My own beliefs are not immutable; in fact, mutable - subject to change or emendation. Indeed, my beliefs are tentative; never definite. My critics are all welcome to tear my beliefs apart. If my logic fails me, I will make the necessary changes or, if need be, I will abandon my beliefs.In the ultimate analysis, I do not care to know whether my beliefs are right or wrong; what's important is if my beliefs were on the road toward the truth.
