The Great Quotes by Great Lawyers I love, Respect, and Admire
Think of the tragedy of teaching children not to doubt... There is no such thing as justice - in or out of court... I am
an agnostic; I do not pretend to know what many ignorant men are sure of." ... "The world is made up for the most part of morons and natural tyrants, strong in their opinion, never doubting." - Atty. Clarence Darrow
"Without free speech no search for truth, no discovery of truth is useful...I cannot follow you Christians; for you try to crawl though your life upon your knees, while I stride mine with my feet." - "Atheist, without God, I look to humankind for sympathy, for love, for hope, for effort, for aid."`- Atty. Charles Bradlaugh
"Progress is born of doubt and inquiry. The Church never doubts, never inquires. To doubt is heresy, to inquire is to admit that you do not know — the Church does neither.”... "If a man would follow, today, the teachings of the Old Testament, he would be a criminal. If he would follow strictly the teachings of the New, he would be insane"... "In the republic of mediocrity, genius is dangerous." . . . Atty. Robert Green Ingersoll
Humility same as Stupidity in Cahoots with Insanity
"Humility towards God makes us gentle towards others." Philippine Star, January 14, 2015... This is not true. It is a lie. In the Philippines, with all humility, we Filipinos all love God up there by hating each other down here. Indeed, in the meantime,"faith" like "humility" continues to be popular because it makes mental laziness and stupidity virtues. Less comfortable qualities like intelligence, honesty, and intellectual courage are damned as the influence of Satan. In fact, the word, "Lucifer" means "bringer of light." And Satan was cast into hell for opening man's eye, for bringing enlightenment to the human mind. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Separation of State and Church in the Philippines
There is no such thing as the "separation of State and Church" in the Philippines. After all, it has never been possible
to separate stupidity away from insanity - both horrors are one and the same deviltry always in cahoots with divinity - especially for the sake of Christianity to exist daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly - perpetually! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

I AM SORRY IF...
"I'm sorry if my atheism offends you. But guess what - your religious wars, jihads, crusades, inquisitions, censoring of free speech, brainwashing of children, murdering of albinos, forcing girls into underage marriages, female genital mutilation, stoning, pederasty, homophobia, and rejection of science and reason offends me. So, I guess we're even." - Mike Treder
For my part, I too am sorry if my being a high school expelled student offends you. But guess what, I am even more offended by what the millions upon millions of college educated Filipinos have kept us Filipinos spiritually twisted as a poor people and morally distorted as a poor nation especially for the glory of Jesus on earth as he is in heaven. THE JOB OF A HIGH SCHOOL EXPELLED STUDENT IN THE PHILIPPINES
Dear Poch,
First, you should be reminded that you have already blamed Christianity countless times before for everything that's wrong in the Philippines... You have repeated your previous positions in blaming Christianity, Christian education and Christian politicians... What have you done except indulging in incessantblame game?... What constructive and viable ways have you thought of doing to uplift the miserable condition. We need some positive actions on your part rather than just blaming Christianity... Are you frustrated that nobody, not even one politician, believes in your repetitions of old boring demonizing of Christianity. You seem to enjoy repetitive bombastic accusations against Christianity... What positive contribution have you provided to the Filipino society for its reduction of poverty? To stop being a Christian does not cut it... So, Mr. Suzara come up with real and viable solutions to reduce poverty among our kababayans. Please no more repetitions of your boring attacks on Christianity.
Regards,
Martin Celemin
My Dear Nartin Celemin,
ONLY IN THE PHILIPPINES, college educated Filipinos would ask a Poch Suzara, a high school expelled student, to solve the problems of poverty of the Filipinos as a people, and solve the troubles of moral bankruptcy of the Philippines as a nation. Cheers, Poch Suzara, Twitter# Facebook# Google#

OUR SICK WAY OF DAILY LIFE IN THE PHILIPPINES
Our Society cannot be radically reformed except by a radical reform of our traditional values and sacred beliefs. Here, however, in the Philippines is the greatest of ideas conveyed daily by church, by the government, in schools, colleges, universities, in the media - newspapers, magazines, on radio, TV, and in the Filipino movies: how to keep us Filipinos sick and ignorant as a people; and, how to keep the Philippines corrupt and sick as a nation. These horrors are the results of religious ideals more referred to as our sacred values and holy beliefs; or, to speak more truthfully - how to live not creatively but only how to die destructively for the greater glory of Jesus on earth as he is in heaven. Open Letter to Pope Francis, Jan. 9, 2015
An Open Letter to Pope Francis; Please Read It Before Coming to the Philippines
Dear Pope Francis, your much anticipated visit to the Philippines is just a few days away. We expect that you will have been adequately briefed about the Philippines by the time you arrive. However, there might be a few things your Vatican handlers might have missed—or intentionally "forgot" to mention to you so we hope this letter reaches you in time for your historic visit.
The first thing you'll notice is that the Philippines is teeming with people. And it is not just because they are out to see you, everyday Metro Manila and most major cities in the country strain under the weight of a population that has exploded to a hundred million people, and shows no signs of slowing down in any significant way; thanks in large part to your church's opposition to any form of contraception. If you get the chance, make it a point to deviate from your "well planned" agenda and visit a slum area—don't worry there are a lot of them in Metro Manila so you shouldn't have any problem finding one. Go into their humble dwellings. Take in all the squalor that these poor souls are forced to live in every day of their lives. When you return to the Vatican, go back and reassess the church's stand against contraceptives. Even if this is the only change you can bring about during your entire papacy, you will have helped the country immensely.
Next, turn your attention to the Philippine clergy. Your bishops and cardinals act like aristocrats. Some priests travel to and thro in expensive vehicles and fly 1st-class on airlines. You have bishops, archbishops, and Cardinals who live in lavish palaces enclosed behind high walls. Based on your pronouncements, these go against the humility and simple lifestyle you espouse. While you are here, we ask that you institute meaningful and lasting changes that will truly bring the Philippine Catholic Church in line with your vision.
In our previous article we noted the number of priests and bishops officiating in a decadently lavish wedding. You need to prohibit such lavishness inside your churches and forbid your clergy from any involvement in over-the-top, crass displays of wealth. Instead we suggest you focus your entire church in the Philippines back on the poor—God knows there are millions and millions of them here.
Lastly, we hope you can confront some of the darker legacies of the Catholic Church in the country. As part of the colonizing power that ruled the Philippines for over 400 years, abuses too numerous to enumerate were committed by individual members of the clergy as well as by the church as an institution. Many Filipinas were raped or seduced by priests so that today, a lot of Filipino mestizos trace their ancestry back to a Spanish priest.
And let us not forget that the Catholic Church was also actively involved in the suppression of the Filipino's longing for independence from Spain. Parish priests served as the "eyes and ears" of the colonial government, at times even violating the seal of confession by passing along to Spanish authorities information divulged during confessions. A few weeks ago, the country celebrated the 118th death anniversary of our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. His death by firing squad in 1896, was in large part due to the efforts of the Catholic clergy.
We feel the Church must apologize to the Filipino people for these wrongs. We know that as pope, you have acknowledged and apologized for other past wrongdoings of the church so there should be no reason why you cannot do the same for us (the Quirino Grandstand, where you are scheduled to say mass on the 18th of January, is just a stone's throw away from Rizal's monument). Not only will an apology bring you even closer to the Filipino people who already adore you dearly, it will also bring closure to wounds in our culture that have remained open for over a century. Has Science Discovered God
World's Most Famous Atheist Accepts Existence of God
The best-known atheist of the last 50 years, Professor Antony Flew, made the announcement in a symposium on science
and religion, that the discoveries of modern science have led him to accept the existence of God. Flew was joined in
the symposium by the organizer, Roy Varghese, Israeli scientist, Gerald Schroeder, and noted Scottish thinker John Haldane.
The news was made public. Prof Antony Flew, the world's most famous philosopher of atheism, has become a believer who accepts that there is a supernatural or spiritual force active in this magnificent world of ours. The reaction in the world press was monumental. It ranged from "what a courageous person to be willing to change opinion in the light of
the facts", to "he's been duped by Schroeder."
Prof Flew said that the main driving force for his dramatic change in belief was the information he read in a book written by Roy Varghese, 'The Wonder of the World', and in Schroeder's 3rd book, 'The Hidden Face Of God'. There is now
a one hour video DVD of the episode in which Prof Flew at the end states his change. It is by no means just few "talking heads". The graphics and voice-over are superb. Most of the visual is animated views of the wonders of existence.
NOTE: This is a lot of religious hogwash because even if Atheist Anthony Flew now accept the existence of God, he has yet to declare openly and admit publicly that such a God that he now believes to exist is a Catholic God or a Muslim God or a Jewish God, or a what-not God, etc.
In the meantime, - if the theologians down through the centuries have never found God, what makes you religious saps and jerks believe that the scientists have now found which or what GOD for the theologians to be proud of and happy with?? Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

How to Become an Atheist
Question:
How can I be an atheist? What does it take for a person to become an atheist? Is there a secret handshake or something?
Response:
So, do you want to be an atheist? Do you really want to be able to call yourself an atheist instead of a theist? If so, then this is the place to come: here you can learn the simple and easy procedure for becoming an atheist. If you read this advice, you'll learn what it takes to be an atheist and thus perhaps if you also have what it takes to be an atheist. Few people seem to understand what being an atheist is all about and thus what becoming an atheist entails. It isn't that hard, though.
Here are the steps necessary to become an atheist:
Step One: don't believe in any gods.
That's it, there are no steps two, three, or four. All you have to do is not believe in the existence of any gods.
None of the following steps are needed to become an atheist:
•You don't have to deny the existence of any gods
•You don't have to assert that no gods exist
•You don't have to be certain that no gods exist
•You don't have to join the Communist Party
•You don't have to be rebelling against your family
•You don't have to stop celebrating Christmas
•You don't have to burn a picture of Jesus
•You don't have to eat Christian babies in satanic rituals
•You don't have to care about religion, theism, or gods
There are lots of things which people imagine are part of being an atheist, but definitely aren't. Atheism is nothing more or less than the absence of belief in gods. There are only two options available for everyone: either a belief in the existence of some sort of god is present, or no such belief is present. That exhausts all the logical possibilities. This means that everyone is either a theist or an atheist. There is no "middle ground" where a belief in the existence of some god is a "little bit" there or a "little bit" absent. It's either there or its not.
How you arrive at not believing in any gods may be difficult. For many people, religion and theism have played such central roles in their lives and families that abandoning these things may appear impossible. It may require a great deal of study, research, and contemplation. Many people don't have the time or inclination. Others may be afraid of what they could find if they start.
What you do after you arrive at not believing in any gods may also be difficult. You don't have to do anything more to be an atheist, but this doesn't mean that there is nothing at all left to do. You will have to decide whether you inform others about this and, if so, how you present it. Many people may start treating you differently simply because you don't believe in their gods anymore. You may have to be concerned about whether knowledge of your atheism will lead to discrimination against you at work, for example.
Being an atheist is easy — all that it requires is not believing in any gods. Existing as an atheist, though, isn’t always easy because so many people think so poorly of atheists. In more secular societies where lots of people are atheists, existing as an atheist will be easier because there is less pressure telling them that being an atheist is immoral, unpatriotic, or dangerous. In more religious societies, the increased pressure will make existing as an atheist very difficult for some... Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google
JUST HOW SICK IS OUR SICK SYSTEM OF EDUCATION
Just how sick is our sick system of education? Schools, colleges, and universities especially own and operated (tax free) by the Catholic church in the Philippines have, for the most part, produced not thinkers; only believers. Produced not leaders; only followers. Produced not more teachers; frightened preachers. Produced not employers; only employees. Produced not mathematicians and logicians; only useless politicians and worthless theologians. Produced not discoverers, innovators, traders, and manufacturers; only laborers, workers, singers, and dancers. Produced not originators; only imitators. Produced not courageous writer, editors, readers, and researchers; only street cleaners, bus drivers, and conductors. Produced not truth-seekers, only liars, deceivers, cheaters, and religious swindlers. Produced frightened lawyers to hate humanity down here, only to love divinity up there. And sad most of all - produced millions of college-educated Filipinos to live and work in foreign countries; not to live, not to work, not to love, and not to develop our own country.
For my part, as a Filipino born in the Philippines some 78 years ago, I may be a failure in life. Indeed, a total failure in how to be greedy, selfish, stupid, and insane. But if there is one thing that I am so proud to have successfully achieved during my younger years - I managed, somehow, to get myself expelled out of La Salle high school. It was, in this way, that I hit my strides by enrolling as a lifetime student as I am still today a student in the greatest of all universities - it is but a collection of books. Religion as the Greatest of Evils in this World
Religion promotes tribalism, anchors believers back to the Dark Ages, makes a virtue out of faith, diverts good intention for humanity to a silly divinity, teaches helplessness, generates political stupidity, encourages social insanity, makes you believe that there is a better world to come after death, and religion seeks power... In the Philippines, Christianity has kept the Filipino spiritually twisted as a people and morally distorted as a nation... We are the only country in Asia today that believe that the Lord Jesus, the Son of a Jewish God, will soon be returning as written in the bible some 2,000 years ago! Yes, Jesus promised to return to remedy the historical ills out of our sick society! Moreover, that Jesus will transform the Philippines into something of a paradise in Asia! More than a billion Filipinos who already lived and died in our God-forsaken country since Christianity arrived in the 16th century have faithfully believed and still do faithfully believe in this holy garbage more referred to as the truth revealed! My Dear Senator Rene Saguisag
Poch:
Without these schools, we probably would still be in the hills, lean-tos, etc. and hunting for heads for dinner.*
There are Saladins and Mother Teresas to look up to. Bin Ladens and the Borgias to look down on. Religion may have led to bad things but it has also done many, many very very good things. Senator Rene Saguisag
My dear Senator Rene Saguisag, Do you really believe that we Filipinos were a bunch of corrupt cannibals eating each
other for dinner since we never had a Mother Theresa to look up to; or, that we only had a Bin Laden to imitate as
our way life? Do you really believe that we were sick as Filipinos and we were all transformed into a healthy people
when Christianity arrived to introduce to us the messages from the Holy Bible?
Sir, how come countries in Asia that have never been conquered by Christianity are less corrupt, more advanced, and developed as governments today than our Philippine government? In fact, when we Filipinos are in those non-Christian countries - Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, etc, - we are there as employees as they are our employers? Our own public school
teachers earn better wages doing household chores in Hongkong!
Sir, I said it before, I say it again: EVIL WILL ALWAYS BE TRIUMPHANT IN THE PHILIPPINES BECAUSE EVEN OUR GOOD MEN, THE FEW OF THEM THAT WE HAVE, ARE GUILTY OF DOING NOTHING EXCEPT TO COMMIT AS WELL THE WORST OF CRIMES - THE CRIME OF SILENCE! - Cheers! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#
Churches and Hospitals in the Philippines
"A church is a hospital for sinners, not a club of saints." Philippine Star, Jan. 8, 2015
If a man would follow, today, the teachings of the Old Testament, he would be a criminal. If he would follow strictly the teachings of the New, he would be insane. Robert Ingersoll
And to think, since the 16th century up to today in this already 21st century, far more churches have been constructed for the siners in the Philippines than hospitals for the sick and the insane. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

There is no Religion in Atheism
We are told that atheism is another religion. This is not true. A religion is based upon a system of beliefs. We atheists do not have belief system neither have we a need a system to support our nonbeliefs. In fact listen to George H. Smith who wrote a great book - THE CASE AGAINST GOD: "Atheism rises above creeds and puts humanity upon one plane. There can be no "chosen people" in the atheist philosophy. There are no bended knees in atheism; no supplication, no prayers, no sacrificial redemption; no divine revelation; no washing in blood of the lamb; no crusades, no massacres, no holy wars. No heaven, no hell, no purgatory; no silly rewards, no vindictive punishment; no Christ, and no saviors. No devil, no ghost, and no gods."
And, if I may add, we atheists have no pastors,no preachers, no priests, no cardinals, no bishops, and no Popes. We have no dogma, hogma, and pigma. We have no schools, no colleges, and no universities to teach students how take advantage of the forgiveness of sin and the pardon of crime always available at any time from God via his priesthood industry. Thus, as atheists, we have no need to be sinners as a people; we have no need to be criminals as a nation. Especially for the glory of a sick God existing in a sick heaven. Thanks to the Telescope and the Microscope
Thanks to the atheists who invented the telescope, and who also invented the microscope, both scientific instruments have proved with evidences that religion has turned out to be nothing but childish claims under the inspiration of a silly horoscope! And to think that under the freedom of the press, there are more published information in our daily newspaper on theology and astrology than there are on astronomy, anthropology, philosophy, chemistry, sociology, history, logic, mathematics, and biology. WHERE ARE THE HEALTHY SOULS IN THE PHILIPPINES
The bible contain the nutrient we need for a healthy soul." Philippine Star, Jan. 7, 2015
"Without science, a nation can neither be rich nor powerful. Bertrand Russell
In the Philippines, however, we only have religion and politics - both under the guidance from the holy bible. The same holy bible that also teaches us to: "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world, if any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." 1Jojn 2:15.
Well, under holy bible guidance since the 16th century, is it surprising that millions of us poor Filipinos have only learned how to love divinity up there by not loving our country down here? Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Pascal's Pathetic Wager
Pascal’s Wager is somewhat tragic. It has nothing to do with the power of logic. It has more to do with faith in magic.
Pascal’s Wager has been proved not only empirically deficient, but also logically self-destructive. He may have been a mathematician; but he was not a logician. He was, however, apologetic as a theologian. If he were a Filipino, he would have been a great success as a corrupt politician.
Here’s Pascal’s Wager: “Even if the Christian conception of God cannot be proved, the wise and prudent man will accept it for the following reasons:
If it is true, and he believes it, he has gained heaven.
If it is true, and he does not believe, he goes to hell.
If it is not true, and he believes that it is, he has lost nothing.
If it is not true, and he believes that it is not, he has gained nothing
So there is everything to gain and nothing to lose by believing it true.
FIRST OBJECTION TO PASCAL’S WAGER:
This is one of the most interesting arguments of all and the most convincing, but at the same time the most fallacious. It is a classic statement of ethnocentrism. It starts out with the assumption that Christianity is the only possible choice, and ignores all other religions of the world. One possibility that Pascal overlooked was that the same argument can be used equally well by any other religion to prove its validity. What made Pascal so certain that God was a Christian? The Muslims think God is a Muslim; the Hindus think God is a Hindu; the Buddhists think God is a Buddhist, And surely it is just as possible that one of them is right as the Christians are right. So a Christian stands in just as much danger of going to a Muslim hell, as a Muslim stands of going to a Christian hell. Obviously, Pascal failed to consider this possibility simply because Christians were the only kinds of people he has known. Apparently he had never seriously discussed religion with a Muslim or a Hindu or a Buddhist, so he assumed that everyone of any consequence in the world was just like him. But to begin an argument with the assumption that everyone in the world is wrong but me, is obviously a shaky way to begin.
In fact, Pascal was referring to the Catholic variety of Christianity. And there are many other denominations which all threaten eternal damnation for anyone who does not accept THEIR doctrine.
SECOND OBJECTION TO PASCAL’S WAGER
Pascal overlooked that God might be even meaner than he thought. A God that is cruel enough to create a hell in the first place, and one that would make a man so blinded as to be capable of stumbling into the lake of fire, and one that would create a Satan to lure him into it, certainly should have no qualms about burning anyone who accepted Christianity on so calculated and mercenary a basis. In fact, in Matt. 18:3, Mark 10:15, and Luke 18:17 Jesus repeatedly says that only those who accept him with the blind faith of children will be saved.
THIRD OBJECTION TO PASCAL’S WAGER
Still another possibility is that since man’s intelligence is the only thing that perceptively distinguishes him from other animals, God might very well punish a man for accepting anything on “faith” instead of intelligently analyzing it and weighing it against all other possibilities. Such as lively analysis instead of deadly paralysis!
FOURTH OBJECTION TO PASCAL’S WAGER
Pascal’s conclusion does not follow from his premises. In his great book - THE CASE AGAINST GOD, George H. Smith wrote:
“Just as Christianity must destroy reason before it can introduce faith, so it must destroy happiness before it can introduce salvation. It is not accidental that Christianity is profoundly anti-pleasure, especially in the area of sex. Pleasure is the fuel of life, and sexual pleasure is the most intense form of pleasure that man can experience. To deny oneself pleasure, or to convince oneself that pleasure is evil is to produce frustrations and anxiety and thereby become potential material for salvation.”
Therefore, if this is the only life we have, and we sacrifice the few earthly pleasures we have, and trade our intellectual freedom for a mess of dogma, hogma, and pigma, - all for the sake of non-existent next world, instead of losing nothing, we have lost everything.
In the meantime, here’s all that is necessary for religion to triumph: Have enough good men, who are good for nothing, pray daily to God to help other men help themselves to be good for nothing too. Poch Suzara Twitter@ Facebook@ Google#
The Infinity, Stupidity, and Divinity
"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe"... Albert Einstein. For my part, I say, why should we bother to believe that it is important for the finite mind of man to understand the infinite mind of God? Isn't it far more important to prove first not that God is infinite, but that such a God, in fact,
do exists! So God is this! God is that! So what? The plain truth is that such a God is never, but never OMNIPRESENT, only always OMNIABSENT. For my part, I'd like to see us dealing direct with God or God is dealing direct with us without the stupidity of a 3rd party involved as a necessary mystery! . . . Nothing is Permanent in this World
Nothing is permanent, as everything is temporary in this world. Happily, even human stupidity is, hopefully, something that will not last as long as eternity. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#
