Governments

Governments, before America existed, were established on the basis of so-called "divine rights" of Kings and Queens. Such governments were theocracies or "ruled by God" and therefore undemocractic, if not authoritarian. In the Philippines, we too have a government, though not of, by, and for the people; but a government for the high government officials.
