MILLIONS OF FILIPINOS DO NOT SERIOUSLY READ THE BIBLE

It is so glaringly obvious that the editors of Philippine Star together with millions of ITS readers never bother to seriously read the bible from cover to cover. . . As a serious Bible reader myself during these past 20 years, I ask: could such silly verses written in the Bible put us in the right direction: "SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT TOMORROW, FOR TOMORROW WILL BRING ITS OWN WORRIES. TODAY'S TROUBLE IS ENOUGH FOR TODAY." Matt. 6:34. . . 'IF ANY MAN COME TO ME AND HATE NOT HIS FATHER AND MOTHER, WIFE AND CHILDREN, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, AND YEA, HIS OWN LIFE ALSO, HE CANNOT BE MY DISCIPLE." Luke 14:26. Where is our self-respect as a people if we follow and swallow this garbage from Jesus? Again, 'LOVE NOT THIS WORLD, NEITHER THE THINGS THAT ARE IN THE WORLD. IF ANY MAN LOVE THE WORLD, THE LOVE OF THE FATHER IS NOT IN HIM." 1John 2:25. Where is our dignity as a nation if we follow this Bible garbage as written by inspired authors of God?
