The Strength of Mind or the Goodness of heart To be an Atheist

Not one man in a thousand has the strength of mind or the goodness of heart to be an atheist. --- Samuel Taylor Coleridge
In the Philippines, not one Filipino in ten thousand has the strength of mind or the goodness of heart to be an atheists. But there
is Poch Suzara, a Filipino atheist who together
with his group of genuine atheists know and understand and appreciate the reality that atheism today is worldwide movement without sick or frightened followers. We atheists are healthy leaders of our own destiny in life. We do not beget silly answers. We beget intelligent questions. We are involved with man's greatest of professions - the search
of the truth.
We atheists have our own bible too. It contains only one word: THINK! In the final analysis, we atheists have to live with the knowledge that there is no such thing as salvation, divine intervention, redemption, revelation, or even the existence of the Immaculate Misconception. Whatever the case may be, we atheists are more into lively analysis than we care to live in fear under deadly paralysis. If
we must leave this world one day, we atheists would rather try to leave it as a much better place than how we found it - not necessarily in the material, but in the humanitarian sense ; or, there is no reason why we have ever lived on this earth at all.
With the power of thought in our minds and hearts, we atheists stand on our own
two feet, accept responsibility for our actions, and solve our own problems without needlessly confusing the issues with meaningless words, or with primitive superstitious verbalism, or with destructive ancient ecclesiasticism. - Poch Suzara Google# Facebook# Twitter#
