The Evils of Capitalism

Advocates of capitalism are very apt to appeal to the sacred principles of liberty, which are embodied in one maxim: The fortunate must not be restrained in the exercise of tyranny over the unfortunate... Bertrand Russell... We are now told that "conscious capitalism" creates values. Well, I ask: how so? Since in this world, the few rich are getting filthy richer; while the many poor are only getting filthy poorer? Work is socialized, but the profit from such work is privatized. . . Indeed, Capital has value but only with the power of labor... When someone tells that they got rich through hard work, ask them, "whose?" Again, listen to Bertrand Russell: "It is preoccupation with possessions, more than anything else, that prevents men from living freely and nobly."... In the Philippines, one of the poorest countries in the world under capitalism, (especially as blessed by Catholicism) millions upon millions of Filipinos are the filthy poor... They are taught to SMILE because GOD LOVES THEM!!! It is more referred to as "religious freedom;" or, the freedom to be a religious moron; especially for the glory of Christ Jesus on earth as he is in heaven or in hell!. . .
