God-Believers and Preachers

It is interesting to observe the God-believers try to prove the existence of God precisely by proving the existence of human ignorance. Each scientific achievement has been resisted on the grounds that man must never ”play God.” Yet, when science has succeeded in harnessing the atom, conquered a disease, landed on the moon, produced the computer, invented the cell-phone, etc. – the God-believers have taken great pride in boasting about the new problems we have created for ourselves. The assumption is that the God of ignorance cannot be conquered by mere mortals. So the existence of unsolved problems proves the existence of “God.” To worship “God” therefore is to worship ignorance.

In the meantime, most Filipino preachers today, especially of the Libreo, or worst – the “love to all” bullshit variety from our Danding on these pages, make no bones about God being a panacea. They spend their sermon-writings enumerating all the problems of atheism; then at the end, they declare that everything from hate to violence and war, and poor logic, if not our sick and insane society would suddenly vanish if everyone would only “turn back to love God.”

There was, indeed, a period “back” there when everyone man, woman, and child in this world did “turn to love God” and His priests, just as the preachers plead. We call that period the DARK AGES. Poch Suzara

The free will Bullshit

It is written in the holy bible: “God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things that are mighty.” 1 Cor. 1:27 Well, here’s more free will bullshit from the same holy bible: “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock. And it shall be opened unto you; for everyone that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that To think that for more than 400 years now we Filipinos, proud of our free will, so deep in our faith in God - have not ceased asking, have not ceased seeking, have not ceased knocking – only to be told over and over again by God’s rich and powerful agents or representatives that we must only repeat the request, or do it again and again, or pray harder, never give up, and never lose faith because God is good and kind and loving. The daily bread for everyone will be coming very soon for all Filipinos to enjoy in the Philippines. In the meantime, since 1990s about 15,000,000 (million) Filipinos have already migrated to live and work in some 168 foreign countries most of them non-christian countries enjoying not only a higher standard of living, enjoying not only a higher standard of thinking, but also enjoying the availability of a government that works in such foreign countries. Human Knowledge

Knowledge is not only power, it is priceless. By applying knowledge we can make our future what we wish it to be. Indeed, in life, we will always find what we are looking for. Or, what we can conceive, we can achieve. When we realize that our present character, our present status in life, our present ability or disability, our present health or the lack of it are all the result of past methods of thinking, we shall begin to have some conceptions of the value and the power of knowledge.

As to what exactly is happening to us - the Sick Man of Asia in this already 21st century living in a hopeless, directionless, if not aimless nation, HELLO you millions of college educated Christians!

In the meantime, a nation that believes there is a better world to come out there after death is not likely to give attention to the needs of the next generation. Poch Suzara

I am a Lunatic too

We are all insane in our sick society. We are, indeed, the Sick man of Asia. But I am exceptionally even more insane. I fact, I am an enlightened lunatic. I am able to analyze my own delusions.

In the meantime, my college educated friends and relatives are provoked by what I write in my Thoughts to Provoke Your thoughts Blog: They never miss to respond to it quite proudly with these words: “Bakit pa ako kailangan magisip; sasakit lang ang ulo ko.” Poch Suzara

The Fool

The fool says in his heart, “there is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is none that does good.” Psalms 14:1 Really? If God created man in his own image and likeness, why would God create the fools who would deny His own existence? In the meantime, take a good look at the high officials of the Philippine government. Look how they are all corrupt and always doing abominable deeds for each other’s profit, and there is none that does good for the people. But they all share something equal in common together – they all love, worship, and adore God and Jesus, the son of God! Poch Suzara

Insanity of Perplexity

There is simplicity in complexity, and complexity in simplicity that it is very difficult to say which one is the logical or mathematical perplexity.

Nay more. There is order in the nature of chaos. There is also chaos in the nature of order. As if these were not enough to boggle the mind, here’s more: there is much insanity in the best of us, and much insanity in the worst of us, that it is difficult to say which of us is really sane as the rest of us.

In the meantime, in the ultimate analysis, as we surely know nothing about nothing, God in the insane SILLY bible tells us to: “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” John 2:15 Poch Suzara

God as Designer

God as the designer of existence raises more problems than it solves: who designed the Designer? In the meantime, the bible says: “In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground: for out of it was thou taken: for dust art thou and unto dust shalt thou return.” Genesis 3:19 Well, if God designed man in his own image and likeness, and man is made of dust, then God must be a Supernatural Dust himself. For my part, I refuse to believe, love, worship, and adore such a Dust be it someone supernatural, celestial, universal, or extra-terrestrial. Poch Suzara

God – the Atheist

God’s first commandment: “thou shall have no other Gods before me.”
Obviously, God was an atheist. He did not believe in the existence of other Gods.
The question, however, is where did those other Gods come from? Who among the supernatural creators created such Gods? Poch Suzara

The Height of Ridiculosity

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all of thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and the great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” Matt. 22: 37-39

This commandment is, indeed, the height of ridiculosity. After loving God with all of thy heart, with all of thy soul, and with all of thy mind – what energy and time have we left for any of us to love wife, mother and father, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, and neighbor, not to mention to love also ourselves? The Filipino is Worth Thinking For

Ninoy Aquino said: “The Filipino is worth dying for.” He is now one of the great heroes of the Philippines. Filipinos killed him. Ninoy Aquino could have been more honest and truthful had he, instead, said: “The Filipino is worth thinking for." Especially to help him change his mind to accept only what is true and to reject what is false. Most of the cherished beliefs of the Filipinos - the Sick Man of Asia - are based upon ancient superstition, lies, and deception. And they even hold college diplomas, masters, and doctorate degrees to prove it. Poch Suzara Google# Atheists# Facebook# Twitter#

Something to be Grateful for

In this world of lies and hypocrisy, sins and crimes, pain and suffering, war and death - there is always something to be grateful for. Indeed, for my part, I am grateful to my simple intelligence that I am no longer a Catholic. With enough guts I could then muster, I proudly walked out of the Catholic Church when I got to be 18 years old.

Never have I ever felt a painful load off my back since I began to entertain the thought that there is no God existing anywhere on this earth or anywhere else in the universe. Poch Suzara

Jose Rizal and Jesus Christ

I dedicate this piece to the millions of college-educated Pinoys and Pinays still frightened of the Catholic authority that had our Jose Rizal arrested, incarcerated, and executed. I have every respect and admiration for Jose Rizal. His dream, he wrote to a Spanish governor-general was “my country’s prosperity. . . “I would like the Filipino people to become worthy, noble, and honorable.” Rizal was executed to death for writing the exact opposite of what Christianity was teaching the Filipino people to believe and to have faith in. Here’s what the Founder of Christianity, Jesus Christ and his teachings as written in the holy bible: “If any man come to me and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:26. Here’s more from Jesus Christ, the Prince of peace, the Savior of the world: “But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them for me.” Luke 19:27 In the meantime, as the only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century, look how we are neither worthy nor noble or honorable as a people. In fact, for the love of Jesus Christ up there, we do not love our own country down here. We are, indeed, the Sick Man of Asia. It has been more than a hundred years ago, but we continue to abet, tolerate, and applaud the arrest and incarceration and death of our own Jose Rizal by firing squad as authorized and approved by the followers and disciples of Jesus Christ. For my part, as an atheist and a proud Filipino, I consider Rizal’s message to the Filipino far more sane than all the insane message derived from the silly bible. Jose Rizal tried to make us feel that we belong to each other; that we are all related; and that we have a country to love; and that we Filipinos must look into our own welfare by having our own government of the Filipino, by the Filipino, and for the Filipino. As it is and as it has been, the killers of our Jose Rizal are still here pretty much in full control of our system of education, still manipulating our system of government, still dictating values and beliefs for us to cherish. Therefore, for the glory of God in heaven, we must only carry on with our sick and destructive way of life in this only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century. For the sake of social and political sanity, I say it is time that the historical religious malarkey be dumped out of our senses, our of our community, indeedm out of our country. Poch Suzara

Resurrection

Jesus in the bible said: “I am the resurrection and life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believeth thou this.” John 11:25-26 Can any of you faithful believers explain in simple language this horror: What are the millions of faithful and devoted Christians including our own loved-ones doing dead and buried and rotting in the lifeless Catholic cemetery established in this only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century? We are all born because DAD fucked MOM

We all need sex. It is a biological need like food and drink. Indeed, as long as we enjoy health - we all get hungry for sex. It is part of a healthy and a clean life. Paradoxically, however, sex is dirty especially when we do it right. life is a sexually transmitted disease with a mortality rate of 100 per cent. We all arrived on this earth because of the fucking activity between mom and dad. Sadly, no one recovers from the disease called birth, the most fatal of diseases if ever there was one. I ask you young women: have you ever met an old man who is able to write down in clear sentences his philosophy of life, love and sex? Nay, have you ever met a old man who manages to stimulate not what’s in between your legs, but manages instead to intellectually provoke what’s in between your ears? In the meantime, I do not regret getting old. Old age, Bertrand Russell taught me, is the time, like any other time, to struggle for human decency. Sadly, I have lots of friends and relatives and associates who, instead of living in pursuit of mental health for the sake of promoting mental wealth, they would rather live a life of fear, a life of mediocrity, especially for the sake of kneeling down faithfully to a fucking divinity. Original Sin as a theory

Charles Darwin discovered that the created world is still expanding and human life is still evolving. One therefore cannot fall from perfection if there is no finished creation.

Evolution is always a fact, not a theory. Every living thing around us, including ourselves, is constantly evolving. It is the “Original Sin” that has always been and still is a theory. Indeed, how is it explainable that man could be guilty of the Original Sin since no man has ever originated anything to begin with? Poch Suzara

Billions of People

Poverty is what’s wrong with the poor. Insanity is what’s wrong with the rich.

What’s wrong with the Middle class, however, is that they are still trying to figure out whether they are going backward into poverty or going forward into insanity.

In the meantime, billions of people - poor, rich, and of the middle class have already lived and died on this earth since the time of Jesus Christ. If any of them were now enjoying life everlasting with Jesus in heaven, how come all of them are just still there - bodily dead and spiritually buried all rotting in the cemetery? Poch Suzara

Life as a Series of Booboos

I am told that the two hardest test in life are: the patience to wait for the right moment; the courage to make the wrong moments right.

In either case, however, whichever choices we make, in the end, life will still be nothing but a series of mistakes, errors, blunders, and booboos. Indeed, it is all about being wrong again and again! We are all victims, not the masters of accident called life. There is chaos in order. There is order in chaos. Simple systems give rise to complex behavior. Complex systems give rise to simple behavior.

With success in life comes failure and eventually death. With failure in life comes success and eventually death. Both success and failure equally disastrous. In either case, however, it is difficult to say which of us have not been fucked as the rest of us. No matter who we are or where we live and work.

I ask: how can any of us be hopeful for a better future where, no matter what we do or don’t do, our lives are bound up in constant repair. We are endlessly mending and patching and adjusting. Our leaders are endlessly praying, lamenting, apologizing, and promising. In the meantime, there is no escape. Each unfolding reality for each and every one of us contains the seed of its own destruction and the embryo of a new reality that will replace it?

In the meantime, something tells me, that in the long run the power of eternal love is actually based on nothing but a lot of temporary bullshit. For my part, I would rather attach value not to the power of love, but on the power of thought. There is nothing quite like it in all of nature. Poch Suzara

Santa Claus

Santa Claus has always been greedy and selfish, stupid and insane. He visits and gives goodies to children not daily, not weekly, not monthly, but only once yearly. What a laughable clown in the circus of doing charitable works for millions of poor children starving everyday in this so-called “God so loved the world.” Poch Suzara

The Average Pinay

I regret to admit, based upon my variegated experiences with the average Pinays - they fear to intellectually explore the difference with lust and love. They do not fear, however, to get themselves invaginated or impregnated.

They have been raised and educated to believe that they are doing God’s work if they propagate and replenish the Philippines with more babies. Indeed, 3 babies are born every minute of the day and night in our poor and backward country. Most of them neither loved nor wanted as they suffer from malnutrition – the number one cause for mental retardation. Thus, what is spreading in the Philippines is neither prosperity nor common human decency, but misery and squalor, and poverty; especially poverty of the worst kind – the poverty of the mind and heart. To Find God

“To find God, we must be willing to seek Him.” Oct. 30, 2009.

Why is this so? What kind of a God is that who is always omni-absent as He is no where to be found anywhere?” Poch Suzara
