Free Will for What

What is the use of free will if we were already indoctrinated to exist frightened of life after death? So much so, not as the intelligent masters, but only as the stupid victims of free will that makes us prefer to live with faith in the comfort of religious lies or within the security of sacred deceptions? In the meantime, a widespread belief founded on nothing but free will concocted by the ignorant and the unlearned or even by the blessed is more likely to be fictitious, if not superstitious.
