Lonely

I could knock on any university door and say to the teachers and professors – I will think the way you want me to think. I could knock on any house door and say to people - I will live the way you want me to live. I could knock on any church door and say to the priest - I will believe the way you want me to believe and never, will I ever be lonely again.

Happily, I say: I would rather be lonely with self-respect and dignity than have faith in the collectivity of human stupidity that generates the perversity of social insanity. Poch Suzara

The Walking Dead

The religious morons of our sick society are now telling me that there is a difference between restoration of the dead back to life as told in the Old Testament; and resurrection of the Jesus dead on the cross back to life as told in the New Testament.

Well, if there were really a difference between restoration and resurrection, why would God get any one dead in the first place? Why not keep them alive in order to avoid the useless drama of either silly restoration back to life or silly resurrection back to life?

And what’s the big deal about the power of God where God uses that power only to impress the dead but not to impress those who are still living? Surely, the Filipino, among the most spiritually poor people, if not morally bankrupt as a nation in the whole of Asia today can certainly use some of that power from God.
But where is that power from God? Hell, where is God? Poch Suzara

Abortion

The US Supreme Court said abortion is a constitutional right. The church and the pro-life, especially, in the Philippines, disagree. Let the church and the pro-life therefore take care of the abandoned children existing under subhuman conditions in the streets of our major cities. If they cannot or refuse to do so, we have the constitutional right to tell them to put up or to shut up.

In the meantime, men and women should have all the right and privilege of having sex for fun and not for the result of reckless or unwanty pregnancy. In this way, what takes over is prevention of pregnancy, not the promotion of abortion. Thus the HR Bill. Poch Suzara

Easy Believing

Religion is the greatest joy life has to offer to billions of people living on this earth. They hate to think. They love only to believe and happily, religion kills the necessity of thought. Indeed, for billions of people easy believing is always more convenient than hard thinking. Poch Suzara

The Power of Prayer

A religious moron wrote: “I BELEIVE THERE WAS A TIME WHEN WE WERE A NATION OF PRAYERS..BUT NOW, LOOK AROUND YOU..WE ARE NO LONGER A NATION OF PRAYERS BUT A NATION OF READERS. AMEN. "LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED"

With my untroubled heart, I ask: whatever happened to the power of prayer behind the power of God? Poch Suzara

Human Affairs

“In human affairs, there are forces making for happiness, and forces making for misery. We do not know which will prevail, but to act wisely we must be aware of both.” Bertrand Russell

For my part, I am aware of both atheism and theism having been raised and indoctrinated as a Catholic at home and in school during my younger years.

What about you religious morons? How come you are not even aware of the traditional misery that is keeping the Filipino spiritually poor as a people and keeping the Philippines morally backward as a nation? Poch Suzara

Debate on the Existence of God

In a debate between a theologian and a philosopher on the existence of God, the philosopher asked: - where is God around located? How come God is only always omni-absent, never omni-present during the debate? In fact, if there is a God – why is he always hiding, always playing the Hide and Seek game – never revealing himself to anyone? For my part, Why should I believe, love, worship, and adore such God who is never available to reveal himself to me? Especially as I have openly and publicly declared myself as an atheist living in this only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century. Poch Suzara

Lonely

I could knock on any door and say to people that I will live the way you want me to live. I could knock on any church door and say to the priest I will believe the way you want me to believe. I could knock on any university door and say to the teachers and professors I will think the way you want me to think, and never will I ever be lonely again.

I say: Fuck that shit! I would rather be lonely at any time than live a life of fear all the time. Poch Suzara

We are not a Nation of Readers

No, we are NOT a nation of readers. We are a nation of prayers. In fact, there are college-educated men and women on these pages - who have not ceased praying for me, a high school expelled student, to stop writing - specially about Bertrand Russell. The same Bertrand Russell – who saved not my silly soul, but saved instead my precious mind. Russell wrote: “We are all born ignorant, not stupid. We are made stupid by education.” Indeed, the same Bertrand Russell who also wrote some 100 years ago - "Education must foster the development of freedom of action and thought. This is the ultimate purpose of teaching and learning. Only a free human being can be a skeptical one; conversely, only a skeptical person can ultimately achieve genuine freedom." Any one of you out there believe that such words from Bertrand Russell can one day become obsolete - you got to be well-established in the ways of what precisely is keeping the Philippines - poor spiritually, bankrupt morally, insane politically, sick socially, retarded culturally, and childish religiously - as a nation. I REST MY CASE. Poch Suzara

Women In general

Most women look so pretty, sexy, and delicious. I hope to meet more of these women and discuss facts of life with them. For example, why man gives love in order to get sex. And why woman gives sex in order to get love.

At most times, however, the result is an unwanted pregnancy in order to maintain our sick society as parts of our sick world. Indeed, the troubles of our world begin with the family derailed. To think that while the woman is stuck with the baby, the man goes on giving more love to more women everywhere while he has been taught to believe that God will provide for these women and children. Most women too have been taught to believe that, no matter what, in the end of it all - there is always Jesus who will be their Savior.

In the meantime, life is a sexually transmitted disease with a mortality rate of 100 per cent. Poch Suzara

A Man of Hate

I am told that I am a man of hate. Indeed, I am a man of hate. I hate believing. I love, however, learning, discovering, and knowing. That is why I hated school. They only taught what to believe; not how to think. Poch Suzara

Our Forsaken Country

I said it before, I say it again: what is happening to the Philippines as one of the poorest and most backward country in Asia today is not that it is God-forsaken under a divine negligence, but worst: due to corruption by education, it has been forsaken by human intelligence.

Consider our college educated men. If they are not enjoying a higher standard of living in foreign countries, they are stuck at home busy in the baby factory helping our women manufacture more babies.

Now consider our college educated women. A great many of them are earning better wages overseas. At the expense, however, of their honor, self-respect, and dignity just to keep alive back home - marital relationships already destroyed, or the family already derailed. poch suzara

Stupid Faith

I said it before, I say it again: fuck faith. Faith has NOTHING to do with what is KNOWN. Faith can only exist in the arena of the UNKNOWN or in the realm of the UNKNOWABLE or in anything that is not worth KNOWING. No doubt when I was young, innocent, gullible, selfish, stupid, and insane, and filled with fear of this and fear of that - I was then, indeed, a MAN OF FAITH. Well, a man of faith is like a drunkard who clings to a lamppost for support, not illumination. In the meantime, just as much as Christianity must destroy reason before it can introduce faith, it must also destroy happiness before it can introduce salvation. It cannot be emphasized too strongly that Christianity has a vested interest in human misery. And nothing brings more misery to the human community than having faith in the perpetual stupidity behind Christianity. Poch Suzara

19.4 Million Students

“.81 million pre-schoolers, 13.9 million elementary students, 5.56 million high school students or 19.4 million students back to school today.” Phil Star June 1, 2009.

The Department of Health ( DOH ) and the Department of Education ( DepEd ) officials are on alert amid concerns of possible outbreak of Influenza virus in campuses.

For my part, as the chairman of the high school dropout Association of the Philippines, I should be more concerned for these millions of students ending up to be among the Sick Man of Asia in the future. They too will be taught to hold in deep faith that there will be a better world to come after death, and that after education, there will be a better country to go to and enjoy a higher standard of living and thinking, and indeed, remuneration. Poch Suzara

Original Ignorance

Original Sin is not as horrible as the Original Ignorance. After all, we are all born ignorant, not sinful. We are made sinful by another of God’s creation – the devil – the silly talking Serpent - responsible for the Fall of Man during biblical times. Ah, perhaps I am wrong. But where did original stupidity come from if not from original divinity as inspired by the original deviltry? Look how, in this modern day and age, we still continue to pray to God to give us this day our daily bread, and to lead us not into temptation? And if that were not enough, we also continue praying to Mary, the Mother of God, to pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, amen! Poch Suzara

No life after Death

So there is no life after death! So what? Listen to Bertrand Russell – the philosopher who saved not stupid souls, but cultivated instead intelligent minds:

“I believe that when I die I shall rot, and nothing of my ego will survive. I am not young, and I love life. But I should scorn to shiver with terror at the thought of annihilation. Happiness is nonetheless true happiness because it must come to an end, nor do thought and love lose their value because they are not everlasting.”

In the meantime, nothing is more natural than to believe that death is definite, not tentative. Or that death is a transition to a better life to come. Nothing is more absurd than to believe that the dead man is still living. Indeed, to pretend that we will be happy or unhappy after death of the body, is to pretend that we will still be able to see without eyes, to hear without ears, to taste without palate, to smell without a nose, and to feel without hands and skin. To propagate without the physical means to sexually penetrate. Poch Suzara

Private Relations

“In our private relations we all get busy that we have not time to develop affections for others, as they deserve to be developed; we have not time for sympathy, the understanding for those things that make for the beauty of human relations, because we are all so busy, and when we are not busy we tired.” Bertrand Russell

And that is why most marriages, most relationships - do not last unless of course we are busy with and for each other’s sake for a better future.

In the meantime, for each and every one of us – the day we are born, is also the day we begin to live in a dying body. That is why, if we must die, let is die sober, and not drunk or busy with lies. Poch Suzara

Bertrand Russell and Happiness

Bertrand Russell wrote: "Pleasure in itself is a good, but not a very important good, and it cannot satisfactorily be made an end of life because it does not entail progressive activity. To achieve happiness it is necessary to have some end never completely realized, but always in the process of realization. Ambition, parental affection, scientific curiosity, artistic creativeness, supply such activities; a man or woman who is absorbed in one of these and is not wholly unsuccessful can achieve a measure of happiness, but a man or woman who lives for pleasurable moments is certain, ultimately, to be the prey of unendurable boredom.”

As for me – I am enjoying my life as I am indeed a happy individual. I am happy because I found a job, nay, a lifetime career – to be involved in the war against Christianity which to defeat will take as yet another a century. Poch Suzara

Good World

We know from the bible that when God created the world he saw that it was good. Unfortunately, not so good for the religious morons who have to live in this “good” world. Happily, however, they have been told to believe that there will be a better world to come after death. Unfortunately, where exactly is that world located – nobody knows. Not even the theologians – the experts on the knowledge of God, heaven, hell, and purgatory, and the existence of the devil.

In the meantime, God also stated in the same bible to “love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the father is not with him.” John 2:15

Is it any wonder that spirituality plus Christianity add up to nothing but organized insanity that makes for our sick society? Poch Suzara

Evil – the Absence of God

We are told that "Evil is simply the absence of God. Evil is a term man developed to describe the absence of God....God did not create evil. It is not like TRUTH, or LOVE, which exists as virtues or, like heat or light. Evil is simply the state where GOD IS NOT PRESENT, like cold without heat or darkness without light."

So what in hell is God doing present only in places where evil is absent? Is God afraid to face and confront evil? Indeed, while God is not present everywhere, why then does he allow the devil to be in charge of evil everywhere in this world? Can any of you religious morons explain the existence of the stupid devil under God’s management?

As an atheist, I am dead sure that there is no God existing out there. However, if I am wrong that it turns out that there is really a God existing out there, then I say such a God is not worth loving, respecting, and believing. Such a God, no doubt, is good; unfortunately, good for nothing. Poch Suzara
