A Savior On this Grain of Sand For Filipinos

A handful of sand contains about 10,000 grains, more than the total number of stars we can see with the naked eye on a clear night. Jesus - the Jewish Savior of Filipinos

Jesus found in the temple people selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers sitting at tables. So he made a whip of cords and drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen. He scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. Can you, my dear reader, explain what has this episode with money changers in the temple somewhere in Israel some 2,000 years ago got anything to do with Jesus as a Jew, and as the Son of God - born of a Virgin Jewish Mary - ended up as the Savior

Jesus and Education in Israel

Jesus is usually referred to as Jesus of Nazareth though he was born supposedly in Bethlehem. The distance between them is about 75 miles. What’s remarkable about this discrepancy, however, is not the Jesus of this or that town, but that neither Nazareth nor Bethlehem got to be a Christian town as part of a Christian country. Israel is still a Jewish State today.

Here, however, is something even more revealing. In the State of Israel today there exist no school, no college, and no university that teach Jesus is the Son of God who was crucified on a cross in Calvary to redeem the damned souls of Filipinos in the Philippines - the only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century. Mindless Free Will

Adam and Eve were supposedly gifted with a free will to choose between good and evil. Yet both were never given the education to know the difference between the good and evil; nor, were they given divine guidance on how to accept or to reject evil. Free will is a myth. Again, how come Adam was never gifted with a free will to choose freely his kind of wife, and Eve was also never gifted with a free will to choose freely her kind of husband? In the meantime, in Proverbs 16:9, it says that: - “A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.” If this were true, then man’s free will becomes not only mindless, not only aimless, worthless, but, heartless. In the ultimate analysis, free will is an illusion. It is the product of consciousness which is another illusion. Well, our troubles have not yet even began because our consciousness is a product of a troubled reality. The Wrath of God

"The wrath of God continues to plague our nation because we have turned our back away from him." Bobit S. Avila, Philippine Star, Jan, 7,2012 Somebody ought to remind this religiously frightened Avila that it is not possible for any of us to turn our back away from God. In the first place, is it not true that God exists here, exists there, and exists everywhere. This simply means God exists on top of us, below us, in front of us, and at the back of us. Now let's assume, for the sake of the argument, - that we are able to turn our back away from God? Is it really possible that God can be bothered by such petty
development? Such useless triviality? For my part, I refuse to believe in the existence of a such a God. A God easily bothered by such childish nonsense. As if God had no more important things to attend to than just be easily bothered when we turn our silly back away from him. Poch Suzara

President Noynoy Aquino has to work overtime in 2012 if he is to meet the expectations of the people and fulfill his election promises. The following problems are crying for solutions:

1. Lack of jobs; 3 million unemployed; 8 million underemployed. He promised to create 10 million jobs in 6 years or 1.6 million a year;
2. High prices of food and other basic necessities including rice, sugar, cooking oil, gasoline, LPG, pork, chicken, fish and vegetables;
3. Petty corruption in the bureaucracy including kotong cops;
4. Criminality all over the country with an epidemic of riding in tandem murders;
5. Environmental enforcement including assurance of clean air, clean water and adequately coping with the challenges of climate change;
6. Bad roads aggravated by the slow pace of construction of roads and bridges all over the country, with money being siphoned off by corrupt officials and contractors;
7. Lack of 66,000 classrooms, 112,000 teachers, lack of computers and IT equipment in elementary schools;
8. Deterioration of education resulting in low scores in national achievement tests, high dropout rate and only 20 out of 100 grade school students entering high school;
9. Lack of basic health services in rural areas with poorly understaffed government hospitals with old equipment and lack of medicines;
10. Lack of progress in the peace process with the MILF and the CPP/NPA/NDF. NPA attacks have stepped up nationwide.
11. The very serious problem of illegal drug use and drug dealing corrupting a wide swat of local officials and police officers.

Other pressing problems include:

1. Inadequate and poor airport services earning for NAIA I the title of the worst airport in the world. NAIA 3 is not yet fully operational;
2. Lack of potable water in many rural areas. Wells are drying up. Prices of bottled water have gone up;
3. Lack of transportation facilities in the rural areas with the high cost of gasoline and poor farm to market roads. Sea transportation besides being expensive is unsafe;
4. Unbridled population growth rate with the population now reaching 100 million;
5. Lack of post harvest facilities and insufficient irrigation systems;
6. Lack of electricity in 30% of the barangays;
7. Lack of potable water in many areas;
8. Lack of equipment in the AFP and also in the PNP;
9. Slow pace of legislature and judicial reform with backlogs throughout the court system;
10. A very bad jail system with frequent escapes happening and corruption pervading the jail management authorities;
11. Deterioration and shameful performances in Philippine sports, placing 6th in the last Southeast Asian Games.

Comment: surely Ernesto M. Maceda has the guts to enumerate the problems that's keeping us Filipinos aimless as a people and directionless as a nation. But he would not elaborate on the real monster, the real source of the problems that's keeping us POOR as a people and BACKWARD as a nation. The FACT that we produce 3 babies every single minute of the day and night or 1.5 MiLLION BABIES yearly. We are now 100 MILLION FILIPINOS IN THE PHILIPPINES. Around the year 2042 WE WILL HAVE GROWN TO 200 MILLION FILIPINOS all BLESSED BY DEVILTRY AS INSPIRED BY DIVINITY FOR THE SAKE OF NOTHING EXCEPT TO PROTECT, SUPPORT, PROMOTE AND DEFEND CHRISTIANITY. The greatest of wealth is mental health. There is nothing quite like it in all of nature. Conversely, the lowest form of poverty is the poverty of the mind and heart. There is nothing permanent in this world. Everything is temporary. Except death. It is permanent. Nobody dies partially. Everybody dies totally. With our precious freedom, however, especially the freedom of the mind and heart, we must only face and the make the most out of this life after birth. Never mind life after death. There isn't any. There is no such thing as a hereafter since there never was, for any of us - a herebefore! If we wish to make the best of this world in the here and now - we should find more reasons to recognize and foster the power of science and the beauty of technology - all based, if not founded upon the power of thought in tandem with the power of observation as inspired not by free will, but simply - good will If, however, we only have hopes to carry on our stupidity for as long as eternity - then we might as well only continue to have blind faith in our silly prayers under silly theology otherwise more popularly known as "Christianity" in our poor and backward country! For my New Year's resolution this year, - same as last year and the year before that ever since I was expelled out of La Salle high school some 65 years ago: I RESOLVE TO LIVE THE GOOD LIFE - ONE INSPIRED BY LOVE FOR THE HUMAN RACE and TO HELL WITH DIVINE DISGRACE ALWAYS IN CAHOOTS WITH THE DEVIL'S EMBRACE!!
