We Atheists Celebrate Something Greater than the Birth of Jesus

We have no need to carry silly beliefs on our backs. We have no need to be emotionally distorted, mentally twisted, or even be psychologically crippled by its weight. . . During Christmas, for example, we atheists do not celebrate the birth of Jesus. Instead, we celebrate the birth of human decency. We celebrate man's thinking capacity for ethical and moral growth and development to help spread social justice in the here and now more known as peace on earth, the beauty of love, the power of knowledge, and the joys in life in this world.
