Oh God, What the Holy Bullcrap is going on

"For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16. Now, unsurprisingly, this same God in the bible tells us to "love not this world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." 1 John 2:15. I asked it before, I ask it again: If God so loved the world, why would this same God tell us to love not this same world?
