WHERE ARE THE HEALTHY SOULS IN THE PHILIPPINES

The bible contain the nutrient we need for a healthy soul." Philippine Star, Jan. 7, 2015 "Without science, a nation can neither be rich nor powerful. Bertrand Russell In the Philippines, however, we only have religion and politics - both under the guidance from the holy bible. The same holy bible that also teaches us to: "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world, if any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." 1Jojn 2:15. Well, under holy bible guidance since the 16th century, is it surprising that millions of us poor Filipinos have only learned how to love divinity up there by not loving our country down here? Pascal's Pathetic Wager

Pascal’s Wager is somewhat tragic. It has nothing to do with the power of logic. It has more to do with faith in magic. Pascal’s Wager has been proved not only empirically deficient, but also logically self-destructive. He may have been a mathematician; but he was not a logician. He was, however, apologetic as a theologian. If he were a Filipino, he would have been a great success as a corrupt politician. Here’s Pascal’s Wager: “Even if the Christian conception of God cannot be proved, the wise and prudent man will accept it for the following reasons: If it is true, and he believes it, he has gained heaven. If it is true, and he does not believe, he goes to hell. If it is not true, and he believes that it is, he has lost nothing. If it is not true, and he believes that it is not, he has gained nothing So there is everything to gain and nothing to lose by believing it true. FIRST OBJECTION TO PASCAL’S WAGER: This is one of the most interesting arguments of all and the most convincing, but at the same time the most fallacious. It is a classic statement of ethnocentrism. It starts out with the assumption that Christianity is the only possible choice, and ignores all other religions of the world. One possibility that Pascal overlooked was that the same argument can be used equally well by any other religion to prove its validity. What made Pascal so certain that God was a Christian? The Muslims think God is a Muslim; the Hindus think God is a Hindu; the Buddhists think God is a Buddhist, And surely it is just as possible that one of them is right as the Christians are right. So a Christian stands in just as much danger of going to a Muslim hell, as a Muslim stands of going to a Christian hell. Obviously, Pascal failed to consider this possibility simply because Christians were the only kinds of people he has known. Apparently he had never seriously discussed religion with a Muslim or a Hindu or a Buddhist, so he assumed that everyone of any consequence in the world was just like him. But to begin an argument with the assumption that everyone in the world is wrong but me, is obviously a shaky way to begin. In fact, Pascal was referring to the Catholic variety of Christianity. And there are many other denominations which all threaten eternal damnation for anyone who does not accept THEIR doctrine. SECOND OBJECTION TO PASCAL’S WAGER Pascal overlooked that God might be even meaner than he thought. A God that is cruel enough to create a hell in the first place, and one that would make a man so blinded as to be capable of stumbling into the lake of fire, and one that would create a Satan to lure him into it, certainly should have no qualms about burning anyone who accepted Christianity on so calculated and mercenary a basis. In fact, in Matt. 18:3, Mark 10:15, and Luke 18:17 Jesus repeatedly says that only those who accept him with the blind faith of children will be saved. THIRD OBJECTION TO PASCAL’S WAGER Still another possibility is that since man’s intelligence is the only thing that perceptively distinguishes him from other animals, God might very well punish a man for accepting anything on “faith” instead of intelligently analyzing it and weighing it against all other possibilities. Such as lively analysis instead of deadly paralysis! FOURTH OBJECTION TO PASCAL’S WAGER Pascal’s conclusion does not follow from his premises. In his great book - THE CASE AGAINST GOD, George H. Smith wrote: “Just as Christianity must destroy reason before it can introduce faith, so it must destroy happiness before it can introduce salvation. It is not accidental that Christianity is profoundly anti-pleasure, especially in the area of sex. Pleasure is the fuel of life, and sexual pleasure is the most intense form of pleasure that man can experience. To deny oneself pleasure, or to convince oneself that pleasure is evil is to produce frustrations and anxiety and thereby become potential material for salvation.” Therefore, if this is the only life we have, and we sacrifice the few earthly pleasures we have, and trade our intellectual freedom for a mess of dogma, hogma, and pigma, - all for the sake of non-existent next world, instead of losing nothing, we have lost everything. In the meantime, here’s all that is necessary for religion to triumph: Have enough good men, who are good for nothing, pray daily to God to help other men help themselves to be good for nothing too. The Infinity, Stupidity, and Divinity

"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe"... Albert Einstein. For my part, I say, why should we bother to believe that it is important for the finite mind of man to understand the infinite mind of God? Isn't it far more important to prove first not that God is infinite, but that such a God, in fact, do exists! So God is this! God is that! So what? The plain truth is that such a God is never, but never OMNIPRESENT, only always OMNIABSENT. For my part, I'd like to see us dealing direct with God or God is dealing direct with us without the stupidity of a 3rd party involved as a necessary mystery! . . . Nothing is Permanent in this World

Nothing is permanent, as everything is temporary in this world. Happily, even human stupidity is, hopefully, something that will not last as long as eternity. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Silly Believers

It is clearly written in the bible: "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall opened unto you; for everyone that asketh, receiveth; for he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened." Matt. 7:7-8. . . Sadly, the offer works better for the intelligent unbelievers than it does for the silly believers. The intelligent unbelievers know what to ask. They know what to seek. They know what to find. The silly believers do not even know what "knowing" means. Poch Suzara twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Freedom of the Press

The freedom of the press in the Philippines is not for its readers; but only for those in the Philistines who are more at home with mediocrity as owners of the press. These college-educated saps and jerks love not the freedom of information, especially new and fresh information; but love only the freedom to spread old and obsolete misinformation. Especially for the greater glory of Jesus as the Savior of the Filipinos in the Philippines. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Top Ten Failed Arguments for God's Existence

There are many failed arguments for God's existence but there is one which is fundamental to them all. This is the Argument from Fear and Ignorance. Take virtually any aspect of our natural world that we don't fully understand and you'll find someone claiming that at the end of the dark tunnel there is light as God: 1.Shifting the Burden of Proof - I know God exists. If you disagree, prove otherwise. Oh you say you can't prove God doesn't exist? That's because you know he does! Well, we claim to "know" this or that we "know" that but we do not even know what "knowing" means. 2.Argument from Popularity - The vast majority of the world believes in God. This supports the universal truth that God is real, otherwise it makes no sense that so many people would believe. The same vast majority of the world also believe that the sun rises each morning and sets each evening which is not true as it but a grand illusion. 3.The Transcendental Argument - God is, by definition, a being greater than which nothing can be conceived (imagined). Existence in reality is better than existence in one's imagination. God must exist in reality; if God did not, then God would not be that than which nothing greater can be conceived (imagined). In the meantime, each unfolding reality contains the seeds of its own destruction and the embryo of the new reality that will replace it. 4.Argument from Coercion - You must believe in God/Jesus. It's your only hope for salvation. We are all doomed if we don't accept Jesus as our personal savior. It says so in the Bible. If you want to live forever and avoid suffering, you must accept God. It also says in the same bible that: "The living know that they shall die; the dead know not anything, neither have any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten." Eccl. 9:5 5.First Cause Argument - Everything that exists in our world is the result of some sort of "first cause" which brought about its existence. Therefore, there must have been a force which created the universe. That "first cause" is what we call God. Also known as Cosmological Argument. But if God can exist without a creator, why can't the world too exist without a creator? In the meantime, if God created created everything, including space and time, where was God located before he created space, and when was it before He created time? 6.Argument from Authority - God is real because the Bible (or whatever sacred text you believe in) says so. Why would so many people write so much about God if it wasn't true? If God were already all-knowing, and already existing here, there, and everywhere, why would God need to inspire authors to write about him in the bible? 7.Argument from Personal Experience - I know god exists because I can feel him. I know it in my heart; he talks to me; I feel his strength and existence flow through every fiber of my being. How do you know that it is not a sick devil who is at the bottom of your sick experience? 8.Argument from Improbability - The second law of thermodynamics says matter inevitably becomes entropic (spreads out in chaos) and this defies the observation on Earth where we see, things becoming more organized. Therefore God is responsible. Well, how come the Philippines as the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century still have not learned how to be organized as a people and how to be organized as a nation? 9.Pascal's Wager - It is a "safe bet" to believe in God just in case he is real. What's the harm? If you believe and he doesn't exist, you don't lose anything, but if you don't believe and he does exist, you lose big time. What if it turns out that God is not a catholic, is not a Muslim, or is not Yahweh - the God of the Jew? What then? 10.Argument from Design - If you found a watch on the ground, you never met the watchmaker, but you know from its design, the beauty of it; the way each piece was intricately designed to work together, that this watch had a creator. Theists point to the human body; the precise way each of our organs work with each other and claim it's the most amazing "creation" of all, and surely there was some sort of creator behind it. This is all great and wonderful, but have any of you ever met a world-maker as we have already met watch-makers and watch-repairers? Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Second Coming of Jesus

New York Times NY, New York Jan. 4, 2015 Dear Editors, Second Coming of Jesus Jesus promised His disciples He would come again. It's in the Bible, John 14:1-3: "Let not your heart be troubled. You are trusting God, now trust in Me. There are many homes up there where my Father lives, and I am going to prepare them for your coming. When everything is ready, then I will come and get you, so that you can always be with Me where I am. If this weren't so, I would tell you plainly. And you know where I am going and how to get there." The return of Jesus will be literal and real. It's in the Bible, Acts 1:10-11: "It was not long afterwards that He rose into the sky and disappeared into a cloud, leaving them staring after Him. As they were straining their eyes for another glimpse, suddenly two white-robed men were standing there among them, and said, 'Men of Galilee, why are you standing here staring at the sky? Jesus has gone away to heaven, and some day, just as He went, He will return!'" How will Jesus come again? It's in the Bible, Luke 21:27: "At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." How many will see Him when He comes? It's in the Bible, Revelation 1:7: "Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of Him." What will we see and hear when He comes? It's in the Bible, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17: "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." How visible is His coming to be? It's in the Bible, Matthew 24:27: "For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man." Christ's coming will be unexpected and dramatic. It's in the BIble, 2 Peter 3:10: " But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up." What warning has Jesus given so we won't be fooled about the second coming? It's in the Bible, Matthew 24:23-26: "At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is Jesus!' or 'There He is!' do not believe it. For false Jesus and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time. So if anyone tells you, 'There He is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, 'Here He is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it." Does anyone know the exact time of Jesus coming? It's in the Bible, Matthew 24:36: "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." Knowing how human it is to procrastinate, what does Jesus tell us to do? It's in the Bible, Matthew 24:42: "Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming." What warning has Jesus given that we might not be taken by surprise by this great event? It's in the Bible, Luke 21:34-36: " But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthyto escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." Why is Jesus second coming taking so long? It's in the Bible, II Peter 3:8-9: "But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." While we wait for Jesus, how should we live? It's in the Bible, Titus 2:11-14: " For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works." What will the world be like when Jesus comes? It's in the Bible, Matthew 24:37-39: "As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man." Will the Jesus coming be a time of reward? It's in the Bible, Matthew 16:27 and Revelation 22:12: "For the Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with His angels, and then He will reward each person according to what he has done." "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with Me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done." Why is Jesus coming back? It's in the Bible, Hebrews 9:28: "So also Christ died only once as an offering for the sins of many people; and He will come again, but not to deal again with our sins. This time He will come bringing salvation to all those who are eagerly and patiently waiting for Him." With Jesus and His second coming, we will fully experience the reality of our salvation. It's in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 1:7-8: "Now you have every grace and blessing; every spiritual gift and power for doing His will are yours during this time of waiting for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. And He guarantees right up to the end that you will be counted free from all sin and guilt on that day when He returns." What is the last promise Jesus gives us in the Bible? It's in the Bible, Revelation 22:20: "He who testifies to these things says, 'Surely I am coming quickly.' Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus" For us Filipino heretics, freethinkers, and unbelievers of the faith - this is all great and wonderful. What, however, is sad, painful, and regrettable is to see tens of millions of Filipino Catholics all thrilled and excited anticipating not the coming of Jesus from heaven, but the arrival of Pope Francis, the Vicar of Jesus, ( Jan. 15-19, 2015 ) in the Philippines - the poorest and most backward and the only Catholic country in Asia today!! God So Loved the World

It is clearly written in the bible that: "God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." However, in the same bible, it is also clearly written that the beloved Son of God Jesus, crucified on the cross, cried out loud: 'MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAST THOU FORSAKEN ME?" Matt. 27:46. Well, listen also to the same Jesus, uttering nonsense in the bible: "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; for everyone that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened." Matt. 7:7-8... But according to Luke 13:24, Jesus said the exact opposite: "Strive to enter in at the straight gate; for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able." The Truth Shall Make You Free

"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:32. . . On the contrary, as a matter of truth, only those who enjoy the freedom of thought will know something of the truth. Never, however, will know the whole truth. The whole truth has yet to be discovered. In the meantime, the good life can only be lived not in a sick society, only in a healthy society. . . Thanks however to the millions of Filipinos with college education as products of Catholic universities we Filipinos are proud to live in a sick society as we are famous as the Sick man of Asia down here; specially for the greater glory of Jesus up there... God's Divine Plan and Man's Free Will

God has a divine plan and everything that happens or does not happen is according to his will. "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things." (Isaiah 45:7). "Whatever the LORD desires he does in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all the depths" (Psalms 135:6). "Indeed, she (Wisdom) spans the world from end to end mightily, and governs all things well." (Wisdom 8:1). St. Thomas Aquinas says that God's will is the cause of things (Summa Theologica)... In other words, even if it is a kind of weird animal, free will is a myth, a farce, a fraud, and a ceremony. Free will does not exist. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

China Today Compared to the USA and Philippines still Under Religious Insanity

I have the greatest respect and admiration for the Chinese people in China... It is not only because the Chinese people have been and still are atheistic as a people since the 11th century; but also because in this 21st century China has been the only country in this world that was able to recreate peacefully two great evils together into one great world reality... They have, quite successfully, after much thinking, and with much courage, and indeed, with great leadership managed to merge the evils of Communism and the evils of capitalism working together for them making China the richest, the most economically powerful, and the greatest nation in the world today... What America has accomplished as a nation in 200 years, China accomplished much more as a nation in less than 50 years! In the meantime, in the Philippines, the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century, millions of college-educated Filipinos in this already 21st century are still hoping, dreaming, and praying for a SAVIOR to return and to save us as a people, and to provide for us as a nation! Self-Deception - the Worst Tragedy of the Filipinos as a Peoplexxx

China Under One Great Reality in the World Today

I have the greatest admiration for the Chinese people in China. It is not only because the Chinese people have been and still are atheistic as a people since the 11th century; but also because in this 21st century China has been the only country in this world that was able to transform peacefully two great evils together into one great reality. They have, quite successfully, with much thought and with much courage, and indeed, with great leadership managed to merge the evils of Communism and the Evils of capitalism working together for them making China the richest, the most powerful, and the greatest nation in the world today. We Atheists Do Not Control People

THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN CONTROL PEOPLE IS TO LIE TO THEM. You can write that down in your book in great big letters. The only way you can control anybody is to lie to them... We atheists, however, offer people the exact opposite. We want to free people by offering to them the truth; especially by giving back to them something priceless. It was stolen away from them in school - their own precious minds and hearts. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Breeding and Populating for More Fun in the Philippines

In our sick society, as products of a sick system of education, we Filipinos are never into more studying, more reading, more learning, more discovering, more doubting, more questioning, more improving, more understanding; indeed, we are never into more and deeper thinking. Only more hoping via more praying. In fact, in our sick country, the whole idea of success in life after our so-called college education is to make money. In this way, we can have more fun with money as it more fun in the Philippines; especially breeding and populating for our country with more babies. It explains why we Filipinos are so proud and successful in producing 3 babies every single minute of the day, or 180 babies every hour; or 4,320 babies every day; or 129,600 every month; or 1.5 million babies yearly; especially for the sake of promoting Christianity in our country down here as blessed historically by a silly divinity up there. But then again, we produce babies in the streets! Why not! After all, most our streets are no longer streets. They have already transformed into"baby factories." In the meantime, it is a spectacular sight to see: the existence of many pregnant teen-agers and many pregnant mothers carrying, breast-feeding babies or walking with a hungry child in the streets of our major cities. Most of them looking for food. What, however, is even more spectacular is seeing pregnant dogs, pregnant cats, and pregnant rats in the same streets of our major cities also searching for food. Indeed, breeding and populating is more fun in the Philippines. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Noise as a Torture To All Intellectual People

I have long held the opinion that the amount of noise that anyone can bear undisturbed stands in inverse proportion to his mental capacity and may therefore be regarded as a pretty fair measure of it... Noise is a torture to all intellectual people... The superabundant display of vitality which takes the form of knocking, hammering, and tumbling things about, has proved a daily torment to me all my daily life... Arthur Schopenhauer. We poor Filipinos love noise; specially noise to celebrate New year's eve celebration. We waste billions of pesos exploding firecrackers around us to make lots of meaningless noises. Indeed, we are not intelligent as a people. We have no mental capacity to feel disturbed or tortured by exploding noises... Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Death of an Atheist

Oh yes, I am getting old, sick, and dying. My days on this earth are getting shorter. Soon I will be dead, cremated, and gone. Forever. Before I leave this world, however, whatever time I have that's left for me, I should only wish to carry on and on the promise I made to myself. To keep on doing what I have been doing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly what I started to do when I reached the age of reason - play a role, no matter how small, in bringing the evils of Christianity out of our sick country.
