fatool Oh my dear Nick Fatool, I have no fear of either life or death. I am an atheist and therefore, rightly or wrongly, I am in control of my own destiny... It has more to do with my hopes of leaving this world one day as a better place than I found it; not necessarily in the material, but in the humanitarian, - sense. In other words, after death, I do not care to meet with God in HELL... I do not care to meet the devil in HEAVEN... I also do not care to meet Jesus together with his disciples, apostles, followers, and believers in PURGATORY... After my death, I look forward to existing peacefully again as a NOTHING. Just exactly like the way I existed peacefully for millions of years as a nothing before birth... In the meantime, it is truly sad and pathetic... A lot of my friends, relatives, associates, classmates, and schoolmates have already died on this earth... The problem is that they have NOT yet been buried. They still pretend to be alive; specially by praying daily to Jesus to forgive them of their sins and crimes while we, as Filipinos, are only getting more sick aimless as a people, and the Philippines is only getting rudderles going no where as a nation! H. L. Mencken on Religious Beliefs

H. L. Mencken’s Religious Beliefs As for religion, I am quite devoid of it. Never, in my adult life, have I experienced anything that could be plausibly called a religious impulse. My father and grandfather were agnostics before me and, although I was sent to Sunday School as a boy and exposed to the Christian theology, I was never taught to believe it. My father thought that I should learn what it was, but it apparently never occurred to him that I would accept it. He was a good psychologist. What I got in Sunday School – beside a wide acquaintance with Christian hymnology – was, simply, a firm conviction that the Christian faith was full of palpable absurdities, and the Christian god preposterous. Since that time, I have read a great deal in theology – perhaps much more than the average clergyman – but I have never discovered any reason to change my mind. The act of worship, as carried on by Christians, seems, to me, to be debasing rather than ennobling. It involves grovelling before a Deity who, if He really exists, deserves to be denounced instead of respected. I see little evidence, in this world, of the so-called goodness of God. On the contrary, it seems to me that, on the strength of His daily acts, He must be set down a most cruel, stupid, and villainous fellow. I can say this with a clear conscience, for He has treated me very well – in fact, with vast politeness. But, I can’t help thinking of His barbaric torture of most of the rest of humanity. I simply can’t imagine revering the God of war and politics, theology and cancer. I do not believe in immortality and have no desire for it. The belief in it issues from the puerile egos of inferior men. In its Christian form, it is little more than a device for getting revenge upon those who are having a better time on this earth. What the meaning of human life may be, I don’t know: I incline to suspect that it has none. All I know about it is that, to me at least, it is very amusing, while it lasts. Even its troubles, indeed, can be amusing. Moreover, they tend to foster the human qualities that I admire most – courage, and its analogues. The noblest man, I think, is that one who fights God and triumphs over Him. I have had little of this to do. When I die, I shall be content to vanish into nothingness. No show, however good, could conceivably be good forever. – an extract from a letter H. L. Mencken wrote to Will Durant in 1931. The letter was published in On the Meaning of Life, edited by Will Durant (New York: Ray Long and Richard R. Smith, 1932). In 1931, Will Durant asked various public figures to contribute their opinions on the meaning of life, as they understood it. Their responses were published in the volume documented above. H. L. Mencken (1880-1956) was a journalist, literary and social critic, and author. Will Durant (1885-1981) was a historian of Western Civilization and author... Poch Suzara

The Merger of the Evils of Communism and the Evil of Capitalism in China

The way to combat Communism is not war. What is needed in addition to such armaments as will deter Communists from attacking the West, is a diminution of the grounds for discontent in the less prosperous parts of the non-communist world. Communism is a doctrine bred of poverty, hatred and strife. Its spread can only be arrested by diminishing the area of poverty and hatred. . . . Bertrand Russell, Portraits From Memory And Other Essays, 1952. . . Oh my dear Bertrand Russell, surprisingly, Communism has been arrested due to, if not because of the guts and gumption, indeed, the rarity of human intelligence shown by the Chinese thinking government leadership: they managed to perform the greatest miracle in the world ever: they merged the evils of communism and the evils of capitalism together. China is the richest and most powerful economy in the world today. Almost 90 per cent of products consume by the whole wide world today is made in China! Filipinos can Never Afford to be Atheists

The Filipinos will never reject God or will ever deny His existence. Not in a million years. We Filipinos need God to forgive us of our sins and our crimes. A Life of Fear versus a Life of Courage

The idea of life in general in the Philippines as we are products of schools, colleges, and universities is to live a life of fear. Show to your friends, relatives, and associates that you would rather live a life of courage is something of a scandal, a horror, or a sin against God... Indeed, one of the greatest joys in life is to think what most people say you should never think about. Jesus was Not a catholic nor His Apostles were Christians

When Jesus called his 12 apostles together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. Luke 9:1. . . Also, Jesus commissioned his disciples to "make disciples of all nation." Matt. 28:29. . . So how come the land where Jesus was born is still today not a catholic nor a Christian country? It is still a Jewish State. Indeed, I further asked: how come in the whole of Asia, only the Philippines got to be converted by the apostles of Jesus to be the only Catholic country in Asia, but not all Filipinos got be baptized Catholics. Anything you do in this life in this world, enjoy it. Be happy; especially by making others also happy. In the end, no matter what you do or do not do, it will turn out to wrong anyway. No one can escape the law of birth, growth, death, and decay?...One must be a sort of a clown to believe that just because there is suffering in this life, there must be a better life to come after death. At that time the Lord said to Joshua, “Make flint knives and circumcise the Israelites again.”... So Joshua made flint knives and circumcised the Israelites at Gibeath Haaraloth... Now this is why he did so: All those who came out of Egypt—all the men of military age—died in the wilderness on the way after leaving Egypt... All the people that came out had been circumcised, but all the people born in the wilderness during the journey from Egypt had not... The Israelites had moved about in the wilderness forty years until all the men who were of military age when they left Egypt had died, since they had not obeyed the Lord... For the Lord had sworn to them that they would not see the land he had solemnly promised their ancestors to give us, a land flowing with milk and honey... So he raised up their sons in their place, and these were the ones Joshua circumcised... They were still uncircumcised because they had not been circumcised on the way...
