Heroic Lives

Thanks to our sick system of education, our young men and young women out of our sick schools, sick colleges, and sick universities have neither the taste, nor the guts, nor the gumption to live heroic lives for the growth and development of our country. Bertrand Russell explained: Heroic lives are inspired by heroic ambitions, and the young man who thinks there is nothing important to be done is pretty sure to do nothing important. For my part, as a senior citizen, and the "Father of Atheism" in the Philippines, I said it before, I say it again: old age, like any other age, is the time to struggle for Filipino decency to spread throughout our country.
