Prayerful Morons

Prayerful morons prayed for rain as the nation's water supply is getting shorter. God, being so kind and generous, answered the prayers with a typhoon that brought vast devastation drowning a few among the prayerful to death by heavy rain. Then even our Archbishop asked that we pray to God for no more rain. More rains came, however, with more devastation, especially in our farms, streets and highways. In the meantime, college educated men and women of this faith-soaked country have yet to wonder why the Philippines continue to remain as a Third World country in this already 21st century.
