Imagine these panderers among the few rich and the famous operating the business of selling Jesus only for decades as compared to the wealth, power, and glory of the Catholic church and Iglesia Ni Cristo operating the business of selling Jesus for centuries in this poor and backward country.
In the Philippines, Christianity has never been a religion. It has always been and still is an industry. Overshadowing the minor religious corporations in the Philippines is the major one - the Catholic church - the owner of the richest and most powerful bank in the world today - the Vatican Bank! Religion is a way of life, not a story. It's about loving your fellowmen and about living a holy life in accordance with God's righteousness. For mankind to understand how this is done, God has sent His preacher in these last days to spread the Gospel so that many may be saved. This is where you will be able to discern who among the preachers are out there just to make big bucks or to sincerely serve God's purpose. You mentioned several names, including that of Bro Eliseo Soriano, who make big business out of religion. You surely got your facts wrong. Do your own research and not just rely on hearsay. Bro Soriano is the only preacher I know who spends his own or even has to borrow money just to sustain his global evangelization mission since more than 90% of the members of the Church he belongs to are not well-off in this life.
You claim that reason is what you live for. You also portray to know a lot of verses in the Bible. Your blog may be careless indeed & it is proven by the wrath of most of those who commented on your thoughts. What I am sure is that no Minister/s of the INC has ever included any property paid by their Church in order to purchase them (whether it be Real Property nor automobiles) under their name. They are forbidden to purchase using Church money to pay for properties & place them under their name.Even the Manalos don't have any Real Property placed under their name. If you can show one then THAT WOULD BE NEWS! But the sad thing is that most if not all of the Real Properties of the Ang Dating Daan religious movement is placed under Mr. Eliseo Soriano's name. Why is he afraid to place all those properties in the name of his organization? One must wonder. :/

They are all selling what Filipinos have to been educated to be faithfully buying - Jesus Christ - the Son of God who promised to come back from heaven some 2,000 years ago to fix the problems of the Philippines with a Second Coming since the First Coming was a total failure.
