God and the Devil

An atheist does not believe in the existence of God. An atheist does not believe as well in the existence of the devil. Why not? After all, both supernatural beings are one and the same fictitious characters. Both are always in cahoots with each other. Both were created by frightened, if not dumbstruck religious morons - otherwise more known as the "inspired authors" of the silly holy bible. For my part, I always enjoyed reading the silly holy bible. It gave birth, growth, and maturity to my being a proud and a happy atheist. Poch Suzara

You know what is wrong with this train of thought? It seems you laughed at the apostles without thinking why the hell they did what they had done. As a critical thinker, have you ever been curious why the apostles worshiped Christ, a declared criminal?

The apostles during the crucifixion were hiding for they were afraid. All the courage they had when they were with Jesus crumbled when he was persecuted and died. BUT, suddenly after but a short three-day period, they reveal themselves and baptizes 3000 who also suddenly believed.

Did you ever think of how that happened? How do you explain that kind of human behavior?? You should be able to through common sense and science, right?

For them to suddenly have SOLID courage after that period until their death, something BIG, something GREAT could have happened to convince ALL 11 and triple a THOUSAND people that Christ is GOD. It's the resurrection.

Other than the Gospels, there is no evidence that there is this Jesus guy! He is a character of fiction.

Anonymous,
What I am curious about is why would Jesus, the son of the creator of the universe, himself gifted with the power to perform fantastic miracles need dumbstruck Jewish apostles to assist to do what? Jesus must have been a wimp? Poch Suzara

Because he is God, Almighty.
