God as a Supernatural Bully

“Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.” Acts 5:29.
This is all fine and great and dandy. But where is God? How do we obey God when he is never found anywhere? Why is God never directly involved with our troubles and problems? God is never omni-present; in fact, only always omni-absent. How does one obey the existence of a nothing in fantasy? Isn’t it more sensible to obey the existence of a something in reality? Gee God, why are you such a big show off? A supernatural I-don’t-give-a-damn invisible bully?
Fearless men have only to think; frightened children have only to worship. Poch Suzara
