God and Sin and Crime

God has the power to forgive sin and to pardon crime. God has therefore every right to order such evils committed. The most the losers and the failures can do is to pray to God to lead them not into temptation. Poch Suzara

Saddam and Bush

What's the difference between the monster called Saddam in Iraq who loves Allah who spoke to him; and the other monster called Bush in America who loves God who also spoke to him? Poch Suzara

My Silly Immortal Soul

For a great many years, I was in search of God and the devil. I was told that God endlessly fights to win over soul for heaven; or, as the case may be, the devil to win my soul for hell. I would like to suggest to both supernatural morons: - split my soul into half for each. It's a silly soul anyway. I don't want it. You can have it. I don't need it. You both can eat it. I don't know what's the big fuss about a silly soul that's already immortal? Poch suzara

Faith in Human Stupidity

The aims and goals of education in this only Christian country in Asia: to ignite not our sense of curiosity, nor work for common human decency, or even to contribute to humanity. But only to continue to obey and to cherish perpetually blind faith in human stupidity for the sake of a mystery otherwise also known as the holy trinity. Poch Suzara
Great is the freedom of religion. Greater is the freedom from religion. The greatest is the freedom of inquiry to promote the freedom of rationality for the sake of establishing social sanity. Poch Suzara

God Against God

Christians against Christians. Jews against Jews. Muslims against Muslims. Christians, Jews, and Muslims against each other. But what can anyone expect from a God who created man in his own image and likeness. As the song goes . . . What's going on. Poch Suzara

What God Wants

Unfortunately, even God himself does not know what he wants; though He allows his dumbstruck theologians to speak in his behalf as to what he does want. Poch Suzara
If we must have a religion, let us love, worship, and adore what the Pagans loved, worshipped, and adored for thousands of years: the Sun - the source of all energy. Poch Suzara
We are ready to die physically as soon as we are to live spiritually. Poch Suzara

God as a Nothing

Everything, before it was a nothing, had a first cause. God is the first cause of everything. Since God, however, is part of everything, who or what caused God before He too was a nothing. Poch Suzara

How Little I know

In my search of the truth, I have tried to learn, only to learn how little I know.
In the process, however, I have learned to love science as I have also learned to respect the scientific way of thinking: questions are far more important than the answers because, in time, the answers become obsolete. Poch Suzara

God as Dust

Large print giveth but the small print taketh away. GOD MADE MAN IN HIS OWN IMAGE AND LIKENESS. "Dust thou art and to dust thou shall return." Poch Suzara

Wonderful God

No one has ever become happy, healthy, wealthy, and wise for believing that God is
bad; yet, millions of Filipino families are poor and sick and suffering despite the fact that they believe that God is great and wonderful. Poch Suzara

Faith can Move Mountain

FAITH CAN MOVE MOUNTAIN. I AM NOW IN THE NOVEMBER OF MY LIFE AND HOW I WISH, BEFORE I LEAVE THIS WORLD ONE DAY AT THE END OF DECEMBER, I WILL BE ABLE TO SEE A MOUNTAIN MOVED BY AN INCH WITH THE POWER OF FAITH. Poch Suzara

Progress

PROGRESS IS TAKING ONE STEP FORWARD; NOT, HOWEVER, WHEN YOU ARE STANDING AT THE EDGE OF THE CLIFF. Poch Suzara

Nothing Tragic

There is nothing tragic about having been raised by ignorant parents at home; or educated by ignorant teachers in school; or indoctrinated into one’s faith by ignorant priest in church. What’s truly tragic, however, is if, in later life, under more fear and ignorance, we refuse to learn anything truthful at all. We just carry on with our children and grandchildren to have faith in the same old religious hypocrisy; to believe in the same old political stupidity; and to contribute to the same old social insanity. Thus mentally incapacitated to even wonder why we are spiritually poor as a people and morally bankrupt as a nation. Poch Suzara

Hitler's Mein Kampf

In his MEIN KAMPF, Hitler wrote: "I believe that I am acting with the Will of the Almighty Creator; by defending myself against the Jews, I am fighting for the work
of the Lord."
Thus, Hitler's MEIN KAMPF was not among those in the list of banned books ( Index Labrorium Prohibitorium ) for Catholics to read. Poch Suzara

A Sin to Eat Meat On Good Fridays

During our formative years in La Salle grade school, we were taught not with reason, but with faith to believe that it is a sin to eat meat on Good Fridays. It is, however, a virtue to live like pigs, think like cows, and replenish the earth like rabbits during the rest of the year. One can see the messy results in the Philippines - the only Christian country in Asia today. Poch Suzara

God as a Coward

GOD EASILY BLAMED EVE FOR THE FALL OF ADAM. GOD DID HAVE THE GUTS TO BLAME AND TO PUNISH THE REAL CULPRIT: THE STUPID DEVIL IN THE SHAPE OF A TALKNG SERPENT. Poch Suzara

God as a Failure

DURING NOAH'S DAYS, GOD HAD HIGH HOPES TO DROWN ALL LIVING THINGS EXCEPT NOAH AND HIS FAMILY OF 8 PEOPLE. IT WAS A DISMAL FAILURE. NONE OF THE LIVING THINGS DROWNED IN THE OCEAN. WHAT A FIASCO THAT WAS. Poch Suzara
