Is Christianity A Failure

The failure of Christianity is symbolized in the statue of Christ crucified on the cross. Indeed, If his mission on earth to save man were a success, statues of the Risen Christ would be colorfully displayed everywhere in the Christian world. But then again, what was the purpose of dying on the cross when Christ possessed the miraculous power to resurrect Himself back to life? Moreover, after he resurrected, why did He surreptitiously appear only to His apostles, and not to the public at large among whom were those who had Him crucified – the unbelievers of the faith – the Jews!
