Catholicism, Capitalism, and Criminalism

Catholicism and Capitalism survived profitably together during these past centuries not because either have been successful in selling the truth; on the contrary, both have been dealing with nothing but lies, deceptions, and indeed, corruption. The
victims of Catholicism are called the "faithful" "obedient" or "devout." The victims of Capitalism are called the "customers" "clients" "employees" or "laborers."

Countries victimized by Catholicism or by Capitalism or by both remain poor and backward. Look at the Philippines. Still stuck as a nation not only with
Catholicism, not only with Capitalism, but also with criminalism.

We are even proud to address our rich and powerful criminals in the government as "Your Honor." Those rich and powerful criminals behind the Church, we address them as "Your Holiness."

Indeed, life in general in the Philippines can be characterized as the competition to be the criminal or be the victim of the criminals. This, while daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly - we all feel blessed by God. Poch Suzara

Comment

Right on Poch! You have a darnd good point here! All these "Your Honor" and "Your Holiness" is total crap when applied here! And to think that we truly honor these people and bow and salute them everywhere! It would be so funny if it wasn't so sad

The Bible - Throw it Out the Window

You believe in a book that has talking animals, wizards, witches, demons, sticks turning into snakes, food falling from the sky, people walking on water, dead people raised back to life, and all sorts of magical, absurd, and primitive stories, and you are asking me to explain why there is something wrong with me as I say that the bible is a book that is best thrown out the window?

Sir, to label atheism as a psychological problem is a feeble, indeed, a laughable attempt to evade the real issue of truth versus falsehoods. Are your beliefs true? What reasons have you people to believe in the existence of God? Your dismal attempts to defeat my atheism by evading the power of thought reveals only one shameless thing: your contempt for man's ability to think! Poch Suzara

Politician and the Theologian

A good politician is quite as unthinkable as a good theologian. In the Philippines, however, if either were good, both are usually good for something; unfortunately, to accomplish for our poor and backward country - plenty of nothing. Poch Suzara

I love the Devil

When I got to be an atheist, I began to respect the devil more and more. He bothered me less and less; especially, during my childhood years - he was always leading me into temptation to always love, worship, and adore God . Poch Suzara

Big Business globally

To frighten and to disunite people, via religion, is big business. In the Philippines it is otherwise more known as Catholicism.

To divide and to kill people, via war, is also big business. In America, it is more known as freedom to protect or the democracy to defend - capitalism. Poch Suzara

The Power to Think

A man of faith is simply one who has lost the intellectual capacity to understand that what differs a man from the animal is his power to think. Indeed, the power to think strengthens not only the human character, but also sustains human dignity and self-respect. Poch Suzara

Nothing is at Rest

Everything in the universe is in constant motion. Nothing is at rest. In fact, life
is nothing but tired energy that nature thoughtlessly makes it believe that energy has found the time to rest. There is no such luck anywhere in the universe. Poch Suzara

Stupidity same as Infinity

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe." Albert Einstein If I may add, isn't it sad that our schools, colleges, and universities in the Philippines, for the most part, have been mostly about how to learn to have faith in human stupidity; specially for the sake of embracing, protecting, and defending Christianity otherwise more mysteriously known as the Holy Trinity. The Religious Morons

The religious morons cannot afford to honest with themselves. In fact, they can only afford to ignore the truth that an atheist like me is more familiar, more conversant, more at ease with the holy bible - their book. In the meantime, the religious morons are just reliable at parroting their teachers in school, if not parroting their silly Jewish savior as to what is anything childish, mindless or thoughtless. To think that the Jewish Savior of Filipinos never even attended grade school or high school. Even his 12 apostles were ignorant fishermen who never acquired college education. Poch Suzara

Human Civilization

It is preoccupation with possessions, more than anything else, that prevents men from living freely and nobly. Bertrand Russell If I may add, it is the wish of gaining eternal salvation after death with God in heaven, more than anything else, that prevents men from getting involved with the works needed to polish the growth and the beauty of human civilization. Poch Suzara

Jose Rizal's Enemies

What kind of men needed to see Rizal dead, discarded and forgotten? Were they men of reason, logic, science or philosophy? Were they avid readers, critical thinkers, or scientific investigators? Were they men at home with civilized humanity? No! On the contrary, Rizal’s enemies were the friends of blind faith: - the superstitious primitives, the sanctimonious hypocrites, and those indeed who were selfish, greedy, corrupt, stupid, and insane. Rizal’s enemies of a hundred years ago, are still the same enemies we have today. They are the ones insisting that it makes no difference whether Rizal retracted from his religious, political and philosophical principles or not. After all, they claim, that in the end, Rizal retracted and died not as a heretic, but as a penitent Catholic. What an infantile conclusion to bestow upon the greatest of Filipino thinkers who died for the freedom of the Filipino minds and hearts, and indeed, died for the liberation of our brutally Christianized country. Shame, shame, shame on you - the gutless, the thoughtless, the worthless! You who call yourselves “Knights of Rizal.” You who would not rise to defend the greatness of our national hero, but you would readily rise to defend first or to protect even up to the present the wealth, power, and glory of his insane enemies - the priest behind the Catholic Church. In the meantime, due to its teachings via schools, colleges, and universities the Catholic church still is in control of the Filipino minds and hearts. In this way, the greatest Filipino, Jose Rizal, is said to be a nothing compared to the bigger, taller, and wiser Savior known as the Jewish Son of God Jesus in the Philippines. Poch Suzara

Births and Deaths in our World

How many deaths daily in the world? 160,000 deaths daily with about 360,000 new births daily to replace them. Which is why we have to end the population boom. It spells nothing but the stupidity of a global doom! Poch Suzara

Jose Rizal, the enemy of Lies and Deceptions

Can you name me one Filipino as product of college education in any of our prestigious universities such as La Salle, Ateneo, AIM, Assumption college, University of the Santo Thomas, and so on - who has substantially contributed to the betterment of our society? Especially by exposing with intellectual guts the religious lies and political deceptions that is keeping us poor as a people and keeping us backward as a nation? In fact, who has exposed the religious lies and political deceptions that have historically kept us Filipinos famous as the Sick Man of Asia? I don't know about you guys and gals. I can only name you one great Filipino - Jose Rizal. To think that the power, wealth, and glory that had him executed is more, much more in power, wealth, and glory in our country today - the Catholic Church - the owners of Ateneo and UST where Jose Rizal had already began to question intellectually the sensibility of his Catholic education. Poch Suzara

The Greatest Atheist of the Philippines

Poch:

I know of a person that would qualify AND THAT WOULD BE NO OTHER THAN POCH SUZARA. Let us ask your friend Mar P to get the ball rolling and he would work on your behalf since you have done so much for the cause of atheism. I will recommend that the award will be named as the Bertrand Russell Outstanding Atheism Award. We will ask Louie, the Alchemist to make you a nice gold medallion shaped like a pooch. It does not matter that you were expelled or did not graduate from a university or college. You are still the GREATEST ATHEIST that ever lived! Congratulations!

All the best,
Ben Rivera

Jesus - the Jewish Savior of all Filipinos

What school did your Savior Jesus Christ attended to or enrolled at? Which among the 12 apostles of Jesus acquired college degree. And how come you believe that such a non-schooled Jewish fellow born of non-schooled Jewish parents in a poor and backward land is not only your Savior, is not only the Savior of all Filipinos, but also the Savior of all mankind?

Now my dear, as a high school expelled thinking student, I do not as I cannot claim to save your silly soul. But the least I could try to do is to save your mind and heart. After all, we are all born ignorant, not frightened. We are made frightened by acquiring Catholic education in the Philippines. Poch Suzara

Time to Sell the University of the Philippines

For: Mar Patalinjug
New York, New York,

Dear Mar,
TIME TO SELL THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES

May I suggest something even more drastic? If we Filipinos truly desire to enjoy self-respect as a people and dignity as a nation, not only the University of the Philippines, but more so the more than one thousand (1,000) schools, colleges and universities all be dismantled and abolished out of our Asian landscape.

But how this be possible, since the Catholic Church already owns most of what comprises the Philippines - most of its natural resources, prime land, agricultural farms, banks, hospitals, TV stations, radio stations, newspapers, etc. Not to mention also in control of the Philippine government as how stuck it should remain; especially when it comes to moral, legal, and economic direction for the Philippines as a nation. Look at our government politicians: they are all amenable to the Catholic bishops - the power behind the Catholic church as its powerful theologians!

Millions of us Filipinos are "educated" yearly to believe that this life is no good; but that there is, however, a better life to come only after death. Indeed, as the holy bible states: "Love not this world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man (any Pinoy) love the world, (the Philippines) the love of the Father (the Pope) is not in him." 1 John 2:15.

Is it really that complicated to see how and why we Filipinos only love the Catholic divinity up there while; we have no common sense together to generate common Filipino decency in our own country down here?

In the meantime, the richest bank in the world, far richer than the United States Federal Reserve Bank is the VATICAN BANK OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.

Oh yes, I repeat: The Catholic church has always had a vested interests in Filipino misery. Christian doctrines do not make sense unless viewed in this context.

Indeed, the spectacular success of the Catholic church in the Philippines, more than any other religion, have and still do capitalize on Filipino suffering; and it was enormously successful in insuring its own existence through the perpetuation of misery and suffering as a way of Filipino life in general in the Philippines. Of course, in Catholic schools, colleges, and Catholic universities, we were never taught how to be miserable or how to suffer. On the contrary, we were, instead, taught to SACRIFICE in this life so that benefits may be rewarded in the life to come after death with God in heaven. We must only invest, so to speak, in this life, and collect interest in the next world with God in His Kingdom. Profitably for the Catholic Church, the billions of Filipino who, down through the centuries, already died cannot resurrect to demand for a refund. Poch Suzara

On Barbara C. Gonzales

. . . I realized late in my life that the Catholic Church in the Philippines ordered Jose Rizal executed and never once apologized for it. I think they should apologize for theircruel misdeed. But they never have. Anyway, to me, all religions are man-made, a way for man to discipline himself without taking responsibility, actually, an escape from responsibility. I think I am now, if I have to be anything at all, what other people call a freethinker. I think therefore I am and take full responsibility for myself." Barbara C. Gonzales wrote in her column in the Philippine Star today, Aug. 27, 2011

Well, I must say I am so proud of you Barbara. You are a courageous woman. A thinking Filipina. A rarity among women of the Philippines. As you are a distant relative of Jose Rizal, I must also add, if only more and more women of the Philippines possessed your intellectual courage - we Filipinos need no longer be famous as the Sick Man of Asia.

I said it before, I say it again: In this already 21st century, it is time for us Filipinos to be more and more "Rizalistic" as a people by being less and less of a "Catholic" as a country of Asia since we have been in the 16th century. Indeed, it is time for us Filipinos to catch up with rest of the Asian countries growing and developing. They are substantiating the ideas and ideals of our own Jose Rizal publicly executed by the Catholic Church in the Philippines more than a century ago. Poch Suzara, Freethinker

Old Age in this world

Old age, like any other age, is the time to struggle for human decency. Bertrand Russell

I agree entirely. In the Philippines, however, old age, like my age, is the time
to struggle against garbage and trash. It is more known as the garbage behind political corruption; and, the trash behind biblical revelation. Poch Suzara
