Contrary to the basic assumptions of our times, it is not material circumstances that shape our lives, but human consciousness. Since we hardly have any, thanks to our obsolete system of education, and except for our great accomplishment in corruption as a way of life, we continue to live empty, if not broken lives accomplishing nothing as a people or even going anywhere as a nation.
