Children as the Greatest of Natural Resources

Children are the greatest of natural resources in any country. Thanks to a sick system of education, however, children, like most children in the Philippines are good; sadly, only good for nothing. Indeed, the intelligent way of life are usually inspired by an intelligent system of education; but the young man and the young woman who have been taught to believe there is nothing important to achieve in this world is pretty sure to achieve nothing important in this life. When Exactly was the Death of Jesus

Every year, during the past 2014 years, the birth of Jesus is celebrated on December 25 more referred to as Christmas Day. Every year also, during the past 2014 years, the death of Jesus is commemorated during the Lenten season as nobody seems to know just when exactly or where exactly Christ was crucified and when exactly he died on the cross. In fact, according to Luke 23:33 Jesus was crucified and died in Calvary; but according to St. John 19:15 Jesus was crucified in Golgotha, a place of the skull. But then again, according to Acts 5:30 Jesus was not crucified dead on a cross, but was hanged dead on a tree. Poch Suzara Twitter # Facebook# Google#

Paying Taxes

Paying taxes to a corrupt government is not only being patriotic; it is also being a good catholic. After all, in our one and only Catholic Republic - God needs money too! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Why are We Atheists Angry with God since We do not believe in His existence?

If we atheists do not believe in the existence of God, why are we atheists angry at Him? Well, if God does exists why would he punish atheists forever in hell for not believing in his existence? We atheist do not believe in the existence of God not because we reject the idea of death. In fact, what we reject is the idea that there is a better life to come but only after death with God in heaven. If God could not love us in this life on this planet, why should we bother to believe that there is a God who will love us in the hereafter since to begin with there never was a herebefore? In the meantime, to believe that a God will give a hoot but only after we are dead, and not while we are still alive is an insult to human intelligence! A blow against human dignity. Shame on You - King of Saudi Arabia

Eastern Germany is perhaps the least religious region in the world. Atheism is embraced by young and old, though even more so by younger Germans. One study in September 2012 was unable to find a single person under 28 who believed in a god. The popular explanation for this is the aggressive atheist policies of the German Democratic Republic. However, the atheist policies of East Germany's Socialist Unity Party of Germany only existed for the first few years. After that, the state allowed churches to have a relatively high level of autonomy. Also, the same high numbers of atheists don't exist in the other European countries that have a history of Soviet occupation, except for the Czech Republic and Estonia. Another explanation could be the secular movements during the Weimar Republic which were strongest in the states of Thuringia and Saxony. Also, it was the Protestant areas of the Eastern Bloc that tended to turn irreligious under Communist rule the most. The most atheist parts of the former Soviet bloc were usually once the most Protestant (East Germany, Estonia, and most of Latvia), and the Czech Republic is the only one that was once mainly Catholic (although having the largest Protestant share following the above three). Christianity still has a notable presence in the rest of Germany, though far less than in America. There is an atheist majority in Hamburg. Now the king of Saudi Arabia has recently declared in public that all atheists should be branded as "terrorists." In the meantime after more than 6 months since the horror of the greatest "typhoon Yolanda" disaster destroyed virtually the whole of Tacloban city in Leyte - the atheists German government are still there helping out the hundreds of thousands of Filipino victims left without food, without water, without shelter, without hospitals, without roads, etc. - but the Muslims believers from Saudi Arabia are no where there doing humanitarian work. Shame on you King of Saudi Arabia! Poch Suzara

College in the Philippnes

College - A place where you spend a ton of money for a piece of paper that says you're qualified. Indeed, qualified to have have faith in God; qualified also to be selfish, greedy, stupid, insane, and corrupt; especially in the Philippines where, in order to qualify to be a congressman or a senator you must first acquire a college diploma. Suicide in the Philippines

Suicide in the Philippines is a sin and a crime. Self-flagellation, however, which is a form of temporary suicide, during the Lenten season in the Philippines, is neither a sin nor a crime. It is a virtue - a way to save one's soul away from eternal punishment or away from eternal damnation. Wow, even the Department of Health backs the church on discouraging self-flagellation practiced in the provinces for the glory of Jesus on earth as he is in heaven! God's glory

"God's glory shines through His creation." Phil Star, April 16, 2014. Indeed, God's glory shines through His creation; especially through the corrupt maka-dios Congress and corrupt maka-Jesus senate of the Philippines - the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century. Jesus, the Devil, and Our Sins

The Christians, Muslims, and the Jews

The Christians, the Muslims, and the Jews, historically, always at war against each other, have been cutting each other's throats simply because they cannot agree as to what will happen to them after their throats have been cut. In the meantime, we are told that atheists have no morals because they do not believe in God. No Kidding? Have any of you ever heard of atheists always at war and killing other atheists because they do not believe in God? For my part, as an atheist, I say: so God exist. So what? How come God is only always omni-absent; never omni-present? Where is God? How come he is never existing here nor there nor existing anywhere or everywhere? Even if his nickname is Allah or Yahweh! Recycled Garbage

Recycled garbage is one of the greatest, most wonderful, if not the most useful of inventions. Sadly, however, the most despicable, most deplorable, indeed, most horrible of human inventions are the recycled politics and recycled religion always in cahoots together keeping our society historically sick and insane as ever.

The Power of the Scientific Way of Thinking

There is a single light of science, and to brighten it anywhere is to brighten it everywhere. Isaac Asimov Science is a way of thinking much more than it is a body of knowledge. Carl Sagan The secret of science is to ask the right questions, and it is the choice of problem more than anything else that marks the man of genius in the scientific world. Sir Henry Tizard Science relies on -- and insists on -- self-questioning, testing and analytical thinking that make it hard to fool yourself or to avoid facing facts. Pseudoscience, on the other hand, preserves the ancient, natural, irrational, unobjective modes of thought that are hundreds of thousands of years older than science -- thought processes that have given rise to superstitions and other fanciful and mistaken ideas about man and nature -- from voodoo to racism; from the flat earth to the house-shaped universe with God in the attic, Satan in the cellar and man on the ground floor; from doing rain dances to torturing and brutalizing the mentally ill to drive out the demons that possess them. Pseudoscience encourages people to believe anything they want. It supplies specious "arguments" for fooling yourself into thinking that any and all beliefs are equally valid. Science begins by saying, let's forget about what we believe to be so, and try by investigation to find out what actually is so. These roads don't cross; they lead in completely opposite directions. Republic Act. No. 1425 or the Rizal Laws Promulgated 50 years ago

Whatever happened to the Republic Act No. 1425 or the Rizal Laws in schools, colleges, and universities in the Philippines that says: An Act to Include in the Curricula of All Public and Private Schools, Colleges and Universities courses on the Life Works and Writings of JOSE RIZAL, particularly his novels NOLI ME TANGERE and EL FILIBUSTERISMO, Authorizing the Printing and Distribution Thereof, and for Other Purposes. Whereas, today, more than other period of our history, there is a need for a re-dedication to the ideals of freedom and nationalism for which our heroes lived and died. Whereas, it is meet that in honoring them, particularly the national hero and patriot, Jose Rizal, we remember with special fondness and devotion their lives and works that have shaped the national character; Whereas, the life, works and writings of Jose Rizal particularly his novels Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, are a constant and inspiring source of patriotism with which the minds of the youth, especially during their formative and decisive years in school, should be suffused. Whereas, all educational institutions are under the supervision of, and subject to regulation by the State, and all schools are enjoined to develop moral character, personal discipline, civic conscience, and to teach the duties of citizenship; Now therefore, Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled SEC.1 Courses on the life, works and writings of Jose Rizal, particularly his novels Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, shall be included in the curricula of all schools, colleges and universities, public or private; Provided, That in the collegiate courses, the original or unexpurgated editions of the Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo or their English translations shall be used as basic texts. The Board of National Education is hereby authorized and directed to adopt forthwith measures to implement and carry out the provisions of this Section, including the writing and printing of appropriate primers, readers and textbooks. The Board shall, within sixty (60) days from the effectivity of this Act promulgate rules and regulations, including those of a disciplinary nature, to carry out and enforce the regulations of this Act. The Board shall promulgate rules and regulations providing for the exemption of students for reason of religious belief stated in a sworn written statement, from the requirement of the provision contained in the second part of the first paragraph of this section; but not from taking the course provided for in the first part of said paragraph. Said rules and regulations shall take effect thirty (30) days after their publication in the Official Gazette. SEC.2 It shall be obligatory on all schools, colleges and universities to keep in their libraries an adequate number of copies of the original and expurgated editions of the Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, as well as Rizal’s other works and biography. The said unexpurgated editions of the Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo or their translations in English as well as other writings of Rizal shall be included in the list of approved books for required reading in all public or private schools, colleges and universities. The Board of National Education shall determine the adequacy of the number of books, depending upon the enrollment of the school, college or university. SEC.3 The Board of National education shall cause the translation of the Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, as well as other writings of Jose Rizal into English, Tagalog and the principal Philippine dialects; cause them to be printed in cheap, popular editions; and cause them to be distributed, free of charge, to persons desiring to read them, through the Purok organizations and the Barrio Councils throughout the country. SEC.4 Nothing in this Act shall be construed as amending or repealing section nine hundred twenty-seven of the Administrative Code, prohibiting the discussion of religious doctrines by public school teachers and other persons engaged in any public school. SEC.5 The sum of three hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any fund not otherwise appropriated in the National Treasury to carry out the purposes of this Act. SEC.6 This Act shall take effect upon its approval. For my part, I asked it before, I ask it again: If the Rizal Laws were faithfully and gracefully enforced within the system of education in schools, colleges, and universities, how come Jesus Christ, a foreigner, a Jew born in a Jewish land some 2,000 years ago is still more loved, more admired, more respected, more followed and venerated than our own Jose Rizal - an intellectual giant, our national hero, born in the Philippines some 200 years ago? Oh God, What the Holy Bullcrap is going on

"For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16. Now, unsurprisingly, this same God in the bible tells us to "love not this world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." 1 John 2:15. I asked it before, I ask it again: If God so loved the world, why would this same God tell us to love not this same world? Can any of you religious saps and ecclesiastical jerks explain what the holy bullcrap is going on? Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Philippines not as a Republic, but as a Catholic Country

Spain conquered the Philippines with the sword in one arm and the cross on the other. The arm that held the sword had been cut away, as it were. The arm that holds the cross is still very much in tact. This has been made possible by vast number of schools, colleges, and universities own and operated by the Catholic church. Yearly, such sick system of education produces not well-informed Filipinos as citizens of our country; but as devout and faithful Catholics prepared to defend and to protect and to promote Catholicism. The majority of Filipinos as products of Catholic education are selfish, greedy, sick, and insane. But that's not the horror of it all. Imagine such Filipinos as husbands to their wives at home; as teachers and professors in schools, colleges, and universities; as priests, bishops, and cardinals in church; as lawyers and judges in court; as congressmen and senators in the government. Thus, as the Sick Man of Asia we Filipinos would never identify ourselves as proud citizens of our Republic, but only as faithful members of the church as Catholics. Indeed, only in the Philippines, a Jew born in a foreign Jewish land some 2,000 years ago is a more loved, more respected, and more venerated Savior than our one and only intellectual giant - Jose Rizal, our national hero, born in the Philippines some 200 years ago. Jesus Never Even Existed

Which is the bigger deal - Jesus getting crucified on a cross; or Jesus resurrecting back to life from the dead; or Jesus has not yet return after promising during his lifetime that he will soon be returning? None of them above. Jesus never even existed. Jesus was a product of a virgin birth. In science, there is no such thing as a child born of a virgin mother. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

True Knowledge versus False Knowledge

True knowledge is to know the extent of our ignorance. False knowledge has more to do with faith in a silly divinity at the expense of our sense for humanity. The only way for journalism to be of any value is when it keeps us in touch with the fear and ignorance that generate the ways and means of our sick society. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Mess in the Holy Bible

Indeed, anyone can pick any verse from the bible and take it out of context or treat such bible verses with all kinds of conflicting interpretations. But can anyone do the same thing with the Multiplication Table - the perfect model of truth which is precise and certain and free from contradictions, inconsistencies, absurdities, obscenities, and free from atrocities! Poverty

Material poverty is a disgrace. What, however, is a greater disgrace is spiritual poverty - the poverty of the heart and mind. It is what our sick system of education has been and still is mostly about. Indeed, we are all born ignorant, not poor. We are made poor, especially poor spiritually by indoctrination more known as "education." Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#
