Dear Ms. Patricia Anne Cortez

Dear Editor, I Enjoyed reading the letter of Ms. Patricia Anne Cortez published in MANILA STANDARD TODAY. She is totally right about the value of education. It is, indeed, the best way to deal with our growing population. I should think, however, that the first education should be purely negative. It should consist not in the teachings religious lies and other sacred falsehoods; on the contrary, education should be about developing the mind from error and cultivating the heart from vice. In the meantime, the Church could not care less about the quality of life. For the sake of saving souls, what’s essential to the Church is the quantity of life. The more souls there are to be saved, the business is better for the Church. Thus, the evils of family planning and birth control practice – the only way the Church stays in business for wealth, power, and glory. Yes, abortion is evil. Besides, it is no thrill to kill a baby inside the mother’s womb. It’s called murder; and murder is a crime. What’s more thrilling, however, is to let the babies be conceived, let them be born, let them grow up a bit, give them a fighting chance, and then kill them. Kill them with malnutrition, filthy surroundings, parental neglect, diseases, or asphyxia from vehicular soot and lead. Indeed, many of the nation’s poor children play, trade, sell, eat and sleep, pee and poo, and God knows what else they do – in the streets of our major cities. What’s our purpose in being so overly concerned with babies not yet existing, and at the same time be stupidly apathetic with children already existing but also already dying? Isn’t this the height of religious hypocrisy? If we do not abandon our children in the streets, we abandon them in school. There, for the most part, they are taught not how to stand up to needs of the human race, but only how to kneel down to divine grace. How to seek a life of piety by ignoring knowledge and wisdom that should help carry on a decent and a healthy society. Indeed, for the most part, they only learn how to love divine grace by hating the human race. Sincerely, Poch Suzara Bertrand Russell Society, Phil P.O. Box 3036, Makati City c.c. The Holy Bullcrap as Revealed Truth in the holy Bible

"The Bible is the Christian's blueprint for life." Phil Star, May 9 2014. I said it before, I say it again: If the Christians would only bother to read fearlessly the bible from cover to cover, then Christianity would have died centuries ago. Please check for yourselves bible contents as the most damnatory biography of God in print everywhere. Too bad the Son of God Jesus has not yet made His Second Coming to make the necessary corrections the inspired authors recklessly wrote in the bible. For one thing the bible is filled with contradictions, inconsistencies, absurdities, vulgarities, obscenities, and atrocities. Take a look at a few verses, then take a closer look around you: Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. Luke 9:1 Verily, say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed… nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matt. 17:20 Neither of these religious primitives were kind enough to share with the world their secret on how to cure diseases, like a Dr. Jonas Salk for example. He virtually wiped out leprosy in children the world over with his anti-polio vaccine. Jesus himself cured leprosy but only during his lifetime and only in his community. Leprosy is still a disease in our world today. What kind of silly doctors were these people considering they had so-called supernatural assistance? The least Jesus could have done was to make not diseases, but health contagious for every man, woman, and child everywhere in the world. "And Jesus Christ said to them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the Kingdom of God come with power." Mark 9:1 In front row of course will be the Filipinos who have enrolled in bible studies in the Philippines such as the ones given endlessly on TV by Bro. El Soriano of Dating Daan - a bible preacher who never knows what in hell he is talking about. The bible says: “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16. Unfortunately, the same bible also admits: “There is none righteous, no, not one.” Rom. 3:10 Now it is claimed that we must only attend bible study and not read the bible by ourselves? As if the bible were the private word of inspired authors; and not the public word of God for everyone. Please read: Luke 14:33 , Luke 19:27, Luke 14:26, Matt 10:34-37, Matt. 8:21-22, Matt 19:29, Mark 10:20-30, Mark 13:12, Luke 12:51-53 And then please explain how Jesus could be such a lovable character? Such a Savior? On the one hand, Jesus said: “Blessed are the Peacemakers.” Then He comes around proudly proclaiming that: “I came not to bring peace, but a sword, and to set families against themselves.” And there is more. Much more to prove that the bible in fact is not the word of divinity; it is not even the word of deviltry - but the word of frightened superstitious primitives soaked with too much infantile stupidity inextricably mixed with religious insanity. Silly Believers

Silly believers believe that I am very silly man because I do not believe in the existence of their God. Indeed, these silly believers have been schooled to fear God and to fear the unknown including the mysteries. It’s the main reason why silly believers are mindless, if not heartless - living a life that is not only meaningless, not only aimless, but for this earth I dare say, - even purposeless. Poch Suzara

If Atheism were a Religion

If atheism were a religion, then health is a disease. Consider the 138 billion hours a year spent on prayers, and God has yet to cure the pimples on the faces of teen-age boys and girls. In fact, atheism has no belief system. It is not what I do believe; on the contrary, atheism is what you do not believe. Poch Suzara

How Reliable

How reliable are such proofs of the story of Jesus’ miraculous birth, or the report of his miracles making the blind see, the deft hear, the lame walk, cured leprosy, changed water into wine, or even to raise the dead back to life? Where are the support of the facts that Jesus was even an historical person? Indeed, if Jesus was real person, why didn’t the ancient Jews know of him? All ancient Jewish literature yields no evidence of any historical Jesus. In fact, the ancient Jews never even heard of the town of Nazareth. Poch Suzara

God’s First Command

“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Who created those gods? Where in hell did they come from? Why were they other Gods existing to begin with? Poch Suzara

The Statue of Liberty

These are the great words inscribed at the base of the Statue of Liberty: “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breath free air, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore, Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door.” Great words indeed; except for the poor and homeless American Indians – the unfinished business of the United States government since more than 200 years ago. Poch Suzara

Happy Filipino Society

There exist far more private Security Guards doing their job at protecting assets and properties of the commercial enterprises in our country than there are Policemen and NBI agents combined doing their job at protecting the lives of millions of Filipinos in the Philippines. Under this reality, the morons at CNN say that the Filipinos are a happy people. Indeed, the media, whether local or foreign are more in tune with programs that are marketable - what will sell, not what is true. In other words, entertainment first; never mind truthful information or a healthy system of education, or for that matter - never mind mental sanitation. Poch Suzara

What does it really Matter

What does it really matter if people do believe or disbelieve in God? Look at the more than 100,000,000,000 people who already lived and died on this earth. God never gave a hoot whether those people died rich or poor; died young or old; died sane or insane; or, hated and killed each other in wars declared in His name on earth or for His glory in heaven! Poch Suzara

What God decides

If it were true that what God decides to do with the souls of men were none of man’s business, then where is man’s precious free will to decide anything of value or importance for himself? Poch Suzara

It is Incredible

It is incredible, indeed, how God is suppose to be present here, always present there, and always present everywhere and yet, nobody has yet seen God anywhere. Moreover, if it is true that God is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent why did we have to build monuments to human stupidity otherwise known as churches and cathedrals? Poch Suzara

A Filipino Saint

After 500 years of Christianity, no Filipino has yet achieved sainthood for doing God’s work in Philippine soil. But we do have a Lorenzo Ruiz canonized recently as a saint for doing God’s work in Japan some 200 years ago. He was executed by the Japanese authority for doing God’s work in Japan. And to think that up to today the Japanese still do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Poch Suzara

World Peace

As long as there is to be made hugh profits in the manufacturing, selling, trading, importing or exporting of weapons from the arms industry by governments to settle disputes between nations - peace on earth and goodwill to all men will never become a reality. Not in a million years. Indeed, if you want war, prepare for war! However, if you want peace, prepare for peace! Poch Suzara

Philippine Democracy

After more than 60 years of democracy in this country, we have yet to lessen its vices, and bring out its natural advantages. We have already perceived the evils of democracy, yet we are still ignorant of the larger benefits it may bring. How has this been impossible? Very easy! On top of our democracy has always been a theocracy. On top of our politicians are the theologians with the wealth, power, and glory to determine who amongst our stupid politicians will go to heaven and who will end up in Purgatory. Imagine men and women of this country, with college education, in this 21st century, still believing the claims of ancient superstition from the religious morons. Poch Suzara

It’s a Good Thing

It’s a good thing God failed to break His own record at Tsunami Disaster in South Asia last December, 2004. After all, more people were drowned throughout the world during Noah’s Flood according to the bible. And to think that millions of innocent men, women, and children gifted with a free will from God had no free choice to escape away from the mass extinction by drowning. Poch Suzara

The Apostle Paul

The apostle Paul’s dictum: “Servant, be obedient to your master.” In the Philippines, in order to avoid eternal punishment in hell, we must be obedient to our master - the men of the priesthood industry. For God’s sake, even the average Filipina with an average intelligence must cater to, if not always obey, the pronouncements of the silly priests still in control of this only Christian country in Asia. Poch Suzara

One Nation Under God

America encompasses every religious group in the world including Buddhists, Shintoists, Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Confucians, Lutherans, Baptists, Catholics and others. In fact, there are over 1,350 denominations and sects. If America were one nation under God, which God? Poch Suzara

Why do I remain an atheist

If I were to take seriously the believers of God’s existence, they must elucidate, not only what they claim to know, but explain exactly how they arrived at their knowledge. If they did not acquire knowledge through their senses, by what other means, if any, did they acquire it? The burden of explanation lies with them. If they uphold their beliefs in the absence of rational grounds, then they are dogmatists, not atheists. We atheists do not care to believe, but we want to know. If explanations are not forthcoming, as an atheist I will remain an atheist proud of the ultimate of freedom: the freedom of thought. Meanwhile, the goal of atheism is to promote precisely that ultimate freedom of honest thinking. Poch Suzara

Laws in the Philippines

There are two separate laws in the Philippines: the law of God and the law of man. Even Filipino lawyers believe that the law of man should be under the law of God. And to think these brilliant lawyers have been highly trained in law school to be experts in the art of cross examination. Poch Suzara

Jesus and Jose Rizal and the Sick Man of Asia

In the Philippines Lenten Season is that time of the year when the faithful multitudes are not allowed to eat meat on Fridays. What is encouraged, if not inspired however, is to live like pigs, behave like chickens, and to think like cows during the rest of the year.

After all, The Lent season (40 days) is the preparation with prayers and fasting for the commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus in a foreign land some 2,000 years ago.

Well, the Christmas season in the Philippines is that time of the year (5 months, from October to December to January of the New Year as the colorful celebration of the birth of Christ.

As for our national hero Jose Rizal, only a handful Filipino intellectuals celebrate his birth anniversary June 19, 1861 with sincere nationalism, and commemorate his death anniversary December 30, 1896 with much horrors in thought against Catholicism - the killer of our national hero.

In the ultimate analysis, millions upon millions of Filipinos - the Jesus-freaks of this only Catholic country in Asia deny vehemently that they are NOT among the Sick Man of Asia. Poch Suzara

Terrorism

Terrorism is not a country or a thing but – a method to make war – a technique. Who then has declared war against the greatest of basic terror: – the shocking of the minds of innocent children taught in school to believe in sacred lies and other superstitious nonsense? Indeed, the worst of terrorists are not half as immorally insane as those who, in God’s name, continue to terrorize the minds of boys and the hearts of girls in schools taught to embrace sacred lies and other falsehoods. Poch Suzara

Christianity

“With the exception of pure mathematics,” wrote Bertrand Russell, “every science has had to begin by fighting to establish its right to exist.” In the Philippines, however, the Christian religion, especially the Catholic religion, has had the right to exist without opposition from any one, or any thing, whatsoever. In fact, owing to Christianity, there is hardly anything that can be valued as the existence of viable science in this only Christian country in Asia. Poch Suzara

Filpino Families

Filipino families believe themselves to be rich because they live in the expensive villages of Makati city. In fact, they are the people who are suffering from the worst kind of poverty – the poverty of the mind: - They still believe and have deep faith in the same obsolete values and other silly beliefs that characterized those brutal centuries historically known as the Dark Ages. On the contrary, rich families, like rich individuals, are those precisely who are deeply involved with changing reality: they learn to refashion their goals and aims that help create a sane society. Poch Suzara

LaSallite Minds

Confucius say: Ordinary minds talk about people. Average minds talk about events. Great minds talk about ideas. In the Philippines, however, De La Salle college students are awarded a diploma so that they never have to talk about their minds long dead and gone since grade school. In fact, highly educated LaSallites have not ceased thanking God for their college diploma – the piece of paper that certifies publicly that education is over and done with. Poch Suzara

Two Kinds of Free Will

There are two kinds of free will – the phony and the real kind. The phony free will has only to do with the freedom of religion. The real free will has only to do with the freedom from religion. Iask: what purpose is there for the existence of free will if you were punished for choosing one way; but, rewarded for choosing the other way? Free will is utterly meaningless unless you also enjoy the ultimate of freedom – the freedom to choose or not to choose. Poch Suzara

Quality of Life

The Church could not care less about the quality of life. For the sake of saving souls, what’s essential to the Church is the quantity of life. The more souls there are to be saved, the business is better for the Church. Thus, the evils of family planning and birth control practice – the only way the Church stays in business for wealth, power, and glory.
Yes, abortion is evil. Besides, it is no fun to kill a baby inside the mother’s womb. It’s called murder; and murder is a crime. What’s more fun, however, is to let the babies be conceived, let them be born, let them grow up a bit, give them a fighting chance, and then kill them. Kill them with malnutrition, filthy surroundings, parental neglect, diseases, or asphyxia from vehicular soot and lead. Isn’t this the height of religious hypocrisy? If we do not abandon our children in the streets, we abandon them in school. How to seek a life of piety by ignoring knowledge and wisdom that helps carry on a decent and a healthy society. Instead, they learn how to love divinity by hating humanity. Poch Suzara

Sex Experts

The Filipino boys and girls know everything there is to know about sex. They have, in the streets, acquired all the necessary information needed. As a matter of fact, these young boys and girls are such experts at making babies no matter what cost to society. They even know and duly accept that unwanted pregnancy is not really the result of irresponsible sex, but a wonderful product of God’s will. Poch Suzara

Our Women

Women – the most precious half of the whole of mankind – they are what mothers and grandmothers are made of; what wives and daughters are made of; what sisters and nieces and aunts are made of. And yet in the Philippines, we allow our poor women to live in the slum areas, to sweep our streets, to beg in the streets, to work as household maids or as hospitality girls in foreign countries. In fact, a vital component of the Philippine economy is based on prostitution, from which the men profit much more than the women, many of whom are employed, nay, enslaved by men. When we degrade the status of women, we degrade at the same time, children; especially the male children who grow up, if at all, dumbstruck as they generate our sick society. I ask: how may we survive as a nation if we continue to treat our women like they were 3rd class citizens of the Republic. Poch Suzara

Male and Female relationships

I do not know what the big fuss is all about between men and women relationships. G.B. Shaw wrote: “Man is woman and woman is man with the slight difference that does not matter, except on special occasions.”

Alfred De Musset wrote: “All men are liars, traitors, babblers, hypocrites, and strutters; all women are vain, artificial, and perfidious; but there is, in this world, one thing holy and sublime and that is the union of these imperfect beings.” Indeed, holy and sublime as it is, the union between a man and a woman – creates life. And what is life? Life is but a sexually transmitted disease with a mortality rate of 100 per cent.
Philosopher Bertrand Russell (1872-1970) in his 91th birthday summed it all up when asked” “What is old age? Russell replied: “ I consider old age a time to struggle for human decency – like any other.” Poch Suzara

On Raising Children

Raising children in the Philippines is just like raising pigs, chicken and cows: without regard to moral and intellectual capacity. Despite the increasing complexity of raising children for a happy, creative, and productive life, the task of parenthood remains in the hands of couples quite devoid of parental qualifications. There are colleges courses offered on how to raise pigs, chickens and cows in our universities, but none on how to properly raise children. There are millions of malnourished children in the Philippines today. They are abused – physically, emotionally, sexually, and economically. Not to mention poor prenatal and postnatal nutrition adversely have affected the functions of their brains. Let us not forget that our congressmen, senators, and theologians of today, not to mention college professors - were once Filipino children. I ask: Why should these children honor their mother and father? Suppose parents are selfish, greedy, stupid, and insane? Should children honor them? Honor is not something to be given. It must be earned. Parents who wish to be respected must behave so as to elicit respect. But what if parents were weak or degenerate or criminally negligent? Should children honor them? Copulation requires no especial strength of character. No high intelligence is required for a husband to impregnate his wife or lover. Consider the physical position that a man and woman must assume in order to multiply and replenish the earth. It has got to be one of the most ridiculous positions ever concocted by would-be mothers and would-be fathers. Yet, when children are born and they struggle to survive by living like animals eating garbage off the streets, we believe it a religious duty that they be taught God’s command – honor thy mother and thy father. What kind of childish nonsense is this? In the meantime, it is hard to believe in the salvation of those who work for the damnation of others: the pro-lifers who condemn hundreds of thousands of unwanted and unloved children to premature death due to hunger and diseases. These religious morons are even insisting that there is no such thing as population growth problem in the Philippines. Indeed, religion is the root of complacency and apathy that plagues our sick society. We believe it such a terrible sin against God to practice family planning and birth control. We ignore God’s greatest gift to man: - free will. We refuse to accept that babies born in the Philippines today each carry a message from God. The message is that poor and backward countries like the Philippines have shamelessly failed to utilize free will to develop a new set of moral values that should lead to humane social program for population control. To be entrusted with a large family is a great responsibility. To be entrusted with feeding, clothing, sheltering, educating, and loving a large family is a greater responsibility. But to acknowledge the fact that human overpopulation leads to the extinction of most other species that are needed to maintain the balance of nature is the greatest of responsibilities. The first law of ecology is that everything is connected to everything else in a delicate and complex web of interrelationships. It is therefore impossible to separate protection of human species from protection of natural ecosystems; they are two aspects of the same fundamental set of resources. With human population explosion we destroy the ecological system. Upon their destruction we will destroy too, eventually, ourselves. All for what? To please the sick religious morons in charge of our spiritual life as a people? Such as the Catholic bishops, Pastor Eduardo manalo of INC, Pastor Eli Soriano of Dating Daan, Pastor Mike Velarde of El Shaddai, Pastor Eddie Villanueva of Jesus is Lord church, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy of the Appointed Son of God church, Pastor Bo sanchez of the church of Tootie-Frooties, etc. Poch Suzara Facebook# Twitter# Google#

Food For the Soul

What a complete waste of time and energy – to gather food for the soul that never gets hungry as it will never die because the soul is already immortal as the soul already belongs to God. Besides, what God does to a man's soul is none of man's business. So why even bother to save souls to begin with? Poch Suzara

Catholic Teachings

It is far more important for a Catholic to study the teachings of the Church than read the bible. In fact, Catholics are discouraged to read to bible for themselves. Poch Suzara

Only A Fool

Only a fool says there is no God. Doesn't that make God the bigger fool for having created fools in his own image and likeness? Poch Suzara

To Think

To think that everybody knows absolutely nothing about the existence of God in heaven or about the existence of the devil in hell; or, about the nature of existence everywhere. And to think further that all of our social and moral values are based upon what everybody knows nothing about! Poch Suzara

Nothing

Indeed, It is true, we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we shall carry nothing out. The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away. But then again, what was the purpose of the coming of the Lord and His promise to return if the beginning and end of this life in this world were about bringing nothing into this world and about taking nothing out of this world? If, however, I could bring my books with me to the next world, if any, ok, I will go and take the trip. Otherwise, I'd rather die and be buried on this earth forever. Poch Suzara

If a Perfect God

If a perfect God created perfect angels to live in a perfect heaven so as to be perfectly happy forever, what perfect reasons would the perfect angels have to perfectly rebel against God only to end up as perfect but otherwise stupid devils? Poch Suzara

The Oath of Office

Taking the oath of government office with words: “So, help me God,” is a declaration of utter foolishness. On the cross dying Jesus cried out: “My, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?” If God could not help his own Son on the cross, why should God help the politicians installed in government office. Poch Suzara

Free Choices

If we do have free will, how come we never had the free choice to choose to be born in another galaxy of which, according to the science of astronomy, more than 100 BILLION galaxies exist out there to choose from. Indeed, there exist far more planets and stars out there than there are grains of sand existing in the all the beaches of the planet earth. Poch Suzara

Daily Prayer

We pray to God to forgive us of our sins; but we also pray to God to “lead us not into temptation.” Perhaps, if we can only pray for the conversion of the devil to go back to the ways of the Lord, we will commit no more sins as there will be no more devil to make a mockery of our daily prayers. In the meantime, tradition, such as prayers, practiced by a people, says absolutely nothing about its veracity, viability, or even its common sensibility. Poch Suzara

The Holy Bible not so Holy

In his AGE OF REASON, Thomas Paine wrote: “ Whenever we read the obscene stories, the voluptuous debaucheries, the cruel and torturous executions, the unrelenting vindictiveness, with which more than half the bible is filled, it would be more consistent that we call it the word of a demon, than the word of God. It is a history of wickedness, that has served to corrupt and brutalize mankind; and, for my part, I sincerely detest it, as I detest everything that is cruel.”

For my part, I said it before, I say it again: if you have high hopes in seeing your children grow up intelligent with self-respect and courageous with dignity, keep them away from the stupid priest frightening them to believe and to have faith in the stupid messages written as Revealed Truth in the holy bible. Poch Suzara

Separation of Church and Scientific Knowledge

The mind grows healthy with scientific knowledge. Superstition only destroys the mind with fear and ignorance. Superstition therefore is an evil. There should be no room for superstition to exist alongside knowledge as superstition is an evil. It’s the same with the Church. There should be no room for the Church to exist alongside the State. The church is an evil: it not only divides with hate but also keeps people poor, backward, and indeed, un-enlightened, if not frightened. Poch Suzara

The Clash of Civilization

Samuel Huntington wrote: “The Clash of Civilization.” It would have been more accurate had he titled his book “The Clash of Human Ignorance,” or “The Clash of Religious hypocrisy.” Or, “The Clash of the Arms Industries.” Or, “The Clash of Nations under Conflict with American Corporations.” Poch Suzara

Demons and Angels

The only demons that exist are those that lurk inside the reptilian side of the brain: ignorance, hatred, insanity, and faith in divinity. The only angels that exist are those that are inside the mammalian side of the brain: reason, intellectual honesty, love, and indeed, faith in the human capacity. Poch Suzara

Pacificism

Pacificism worked well in India under the atheistic British rule. And yet pacificism failed to work for the non-violent Jews under the theistic Nazis in Germany. It is, I think, the result of what happens when religious morons or “God is with us” gang stands
to defend the works of the Lord as Hitler wrote in his Mein Kampf Poch Suzara

Government Officials

American government officials are exactly like the Philippine government officials: they are installed not by civil service eligibility or by examination, but by fraudulent or worse, by financial arrangement, if not by powerful political connection. It is all about the American style of freedom and democracy in the Philippines. Poch Suzara

The Futility of Coming of Christ

If the Almighty God were omni-present and therefore already present here, already established there, and already situated everywhere on this earth, what’s the purpose of the First Coming and the Second Coming of Christ? Poch Suzara

Jesus Failed as a Prophet

“For I came not to send peace, but a sword.” Matt. 10:34. “For all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.” Matt. 26:52. Obviously Jesus failed at his own prophecy. He did not die by the sword. He was crucified on the cross. And crucified by men created in the image and likeness of His Father God. Poch Suzara

Words from Jesus

If Jesus had only enjoyed the comfort of a happy home life with his mom and dad and brothers and sisters, he need not have uttered such meaningless words like: I and my Father are one. John 10:30. I go unto my father: for my father is greater than I. John 14:28. But then again, Jesus was a failure. He failed to ask Man to forgive God for He does not appreciate love and affection within the human family on this earth. Poch Suzara

Shocked

We were all shocked when we saw what the terrorists did to the World Trade Center Twin Towers on 9/11 in New York. But only the few cared to find out what inspired the terrorists to do such a thing. Ah, but how many people are sane enough to realize that we actually live in an insane world as inspired by insane religious businessmen in cahoots with insane politics who continue to inspire the production of weapons for war? Poch Suzara

Progress of Ideas

Unless it is a progress of ideas, progress is destructive. The Entropy Law sees to that: each time order is created, the consequence is eventual disorder. Examples of pollution, of extinct animal species, of eroded landscape – in short – of exhausted resources – are evidences of progress not of ideas, but progress of human stupidity. Poch Suzara

For Christ's Sake

More than six million people, mostly Jews, but also gypsies, political opponents, homosexuals, prisoners of war, and freedom fighters were gassed to death inside crematoriums build throughout Germany generated with the power of faith. In his MEIN KAMPF, Adolf Hitler wrote: “I believe I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jews, I am fighting for the works of
the Lord.” Poch Suzara

Bible Lies

The truth has only one version. Lies have many. Thus, there are 57 different versions of the holy Bible for sale in bookstores today. But there is only one Multiplication Table – the perfect model of truth – free from ignorance and contradictions. In fact, 2 plus 2 equals 4 as a perfect model of truth is not even mentioned in any of the conflicting chapters of the silly bible. In the meantime, here are examples of lies written in the Bible: “I have seen God face to face.” Gen. 32:30. “No man has seen God at any time.” John 1:18. As a matter of fact, what does it really matter whether one has seen God or has not seen God? What will it chang? How will the existence of God make this world a better place to live in? In fact, the existence of God is totally irrelevant, completely useless, if not shamelessly worthless to human affairs. Poch Suzara

The Filipino People

If a people believe that God will always provide; if they believe that Christ will soon return with his Mother of Perpetual Help; if they believe that there is power in prayer behind the coming Savior; and that this life is nothing as compared to the next life in the next world to come with God in heaven - such people can best be described as the Filipino – the Sick Man of Asia. Poch Suzara

Corruption in the Philippines

Corruption is here, there, and everywhere in the Philippines. It is just like the existence of God present here, present there, and present everywhere. Look, however, at the priesthood industry also omniscient in the Philippines. How they love to support and maintain corruption. Corruption inspires everybody to seek God’s forgiveness of sin and pardon of crime that continue to benefit the priesthood industry. In the meantime, take a look at their already mind-boggling wealth deposited in the Vatican Bank. Poch Suzara

We Love only God Up There

Look at how we all love God up there, by hating one another down here. Consider how in this only Catholic country in Asia we Filipinos have no trust in God. Well, I said it before, I say it again: As soon as God-fearing security guards need no longer be employed to assist our God-fearing policemen to help secure and protect the wealth of our God-fearing church officials and their God-fearing partners in commerce and their God-fearing associates; not to mention our God-fearing government buildings, hospitals, banks, schools, colleges, universities, shopping malls, commercial and residential buildings, expensive residential villages, movie theaters, restaurants, churches, and cathedrals, public parks, museums, including the building of the National Bureau of Investigation - I believe we can begin to trust God in this only Catholic country in Asia. Poch Suzara

Pope John Paul 11

Pope John Paul 11 fell ill and immediately rushed to the hospital to take advantage of the power of medical science. Nobody, however, thought of rushing the Head of the Catholic Church to a Cathedral to take advantage of the power of prayer. Poch Suzara

Silly Sinners

Silly sinners have yet to grasp the real nature of the Revealed Truth that has yet to be revealed: - behind the Original Sin was the powerful Original Creator. Poch Suzara

Bible Readers

Bible readers have yet to find existing somewhere in this world the living Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil mentioned in the bible? Perhaps that same Tree of knowledge can tell us where exactly may we also find living today the Talking Burning Bush and Talking Serpent and Talking Donkey mentioned in the bible. Poch Suzara

A Deadly World

What can one expect of a world where half of its population believe in Allah, and the other half believe in God? And the rest who do not believe in either God or Allah, believe nevertheless in some other kind of superstitious nonsense. Bertrand Russell, In his The Prospect of Industrial Civilization, wrote it quite clearly: “Governors of the world believe, and have always believe, that virtue can only be taught by teaching falsehood, and that any man who knew the truth would be wicked. I disbelieve this, absolutely and entirely. I believe that the love of the truth is the basis of all real virtue, and that virtues based upon lies can only do harm.” Poch Suzara

Free Will Not So Free

Is it true that God gifted man with a free will because God does not want man to be like robots? If, however, men were free to choose between good and evil how come the Arabs have the free will to be Muslims, the Americans have the free will to be Christians, and the Jews have the free will to be Jewish? Are we to believe that God also has not only the free will but also the free thrill to enjoy watching the Jews and the Christians and the Muslims freely hate and freely kill each other in his name and for his glory? In the meantime, what has free will got to do with the freedom OF religion? It seems to me free will has more to do with the freedom FROM religion. Poch Suzara

The Almighty Dollar

It is all about the crock of greed. In the Philippines, the US Embassy charges $300 per applicant for a visa to visit the USA whether it is approved or disapproved by the US Ambassador. Exclusive of other charges for other consular services, the US Embassy earns off Filipinos about 2 BILLION PESOS yearly. Imagine that every 25 years. That’s a 50 BILLION PESOS or $1 BILLION DOLLARS minus the Philippine economy but a plus for the US economy earned not by trade or commerce but by American diplomacy. In the meantime, the per capita income of the 88 million Filipinos today is $200 dollars per year. These are the same Filipinos who are hoping to migrate and earn a better living in foreign countries one day. Poch Suzara

Poor Americans

America may be the riches and the greatest country in the world; but America has yet to win love and respect of people living around the world. No doubt, a great many people throughout the world would love to live in America, but millions of Americans, specially its lonely senior citizens existing on low social security income, are now living happily in many other foreign countries. Not to mention the more than 130 million Americans who are now politically homeless in the USA. They are no longer a viable part of the rich corporations that owns and controls even the White House in Washington. Indeed, we Americans should stop behaving like consumers of politics; we should, instead, act like the creators of politics that precisely gave birth to the United States of America. Poch Suzara

American Freedom and Democracy

If the native Indians were properly compensated (trillion of dollars worth today) in precious land stolen from them by the White Man, I will believe freedom exist in America. If the freethinkers and atheists, and not just the Jesus freaks, have equal opportunity to run for government office in the US, I will believe democracy exist in America. If the Black Americans were duly compensated for having their ancestors from Africa transported to America to work as slaves, I will believe that America is the land of the free and the home of the brave. Meanwhile, America may have installed democracy in the Philippines. But only after having paid Spain some $20 millions dollars to the Spanish king that never owned the Philippines to begin with. Think of It

The terrorism against the Christians is committed in Allah’s good name. The terrorism against the Muslims is committed in God’s good name. We have yet to hear of terrorism in the world committed in Satan’s bad name. Poch Suzara

Religion and the US Government

Religion in the US government is quite unique. It can fly. It has wings. It is known as the US Air force. And if religion continues to dominate the Bush administration innocent blood, enough to float the US Navy, will continue to flow. It did yesterday in the rivers of Korea, Vietnam, Guatemala, Grenada, Panama, Cambodia, Lebanon, Nicaragua, and the Persian Gulf. Today in the rivers of Iraq, and soon in the rivers of Iran too. America

Our Founding Fathers knew that government must change as the time changes. Thomas Jefferson himself, in a mature reflection, declared: “Some men look at constitutions with sanctimonious reverence and deem them like the ark of covenant, too sacred to be touched. They ascribe to the men of the preceding age a wisdom more than human, and suppose what they did to be beyond amendment . . . I am certainly not an advocate for frequent and untried changes in laws and constitutions. . . But I also know that laws and institutions must go hand and hand with the progress of the human mind. . . As new discoveries are made, new truths disclosed, and manners and opinions change with the change of circumstances, institutions must advance also, and keep pace with the times.” As democracy has decayed in America, theocracy has gotten back on track. What's Wrong With America

A hairstylist must pass a licensing exam before he could practice his trade in America. But any low I.Q. superstitious Texan or Hollywood ham actor with the solid backing from religious freaks and rich corporations can qualify to become president of the USA. Indeed, anybody can become president of the USA and that is precisely the problem. Poch Suzara

Hope For Peace

The best hope for peace in the world is via the expansion of freedom. Not, however, by way of the freedom installed by the U.S. government which is only about the freedom to succeed in trade and commerce. The U.S. government is ready to liberate and to install freedom in countries that are rich in oil deposits and rich in other commercial opportunities. Indeed, if a typical American does not give a hoot to his next door neighbor right in American soil, why should he give a hoot to his foreign neighbors around the globe? Poch Suzara

Catholic Bishops

Even though our rapid population growth keeps the Filipino poor as a people, the Catholic Bishops welcome more babies. Millions of them, however, destined to a life of religious attitudes and behaviors that lead to widespread poverty. And to think these babies, many of them born unwanted, are produced yearly in vast quantities by unpaid and unskilled labor who enjoy their work. The Bishops could not care less about the coming of the Lord to assist the Filipino become healthy, wealthy, and wise as a nation. Instead, they say that, whilst the Lord has not yet returned, we can all enjoy God’s greatest gift of “free will” by choosing the good away from the evil. In this case, according to the Bishops, we must always choose good pregnancy over the evils of serious family planning and birth control contraceptives. In the meantime, it’s incredible to see how the child-bearers themselves, the women, virtually have no say on the matter. It’s the men, specially the bishops of the Church, - always deciding for women what not to do. I ask you women: Aside from your minds and hearts already surrendered to the Priesthood Industry, must you also surrender your reproductive system? In the meantime, where is the free will of the Bishops to choose human dignity for the Filipino as a people? Why choose only more of the same old religious insanity, poverty and misery? Why are the bishops keeping our free will not free at all? Look how we must obey the bishops calling for a continued production of unwanted babies for the Filipinos who are already quite famous as the Sick Man of Asia throughout the world? For my part, as I believe that a “good will” is much more sensible than a “free will.” I say to you Bishops: Shame on you for believing that the population growth of the Philippines is a matter of good sexual morality based upon divine authority. On the contrary, my dear Bishops, the population explosion in the Philippines is an issue of economic perversity, if not social insanity, as inspired by historical mediocrity. And to think that God Himself practiced family planning and birth control. He had begotten with a Virgin Mary only one Son, didn’t He? Poch Suzara
