Religion with its Sick Customs and Sick Traditions
“It is possible that mankind is on the threshold of a golden age; but, if so, it will be necessary first to slay the dragon that guards the door, and this dragon is religion” --- Bertrand Russell. . . It is the exact same horror with the Philippines. What keeps us Filipinos frightened to love not, to believe not, to develop not, and to keep not clean, orderly, healthy, and progressive our own country is sick religion with its sick dogma, pigma, and hogma... To think that sick religion is still pretty much at the foundation of the sick system of education in schools, colleges, and universities established by sick religion in order to keep our country perpetually poor, sick, and eternally backward... Not one of these presidents was an atheist. All were Catholics, except one. All of these presidents took advantage of the power of prayer to God. They all prayed daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly to God. Especially to help them as president to straighten out the social, political, economical, religious, and governmental mess throughout the country. Especially since the Philippines is the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century.
Soon, next year, we will have a new Catholic president. Again, it is highly expected, that he or she will continue to faithfully pray to God to help fix once and for all the social, political, economical, religious, and governmental mess out of our poor and sick and corrupt and backward country. For my part, as an atheist, I hope, this time, finally, God will listen to the old prayers of the new President of the Republic of the Philippines.- Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Without God Life Has No Meaning - NO KIDDING
I am often told that Without God, life has no meaning. Of course, without God, life has no meaning. After all, who is going to forgive our meaningful sins and forgive our meaningful crimes if not God or His Son Jesus? Look at the sinners and criminals as the sick and corrupt officials in our sick and corrupt government. They are always bragging that they are "MAKA-dios, and that they are also all MAKA-Jesus in this only Catholic country in Asia.
I say, there is no reason to believe that life needs to be eternal in order to be meaningful. Indeed, there is evidence that quite the opposite in the case: for example, a film, a performance, a novel or a sporting event without end would completely lose any meaning. In the same way, we can question what would be the point of doing anything at all if we had an eternity to live, with nothing to bring it into focus and give it some urgency and poignancy.
My mentor Bertrand Russell summarized it more meaningfully: “I believe that when I die I shall rot, and nothing of my ego will survive. I am not young and I love life. But I should scorn to shiver with terror at the thought of annihilation. Happiness is nonetheless true happiness because it must come to an end, nor do thought and love lose their value because they are not everlasting." . . . Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#
True Ignorance
"True ignorance is not the absence of knowledge, but the refusal to acquire it. Carl Popper . . .
Indeed, we are all born ignorant, not stupid. We are made stupid by a stupid system of education via schools, colleges, and universities. They are places where we are taught to believe that after we acquire a "college diploma" there will be no more need
to learn any more! - Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

"God will either spare you from suffering or give you grace to bear it." ... Philippine Star, June 19, 2015... Wow God, aside from such good promises, what else are you a good God for? GOD'S WORD or GOD'S ACTION
"God's Word needs no additions or subtractions." --- Philippine Star, June 18, 2015. . . So There Is A God, So What?
So there is a God! So what? Why is such a God only always OMNI-ABSENT, never OMNI-PRESENT? I'd like to meet God face to face in the here and now. I'd like to tell God to his face that he has been a LOUSY God; specially to us millions of filthy poor and sick Filipinos and the few filthy-rich Filipinos who are among the biggest saps and jerks in the Philippines - the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century!

Success in Life
We are all born ignorant, not sick or corrupt. We are made sick and corrupt via a sick and corrupt system of education in the Philippines. If we wish to know why we, as a people, are filthy, messy, and sick even as a nation - take a closer look at our sick and corrupt system of education; especially as operated by the power of authority of Catholicism in the Philippines - the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century.
In the meantime, millions of college educated Filipinos believe they are poor because they have no money. On the contrary, the worse kind of poverty is the poverty of the mind. Among those who are truly rich are those who are rich in spirit as they only wish via to learn more as learning via the search of the truth is a lifetime adventure.
Here, however, is what Bertrand Russell wrote on the pursuit of more money: “Love of money
has been denounced by moralists since the world began. I do not wish to add another to the moral denunciations, of which the efficacy in the past has not been encouraging. I wish show how the worship of money is both an effect and a cause of diminishing vitality, and how our institutions might be changed so as to make the worship of money grow less and general vitality grow more. It is not the desire for money as a means to definite ends that is in question. A struggling artist may desire money in order to have leisure for his art, but this desire is finite, and can be satisfied by a very modest sum. It is the worship of money that I wish to consider: the belief that values may be measured in terms of money, and that money is the ultimate test of success in life. This belief is held in fact, if not in words, by multitudes of men and women, and yet it is not in harmony with human nature, since it ignores vital needs and the instinctive tendency towards some specific kind of growth. It makes men treat as unimportant those of their desires which run counter to the acquisition of money, and yet such desires are, as a rule, more important to well-being than any increase of income. It leads men to mutilate their own natures from a mistaken theory of what constitutes success, and to give admiration to enterprise which add nothing to human welfare. It promotes a dead uniformity of character and purpose, a diminution in the joy of life, and a stress and strain which leaves whole communities weary, discouraged, and disillusioned.” --- Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Separation of Church and State in the Philippines
For as long as you have government officials who are the products of education in Catholic grade school, Catholic high school, and in Catholic universities, the Separation of State and Church in the Republic of the Philippines can only be a farce, a fraud, and a ceremony! Well, as the only Catholic country in Asia, since our government officials are devout and faithful Catholics it will be a sin for them not to loyal first to God, and then, if at all, as a miracle, to love our country. In the meantime, even our sick and insane officials in our government believe there is a better world to come but only we are all dead! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#
Morality versus Human Intelligence
Morality is the product of the evolutionary development of man and society. Morality is always relative and never absolute. Within the framework of our society, we chose our own, personal code of moral conduct. In the meantime, morality is for mentally retarded children who have been educated to fear intellectual growth. Human intelligence, however, is for men and women educated enough to acquire more knowledge and wisdom in order to put more beauty into this world where the sick sense of religious morality have put only horrors. Who is Poch Suzara
If you steal from 1 author, you are a PLAGIARIST.
If you steal from 2 authors, you are a SCHOLAR.
If you steal from 3 authors, you are a RESEARCHER.
But if you steal from 100 authors - who or what are you??
You are a POCH SUZARA - a high school expelled student; an unbeliever of the faith all night; a believer of the power of reason all day; but more so, a brave writer and a courageous reader of banned books worth reading.
What about you college-educated men and women? What have you got to say for yourselves? Aside from copying the sins of the theologians known as the sin of insanity; or, copying the crimes of the politicians known as the crime of stupidity - who else do you people copy from in order to prove that you are in full possession of the most priceless treasure on this earth - your own precious mind and heart! The Sick Religion that Frightens Instead of Brightens the Innocent Mind of a Child
Religion frightens you to ignore the plain truth that when you came out of your mama's womb, you were born an atheist. Indeed, no child is born with a religion. All children are atheists. No child is born a Catholic or born a Muslim or born as a faithful believer in a lot of ecclesiastical crap.
Indeed, as the song in South Pacific
play goes:
You've got to be taught
To hate and fear,
You've got to be taught
From year to year,
It's got to be drummed
In your dear little ear
You've got to be carefully taught.
You've got to be taught to be afraid
Of people whose eyes are oddly made,
And people whose skin is a diff'rent shade,
You've got to be carefully taught.
You've got to be taught before it's too late,
Before you are six or seven or eight,
To hate all the people your relatives hate,
You've got to be carefully taught!
For my part, getting myself kicked out of La Salle
high school was a great achievement in life. In fact,
greater than getting myself excommunicated out
of the catholic church. - Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#
THEOLOGY, A STUDY FOR THE SICK AND THE INSANE
Theology is the effort to explain the unknowable in terms of the not worth knowing... H. L. Mencken
And to think that years in grade school, high school, and in college THEOLOGY was the only subject we learned to believe and to have faith in for the rest of our sick and temporary existence. And to think further, the religious morons comprising our sick society are still trying so very hard to explain the existence of the unknowable in terms of the not worth knowing! So there is God, the Father; so there is Jesus, the Son of God; so there is the holy spirit, the ghost of God; so there is Mary, the Mother of God; so there is Satan, the devil of God! SO, SO WHAT? How will such knowledge help us grow up sane and healthy as a people, and will help us develop sane and wealthy as a nation?. . . Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

We Filipinos Continue to Sick as a People and Sick as a Nation
In this already 21st century, we Filipinos continue to be sick as a people and continue to be sick as a nation. It is due to, if not because of, our faith in a sick religion behind a sick system of education. Indeed, for the most part, schools, colleges, and universities are own and operated by the Catholic church since Christianity conquered the Philippines in the 16th century. All of the rotten and corrupt officials in our rotten and corrupt government have acquired college education in catholic universities in the Philippines. They all do share a great joy together - all of their sins and crimes down here are forgiven by a sick God up there! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

There is Nothing Existing Outside the Universe
"There Is Nothing Outside The Universe." And the question of what went before It began, or who created it, no longer, it turns out, make any sense. . . Lee Smolin. . . If there is no God, where did everything come from?... “If we can accept that God could exist without being created why could this same logic not apply to the universe itself?”
The problem with the First Cause Argument lies in its assumption that an almighty creator exists, something that it is trying to prove. This is known as begging the question. Even a child can ask, “If God created the universe, then who created God?” If the answer is that God is uncaused, then the same answer could certainly be applied to the existence of the universe — that it is uncaused. Besides, which almighty creative god are we talking about?
People using the First Cause Argument always make the assumption that their god did the creating. Catholics think God created the universe. Muslims think that Allah created the universe. Hindus think that Brahma did it. The Jews think that Yahweh did it. Most religions have a story of how their god created the universe. The idea of a god as creator of the universe makes for a fantastic tale, but it obviously tells us little about the characteristics of that god. What they are doing is explaining one mystery with a bigger mystery, and that is fallacious logic. Or, explaining the unknown by means of the unknowable. Thus, religion encourages stupidity, belittles one's sense for humanity, and inspires one to have faith in holy absurdity, in order to promote human insanity globally! ... WOW ARCHBISHOP SOCRATES VILLEGAS - IT IS TIME TO WAKE UP!
MANILA - The Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines is urging voters not to vote for candidates who are "notoriously corrupt" while also warning against the work of spin doctors who malign deserving candidates.
In a pastoral letter, CBCP president and Archbishop Socrates Villegas reminded Filipinos to vote "for the right reasons" and not allow “demolition jobs” to influence their decisions to choose the deserving candidate.
“Just as the discerning voter will not be easily won over by all the flattery in favor of one candidate, neither should a voter allow demolition jobs to dissuade him from choosing a person who is truly fit for office,” Villegas said.
“Reject the notoriously corrupt, but neither should one readily jump on the bandwagon of condemnation in the absence of incontrovertible evidence, for, these days, one’s reputation, so painstakingly built by sincerity and honesty over the years, can so easily be tarnished by the truly evil work of ‘spin-doctors’ in the payroll of one or the other political aspirant,” he added.
Villegas' pastoral letter was read in different parishes all over the country on Sunday.
Fr. Erik Adoviso, parish priest of Most Holy Trinity Church, said the CBCP president also warned the public against voting candidates who are part of political dynasties who just run for different electoral positions.
"Ang pulitika ay hindi monopolya ng isang pamilya o isang clan. Ito ay para sa lahat," he told ABS-CBN News.
The CBCP president also reminded voters that lawmakers are support to make laws and not have their own projects.
"Do not demand to know a congressman or a senator what his or her local projects have been. Legislators are not supposed to have local projects. They are supposed to legislate, to attend congressional sessions, rise to debate and actively take part in committee hearings," he said.
WOW, MY DEAR ARCHBISHOP SOCRATES VILLEGAS, IT IS TIME TO WAKE UP. THERE IS NOT ONE CORRUPT AND ROTTEN POLITICIAN IN OUR SICK AND CORRUPT GOVERNMENT WHO IS AN ATHEIST. THEY ALL BELIEVE IN GOD. THEY ALL LOVE AND WORSHIP JESUS! INDEED, THEY ARE ALL COLLEGE EDUCATED IN CATHOLIC COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES OWN AND OPERATED ( tax-free ) in the Philippines.
ARCHBISHOP VILLEGAS, IS IT REALLY THAT COMPLICATED FOR YOU TO COMPREHEND THAT WE FILIPINOS ARE ALL BORN IGNORANT, NOT SICK AND CORRUPT. WE ARE MADE SICK AND CORRUPT BY A CATHOLIC SYSTEM OF EDUCATION IN THE PHILIPPINES. WHEN WILL THESE HISTORICAL HORRORS END?
IN THE MEANTIME, HOW ABOUT CHECKING ALSO ON YOUR ROTEN AND CORRUPT BISHOPS? THEY HAVE INVESTED MORE THAN 19 BILLION PESOS IN THE STOCK MARKET. WHERE AND HOW DID THEY ACQUIRE SUCH FINANCIAL FILTH? Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

What Achievements Have We Through the Power of Prayer
"Whatever has been achieved through pressure and violence is unstable, unreliable and incorrect." - - - Janusz Korczak ... In the Philippines, whatever has been achieved through the power of prayer is sick and insane. To begin with, nothing has ever been achieved through the power of prayer! This is so shamelessly obvious since millions upon millions of Filipinos are still busy praying daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly? The power of prayer in the Philippines has been going on since the 16th century. Today, in this already 21st century, millions of us Filipinos are still stuck with our sick and insane prayers! God as a Supernatural Jerk
My interest in the existence of God began when I reached the age of reason some 70 years ago. Oh yes, my search for the existence of God began during my youthful years. Today at 78 years of age, as a senior citizen, I am quite sure there is no God; and if there were a God, such a God has got to be a supernatural Jerk... Soon I will be dead. After death, and there is life after death, I really do not give 2 hoots about meeting such a God in the hereafter! . . . Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

So God Exists, So What
You may have valid evidences to prove the existence of God, but there is yet a greater problem; how do you explain God's endless ways and means of always being never omni-present, as god is only always omni-absent? Indeed, Who or What or Where is God? How do we meet God in the here and now, and not later by and by in the sky after death? Poch Suzara twitter# Facebook# Google#
