Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. With millions of Filipinos, however, security exist as they have been taught via schools, colleges, and universities that they are secured and blessed like in "blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
