On the cross, Jesus even cried out: “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do?” If Jesus had instead asked Man to forgive God for he knows not what he is doing, Jesus would have won the hearts and minds of the whole of mankind as his follower, and he need not have been a failure and a loser in the business of saving souls as was His divine mission.
