Filipino families believe themselves to be rich because they live in the expensive villages of Makati city. On the contrary, rich families, like rich individuals, are those precisely who are deeply involved with changing reality: they learn to refashion their goals and aims that help create a sane society. Two Kinds of Free Will

There are two kinds of free will – the phony and the real kind. The phony free will has only to do with the freedom of religion. The real free will has only to do with the freedom from religion. Quality of Life

The Church could not care less about the quality of life. For the sake of saving souls, what’s essential to the Church is the quantity of life. The more souls there are to be saved, the business is better for the Church. Thus, the evils of family planning and birth control practice – the only way the Church stays in business for wealth, power, and glory.
Yes, abortion is evil. Besides, it is no fun to kill a baby inside the mother’s womb. It’s called murder; and murder is a crime. What’s more fun, however, is to let the babies be conceived, let them be born, let them grow up a bit, give them a fighting chance, and then kill them. Kill them with malnutrition, filthy surroundings, parental neglect, diseases, or asphyxia from vehicular soot and lead. Indeed, many of the nation’s poor children play, trade, sell, eat and sleep, poo and pee, and God knows what else they do – in the streets of our major cities. What’s our purpose of being so overly concerned of babies not yet existing, and at the same time be stupid and apathetic to children not only already existing but also already dying? Isn’t this the height of religious hypocrisy? If we do not abandon our children in the streets, we abandon them in school. There, for the most part, they are taught not how to stand up to needs of the human race, but how to kneel down to divine grace. How to seek a life of piety by ignoring knowledge and wisdom that helps carry on a decent and a healthy society. Instead, they learn how to love divinity by hating humanity. Poch Suzara

Sex Experts

The Filipino boys and girls know everything there is to know about sex. They have, in the streets, acquired all the necessary information needed. As a matter of fact, these young boys and girls are such experts at making babies no matter what cost to society. They even know and duly accept that unwanted pregnancy is not really the result of irresponsible sex, but a wonderful product of God’s will. Poch Suzara

Our Women

Women – the most precious half of the whole of mankind – they are what mothers and grandmothers are made of; what wives and daughters are made of; what sisters and nieces and aunts are made of. And yet in the Philippines, we allow our poor women to live in the slum areas, to sweep our streets, to beg in the streets, to work as household maids or as hospitality girls in foreign countries. In fact, a vital component of the Philippine economy is based on prostitution, from which the men profit much more than the women, many of whom are employed, nay, enslaved by men. When we degrade the status of women, we degrade at the same time, children; especially the male children who grow up, if at all, dumbstruck as they generate our sick society. I ask: how may we survive as a nation if we continue to treat our women like they were 3rd class citizens of the Republic. Poch Suzara

Male and Female relationships

I do not know what the big fuss is all about between men and women relationships. G.B. Shaw wrote: “Man is woman and woman is man with the slight difference that does not matter, except on special occasions.”

Alfred De Musset wrote: “All men are liars, traitors, babblers, hypocrites, and strutters; all women are vain, artificial, and perfidious; but there is, in this world, one thing holy and sublime and that is the union of these imperfect beings.” Indeed, holy and sublime as it is, the union between a man and a woman – creates life. And what is life? Life is but a sexually transmitted disease with a mortality rate of 100 per cent.
Philosopher Bertrand Russell (1872-1970) in his 91th birthday summed it all up when asked” “What is old age? Russell replied: “ I consider old age a time to struggle for human decency – like any other.” Poch Suzara

On Raising Children

Raising children in the Philippines is just like raising pigs, chicken and cows: without regard to moral and intellectual capacity. Despite the increasing complexity of raising children for a happy, creative, and productive life, the task of parenthood remains in the hands of couples quite devoid of parental qualifications. There are colleges courses offered on how to raise pigs, chickens and cows in our universities, but none on how to properly raise children. There are millions of malnourished children in the Philippines today. They are abused – physically, emotionally, sexually, and economically. Not to mention poor prenatal and postnatal nutrition adversely have affected the functions of their brains. Let us not forget that our congressmen, senators, and theologians of today, not to mention college professors - were once Filipino children. I ask: Why should these children honor their mother and father? Suppose parents are selfish, greedy, stupid, and insane? Should children honor them? Honor is not something to be given. It must be earned. Parents who wish to be respected must behave so as to elicit respect. But what if parents were weak or degenerate or criminally negligent? Should children honor them? Copulation requires no especial strength of character. No high intelligence is required for a husband to impregnate his wife or lover. Consider the physical position that a man and woman must assume in order to multiply and replenish the earth. It has got to be one of the most ridiculous positions ever concocted by would-be mothers and would-be fathers. Yet, when children are born and they struggle to survive by living like animals eating garbage off the streets, we believe it a religious duty that they be taught God’s command – honor thy mother and thy father. What kind of childish nonsense is this? In the meantime, it is hard to believe in the salvation of those who work for the damnation of others: the pro-lifers who condemn hundreds of thousands of unwanted and unloved children to premature death due to hunger and diseases. These religious morons are even insisting that there is no such thing as population growth problem in the Philippines. Indeed, religion is the root of complacency and apathy that plagues our sick society. We believe it such a terrible sin against God to practice family planning and birth control. We ignore God’s greatest gift to man: - free will. We refuse to accept that babies born in the Philippines today each carry a message from God. The message is that poor and backward countries like the Philippines have shamelessly failed to utilize free will to develop a new set of moral values that should lead to humane social program for population control. To be entrusted with a large family is a great responsibility. To be entrusted with feeding, clothing, sheltering, educating, and loving a large family is a greater responsibility. But to acknowledge the fact that human overpopulation leads to the extinction of most other species that are needed to maintain the balance of nature is the greatest of responsibilities. The first law of ecology is that everything is connected to everything else in a delicate and complex web of interrelationships. It is therefore impossible to separate protection of human species from protection of natural ecosystems; they are two aspects of the same fundamental set of resources. With human population explosion we destroy the ecological system. Upon their destruction we will destroy too, eventually, ourselves. All for what? To please the sick religious morons in charge of our spiritual life as a people? Indeed, It is true, we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we shall carry nothing out. The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away. But then again, what was the purpose of the coming of the Lord and His promise to return if the beginning and end of this life in this world were about bringing nothing into this world and about taking nothing out of this world? If a Perfect God

If we do have free will, how come we never had the free choice to choose to be born in another galaxy of which, according to the science of astronomy, more than 100 BILLION galaxies exist out there to choose from. Daily Prayer

We pray to God to forgive us of our sins; but we also pray to God to “lead us not into temptation.” Perhaps, if we can only pray for the conversion of the devil to go back to the ways of the Lord, we will commit no more sins as there will be no more devil to make a mockery of our daily prayers. For my part, I said it before, I say it again: if you have high hopes in seeing your children grow up intelligent with self-respect and courageous with dignity, keep them away from the stupid priest frightening them to believe and to have faith in the stupid messages written as Revealed Truth in the holy bible.
