As A Little Boy in School

As a little boy in grade school and high school in De La Salle College, I never heard of science or the scientific way of thinking. Only the religious way of believing. I learned much about God and his angels; heaven and hell; Jesus, Mary and Joseph, and the saints. I also heard much about the devil and his ambition to win more souls for hell-fire. I was taught to be busy with sin and be busier with confession. No, I was not educated; I was indoctrinated; specially to be good; unfortunately, to be good for nothing for this world.
