There exist far more private Security Guards doing their job at protecting assets and properties of banks, stores, hospitals, clinics, schools, resorts, movie theaters, tv and radio stations, commercial enterprises and residential villages in our country than there are Policemen and NBI agents combined doing their job at protecting the lives of millions of Catholics in the Philippines - the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century.
Under these horrors, the morons at CNN, Philippines, say that the Filipinos are a happy people. Indeed, the media, whether local or foreign are more in tune with programs that are marketable - what will sell, not what is true. In other words, entertainment first; never mind truthful information or a healthy system of education, or for that matter - never mind law and order, health and sanitation in our poor and country.
