WHO OR WHAT IS A GOD

Who  or what is a God? What is He like? A according to the saints of the church,
here are 6 personality traits of God:

He is Knowable.

God, who created the universe in all of its magnitude and creative details, is able to be known, by us. He tells us about himself, but even goes beyond that. He welcomes us into a relationship, so that we personally can get to know him. Not only can we know about him, we can know him, intimately.
"Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom
or the strong man boast of his strength
or the rich man boast of his riches,
but let him who boasts boast about this:
that he understands and knows me,
that I am the Lord,
who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth,
for in these I delight," declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 9:23,24)
He is Welcoming.
God invites us to talk to him and engage him in what concerns us. We don't have to get our act together first. Neither do we need to be polite, theologically correct or holy. It is his nature to be loving and accepting when we go to him.
"The Lord is near to all who call on him,

to all who call on him in truth." (Psalms 145:18)

He is Creative.

Everything we make is put together with existing materials or built on previous thoughts. God has the capacity of speaking things into existence, not just galaxies and life forms, but solutions to today's problems. God is creative, for us. His power is something he wants us to be aware of and to rely on.
"Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
his understanding has no limit." (Psalms 147:5)
"...where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,

the Maker of heaven and earth." (Psalms 121:1,2)

He is Forgiving.

We sin. We tend to do things our way instead of God's way. And he sees it and knows it. God does not merely overlook such sin, but is prepared to judge and condemn people for their sin. However, God is forgiving and will forgive us from the moment we begin a relationship with him. Jesus, the Son of God, paid for our sin with his death on a cross. He rose from the dead and offers us this forgiveness.
"We are made right in God's sight when we trust in Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, no matter who we are or what we have done... We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed his blood, sacrificing his life for us." (Romans 3:22,25)

He is Honest.

Just like a person who lets you know their thoughts and feelings, God clearly tells us about himself, the possible difference being, he is always honest. Everything he says about himself, or about us, is reliable information. Truer than our feelings, thoughts, and perception, God is totally accurate and honest in what he says. Every promise he makes to us can be fully counted on, he means it. We can take him at his word.
"The unfolding of your words gives light;
>it gives understanding to the simple.
>Your word is a lamp to my feet

>and a light to my path." (Psalms 119:130,105)

He is Capable.

How would you like to be always 100% right, about everything? God is. His wisdom is unlimited. He understands all the elements of a situation, including the history and future events related to it. We do not have to update him, counsel him or persuade him to do the right thing. He will, because he is capable and his motives are pure. If we trust him, he will never make a mistake, never undercut us or deceive us. He can be fully trusted to do what is right, in all circumstances, at all times.

"No one whose hope is in you
will ever be put to shame..." (Psalms 25:3)

This is who God tells us he is. The following explains how you can begin a relationship with God right now: Knowing God Personally.

COMMENT:

So God is capable, honest, creative, forgiving, and knowable - so, what? The horrible truth about God is that he is only always OMNI-ABSENT. He is never OMNI-PRESENT. We atheists would like to believe in a visible God. We do not give 3 hoots why we should know or believe in the silly existence of an invisible God! - - - Poch Suzara

Solitude

"Solitude is the beginning of all freedom."  - - - William Orville Douglas

Indeed, people who need people are not the luckiest people in the world. In fact, they are the most unfortunate people in the world. People who need people have neither the capacity
nor the sagacity to enjoy the freedom of thought under solitude. Especially the freedom of thought to provoke the thought of others. - - - Poch Suzara

The Bible as the World's Bestseller Book in the World

Over 100 million Bibles are sold or given away each year, with more than 90 percent of American households having one. Such statistics show it is the world’s bestseller—yet, ironically, it is also the world’s least read book; or, the most  misunderstood book. - - - Poch Suzara

Visit the Sick and Hungry Animals at the Manila Zoo

The sick and hungry animals at the Manila Zoo live better than the millions of sick and hungry Filipino children living off garbage in the dirty streets of our major cities.

In the meantime, I repeat: Have any of you ever met a Filipino who got to be FILTHY RICH for believing that God is BAD?

So how come millions upon millions of Filipinos are FILTHY POOR for believing that God is GOOD?

Hey you college educated men  and women of our sick society under a sick government in partner with a sick  church - GISING NA, MGA ULOL! - - - Poch Suzara, La Salle high school expelled student (1950)

GOD LOVES YOU AND HE NEEDS MONEY

Religion convinced the world that there's an invisible man in the sky who watches everything you do. And there's 10 things he doesn't want you to do or else you'll be burning at a place with a lake of fire until the end of eternity. But he loves you! ...And he needs money! He's all powerful, but he can't handle money! --- George Carlin

COMMENT:

If I had enlightened comedians like George Carlin as my teachers in La Salle grade school and high school, never would I have gotten expelled out of high school. In fact, I would have ended up as a college professor myself. - - - Poch Suzara

MANILA, Philippines - Janet Lim-Napoles is set to identify all the government officials involved in the pork barrel fund scam, her lawyer revealed yesterday.
Stephen David said Napoles is willing to cooperate in the reinvestigation of the Department of Justice (DOJ) on the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) anomaly.
“Of course, there will be more officials,” David told reporters after a closed-door meeting with Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II.
David said Napoles might come up with another list of politicians who benefitted from the pork barrel, which he claimed would be longer than the list she earlier submitted to the DOJ.
He hinted the list would also include an official in the previous administration “higher than lawmakers.”
“If she will become state witness, she should tell everything she knows... whoever is involved should really be exposed. Whatever the truth is, it should come out. Because the truth will set you free,” he said.

David, however, refused to name the high official, saying it might preempt the statement to be submitted by Napoles.
David said he had a meeting with Aguirre to discuss the possibility of Napoles becoming a state witness as well as her inclusion in the witness protection program.
David stressed the safety of his client was under threat.
“We are requesting, on our part, that she should be given a proper security should this proposition push through,” he said.
David added there were instances last February when Napoles’ personal belongings were ransacked.
“There were instances whien her belongings were scattered inside her cell as if looking for something and almost every night she started feeling uneasy for she felt someone is intently watching her,” David said.
David said Napoles is also receiving written threats from unknown individuals.
He said the threats against Napoles turned serious when the government declared the possibility of taking her as state witness in the PDAF scam.
Though he has no direct proof, David believes the threats came from “former and current high-ranking public officials who have the capability and capacity to consummate the threats.”
“These are the public officials who want Mrs. Napoles to keep silent and not expose her knowledge on the issues,” he said.
COMMENT:
All in the Philippine government as officials including those higher than lawmakers all share something sick and insane and corrupt together: they are college educated saps and jerks who all believe, love, and worship God only because such a God is always able to forgive them of their sins and crimes!

Sick Religion as Product of a Sick System of Education

“When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called Religion.” - - - Robert M. Pirsig

In the Philippines, when one Filipino suffers from lies and corruption, it is called insanity. When millions of Filipinos suffer from a sick system of education, it is known as the power, glory, and authority behind Christianity.

In the meantime, in the Philippines, there is
no such thing as "love of country, love of fellow-Filipinos, love of beauty, or the pursuit
of happiness for the Filipino family." There is only the daily prayers said by millions, specially to Mary, the Mother of God, to "pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, amen. - - - Poch Suzara

GOOD MORNING BIBLE READERS AND JESUS' FOLLOWERS,

AM SIMPLY WONDERING WHY IS NO ONE EVEN TRY TELLING POCH HE IS POSTING LIES.  BELOW IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF POCH TELLING YOU "WHAT MAKES FILIPINO FAMILIES VALUES ROTTEN."

Matthew 10:34 "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword."
O ANO ANG IBIG SABIHIN NITO?  SAGOT MGA BIBLE READERS, MGA JESUS' FOLLOWERS.
Matthew 26:52 Then said Jesus unto him, "Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword."
ANO ANG IBIG SABIHIN NITO?
Luke 22:36 He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one."
Matthew 8:21-22 And another of his disciples said unto him, "Suffer me first to go and bury my father." But Jesus said unto him, "Follow me and let the dead bury their dead."
HETO, MALINAW BA SA INYO ITO?  OKEY BA SA INYO ITONG SINABI NI HESUS?
Matthew 10:35-37 "For I have come to turn a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law — a man's enemies will be the members of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me."
SIGURU NAMAN NANINIWALA NA KAYO NGAYON, NA ANG NAGSIRA NG FILIPINO VALUES AY ANG MGA PANGARAL NI HESUS ANO?  KUNG HINDI, EH ANO ANG IBIG SABIHIN NITO, MALIWANAG PA SA ARAW ITONG SINABI NIYA EH.
Matthew 12:46-50 While he yet talked to the people, behold his mother and brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. Then one said unto him, "Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with you." But he answered and said, "Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand towards his disciples, and said, "Behold, my mother and my brethren! For whoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother."
AHA, ITO SIGURU MEDYU MABUTI ANO?
Matthew 19:29 "And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life."
O SINO SA INYO NA NILAYASAN ANG PAMILYA DAHILAN KAY HESUS? KAYUNG KASALI DITO SA FORUM, ANO IKAW NATHANIEL, IKAW JUN, GUSTO MO BANG LAYASAN ANG PAMILYA MO NGAYON AT SASAMA KA KAY HESUS?  ANG SISTI, EH PAG MAY GUMAWA NG GANUON, ANG TINGIN SA TAUNG ITO, AY MASAMA.  SA KABILANG DAKO NAMAN MAYRUON MGA PASTOR DIYAN NA NILAYASAN ANG PAMILYA, AT ANG GAWA AY MAKIKAIN SA MGA DUKHA, KAGAYA NG GAWA NI HESUS, NAKIKIKAIN SA IBA IBANG BAHAY, HINDI NAGTRABAHO.  HAYAN GINAGAYA SIYA MG MGA PASTOR.  TAMA BA ANG GAWA NG MGA TAUNG ITO?
Mark 3:33-35 "Who are my mother and my brothers?" [Jesus] asked. Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, "Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does God's will is my brother and sister and mother."
Mark 10:29,30 "Yes," Jesus replied, "and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake and for the Good News, will receive now in return a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and property—along with persecution. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life.
O ITO, MAGAGAWA BA NINYO ITO?  KAYA NAPAKARAMI NG NASISIRAAN NG BAIT DAHILAN SA PANGAKONG ITO NI HESUS.  SINO ANG NAKARATING SA WALANG HANGGANG BUHAY?  ANO BA ANG IBIG SABIHIN NITO "ETERNAL LIFE?"
Luke 9:60 "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God."
Luke 9:61,62 Still another said, "I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say good bye to my family." Jesus replied, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God."
INAKU !!  PALAGAY KO AYAW KO NANG MAGPATULOY PA NG PAGBABASA NG MGA SUMUSUNUD NA PANGARAL.  MAHIRAP BILHIN - NAKAKALOKA !!!
Luke 12:49-53 "I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is completed! Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law."
Luke 14:26 [What about John 3:15 and 4:19-21 (below)?] "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters — yes, even his own life — he cannot be my disciple." [NOTE: Buybull thumpers often say that this doesn't really mean “hate,” it just means “love less.” Some translations even word it like that (e.g. Contemporary English Version), because they don't like that nasty word “hate.” The original Greek word “miseo” always means hate; it has no alternative meaning. The prefixes for misanthropy and misogyny come from miseo. This just shows how screwed-up their minds are. If hate equals a form of love, how can we trust anything that those translations say?]
Luke 19:27 [In the words of a king in a parable.] "But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them — bring them here and kill them in front of me."
John 2:4 Jesus saith unto [his mother], "Woman, what have I to do with thee? Mine hour is not yet come."
John 12:25 "The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life."
Please read your SICK BIBLE! And then try and figure out why in this only Catholic country in Asia since  the 16th century, there is no such thing as the beauty or the sanity or the tranquility of family values. We Filipinos only know how to love Jesus up there by hating one another down here! - - - Poch Suzara

EVERY CHILD IS BORN AS AN ATHEIST

Every one is born an atheist

My dear reader, I am happy to admit, that just exactly like you, I too was born an atheist. Indeed, all babies are born atheists: free from religion. No baby is born as a Jew, or a Muslim, or a Catholic, or a Hindu, or a Buddhist. All babies are born free and then indoctrinated. For my part, I was raised and educated as a Catholic; not because of my free will, but because my parents and grandparents were reminded of hell-fire if they did not choose to have me baptized in a Catholic church and have me enrolled in a Catholic school. However, when I attained the age of intellectual discretion, I duly repudiated Catholicism. I then became in the truest sense of the term: A Born-Again Atheist. Well, just like everybody else, I am happy with the thought that I will leave this world one day as an atheist. After I am dead, I cannot see how I could still possess the capacity to believe in anything biblical or ecclesiastical or irrational or to disbelieve in anything at all. What I would leave behind would be my energy that was once bundled up as my body. Now energy can neither be created nor destroyed. I will leave my energy behind and I would rather let the laws of nature figure out what to do with it in the billions of years to come.  Who knows, I may emerge one day again as a man. That would really be wonderful especially if I were to be resurrected not as a sick Filipino or a silly American, but simply as a thinking man. - - - Poch Suzara
