All the social improvements, economic progress, political developments, and religious miracles; not to mention the lies and deception and delusions and other historical confusions happening daily to Filipinos in the Philippines are considered blessings from God from heaven. It only proves one thing: - we are, indeed, the Sick Man of Asia!
But then again, why should we Filipinos bother to grow as a people and to mature as
a nation since we have been educated to believe that God will provide for us; if not Jesus, the son of God, will soon return to remedy the ills of our sick society. Poch Suzara
