Praying
Sept. 9,2011

Letter to the Editors
Dear Sirs:
After 4 centuries of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly prayers to God to "give us this day our daily bread," and to "lead us not into temptation," and prayers to Mary, Mother of God, to "pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death," how come the results have been nothing but only for us to keep on praying for more of the same old nothing?
Praying is like rocking a chair. It inspires us to do something. But how come prayers have not, as yet, gotten us anywhere? We remain directionless as a people and rudderless as a nation? Indeed, in this already 21st century, we Filipinos are only getting more famous as the Sick Man of Asia!
In the meantime, when you talk to God or to Mary, the Mother of God it is called "praying." When God, or Mary, the Mother of God talks to you God talks to us, it is known as "hallucinating?" Poch Suzara

Hi :) I think sometime people pray without expecting miracles. We have to EXPECT. God healed me from two incurable diseases. I felt Him. I now have no food allergies and am fibromyalgia free!! I know that sounds crazy. But it's true. I think sometimes people make prayer like a rocking chair.. but we forget that prayer is communication. God can talk back... and He does. We just have to listen. Most people forget how, I guess. Or they never learn.
Please Shelby, don't be silly. Childish. Do you really believe that God himself is just as silly or childish by curing diseases only in retail, not wholesale? As a result of prayer, God can just simply make not diseases, but health contagious. Poch Suzara
