The Scientific Way
If you wish to prove that the scientific way of thinking is worthless, all you have to do is to prove with evidence that "evidence" is just as worthless; especially in the search of the truth which is precisely what science is all about - the search of the truth. If you can find the truth, more, much more than a Nobel Prize awaits you. Poch Suzara
Blind Faith
All of us children in school we were taught to cherish blind faith. Today as grown-ups we are even blind enough not to see that, for the most part, our schools, colleges, and universities are commercial enterprises, and educational institutions. Indeed, if we were a people educated with a vision of the here and the now, and educated with the power of reason, we would be not only be one of the richest people, but also one of the most advanced countries in Asia today. Bertrand Russell
Bertrand Russell wrote: "One of the painful things about our time is that those who feel certain are stupid and those with any imagination and understanding are filled with doubt and indecision." For my part, I am most proud that I am always full of doubt. Bertrand Russell may not have taught me how to become a professional philosopher; but he taught me how to be no longer a vacillating creature by having confidence in my own precious mind before believing the mind of others. Science Honesty
Faith-healers, astrologers, phrenologists, palmists, fortune tellers, magicians, crystal-gazers, ghosts, angels, devils are the playmates of the psuedoscientists. On the other hand, the true playmates of the scientists are reality, nature, observation, experimentation, and being honest as scientists cannot afford to be dishonest in the scientific community. We Are What We Are
We are what we are as a people partly because of Vatican trash. We are what we are as a nation partly because of Hollywood garbage. For my part, I envy the progress of human decency of other Asian countries not influenced by false values under the tradition of sacred, if not glamorous, lies. Poch Suzara

Thanks To My Free Wll
Thanks to my free will I am free to believe that there is no God. But thanks even more free will, I believe it necessary to tell grown-ups that there is no God; just as much as I also believe that it is also necessary to tell children that there is no Santa Claus. Poch Suzara
Eternity Existed
Eternity existed before we were born. Eternity will continue to exist after we are all dead and gone. Sadly, however, eternity does not seem to care whether we had lived briefly or had died eventually. And to think that we all begin to die as soon as we are born. The idea therefore is to live decent and wholesome lives not by wasting it preparing for the next life, as there isn't any. Poch Suzara
One Hundred Billion People
Approximately ONE BILLION people leave this world every 25 years or every generation. This means that more than 100 BILLION people have already lived and died on this earth since biblical times. Now if God could inspire authors to write the bible, wouldn't it be wonderful if the same God could inspire as well the theologians of today to give us a report as to just exactly how many people have been saved and made it to heaven? And how many people are already damned in hell? This report could be certified by Jesus who, according to biblical account, ascended bodily to heaven and there with him is his mother Mary, and his father Joseph including the saints. For my part, until I get such a report, I shall continue to be a happy and
a proud atheist till the day I die.
After I am dead, and I meet with God in the next world, I hope I get a chance to ask God: as a God with power and authority what exactly have you done to answer the daily prayers said by millions upon millions of Filipinos to save them away from poverty, especially spiritual poverty as a people; and, to straighten out the religious mess that's been keeping Philippines messy and backward economically as the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century? - Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#
No Labor Leaders
There are no labor leaders in the Philippines. There are, however, labor dealers who are in business for themselves at the expense of labor. Poch Suzara
In The Afterlife
If the afterlife, if any, I do not care to be with God in heaven or to be with Satan in hell. I would rather spend eternity with the likes of Bertrand Russell, Will Durant, Carl Sagan, Richard Dawkins, Robert G.Ingersoll, Tom Paine, Jose Rizal, and with my sweetheart, my lover, my sexual partner: - a dear and a trustworthy friend, my editor, my associate, a fellow-atheist, a rarity indeed, as she is that kind of woman to me that I thought existed only in dreams. Beliefs Cannot Promote
Beliefs cannot promote themselves. Beliefs need schools, colleges, and universities at best; at worst, however, it needs the army, navy, and the air force to promote such nonsense. As for the values of unbeliefs by way of doubt that promotes a rational way of living, all that is required are three simple skills: - critical thinking, evidential reasoning, and questioning authority. Three Certain Things
Aside from death and taxes that are certain, there is one more thing that's certain: you are your mother's child. Fathers are sometimes hard to determine even by mothers. Poch Suzara
The Priesthood Industry
The number one enemy of liberty has always been the priesthood industry. The priests have never accepted the power of free thought. Their teachings are still based on faith without which there is no such thing as the priesthood industry. Poch Suzara

It Does Not Matter
It does not matter to me if God does not believe in me. What's more important to me is that I do not care to believe in God. It is a heavy burden to believe in non-human beings that do not exist. Besides, if there is a God, why is he always out there instead of being down here with us everywhere? Poch Suzara

The Most Belittled Character
The most belittled character mentioned in the holy bible is Joseph. He was told by an angel of God that his wife Mary is still a virgin. Can you blame Joseph was being so dumbstruck? The day he found out about his wife's virginal condition, he refused to talk to any one. Not even to the bible inspired authors. Poch Suzara
Democracy versus Theocracy
Everything is a lesser evil in the Philippines; especially its democracy. It has as yet to put up with a greater evil: theocracy. Poch Suzara
Philippine Population
The population of the Philippines is composed of demons in the minority; fallen angels in the majority; and the rest are the misbegotten children of God. We got to be proud of something. After all, we were once the only and now the biggest Christian country in Asia. Poch Suzara

God is Good
God is good; sadly, however, not that good. God was good when He inspired the authors to write the holy bible; unfortunately, He was not that good when He forgot to inspire as well the best part of any book: - the readers. Poch Suzara
Kill The Evil Called Religion
Yes, we can kill the evil called religion with the power of thought. Unfortunately, religion has already made sure, with the crippling weapon of the threats of eternal punishment, that our power to think stays crippled for the rest of our lives. Poch Suzara
For God So Loved the World
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have life everlasting." God may have loved the world; but at the rate God allowed the world to beat up, scourge, spit, shove, push, hurt and nail his son Jesus crying and bleeding and dying on the cross, God obviously never loved the poor fellow. In the meantime, top management then in heaven were all like a bunch of silly theologians here on this earth. They thought it was such a great idea to crucify not the devil, or crucify the Talking Serpent, but put instead the son of God Jesus crucified on the cross to die for the sins of the world.
