God sees our Tiny World

God sees our tiny world of hate and violence, pain, suffering, illnesses, diseases, poverty, and misery. If God, however, can still afford to feel happy and contented with his creation, I can only say that such an all-loving and merciful God has got to be something of a supernatural monster, if not some divine Jerk! Now we are told God does not want to meddle by transforming this earth into a paradise because God does not want us humans to be like robots. What stupid nonsense is this argument based upon? Any intelligent child can see how we humans, if we do not have to waste time and energy solving our silly emotional problems or dealing with our stupid religious troubles, we can devote instead our time and energy traveling around the galaxies inspecting, discovering, appreciating the beauty of God’s entire creation, and not just what he had created on this tiny planet called earth. To think that the earth is so tiny in that a million earths can easily fit inside the sun. In the meantime, traveling is like reading: it is utterly useless if one cannot change; indeed, if one refuses to make the greatest discovery of all - finding one's SELF in this world. Leonardo Da Vinci wrote briefly: "One of the greatest discoveries a man makes, one of the great surprises, is to find he can do what he was afraid he could not do." As with me, in my simplicity, even during my younger years, I discovered that I should never be afraid of the power of thought. After all, for the sake of self-respect and dignity, lively intelligent thinking is always more preciious than deadly stupid believing. Poch Suzara

Who

Who determines for you to faithfully believe parts of the bible that is supposed to be written literally, or parts written metaphorically? After that biblical illusion has been determined for you, which part of your sacred delusion further determines your holy confusion? Poch Suzara

Revelation

Revelation should be something of a direct communication. Once revelation goes through a language translation, it ceases to be a first-hand communication. In fact, it becomes a second-hand information due to sacred distortion unworthy of installation for serious consideration. That God revealed himself to religious morons thousands of years ago in some foreign land has got to be some kind of biblical jactitation, and nothing to do with revelation. Poch Suzara

Lies, Distortion and Mutilation

Here is a book used in our schools. The title is Rizal’s Life, Works and Writings: their impact on our national identity. Authored by Gapino, Gonzalez, and Pineda.
Look at these religious Filipino authors mentioning on page 135 Rizal’s great interest in science and its usefulness was expressed by him in an article: “It is our duty to follow the dreary but peaceful paths of science which lead to progress and thence to the union desired by Jesus Christ and prayed for on the night of his sorrows.” (Rizal prose, page 21)

Rizal never wrote the second part of that sentence. From his Spanish writings to English, his translators maliciously distorted and if not religiously mutilated Rizal’s scientific attitude. They tried to make Rizal appear like he is some kind of a scientific dummy. This is an example of how Rizal’s written Spanish works have been mistranslated, specially by his biographer Guerrero who was more faithful and loyal to Catholic authority than he was faithful and loyal to the subject of his biography – Rizal, the courageous man of science and philosophy. Prayerful Morons

Prayerful morons prayed for rain as the nation's water supply is getting shorter. God, being so kind and generous, answered the prayers with a typhoon that brought vast devastation drowning a few among the prayerful to death by heavy rain. Then even our Archbishop asked that we pray to God for no more rain. More rains came, however, with more devastation, especially in our farms, streets and highways. In the meantime, college educated men and women of this faith-soaked country have yet to wonder why the Philippines continue to remain as a Third World country in this already 21st century. Belief or Disbelief in God

"There is a significant difference between having no belief in a God and believing there is no God…" Michael Shermer
There is, however, a greater significance in believing that even if God exists, he is not worth believing. After all, such a God eventually puts all of us to death. He needs us dead permanently more than he wants us alive temporarily?
Happily, we atheists would rather find life beautiful and delightful to live it. It is the mark of the atheistic spirit. Atheism is all about that imperative need to think and to live. It is the exact opposite with theism – it is only about the imperative need to believe and to die. Poch Suzara

Big Bang

Let's assume that God created the big bang. Why would he start the creation of the universe in total chaos that retains neither his memory nor his personality as the God of original creativity? Indeed, why should God be the nothing instead of the something that exist? Where is God to be found? Why is he so ever busy always hiding away faceless as a nothing afraid to face mankind and its sufferings always of painful something? Poch Suzara

So God Exists, So What

If God does not exist, then everything is permitted?” On the contrary, since it is widely believed, especially by the sinners and the criminals that a God exist, therefore everything is permitted. Even Voltaire wrote: “If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him.” After all, who else but a God can forgive the stupid sins of the sinners against divinity; and, who else but a God can forgive the stupid crimes of the criminals against humanity? Indeed, some kind of a divinity is always needed to forgive even social insanity especially as spread by political, if not by religious stupidity. In the meantime, what does Big Foot, the Abominable Snowman, Loch Ness Monster, God, Jesus, Mary, Joseph and Satan have in common? All of these creatures were invented by the frightened faithfools to occupy the world of fantasy. Poch Suzara

Hitler's Holocaust

Hitler’s Holocaust - the killing of more than 6 million Jews in Europe during WW2 was quite a Sunday picnic compared to the American Holocaust. Since the landing of Columbus in 1492, more than 18 million native Indians have been killed in their continent. Their land, gold, silver, oil, and other valuable natural resources worth in the trillion of dollars were stolen away from these kind and generous people. And to think that many religious morons believed then that the most horrible part of this historical butchery was that those native Indians all died without accepting Jesus. Poch Suzara

Rizal and Paine and the Bible

Here are the words of the English-born American revolutionary Thomas Paine in his Age of Reason. I have no doubt Rizal while in Europe must have read this book with much gusto: “Whenever we read the obscene stories, the voluptuous debaucheries, the cruel and torturous executions, the unrelenting vindictiveness with which more than half the bible is filled, it would be more consistent that we called it the word of a demon than the word of God. It is a history of wickedness, that has served to corrupt and brutalize mankind; and, for my part, I sincerely detest it, as I detest everything that is cruel.” Poch Suzara

Filipinos

Filipinos are disunited, not united as a people. When we Filipinos go to live and work in other countries, we continue to be disunited, not united. That’s how fragmented we are in hatred as a people. Thanks to the teachings of Christianity since the 16th century in the Philippines everywhere that we must only love divinity up there by hating one another down here. Poch Suzara

Sick World

Only a sick person could believe in a God who does not cease to create sick children to populate our sick world. Obviously God does not exist; otherwise, if he does exist, he would, indeed, be a supernatural monster highly impressed with the multitude composed of religioul morons who worship him. Poch Suzara

Truth

It does not really matter if we disagree. It does not even matter if either of us respect the other. What is essential, however, is the truth, especially the search for it. Now in the search of the truth what is first needed is that most priceless treasure any man can own on this earth – a precious mind. Otherwise, being utterly mindless will only insure that one will only remain for the rest of one's life utterly thoughtless. Poch Suzara

Faith and Doubt

I have no respect for faith as it a product of indoctrination. I have, however, a great respect for doubt. It is what gets you an education.
Faith is all about the hatred of knowledge and wisdom. Education is all about the love of the truth, especially the search for it – the noblest of man's professions. Poch Suzara

Wars Caused By Religion

People’s range of thinking seems so short, if not trivial and banal or puny. When they are told that the history of war in this world has been mostly due to religion, they deny it by mentioning that there were quite a few wars that happened which religion played no part. It had never, however, occur to these religious morons that religion has nevertheless done nothing to ameliorate the conditions that led to local or global wars.

Look back half a century and witness the role played by the Catholic Church in aiding Nazi Germany. For example the German church opened its genealogical records to the Third Reich so that a person’s Jewish ancestry could be traced. Not a single German Catholic, including Adolf Hitler, was excommunicated for committing crimes against humanity. And Hitler often claimed he was serving God. In MEIN KAMPF HE SAYS, “Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance of the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jews, I am fighting for the work of the Lord.” Poch Suzara

Prayers

During the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th century, millions upon millions of Filipinos prayed daily to Mary, Mother of God, to pray for us sinners. Today, in this 21st century more prayers are needed. More sinners are born each and every day and night. Approximately 1.7 million sinners born yearly adding to our already population problems in the Philippines at present
In the meantime college-educated Filipinos have yet to wonder why in the race among Asian nations seeking a higher standard of living, we Filipinos are left far behind too sick even to participate in the race to seek a higher standard of thinking?
Philippine foremost historian Teodoro A. Agoncillo summarized it quite truthfully. He wrote: “Self-deception is the worst tragedy of the Filipinos as a people.” Poch Suzara

Religious Wars

As an atheist I have no need to take sides to any of the insane religious wars going on and escalating in our world today among the Christians and Muslims and Jews - hating and killing each other for the sake of a dogma, pigma, or a hogma.
I would rather be on the side of a local sanity as I am rooting for the happiness of humanity via global tranquility. I do not believe in the existence of the God of the Christians, or in the existence of Allah – the God of the Muslims, or in the existence of Yahweh – the God of the Jews. It is incredible how supernatural beings could be standing behind these great religions of the world existing to promote dreadful disgrace, instead of enhancing beautiful grace for the whole human race. Poch Suzara

No More Jose Rizals

Filipinos have set up for Jose Rizal - monuments, statues, museums, shrines, universities, province, bridges, streets, towns, theatres, including a Forum on the internet in his name. There are even religious morons who call themselves “Knights of Rizal.”
I have yet, however, to meet one rare Filipino who has been profoundly clear and consistently courageous in carrying out what Jose Rizal could no longer do. After Rizal was arrested, incarcerated, and then executed in 1896 – who amongst us Filipinos have carried out to a higher, deeper, and wider levels his struggles against human stupidity, especially as inspired by organized religion promoting nothing but a sick and a corrupt society? Indeed, only sick men and women could believe in a sick divinity - one who does not cease creating sick children to populate a sick society! Rizal exalted the values of science and technology; not useless prayer or mindless theology. Too bad I am not a Filipino scientist like Jose Rizal was, neither am I a college educated Filipino from great universities in Europe. If I were, I would gladly have carried on the works of Jose Rizal’s ambition to remedy the evils of Christianity that’s keeping the Filipino sick, rotten, and corrupt in this eternally faith-soaked country. Jose Rizal Asked

“Where are the youth who will consecrate their golden hours, their dreams, and their enthusiasm to the welfare of their native land? Where are the youth who will generously pour out blood to wash away so much shame, so much crime, so much abomination? Pure and spotless must the victim be! Where are you youth, who will embody in yourselves the vigor of life that has left our veins, the purity of ideas that has been contaminated in our brains, the fire of enthusiasm that has been quenched in our hearts? We await you, O Youth! Come, for we await you!”

Ever since the death of Rizal by public execution in 1896, the history of the Filipino people has been the daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly struggle to deny the power of the human mind with knowledge, and to reject the beauty of the human heart with wisdom. Indeed, to be not happy, sane, and culturally constructive; but only to be unhappy, insane, and traditionally destructive.

Thanks to the faith-soaked teachers and professors in our schools, colleges, and universities – millions of Filipinos have yet to be taught how to substantiate the words of Jose Rizal: “I would like the Filipinos to be brilliant, enlightened, intelligent, and progressive.”

Sadly, even the Knights of Rizal have been busy promoting social and political insanity in this God-forsaken country. Especially for the sake of preserving in this faith-soaked 21st century – the beliefs and values of Christianity.

In this world, when one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When millions of people suffer from a delusion, in the Philippines, it is called Christianity. Poch Suzara

Rizal and Jesus

Jesus said: “Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Matt. 18:1-4.

Jose Rizal said: I place as a condition the education of the people so that by means of instruction and industry, our country may have a personality of her own and be worthy of her liberties.”

If we Filipinos have only been exposed to the teachings of a terrestrial Jose Rizal, and not exposed to the teachings of an extra-terrestrial Jesus Christ – in our schools, colleges, and universities – Philippine historian Teodoro A. Agoncillo need not have concluded: “Self-deception is the worse tragedy of the Filipinos as a people.” Poch Suzara
