The Philippines - Still Sick as a Nation under Catholicism

Britain and Spain once dominated sheep production and trade. In the early twenty-first century, dominance has shifted to former British colonies of the Southern Hemisphere. Australia ranks first in wool exports. Second-ranked New Zealand is a big exporter of carpet wool, mainly from its Romney breed, a native of English lowlands. Both nations are also top exporters of lamb. At the end of the twentieth century, Australia had 115.8 million head of sheep, slightly behind the world's largest flock, 131 million head in China (where they are mainly for domestic use). New Zealand was third with 45 million sheep, followed by South Africa and Turkey. China is a leading importer of wool for its mills. . . Such industries are for the sake of the economy of such countries... with us Filipinos, however, instead of producing more cows, horses, ducks, turkeys, goats, pigs, chickens, sheeps, and cloning more shrimps, crabs, lobsters and crocodiles for export, we produce 1.5 million babies every year for the sake of the wealth, power, glory, and authority of the Catholic church in charge of a sick system of education keeping us poor as a people and backward as a nation. Our Sick Values and Sick Beliefs

“I would like the Filipinos to be brilliant, enlightened, intelligent, and progressive.” Jose Rizal ... Regrettably, however, with the catholic system of education, the exact opposite have been taught to us to believe. We Filipinos must only learn the ways of sinners as a people; and, learn also the ways of the criminals as a nation. Otherwise, how will God succeed in forgiving our crimes; and, how will the Son of God Jesus succeed in forgiving our sins? ... My dear reader, do you now see why the Catholic church had to get Jose Rizal arrested, incarcerated, and publicly executed? His writings were a threat to the existence of the wealth, power, glory, and authority of the catholic teachings in order to keep our country under catholic rule and domination for centuries yet to come. . . Oh God, Shame on You

"God may deny our request, but He will never disappoint our trust." Philippine Star, Nov. 12, 2014. Oh God, my dear God, shame on you. At your age. Opportunities in Life

Life opens up opportunities to you, and you either take them or you stay afraid of taking them. . . Jim Carrey ... Oh my dear Jim Carrey, life has always offered me to choose either love, or fear, or to question everything. I chose to question everything including love and fear. The Greatest of Freedom

In war, our soldiers die in battle to protect and to defend freedom. And yet, like the misguided saps and frightened jerks that we all are - we are afraid to enjoy the greatest of freedom - the freedom to think; especially the freedom to question everything. It is the foundation behind human knowledge and its growth and development. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

I Celebrate Christmas With These Precious Thoughts

We are told that we are saved not by what we do but by trusting what Christ has done. To think that this is the same Christ who was born of a Jewish family in Jewish town under Jewish culture and tradition some 2,000 years ago. Israel today is not even a Christian country. It is a Jewish State populated by Jews, ruled by Jews, and inspired by Judaism – a major religion that does not celebrate Christmas – the Birth of Christ. . . In this already 21st century, if Christ cares not to save his native fellow-Jews in Israel, why should Christ bother to save the Filipinos or even save the Philippines?

In the meantime, the pleasures in growth and positive achievement, the love of life, happy, expansive, generous, and creative; glad when others happy, and not glad when others are not happy - are the precious things on my mind while I celebrate Christmas this year. Indeed, for this Christmas, I should wish to celebrate the birth of the Filipino capacity to think, especially to think in terms of growth as a decent people, and  development of the Philippines as a decent nation. I have no wish to celebrate the birth anniversary of Christ, but to celebrate instead the birth of the Filipino capacity to love the truth, beauty, knowledge, and the joys of this life in this world in the here and now. These will do for Christmas this year; however, for Christmas next year, I may wish to celebrate Christmas with deeper or higher reasons! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU. Success in Life

SUCCESS IN LIFE is what little men would settle for; specially since they have been intellectually crippled to think of anything great to be failing at. Bro. Apollo Quiboloy -, the Appointed Sick Son of a Sick God

Bro. Apollo Quiboloy of the Appointed Son of God church, appearing on TV daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly, - preaching the Word of God, as written in the bible, is beginning to sound more and more like the disappointed sick son of a disappointed sick God. In the meantime, it is, indeed, rather sick to believe that God himself is so sick in that He needs a sick religious jerk like Bro. Apollo Quiboloy to preach to Filipinos and to the world at large the sick Word of God as written in the sick bible by sick authors of God. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Trouble With Most Men

The trouble with most men is their birth. They are still trying to get born - trying to get out of mama's womb. These are the men who believe that most battles in life are won not by thinking with our heads, but by praying on our knees. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Freedom From Offense is not Human Right

Atheists are frequently called out for offending religious people even when all we're doing is stating facts about religion, even citing verses from their holy books. The use of personal offense as a defensive mechanism often serves to shut down the freedom of speech religious people hope and pray for. If what I post here is something that's offensive to you, delete it. Why should I censure myself just because you are such a cry-baby, a mama's boyish jerk, petty, frightened, and only more proud sucking your religious lollipop as a dumbstruck college-educated lawyer with your small brain stuck in mediocrity? Religion Against the Philippines

We keep being told that religion, whatever it's imperfections, at least instills morality. On every side, there is conclusive evidence that the contrary is the case and that faith causes people to be more mean, more selfish, and perhaps above all, more stupid. - Christopher Hitchens . . . Oh My Dear Mr. Christopher Hitchens, in the Philippines, nothing but religion has made us Filipinos poor and sick as a people, and nothing but religion has made our country dirty and backward. The religion more known as Catholicism. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Philippines is My Country

The Philippines is my country and getting rid of the insanity behind Christianity out of my country is my religion... I said it before, I say it again: what should hold us together as a people is not some mysterious silly divinity up out there, but only love for our country down here...In this way, I want my country to be under the guidance of science and technology, and no more inspired by silly prayers under a sick theology. . . The Harm Done by Religion in the Philippines

"Religion does three things quite effectively: Divides people, Controls people, Deludes people.”- - - Carlespie Mary Alice McKinney . . In the Philippines, as the only Catholic country in Asia, religion has also done another great harm; IT HAS MADE US FILIPINOS HISTORICALLY FAMOUS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD AS THE SICK MAN OF ASIA!... Thanks specially to our college-educated religious lawyers and more famous bible morons like Bro. Apollo Quiboloy of the Appointed Son of God who sounds more and more on TV like he is the DISAPPOINTED SON OF A VERY DISAPPOINTED GOD!... Not to mention the other famous religious morons of the Philippines - Bro. Eli Soriano, Bro. Mike Velarde, Bro. Eddie Villanueva, Bro. Bo Sanchez, and Bro. Eduardo Manalo, etc. - all enriching themselves by selling what millions of frightened Filipinos continue to be buying - Jesus. As if Jesus, a Jewish born person, already saved his own Jewish people - the Chosen People of God. So that Jesus also has the time to save the Filipinos existing in this only Catholic country in Asia. This, while the whole wide world continues to be wracked with troubles due to, if not because of other sick religious beliefs and sick values. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Robert G. Ingersoll on Blasphemy

No man can blaspheme a book. No man can commit blasphemy by telling his honest thought. No man can blaspheme a God, or a Holy Ghost, or a Son of God. The Infinite cannot be blasphemed. What is blasphemy? I will give you a definition; I will give you my thought upon this subject. What is real blasphemy? To live on the unpaid labor of other men — that is blasphemy. To enslave your fellow-man, to put chains upon his body — that is blasphemy. To enslave the minds of men, to put manacles upon the brain, padlocks upon the lips — that is blasphemy. To deny what you believe to be true, to admit to be true what you believe to be a lie — that is blasphemy. To strike the weak and unprotected, in order that you may gain the applause of the ignorant and superstitious mob — that is blasphemy. To persecute the intelligent few, at the command of the ignorant many — that is blasphemy. To forge chains, to build dungeons, for your honest fellow-men — that is blasphemy. To pollute the souls of children with the dogma of eternal pain — that is blasphemy. To violate your conscience — that is blasphemy. The jury that gives an unjust verdict, and the judge who pronounces an unjust sentence, are blasphemers. The man who bows to public opinion against his better judgment and against his honest conviction, is a blasphemer. Why should we fear our fellow-men? Why should not each human being have the right, so far as thought and its expression are concerned, of all the world? What harm can come from an honest interchange of thought? Poch Suzara

Religion is What Makes us Sick as the Sick Children of Asia

Religion is the only institution powerful and demented enough to turn a gruesome image of a man being tortured and murdered into something worthy of praise and worship by millions. . . In the meantime, I say it again: - - - If Jesus was GOD, AGAIN, I invite you all to please READ seriously your bible. For example please read: - - - If Jesus was GOD, then why in John 14:28 Jesus said "My Father (GOD) is greater than I"? - - - If Jesus was GOD, then why in John 20:17 Jesus said I ascend to my God and your God? This tells us that we and Jesus have a common GOD. . . . If Jesus was GOD, then why in John 8:28 Jesus said "I do nothing of myself"? Can't GOD do anything he wills. . . If Jesus was GOD, then why in Matthew 24:36 Jesus told his followers that no one (including Jesus) knows when the judgment day will come, only GOD knows? . . . If Jesus was GOD, then why in John 5:32 Jesus told his followers that they have never seen GOD at anytime nor ever heard his voice? . . . If Jesus was GOD, then why in Matthew 19:16 Jesus said "Why call me good, there is none good but One, that is GOD"? . . . If Jesus was GOD, then why in Isiah 11:2-3 GOD had put the spirit of fearing GOD in Jesus? . . . If Jesus was GOD, then why in John 5:30 Jesus told his followers that he can't do a single thing of his own initiative?. . . If Jesus was GOD, then why in John 5:36-38 Jesus said that GOD had assigned him (Jesus) work and GOD is a witness on Jesus? . . . If Jesus was GOD, then why did he pray to his GOD in Luke 5:16? . . . If Jesus was GOD, then why in Matthew 26:39 Jesus fell on his face and prayed to his GOD? . . . If Jesus was God, why would he crucified on the cross cry out loud: "MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAS THOU FORSAKEN ME?" Matt. 27:46 ... Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Philippines as a Failed State

"God's love never fails." Philippine Star, Oct, 23, 2014 . . . In the Philippines, the only Catholic country in Asia since 1521, God's love has failed miserably. . . Failed historically. . . The Philippines is a failed state. . . Why not? Virtually all of our government officials, from the highest to the lowest are not only corrupt, but also, most of them - MAKA-DIOS and MAKA-JESUS! In the meantime, as a failed State, there is neither justice nor truth ongoing in the Philippines. . . Indeed, justice is truth in action. . . The Existence of Germs, Bacteria, and Viruses Not Mentioned in the Bible

How come there is no mention in the holy bible of the existence of germs, viruses, and bacteria as a Revealed Truth? And when God told Noah to save the animals, two of a kind, did Noah know that he was saving such microscopic creatures? . . . Now listen to what science tells us about the world of bacteria, germs, and viruses: - - - If there was no bacteria, humans and plants wouldn't be able to live. . . Bacteria help our bodies develop, and they do a process of nitrogen fixation to help plants give us oxygen. . . Therefore, without bacteria nothing on earth would be able to live. . . . Everyone would die, since we need bacteria inside our body to digest food for us. . . Good bacteria (Normal Flora) breaks down nitrogen and without nitrogen, the plants cannot grow, and without plants, no oxygen. Therefore, no bacteria, no life. . . But we as humans have bacteria on our body. . . Not all bacteria is bad. . . So, if there just wasn't bacteria, then I think it could be bad, because what would happen to the things that need good bacteria to survive? Or even things that need bad bacteria to survive. I don't know if you are familiar with the butterfly effect, but to sum it up quick. . . It means that one small thing can drastically change everything. Bacteria also make vaccines & when something dies, plant or animal, bacteria is what decomposes it. . . When things are rotting, its just bacteria releasing carbon & other important nutrients out of the dead organism and into the air and soil. . . They also decompose compost and sewage which helps create methane. . . If bacteria didn't exist, the waste would just keep accumulating at record speed and interfere with the existence of everything living on earth. . . Plus decomposition returns carbon dioxide into the air which enables plants and the rest of the world to survive. . . This natural recycling process returns minerals to the earth and makes it fit for plants and animals to live. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

All that is Needed is Repentance

Why should the sinners be afraid to commit sins, and why should the criminals be afraid to commit crimes when, during our school years under a Catholic system education we have been taught to believe there is always available, at any time, from God - the forgiveness of sin and the forgiveness of crimes. All that is needed is repentance. Thus, we are a nation of sinners and criminals; or, more briefly, - we are the SICK CHILDREN OF ASIA. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Game of Ideas

As a little boy at home and in school, I enjoyed playing all kinds of games including making my own toys to play with. After I was expelled out of high school, however, I gradually lost my interest in playing or watching games such as football, basketball, baseball, swimming, golf, tennis, handball, boxing, etc. Except, I must mention, I never lost my interest in playing the drums. Indeed, today as a senior citizen I still enjoy my hobby a Jazz drummer. But then again, all in all, I managed, somehow to develop more and greater interest in playing the game of ideas. It was, in this way, that I got to be more of a reader of great books and a thinker of great ideas than most of my friends, associates, classmates, and relatives - most of them as silly believers, if not frightened followers of this or that worthless, if not thoughtless, - priorities. Nearly one third of Filipinos still live below the poverty line. . . I said it before, I say it again: Poverty as a way of daily life historical in the Philippines (the only Catholic country in Asia) is not only due to corruption in the government; but more so due to the sick system of education as provided for by the Catholic church - the owners of more than 1,200 schools, colleges, universities and seminaries operating on tax-free basis in our poor and backward country. . . Indeed, in our sick system of education, millions of us Filipinos are still taught to believe that after death, for as long as fave faith, we shall enjoy eternal happiness, indeed, a better way of life waiting for us in heaven known as the kingdom of God!. . . Corruption and Jesus within our Sick System of Education

If only our system of education had nothing to do with fiction, corruption, lies, and deceptions. If only our schools, colleges, and universities have only to do with the power of reason, the values of wisdom, and the endless pursuit of the truth and happiness in the here and now. Indeed, if our system of education made sense at all, we Filipinos should be ahead of everyone else in Asia today. Enjoying neither damnation nor salvation; but enjoying only scientific growth and technological development as a nation. Unfortunately, due to our sick system of education, we Filipinos continue to be famous as the "Sick Man of Asia." Instead of integrity and sagacity behind our social and political and economic responsibility - what we have created for ourselves is only a Republic of mediocrity. Jesus Christ in the holy bible neatly summarized it for all of us Filipinos in this only Catholic country in Asia: "I am the way, the life, and the truth." Elpidio Barzaga Jr. said he sees no basis for Aquino to resign despite the controversies he is facing because his administration has been effective in implementing reforms promoting good governance. . . "We have the separation of the Church and State.... Sa pananaw ko, itong ating mga kaibigang obispo should concentrate more [on] strengthening the moral fiber of all Catholics and all the people in the Philippines rather than asking for the resignation of the President," he said in an interview over dzBB radio. . . "We are a [predominantly] Roman Catholic country at maraming naniniwala na devoted catholics sa sinasabi ng ating mga obispo. The danger is that people might lose their faith or adherence to the rule of law at maniwala dito sa sinasabi ng ating mga bishops,” he said. — Xianne Arcangel/JDS, GMA News . . . OH MY DEAR CONGRESSMAN BARZAGA - HOW CAN THE CATHOLIC BISHOPS STRENGTHEN THE MORAL FIBER OF THE FLOCK WHEN THE FLOCK LIKE THE CATHOLIC BISHOPS THEMSELVES ARE DEVOID OF MORAL FIBER? SPECIALLY SINCE THE MEMBERS OF THE FLOCK ARE THE EDUCATED PRODUCTS OF CATHOLIC SCHOOLS, COLLEGES, AND UNIVERSITIES OWN AND OPERATED BY THE CATHOLIC CHURCH ENJOYING TAX FREE PRIVILEGES IN OUR COUNTRY? Ingersoll. . . Oh my dear Ingersoll, not in the Philippines. What remains from the Catholic church is not a vacuum but her schools, colleges, universities, and seminaries that she legally owns and freely operates; especially to produce millions of Filipinos who love not our country down here, but who love only what is miraculous, supernatural, incomprehensible, unreasonable, impossible, unknowable, and the absurd for the sake of a divinity up there! Malcolm X in the Philippines with Jesus

Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today. Malcolm X . . . Oh my dear Malcolm X, look at us Filipinos today as the product of a sick system of education yesterday. We are still in the habit of praying to Jesus to forgive our sins and our crimes; especially against each other in our own country for the greater of Jesus - the Savior of the Philippines.
