For my part, I should wish to share that optimism with Min Byung-il, Korean professor and editor. However, in view of the same traditional stuff still taught to our children in our schools, colleges, and universities – that there is a better world to come after death – indeed, the teaching of silly, if not stupid theology – the Philippines in the modern world of science and technology will continue to remain in the backwaters of Asia especially in the race for growth as a people and maturity as a nation.
