Atheism as a Worldwide Movement Today
Atheism today in this 21st century is a worldwide movement without frightened followers. Without timid saps. Without dumbstruck jerks. We atheists are all enlightened leaders; especially of our destiny. We atheists know where we are going as we live the good life - one inspired by love and compassion for humanity. When we die, we atheists die sober, and not drunk with lies and deceptions! We atheists do not bother with nor worry about the hereafter, since there never was, to begin with, a herebefore? Atheism was an even larger movement before the implosion of the Soviet Union and the collapse of the communist states of the Eastern Bloc. Far from enlightened, their leaders were benighted. Their frightened followers towed the line because they were frightened. Their godless leaders had the power of the gun, and those who would not embrace atheism were treated as third class citizens at best, or worked as slaves in the gulags. Many were persecuted and martyred for not renouncing their faith. Poch, you're wearing rosy tinted glasses.
Ken, there is a lot of difference between atheism and communism. One is not the other. You are such a gullible sap. Such a childish jerk! So millions believe in God. So what? Does that make it true? Well, billions believe that the sun rises each morning and sets each evening. So what? Is it not true because it is but a grand illusion. Poch Suzara
Poch, please explain how atheistic communists are different from non-communist atheists. I'm all ears. And while you're at it, please tell me why it matters in a godless universe that an atheist not become a communist.
