The Answer to Prayer

God's answer to all our prayers: Pray more each day!

Christianity and it series of Horrors

Trinity, virginity, divinity, papacy, ministry, infallibility, purgatory, immortality, deviltry, etc all are parts of daily reality that promote human stupidity in the Philippines in order to generate social insanity that insures the existence of Christianity perpetually. No Filipino has ever become rich for believing that God is bad. And yet, millions of Filipinos are poor for believing that God is good. Poch Suzara

Death - Ways of Evolution

Each and every unfolding reality contains the seeds of its own destruction and, at the same time, the embryo of a new reality that will replace it. Thus, the endless death of old reality giving birth to a new reality containing the same seeds of its own destruction. The secret of evolution is in the billions - birth, growth, death, and decay. As to where the reality of evolution is going; in fact, is it really going anywhere - who knows? Poch Suzara
God made man in his own image and likeness. Unfortunately, God has yet to make peace with his own selfish, greedy, stupid, and insane reflection. Poch Suzara

Mass Destruction versus Mass Deception

The Catholic Church sells weapons of mass deception. The US government sells weapons of mass destruction. What is the difference? Both the US government and the Catholic Church are the two richest organization in the world. Poch Suzara
The power of theology does not come from divinity; it comes from fear and ignorance, if not from intellectual vacuity otherwise popularly known as human stupidity. Poch suzara

Blind Faith

What is so spiritual about the blind leading blind not only in blind faith, but also for the glory of a blind God in heaven? Poch Suzara
God is a mystery - a mystery so incomprehensible that nothing is known of God except that he is a mystery. If that were the case, how would we know, to begin with, that such a God even exist? Poch Suzara
Jesus is mentioned 93 times in15 different chapters of the Quran. Jesus is called a prophet, a messenger, a servant of God, a word from God, the messiah, and one inspired or aided by the spirit of God. According to the Muslims, happily, the Quran was also written by inspired authors of Allah. Poch Suzara

On Our Knees

Politics is the cancer of nationalism in the Philippines. Worse than politics, however, has been and still is religion. The Catholic church has kept the Filipino
on his knees maintaining his worldwide popularity as the Sick Man of Asia. Poch Suzara
As the island of our piety grows, so does the shore of our hypocrisy. In most advanced countries, its resources are for its people. In the Philippines, the people are the resources for other foreign countries still advancing. Poch Suzara

Divine Grace against the Human race

No, not science, but religion continues to promote poverty, misery, hatred, violence, diseases, and especially questions that remain unanswered such as where's is divine grace to upgrade, not degrade, - the human race? Indeed, more to point: Why does divine grace continue to hide needlessly away from the troubles and problems of the human race? Poch Suzara

In the End Nothing

At the heart of reality lies not the answer, but a question: why is there something rather than nothing? But at the heart of every something is the seed of its own destruction which, inevitably, ends as a nothing of a new reality of which science has yet to discover what that nothing is all about. human intelligence

It is a great joy to meet people who are not dumbstruck, but awestruck with the rarity known as human intelligence. Poch Suzara
Whatever God said to those inspired bible authors was said to them and not said directly to me. It is therefore not my obligation to believe what those authors said that God said to them. Even if it is known as Revelation. Poch Suzara

Lies and Fantasy

When a nation's values and beliefs are based on lies and fantasy, how can such a nation grow with the truth and how can it mature with reality? Such is the situation in the Philippines - the only Christian country in Asia. Poch suzara

Two Kinds of Filipinos

There are only two kinds of Filipinos: the unbelievers - minority with intelligence without religion; and, the believers - the majority with religion but devoid of intelligence. For my part, I am most proud to be totally irreligious. In fact, I am an atheist; a freethinker. I am always proud to question why there is so much religious stupidity, political hypocrisy, social insanity, and historical perversity with us Filipinos in the Philippines - the only christian country in Asia since the 16th century. In the meantime, just because the majority rules, does not mean the majority is right. It is only means that the majority is gullible. The majority believes that the sun rises in the morning and sets in the evening. This is not reality at all says the intelligent minority. It is false as it is nothing but a grand illusion. . . Poch Suzara
The believer argues with another believer not on what they both believe, but on what they do not understand. In the meantime, the mystery they love, worship, and adore is another word for divinity. Poch Suzara

Praying, not Reading

We Filipinos are not, by any standard, a nation of readers. We are, in fact, a nation of prayers. For my part, as a high school expelled student, I pride myself not only as one who is an avid reader, but also a book and letter writer. Poch suzara
What faith is to mental paralysis, reason is to critical analysis. Meanwhile, theology is not what we know about the supernatural, but what we do not know about the natural. Indeed, theology is not about what is everywhere down here, but what is nowhere out there. Poch Suzara

No Beginning, No End

I am told that God has no beginning and no end. Well, let's assume for the sake of an argument that God has been existing die for more than 800,000,000,000 (BILLION) YEARS. Now if I live to be 80 YEARS, which is but a split of a millisecond long comparatively, I should be most proud to find out after death that, somehow, I managed to offend God Almighty with my sins while existing on this piece of dust called "earth.". In fact, if and when I meet with God after death, I will ask God if he is a Catholic? If He says yes, then I will tell him to his face, (if he has a face) that he has been and still is a LOUSY GOD to us Filipinos in the Philippines - the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century. Poch Suzara
Imagine God as invisible, a spirit, and moving in mysterious ways. Could there be anything else more imaginably ridiculous? Poch Suzara

Onan's Free Will

In Genesis 38, Onan was struck dead by God when he spilled his seed instead of impregnating his widowed sister-in-law as he had been commanded to do. His offense lay not in committing coitus interruptus, but refusing to do what tradition said he owed to his dead brother's memory. In any case, I ask: how free was Onan's free will as a gift from God? Poch Suzara
The church will never solve social problems such as poverty, squalor. and human misery. In fact, in order to guarantee its continued existence, as the church has been in existence for the past two thousand years, it's main business has always been to exacerbate and to perpetuate social problems. Poch Suzara
Faith is embracing the answer that seems to satisfy what we do not know. Meanwhile, faith in divinity is not a sign of humility, but a sign of immaturity at best, or at worst, stupidity. Poch Suzara

Silly Commandments of God

Fear of punishment in hell or the hope of reward in heaven is a pathetic way of living one's life with self-respect and dignity.. To begin with, the commandments of God have absolutely nothing to do whatsoever with the development of human intelligence or the cultivation of human benevolence - for one another! Indeed, the commandments of God serves not man but only God. Is God really that emotionally twisted in that he needs commandments for lesser and frightened beings to follow? Poch Suzara
Postmodernism is the ancient way of discarding modernism. It is a way of admitting
individually what one cannot accept as human improvements socially. Poch Suzara
A religion that seeks immunity from examination of its values, beliefs, and indeed practices is a religion that is obviously based on holy mendacity, if not sacred hypocrisy. Poch Suzara

Silly Logic

A remedy for a fallacious argument is not the evasion of the issue or dodging of the question, but simply, a more logical argument. Otherwise, why believe in something that no one knows nothing about? Poch Suzara

Death as a Nothing

Death is resting in everlasting peace. There is no more worry, troubles, work, planning, knowledge, wisdom in the world of the dead. Death is the world of nothing; yet, the frightened faithfools fear death as the beginning of something.

For my part, after I am dead, and I find there is life after death, I say NO WAY. I don't want to have to do anything with more prayers, novenas, Black Nazarene, bible studies, Retreats, prayer meetings, confession, mass, communion, indeed, I don't want to have anything to do with a Spanish, or American, or Jewish Savior. Or worst, I do not want to have to do anything with a God or an Allah and or a Yahweh or what-not. Over my dead body. Poch Suzara
How unkind of God to lead people to the edge of a cliff to test their faith in revelation. Isn't God already busy enough leading people not to fall into temptation? What's the purpose then of people's supplication. for divine intervention? Poch Suzara

The Faithfools

Instead of attaching more credibility to the power of a logic, the faithfools would rather submit to the fantastic claims of the Old and the New Testament explaining God's kind of silly magic. Poch Suzara

Divine Booboo

Never mind Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel, Noah and the rest of those silly bible characters. If God had only created first the Virgin Mary born without original Sin who gave birth to Jesus as His only begotten Son of God - our world would be a paradise today? In the meantime, I am most proud of God and His Virgin Mary. They practiced family planning and birth control measures. They only had one son, didn't they? Poch Suzara
Jesus was not born a Catholic. Even at the time of his baptism, there was not, as yet established - the Roman Catholic Church. So, as the song goes: what's going on?
