Christian Faith in the Mafia

Christian faith is to free inquiry what the Mafia is to free enterprise. For challenging Church authority the Inquisition was established in the 5th century. It lasted up to the 15th century. It exiled Copernicus, silenced Galileo, burned Bruno at the stake. Christian faith stood in the way of advancement of knowledge and the emancipation of the human mind under free thought and humanitarian ideals.
