Jesus Contradiction

Crucified on the cross, Jesus cried out: “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Luke 23:34

Now Luke himself reports earlier on the same Jesus who said: “But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them for me.” Luke 19:27

Now which is which: Jesus slaying his enemies? Or enemies slaying Jesus? If Jesus possessed the miraculous power to raise the dead back to life, what was all that deadly drama about getting himself crucified dead on a cross? How did Jesus forgive himself as he obviously knew not what he was doing? Poch Suzara

Messages in the Bible Made me an Atheist

Consistency in the Bible is a consistency of holy baloney. Even the canonized Gospel writers were inconsistent against each other. The Gospel of Matthew tells us that Jesus was an aristocrat descended from David via Solomon. The Gospel of Luke tells us that Jesus was from much more humble stock. The Gospel of mark says that Jesus was born to a poor carpenter. At his birth, Jesus was visited by kings according to Matthew, but according to Luke, he was visited by shepherds. Jesus, according to the bible was born in Bethlehem, but he is usually referred to as Jesus of Nazareth. At his death, according to the Gospels of mark and Matthew, the last words of Jesus were: “My God, my God, why hast forsaken me?” But according to Luke, Jesus said: “Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit.” And in John, Jesus simply said, “It is finished.” The bible repeatedly exhorts readers to fear God. Fear God and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. “Blessed is everyone that feareth the Lord. As the Lord’s Prayer states, God’s will should “be done on earth as it is in heaven.” In the meantime, fear is at the foundation of our insane society, In fact, we Filipinos are the fearful and the frightened Sick Man of Asia. For my part, I thank the gods, for they inspired me to properly read the bible. Reading the bible has been the most potent force for me to grow up and to move out of my Catholicism into the rationality of agnosticism and finally to the sanity of atheism. After all, religion encourages stupidity and the promotion of a sick society. Poch Suzara

Life on Earth

Life on earth may be expensive, but it includes a free ride around the sun once a year. Any one who tells you that there is no such thing as a free lunch, that there is nothing free in this world can only be the view of a dumbstruck moron who has always been deprived of the greatest of freedom – the freedom of free thought. Poch Suzara

God’s Gift

According to the Gideon bible, “Yes, thanks be to God for his indescribable gift.” 2 Cor. 9:15.

According to the Catholic bible, “Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.” 2 Cor. 9:15.

I ask: which or what gift from God? Could we really be that religiously moronic to thank God for anything that is “indescribable,” or for something that is “unspeakable?”

Consider in terms of eternity, human life on this earth is but a wink of an eye, a flash in the pan, a split of a second long! Poch Suzara

Human Senses

We have not only five senses, but actually more than just the sense of seeing, smelling, hearing, touching, and tasting. We also have the sense of balance, temperature, acceleration, and indeed, the sense of victory, and the sense of losing in defeat. Leave it to science – she will eventually discover more senses in human nature than what silly religion has thoughtlessly preached during these past centuries - that God with five senses made man with five senses in his own image and likeness. Poch Suzara

Social Progress

Progress in society has always involved the elimination of lies and falsehoods. Ours have never been a society in progress because it has always been and still is stuck with lies and falsehoods.

Consider the lies that not a Fellow-Filipino born in the Philippines, but only a Jewish fellow born in a foreign land some 2,000 years ago will transform our land one day from poverty, depravity, and misery into a nation of peace and joys, human decency, and prosperity. Poch Suzara

The Philippines

The Philippines is a nation of diverse religious beliefs/non-beliefs. ... Msgr. Achilles Dakay, spokesperson of the Archdiocese of Cebu. Now I wonder if Msgr. Achilles Dakay ever wondered how come the Philippines has always been a land where there was and still is only one kind of believer of the Multiplication Table? Even before Christianity arrived to conquer the Filipinos 400 years ago; nay, even thousands of years before Christ was born – there never was different religious sects based upon different interpretation of the Multiplication Table. The believers of 2 plus 2 equals 4 never hated nor killed each other to death. The religious morons do so everywhere and all the time as a matter of diverse religious beliefs or non-beliefs. Moses Writing His own Death and Burial

Can any of you really believe in the truth of this biblical hogwash? Moses writing his own death and burial?

“The Lord buried him in a valley in Moab, opposite the town of Bethpeor, but to this day no one knows the exact place of his burial.” (Deuteronomy 34:6)

To think that this is the same Moses who wrote about Joshua commanding the sun to stop? The same Moses who parted the Red Sea? The same Moses earlier who told his generals: “Now, therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known a man by lying with him; but all women-children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.”

What a bunch of child-molesters, sex fucking blessed by the Lord maniacs! Poch Suzara

John Galt

Declared in his famous speech: - The world will change when you are ready to pronounce this oath: I swear by my Life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for the sake of mine. John Galt, the fictitious character that he was in one of Ian Rand’s novel, must have been selfish, greedy, stupid, and insane, indeed, an economic moron.

I bet he could not afford to take his oath to his cook in the kitchen, to his butler in the room, to his chauffer in the automobile, to his secretary in the office, to his waiter in the restaurant. Not to mention to his pilot flying the plane.

As a matter of economic fact, John Galt is the type of a man that usually ends up as the CEO of top corporations – the wealthy criminals in the corporate world who, for the sake of profit, would even destroy this world, our world.

In the meantime, because of men like John Galt in charge of American corporations – America as a corporation is wealthy, but as a nation she is quite unhealthy. Poch Suzara

Corruption

Corruption in the government agencies, corruption in the business sectors, corruption in the church, corruption in the AFP-PNP, corruption in the justice system, corruption in the prison system, etc. Nothing however can compare to the corruption in the system of education in the Philippines. They are places where corruption is born, fed, baptized, and blessed by God. In the meantime, only in the Philippines: for every crisis, there is always an opportunity; especially for the politicians in the government to be greedy, and selfish; and for the priesthood industry of the church to be stupid, and insane. Indeed, always ready to forgive the sins and the crimes of our stupid politicians. Poch Suzara

The Rich and the Famous

According to the rich and famous of our sick society the government must never interfere with church matters; but the church, if it sees fit, can always interfere with government matters. In other words, for love of country, to hell with democracy. However, for love of divinity, let’s embrace theocracy. Unfortunately, God is never omni-present; only always omni-absent. Poch Suzara

Good Tree

A good tree cannot produce bad fruit. A bad tree cannot produce good fruit. Whatever the case may be, if only God can make a tree, why make bad trees and then declare that it was “good?” Poch Suzara

Decent Education

Millions of minds are distorted and hearts twisted with false beliefs during the formative years in school. All for the sake of having faith in the Lord, if not to believe that there is a better world to come after death with God in heaven. I ask: what reasons have we to blame each other for the historical fact that we are the Sick Man of Asia living in an insane society? It seems so translucent that decent growth as a people and decent development as a nation can only be the results of a decent system of education. Poch Suzara

Untruths

Those who live with untruths live in spiritual poverty. Freedom is still the greatest reward we acquire when we seek the truth. “Seek ye first the good things of the mind,” Bacon admonishes us, “and the rest will either be supplied, or its loss will not be felt.” The truth will not make us rich and famous, but it will make us free and precious.

Paradoxically, we Filipinos enjoy freedom, especially the freedom to enjoy religious delusions in cahoots with political illusions. Poch Suzara

Ecology

The first law of ecology tells us that everything is connected to everything else. Over-population means over-exploitation of nature and the destruction of nature as it affects all other parts, including ourselves as we are part of nature. Not to mention including the destruction of our habitat - the blue planet earth - the only home we got. Poch Suzara

The Power of Thought

To believe that thoughtfulness is a form of bitterness against life is utter foolishness, if not downright childishness.

Never belittle the power of thought. There is nothing quite like it in all of nature.

Confucius said: “Man differs from an animal only by a little. Most men throw that little away.” Well, my dear reader, that little has only to do with the power of thought. Poch Suzara

Temptation

As a little boy at home and in school, I used to pray everyday to God to lead me not into temptation.

How I wished then that a God existed out there who had more to do with my life under reconstruction, and not a life escaping away from silly temptation. Indeed, a God to lead me not towards meaningless vacillation, futility, timidity, and self-destruction, but only towards human perfection carrying out the advancement for human civilization. Poch Suzara

Religious Morons

Ignatius Loyola, Founder of the Jesuits, declared: “I am mere dung.”
John Calvin, famous theologian, declared: “We are all made of mud.”
Moses in the bible wrote: “Dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.”

It is glaringly obvious, if not alarmingly translucent, that these religious morons utterly ignored what we were all taught in school to believe – that God created man in his own image and likeness. Well, if that were true, and we are all made of dung, mud, and dust, then God must be made of dung, mud, and dust too.

Now why should we love, worship, and adore dung, mud, or dust, indeed, why should we have faith in such a supernatural garbage? Poch Suzara

Silly Religion

Religion has had thousands of years to change and improve the quality of human life on this earth. It has miserably failed and will continue to fail. Simply because religion has no basis in reality.

It is time for human intelligence to take over. Happily, with the newly-elected President Barack Obama of the USA - human intelligence has taken over the American way of life in the United States of America. Hopefully, as other countries will catch on, human intelligence will eventually transform the whole world too.

In the meantime, silly religion, silly as it has been as it is still silly, might as well step aside and let human intelligence reign supreme globally. It is the only way we can save our planet earth. Poch Suzara

Saint Clement of Alexandria

Just like the many other moronic saints of the Lord, St. Clement of Alexandria, who was another moron, wrote: “Every woman should be filled with shame by the thought that she is a woman.” Well, Even other saintly priests say: “Woman is the confusion of man, an insatiable beast, a continuous anxiety, and incessant warfare, a daily ruin, a house of tempest, and a hindrance to devotion.”
What is even more moronic, however, is that a lot of the tuti-fruties and patuties famous in our sick society would like to end up as moronic lady saints too with the Lord in heaven. Poch Suzara

Dr. Harold J. Sala on There is Nothing Free in the World

This superstitious primitive, the famous bible preacher that he is, obviously displayed shameless ignorance while writing that there is nothing free in the world. He elaborates. He says that there are some laws as old as humankind, and one of them bears repeating: “There is nothing free in the world.” Philippine Star, Nov. 23, 20O6 Dr. Sala, you are such a religious hypocrite? How about the free ride we get everyday on earth as it rotates daily on its own axis traveling at 1037 miles per hour? What about the free ride we get as the earth orbits around the sun yearly traveling at the speed of 60,067 miles per hour? And what about the free ride we get as our earth together with the solar system going around the Milky Way Galaxy traveling at the speed of 486,600 miles per hour? It takes about 200 to 250 million years to orbit once around the Milky Way Galaxy. All for free. No charge for the cosmic ride. Poch Suzara

Friends of Jesus

“Our dearest friend is but a shadow compared to Jesus.” Phil Star Nov. 24, 2008.
Jesus had the power to perform miracles, and yet, crucified on the cross, he cried out loud: “My God, My God, why has thou forsaken me?” Well, never mind God His Father on a rescue mission. But where in hell were the dear friends of Jesus, the apostles, on his side? Poch Suzara

The Problems of the World

It begins with the family with children born unwanted and unloved - the accidental product of sexual pleasure. Indeed, it is foolish to imagine married or even un-married couples entertaining the propagation of the human race while enjoying the pleasures of sexual orgasm. How do parents love their sons or daughters not of their free choice, but only nature’s decree?
The problems of the world get even more complicated with stupid religion wedded to stupid politics. Both derail the family into believing that their responsibility as humans is not to cultivate common human decency, but only to have faith in divinity via human misery at worst, and social insanity at its best. Poch Suzara

It is Good

In the Philippine Star today, ( Nov. 26, 2008 ), the sick message reads: “Don’t despair because of evil; God will have the last word.”
Oh God, what we need from you is not your last word, but to make good your creation when you yourself saw in the beginning that “it was good.” Poch Suzara

The Trouble with the Bible

The trouble with the bible is that none of the inspired authors bothered to read together the bible when it was completed as a finished published product. Otherwise, if they did, they would have found each other shocked with the contradictions, inconsistencies, obscenities, atrocities, and absurdities that fill more than half in what is written in the bible. I have a sneaky suspicion even God did not read the bible for final approval. In fact, I think the devil also did not read it too for his disapproval. Poch Suzara

The Filipino

“No one stands as tall as a Christian on his knees.” Phil Star Nov. 28.2008.
Still the faithful Christians since Christianity arrived in the Philippines in the 17th century, the poor Filipino is still on his knees praying daily to God to “give us this day our daily bread,” and to “lead us not into temptation,” in this 21st century. Poch Suzara

Dear Catholic Bishops

I should wish to share with you words from a psychiatrist M. Scott Peck, author of THE ROAD LESS TRAVEL. It is a bit about psychiatry at its best on top of Christianity at its worst: “The learning of something new requires a giving up of the old self and a death of outworn knowledge. To develop a broader vision we must be willing to forsake, to kill, our narrower vision. In the short run it is more comfortable not to do this – to stay where we are, to keep using the same microcosmic map, to avoid suffering the death of cherished notions. The road to spiritual growth, however, lies in the opposite direction. We begin by distrusting what we already believe, by actively seeking the threatening and the unfamiliar, by deliberately challenging the validity of what we have previously been taught and hold dear. The path to holiness lies through questioning EVERYTHING.” Well, in our sick society today, if we question the evils of corruption, we find that corruption is not a political or a legal or a medical issue. Corruption is a moral issue. During these past centuries under Christian authority, hasn’t it been your sole responsibility to shepherd the flock, to be in charge of the teachings of moral values? Especially to establish self-respect and human dignity as the foundation of a healthy and a sane society? Why is it that after 400 years of Christianity solidly established in this country, tens of millions of Filipinos in this 21st century continue to experience interior emptiness, still thirsting for some form of spirituality? No doubt, we still have deep faith in the holy Trinity known as the “Father,” “Son,” and “Holy Spirit,” but in our race to achieve a higher standard of living as a people, and to accomplish a higher standard of thinking as a nation – where is the Holy Trinity on our side as our “Creator,” “Redeemer,” and the “Sustainer?” For my part, as a humanist, I embrace morality as one of the greatest of human values. Not, however, superstitious morality. I do not do good because there is a greater power out there who will reward me for my goodness after death. On the contrary, I do good precisely because of what’s higher and greater than me, namely, - my family, my country, and indeed, this planet earth as the home of humanity. I duly recognize that there is little difference between the goals of the Christians and the humanists. We both value helping others. But as a humanist I am drawn to this goal out of unselfish love and empathy – which arises from education in rationality. As a humanist my goal in life is to try and spread the virtues of felicity via intellectual growth and maturity. Indeed, to keep ignited the torch of enlightenment. To see things now as they will seem forever, - “in the light of eternity.” The Christian, however, is driven to it out of fear for his own eternal welfare. For the Christian, helping others is not an end in itself, but only a means of saving himself from damnation. As a humanist I realize that I could be mistaken about what is best for my fellow-Filipinos; so I am willing to listen to criticism. I am willing to have my ideas torn apart and will listen to the power of reason. The Christian, however, cannot admit that his ideas of right and wrong might be mistaken, because to doubt would imperil his immortal soul. He must have faith in Christian doctrines – out of fear of eternal torture if he does not. He must be anti-intellectual in order to maintain his faith – out of fear of torture if he does not. And he must never doubt that his action is correct – again out of fear of torture if he does not. What is happening to us, I ask? Why is it that we Filipinos do not, and cannot as yet enjoy social unity, moral sanity, and political maturity in our own country? We only continue to be a people of childish followers; hardly a nation of intelligent thinkers as leaders. Why is it that in this day and age, under your moral guidance and inspiration, we Filipinos only continue to believe that human life is but a defect, and that we must only live our lives seeking not reconstruction, but only obliteration! My dear bishops, as citizens of our country, isn’t it time for you to take a deeper look at our spiritually poor and morally bankrupt nation - the Philippines - the only Christian country in Asia since 400 years ago? No doubt, Christianity has been a great success. But what has been a greater success, however, is the Filipino way of life. We are still faithful to a higher power out there, but paying for it at a expensive price down here: the horrors of spiritual corruption, moral degradation, economic stagnation, political delusion, educational deception, not to mention the lack of national health, hygiene, and sanitation in our country everywhere! In the final analysis, I say it again: it is time for us Filipinos to stop fooling around with our silly “free will” for the sake of heavenly salvation. We should, instead, begin to believe and have faith in our intelligent “good will,” especially for one another for the sake of promoting in our country - civilization? Letter to the Editor

Dear Sir:

Mr. Alexander L. Lacson’s piece OUR ENEMY ( PDI, Nov. 30, 2008 ) is another reflection of why we are the Sick Man of Asia.
He says that during the Spanish time, the face of our enemy was very clear. It was the Spanish conquerors and the rulers of our country. They used force and violence against our people, raped our women, stole our gold and spices, exploited our natural resources.

But today, Mr. Lacson says, our enemy is the “trapo” in government – the mayor, the governor, the congressman, the Cabinet secretary or department undersecretary, the president, the senators, etc.

I ask: aren’t those leaders in our government products of La Salle, Ateneo, University of Santo Thomas, Letran, San Beda, Mirian college, Assumption college, Asian Institute of management, etc. etc. including the University of the Philippines that produces men like a Marcos - a Jesus-loving, God-fearing Filipino leader?

Indeed, in this poor and backward country, we are all born ignorant, not stupid and corrupt. We are made stupid and corrupt by education.

Millions of minds are distorted and hearts twisted with false beliefs during the formative years in school. All for the sake of having faith in the next world to come, and to have faith also in the next country to go to in order to earn a decent living. What keeps us Filipinos stupid and corrupt? Isn’t it glaringly obvious that decent growth as a people and decent development as a nation can only be the result of a decent system of education?

A decent life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge. It has nothing to do with prayers to God to give us this day our daily bread, and to lead us not into temptation? Isn’t it tragic enough that we Filipinos are winners in the rat-race for eternal salvation, but are poor losers in the race for human civilization under a better system of education?

To teach Filipino children in school to reach for fantasy solutions to real life problems is the worst possible training Filipino children can have for their outreach toward emotional growth and intellectual maturity – indeed, for love of fellow-citizens and for love of country.

The success of Christianity in the Philippines is our one and only real enemy. Its basic teachings in the schools, colleges, and universities have always shaped the Filipino mind and molded the Filipino heart to live faithfully as the poor victims, but never as the healthy masters of religion in our own country.

If there is purpose to life that purpose must be that we should leave this world a little better than we are born into it, especially in the humanitarian sense, or there is little reason for our having lived.

Yours sincerely,
Poch Suzara

Jesus

Jesus is usually referred to as Jesus of Nazareth though he was born supposedly in Bethlehem. What’s remarkable about this discrepancy, however, is not the Jesus of this or that town, but that neither Nazareth nor Bethlehem got to be a Christian place as part of a Christian country. Israel is still a Jewish State.

Here, however, is something even more remarkable. In the State of Israel today there exist no school, college, or a university that teach Jesus is the Son of God who was crucified on a cross to redeem the souls of Filipinos in the Philippines. Poch Suzara

Jesus Crucified or Hang on a Tree

Was Jesus crucified on a cross or hang on a tree? Listen to the reports of the Inspired by God authors of the holy bible: This is Jesus, the King of the Jews. Matt.27:37 The King of the Jews. Mark 15:26 This is Jesus, the King of the Jews. Luke 23:38 Jesus of Nazareth the King of the Jews. John 19:19 One would think that there was only one cross, not four, and therefore only one inscription written on the cross. However, in the book of Acts 5:30, Jesus was not crucified on a cross, he was hanged on a tree. In Acts 10:39, it also reads: “And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, or in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree.” Again, in Acts 13:29, it reads: “ And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree. And laid him in a sepulcher.” And again, in 1 Peter 2:24, “Who on his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. In the meantime, St. Augustine was obviously not a critical bible reader. He wrote: “Nothing is to be accepted except the authority of scripture, since greater is that authority than all the powers of thehuman mind.” Poch Suzara

Created Equal

We are all created equal? Equal in what? I’d rather acknowledge that we are all equal by having been born of woman and that we owe our allegiance to motherhood, fatherhood, and to nationhood. Forget the priesthood. They are all a gang of religiously unequal bullies in business for themselves. Poch Suzara

Piety

“Piety,” Rizal wrote, “does not consists in prolonged kneeling, long prayers, large rosaries, soiled scapulars, but in good conduct, clean conscience, and upright thinking.”

No wonder after they had Rizal arrested, jailed, and publicly executed, his enemies - the Catholic Spanish Friars had to spread scandalous lies to the effect that Rizal retracted. That just hours before he was executed, he died as a penitent Catholic with a rosary in his hand and a scapular around his neck. Well, a blow-up photo during his execution at the Luneta displayed in the Manila City Hall today disproves such a silly claim.

Well, in this 21st century Philippines, despite the killing of our Jose Rizal, piety has not changed a bit. It is still about prolong kneeling, long silly prayers, large silly rosaries, soiled scapulars, and hypocritical conduct, corrupt conscience, and a religiously twisted mind devoid of thought.

In the meantime, ONLY IN THE PHILIPPINES, our national hero Jose Rizal was not a Filipino. He could not be a Filipino. Rizal was far too intelligent to be a Filipino. Indeed, Filipinos even in this already 21st century, believe that Rizal retracted. What an insult to Filipino intelligence. Poch Suzara

Life and Death

It is incredible how some people, specially priests, claim to have knowledge about the nature of death. As if they already have knowledge about the nature of life.

Except perhaps that life is a sexually transmitted disease with the mortality rate of 100 per cent, what else do we really know of the nature of life? Where does sexual desires come from that produces life in the first place? Why are we here? Is there a meaning to life? Who knows? All we know is that life stops. But whether life has meaning, even the inspired bible authors of God did not know why life stops. Poch Suzara

The Spirit of Liberty

I write always in the spirit of liberty, especially in the possibility that I could be wrong. My thoughts, however, are always subject to change or emendation. My doubts are always tentative, never dogmatic. Show me evidences where I am wrong and I will make the necessary adjustments or discard my doubts down the tube.

As an atheist, I have neither faith nor a system of beliefs. Knowing is always more reliable than just believing. My faith lies in human intelligence. I don’t give a hoot for divine benevolence. Poch Suzara

Religious Fears

Most people hardly know that the reason they live a life filled with religious fears, it is because they themselves have not read the bible. Instead, like a bunch of mentally-retarded believers, they would rather inspire others to read and interpret the bible for them. The bible is a good book; unfortunately, good for nothing.

Look at what bible messages have done for mankind during these past 2,000 years in the Western world in general, and during the past 400 years in the Philippines in particular? Far from the Age of Critical Analysis, we Filipinos are still living in the Age of Mental Paralysis. Poch Suzara

In Southern California

I lived and worked in Los Angeles, Southern California, for 12 years. 1967 - 1979 There were then some 3 Filipino associations existing. Each trying to bring down the other owing to petty squabbles., if not childish jealousies. When I left after 12 years, there was some 140 different Filipino associations. Today 2008 there are more than 200 different Filipino associations each busy finding faults about the Filipino way of life in the USA. Thus, Filipinos disunited as Filipino-Americans. Nobody wants to be the Indian in such association, especially to pursue its goals and aims. Everybody, however, wants to be the chief. And so, Filipino associations are formed for the simple reason that its Filipino president wants to be famous carrying around with him business cards that read: president. In the meantime, of all the Asian-Americans in the United States, the Filipino-Americans are the most disheveled, disorganized, and full of mutual hatred and envy leading each other to a bridge that goes nowhere. Poch Suzara

Joys of Life

The joys of life in this world are subject to birth, growth, death, and decay. How utterly silly of God not to protect such joys so that we may together exist forever alongside the existence of our deathless, if not utterly worthless – silly immortal souls. Poch Suzara

Barking idiot

If an idiot barks at you, you only have to bark louder and the idiot backs off. Living in a sick society, sometimes, angry reptilian rudeness is more effective than gentle mammalian politeness. Hello you psuedo-Pinoy psuedo-atheists – you gang of sick idiots! You people are only good at barking. Poch Suzara

God is like Dust Existing Everywhere

"Ashes to ashes, dust to dust", a phrase in Christian burial service, used sometimes to denote the total finality of the corporeal body, thereby contrasting the temporary nature of worldly existence to the eternity of the spirit. It is based on scriptural texts such as "Dust thou art, and unto dust thou shalt return" (Genesis 3:19), and "I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee" (Ezekiel 28:18) Well, If dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return, and if God created thou in his own image and likeness, then God must be made of dust too. No wonder dust is like God. It is existing here, there, and everywhere. Poch Suzara Twitter@ Facebook# Google#

God Lied

In the Old Testament, after God created the world and everything in it, he said: “it was good.” In the New Testament, however, God said: “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not with him.” John 2:15. In the Old Testament, God lied. Poch Suzara

St. Augustine and Free Will

“When, therefore, man lives according to man, not according to God, he is like the devil,” wrote St. Augustine. An individual, according to St. Augustine, has little power to influence his or her predetermined fate and is entirely dependent upon God for salvation. So, I ask St. Augustine: what is the use of the free will as a gift from God? Poch Suzara

The Bible

The bible repeatedly exhorts readers to fear God: “Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” “Blessed is everyone that feareth the Lord.” “Fear Him, which after he hath power to cast into hell; yea. I say unto you, Fear Him.” Indeed, the bible even encourages the frightened readers to fear the bible itself. Thus, the majority of the religious believers are not really that familiar with the contradictions, absurdities, inconsistencies, and obscenities that run through the bible from cover to cover. In fact, only the few are conversant with the fact that there are about 450 different and conflicting versions of the bible sold in the market today. Poch Suzara

A Great Dream

I had this great dream the other night. I ardently hope it will become a reality one day. Thousands of my Jesus freak classmates and schoolmates in La Salle received this text message saying: “Poch Suzara died yesterday and was cremated today. With his last breath, he cried out: Screw you religious morons who with your silly Son of God Jesus made a silly religious mockery out of my beautiful country.” Poch Suzara

Allan Greenspan

Alan Greenspan was, for a great many years, a true believer in the god of market fundamentalism. The great man that he is, he recently admitted publicly, that he was wrong. The former Federal Reserve chairman, said that the current financial crisis had uncovered a flaw in how the free market capitalism works that shocked him.

He told the House Oversight Committee that his belief that banks would be more prudent in their lending practices because of the need to protect their stockholders had proved to be wrong.

This is like admitting that the Ayn Rand philosophy for the selfish, greedy, stupid, and insane works but works only for those who are precisely greedy, selfish, stupid, and insane.

He admitted that he had made a “mistake” in believing that banks operating in their self-interest would be enough to protect their shareholders and the equity in their institutions.

He said that he had found “a flaw in the model that I perceived is the critical functioning structure that defines how the world works.”

He headed the nation’s central bank for 18.5 years, said that he and others who believed lending institutions would do a good job of protecting their shareholders are in a “state of shocked disbelief.”

Bertrand Russell wrote: “No, the greatest men have not been “serene.” They have had, it is true, an ultimate courage, a power of creating beauty where nature has put only horror, which may, to a petty mind, appear like serenity. But their courage has had to surpass that of common men, because they have seen deeper into the indifference of nature and the cruelty of man. To cover up these things with comfortable lies is the business of cowards; the business of great men is to see them with inflexible clarity, and yet to think and feel nobly. And in the degree in which we can all be great, this is the business of each one of us.”

In this 21st century, Allan Greenspan is one such great man in the world today. He will yet change the filthy ways of filthy Americans who became filthy rich in the filthy way. Poch Suzara

Capitalism Depends on Greed

Free market capitalism is based on greed. That's the engine that makes it work. The entire basis of capitalism is that everyone acts in his or on her own self-interest, to try to get as much as he or she possibly can. It is what's supposed to keep the players constructive competing against each other. Wrong and it has, in fact, proved to be destructive than most shallow-minded economists acknowledged.

Free market capitalism has many failings. The most obvious is the tendency of wealth to concentrate more and more into fewer and fewer greedy hands over time. Another is that gullibility and lack of education that allow the millions of people to be victimized by others. Also, there's the unspoken collusion that allows, for example, corporations to jack up prices, ensuring higher profits for itself. Greed is not the failure of capitalism. It is the success of it.

Now if we truly believe that all men are all created equal, and that there must be justice for all, there ought to be a law that says no individual should be worth more than ten million dollars in cash and assets; and no corporation can be worth more than one billion dollars in cash and in assets. Except for the Research institutes that are in the business to find cures for human and animal diseases. They can be worth one hundred billion dollars. Thus, the hundreds of trillions of dollars combined owned by the few individuals, corporations, and churches ought to be dismantled and distributed to billions of people according to the new law that I am proposing.

The historical business that we can continue to hate and kill each other in order to feed the few greedy and to hell with the millions of the needy has been rendered obsolete if we were to live in peace and harmony on this earth in the centuries to come.

It is time to explore not only the deeper nature of the world, but also, especially, to discover higher the world of nature. Poch Suzara

Illusions and Delusions

Studying theology during my younger years was not so much as to know God, but to find out more about how the ignorant theologians managed to become experts in the business of promising to deliver illusions and delusions in order to support and maintain our sick society. Just exactly like the ignorant politicians in the government. They are also experts in the business of promising to deliver illusions and delusions for everybody. Indeed, in this world, if we were ruled by lies and deceptions, we only have to thank the ignorant theologians always in cahoots with the ignorant politicians in the business of telling lies and deceptions for their own benefit, if not profit. Catholicism

Catholicism is not a way of life; but a way of death. It has been and still is big business for the priesthood industry. It’s wealth, power, and glory, not to mention the Vatican bank worth in the trillion of dollars are proof enough that Catholicism has always been big business in God’s name on earth as it is in heaven. So What

So what if Darkness is the absence of light. My point as an atheist is that God himself was a not a bright being as he did not illuminate anything around him. He obviously existed in total darkness. If God was a brilliant light unto himself, he need not have created the sun to light up the darkness around Him. Poch Suzara

Truth

The truth hurts? No, it does not. It never did. In fact, the truth must first be discovered and then revealed before it can hurt any one. What, in fact, has been hurting during these past many great centuries has been the Revealed Truth. It has never been revealed. Poch Suzara

Bertrand Russell

In 1912, at the beginning of his book PROBLEMS OF PHILOSOPHY, Russell asked: “Is there any knowledge in the world which is so certain that no reasonable man could doubt it?” In 1948 on the last page of his HUMAN KNOWLEDGE book, he came to the conclusion that “all human knowledge is uncertain, inexact, and partial.” Indeed, to criticize Russell’s philosophical works is an exercise in futility. For, it is doubtful whether Russell has made any great mistake, and where he has been wrong, he has spoilt the fun of future generation of philosophers by pointing out the errors himself. For more, please read BERTRAND RUSSELL THE PASSIONATE SCEPTIC, a biography by Allan Wood published in 1957. Poch Suzara

The Bible

The bible may be holy, but it is filled with inconsistent baloney. There is neither harmony nor uniformity as the authors contradict each other. The Gospel of Matthew tells us that Jesus was an aristocrat descended from David via Solomon. The Gospel of Luke, however, tells us that Jesus was from much more humble stock. The Gospel of Mark says that Jesus was born to a poor carpenter.

At his birth, Jesus was visited by kings according to Matthew, but according to Luke, he was visited by shepherds.

At his death, Jesus, according to the Gospel of Mark and Matthew tell us that his last words were “My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?” But according to Luke, Jesus said, “Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit,” and in John Jesus simply said, “It is finished.”

In his great book, the Age of Reason, by Tom Paine, one of the greatest among the Founding Fathers of the United States of America, wrote: “Whenever we read the obscene stories, the voluptuous debaucheries, the cruel and torturous executions, the unrelenting vindictiveness, with which more than half the bible is filled, it would be more consistent that we call it the word of a demon, than the word of God. It is a history of wickedness, that has served to corrupt and brutalize mankind; and, for my part, I sincerely detest it, as I detest everything that is cruel.”

As a bible reader myself during these past twenty years, I am quite conversant with bible messages. They have more to do not with the way of life, but the way towards death. Sadly and unfortunately, even the bible admits that “The dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.” Eccl. 9:5

Again, I say to one and all: please read your bible. It is where we can all duly discover the foundation of why we are, precisely, the Sick Man of Asia. Poch Suzara

The Holocaust

A few days ago I forwarded by email to hundreds of friends and relatives pictures showing the horrors of what the Nazis under Hitler (the Holocaust) did to the Jews in Germany during World War 2. The horrors of it all – man’s inhumanity to man. What many of you do not know, however, is that Hitler was raised and educated as a Catholic in Austria. He hated the Jews. In His book MEIN KAMPF, Hitler wrote on page 65: “Hence today I believe I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jews, I am fighting for the work of the Lord.” During that war, the buckle belt worn around the waist by Hitler’s army read: “ Gott Mit Uns.” God with us. It is incredible how Pope Pius the 12th then with God's power never lifted a finger to stop Hitler from gassing the Jews to death. Estimated at 6,000,000 of them. The Pope could have excommunicated Hitler. On the contrary, the Catholic hierarchy loved what was being done to the Christ’s killers – the Jews. Today Pope Benedict the 16th Ratzinger wants Nazi sympathizing Pope Pius the 12th to be named as a good saint. Unfortunately, a good for nothing saint as all saints are – good for nothing. Is a Fetus a Person

Is a fetus a person? A person, however, is one who has free will. A fetus has no free will. When we were once ourselves a fetus in mom’s womb, did we have the free will to choose whether we wanted to be born as a boy person or a girl person in this world? But then again if a fetus were a person, how come when a miscarriage happens, nobody in the priesthood industry gives the fetus the sacrament of Extreme Unction; or attends to its funeral service? Are the souls of the fetus remembered during All Saints's Day? Now I am told that a fetus nevertheless has the potential to be a thinking person with a free will? What about the would-be mother and would-be father of a fetus? Are they thinking persons while they are mating? But for a man to penetrate a woman’s sexual organ, all the blood in his brain must travel down to his sexual organ in order to get an erection. Solidified blood as it were. The same chemistry happens with the woman. Sexual arousal makes all the blood in her brain travel down to her reproductive system and she also, exactly like her man, becomes utterly brainless while in the act of propagating the human species. Never mind the ridiculous physical contortions that a man and his woman must assume for the sake of starting a family. It is illegal to kill a group of cells called a fetus inside the womb. It is called “abortion.” It is, however, legal to let them be born, let them grow up a bit, and then kill them with malnutrition. In the meantime, politicians, doctors, priests, and indeed husbands all have the right and the free will to have sex with a woman; but she, however, has neither the right nor the free will to practice family planning and birth control? What despicable nonsense is this? As a matter of biological fact, men are the ones fertile every minute of the month. The women are fertile only two or 3 days of the month. It should therefore be the men, not the women, who should be more involved with the responsibility of family planning and birth control in our already sick and overpopulated society. Overpopulation means that the number of people in a given society surpasses the economic basis for providing them with adequate food, housing, meaningful education, and harmless entertainment. We already have more than 10 million persons called children living under subhuman conditions in the streets of our major cities? In the meantime, three ( 3 ) babies are born every minute in the Philippines. That transforms into 1,500,000 babies born every year. Many of them abandoned by their father and neglected by their mother. The Roman scholar Pliny, the Elder, said: “What we do to our children, they will do to society.” Well, in this 21st century, take a good look at our sick and corrupt society! If God himself practiced family planning and birth control measures, why is there so much religious pressure for Filipinos to emulate God who only had one son with Mary? Instead of being childish as a people frightened of morality, why don’t we grow up as a nation and begin to discover morality? This business of paraphrasing the bible: “Forgive me, Father, for I know not what I am doing” – can only be the confession of a man born ignorant, not stupid; but made stupid by indoctrination! If centuries past were to be identified by their dominant characteristics, like the Age of Reason or the Age of Enlightenment, how come in this 21st century Philippines, ours is still the Age of Fear and Guilt? A Thought from a Thinking American

We hate to win wars. The more wars ongoing here, spreading there, and developing anywhere – the better for our industrial economy. In fact, the spread of terrorism, ( it used to be called communism ) the better for American capitalism. The exception of course is Chinese communism. China has introduced to the world a better economic system that works without violence and war – the merger of capitalism with communism. Unlike American capitalism the way we make wealth and the way we make war are profitably related and inextricably connected. In the meantime, we continue to ask our soldiers ( our very own sons and daughters ) to be shot at and for many to be killed. To have the courage to die in battle, but not to have the courage to question the insane policies of our government of the industrialists, by the militarists, and for the elitists. The historical scandal in America is not what is immoral or illegal; but what is moral and legal. Super financial fortunes in America have been built not on “free enterprise” but on the infectious greed of crony capitalism. In this connection, in America, by and large, there is hardly such a thing as “national interests.” There is only the - “corporate interests.” In the meantime, how can there be Americans in the great cities of America who are hungry, homeless, and living under stress not knowing where the next meal will come from to feed their children and still pay their rent? It is time for a radical change. It is time to retool our industrial capacity from war economy to peace economy. It is time to focus on the whole of humanity, especially at human poverty. War as a way to enrich the few and to keep ourselves strong with our “Industrial-Military-University-Complex” superpower of the world has become obsolete. Through the increasing power of knowledge, it is time to manufacture more engines for construction rather than engines of destruction. Defense spending creates jobs only for the military but not for society. It does not even buy national security. Military spending causes unemployment, inflation, and resource depletion, not to mention the accumulation of sophisticated military weapons that grow to such a complexity that approach national insanity. Indeed, if the lethal capacity of the nuclear arsenals of America and its allies were broken down into tons of TNT, each man, woman, and child alive in the world today would be represented by something like 4 tons of explosive power. Some of our individual H-Bombs represent so much destructive power that they each total more tons of dynamite power than all the bombs dropped by all sides during World War Two. There are, however, only two things that can be done with military weapons – use it for destruction; or, store them until they become obsolete and then eventually scrapped while American school buildings and the images of America as the land of the free and home of the brave are rotting away. The party is over. It is time to clean up the mess. The days of military lies and deceptions are over. It is time to achieve success not as Republicans or Democrats or Westerners or Southerners or Easterners or Asians, Latinos, or African Americans, but simply as - united Americans. It is time for America to be a genuine super power. A super power that has no demons to kill, or villains to destroy. Indeed, it is time for America to have more real friends around the world by having no more enemies. If we must fight enemies, let us fight them not on the battlefield, but with the power of ideas. Love is always better than hate because in love there is peace and unity. In hate, there is only disharmony. Our national interests should be wholly in harmony with those of humanity. The Media is no longer our media. It is no longer the media that promotes the power of knowledge. The US government in cahoots with the Industrial-Military-University Complex now owns and controls the media. The media like the advertising industry does not persuade. They manipulate. Look how the media succeeds in reducing American citizens to idiots. Watching TV five hours a day can only be the way of life of idiots. From corporate advertisers to political punditry, from boards of education to the entertainment programmers, their goal is to keep us American citizens thoughtless, if not frightened. Forget freedom of the press. It belongs to him who owns one. Indeed, we have yet to pierce through the untruths being cast by the mainstream media that benefits not the nation, but only the corrupt corporations. What is the use of the freedom of expression to people who have been frightened of the future? So that they may only prefer the comforts of political lies or prefer the promises of religious deceits from the powers-that-be? Our problems, in fact, the world’s problems, are no longer local. It is global. Everything in this world is interrelated with everything else in a delicate balance and complex web of interrelationship. We are all -- each and every one of us, actors and spectators in the drama of life on this small blue planet whose continued existence is in doubt. We are often told that America has the best system of education in the world. Well, it is time to prove it. Let us install educated American leaders to run our government. A government that puts greater value on higher education above everything else. Education that explores deeper the world of nature and discovers higher the nature of our world. It is incredible how the “educated” US Congressmen would entertain the impeachment of a US president on matters of sexual behavior, but would not impeach him for endangering the lives of American children by welfare reform, or by neglecting its senior citizens, or for violating international law in bombing foreign countries, or for allowing hundreds of thousands of children to die as a result of economic sanctions. In the meantime, poverty, disease, illiteracy, and overpopulation in the world cannot be redressed until America and her allies re-direct its resources toward constructive humanitarian aims. It is time to beat swords into plowshares. In his great book THE THIRD WAVE published in 1980, author Alvin Toffler concluded: “The responsibility for change, therefore, lies with us. We must begin with ourselves, teaching ourselves not to close our minds prematurely to the novel, the surprising, the seemingly radical. This means fighting off the idea-assassins who rush forward to kill any new suggestion on grounds of its impracticality, while defending whatever now exists as practical, no matter how absurd, oppressive, or unworkable it may be. It means fighting for freedom of expression – the right of people to voice their ideas, even if heretical. Above all, it means starting this process of reconstruction now, before further disintegration of existing political systems sends the forces of tyranny jackbooting through the streets, and makes impossible a peaceful transition in the twenty-first century Democracy. If we begin now, we and our children can take part in the exciting reconstitution not merely of our obsolete political structures, but of civilization itself. Like the generation of the revolutionary dead, we have a destiny to create.”

Theologians

No doubt, the theologians have been inventive; unfortunately, inventive in fantasy, never in reality. The theologians have yet to succeed to explain the unknown by making it more known. The main study that entails the subject of theology is God. Till now, however, even the theologians themselves have not the foggiest notion of who or what God is! But they have gumption enough to declare that the nature of God’s existence is really a mystery. Poch Suzara

Religious Criminals

Millions of minds and hearts are being distorted, and twisted with false beliefs in our schools, colleges, and universities. All for the sake of having faith in the Lord and that there is a better world to come after death.

I ask: what reasons have we to be polite to these religiously idiotic criminals responsible for such evil horrors?

And what reasons have we to blame each other for the horrors that is keeping our country poor and backward? The growth and development of any country are the results of decent minds and decent hearts. Poch Suzara

Is God Good or Bad

Is there any of you faithful believers out there who has ever met a Filipino who got to be filthy rich for believing that God is bad?

Millions of Filipinos, however, are filthy poor for believing that God is good. Poch Suzara

Free Will

Billions of little monsters are living inside your body at this very moment. Sooner or later, they will eventually kill you whether you like it or not, whether you have free will or not.

So God gifted you with a free will. So what? God gifted germs, bacteria, and viruses with no free will, and yet these little monsters are free to get you buried in a Catholic cemetery one day soon. Poch Suzara

The Bible

The bible says that Jesus suffered and died on the cross for our sins and to bring us closer to God in heaven. 1 Peter 3:18

Well, if God were already Omni-present and therefore here, there, and already everywhere, what is God doing in heaven out there? How come God is never down here? Poch Suzara

Man

Man invented divinity. That is why divinity is a shallow mystery. The real nature of man is a wider perplexity, if not a deeper complexity, especially at promoting, perpetually, human stupidity. Poch Suzara

Afraid of Death

Those who are afraid to die are afraid to live. Those who are afraid to live need God.
To believe, however, that after death we can still be afraid or, as the case may be, - be unafraid, is to pretend that we can still be able to see without eyes, to hear without ears, to taste without a palate, to smell without nose, to feel without hands or skin, and indeed, that we shall still be able to think with our brain already rotting away in a Catholic cemetery.

“The good life,” Bertrand Russell wrote, “is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge.” To me, in my simplicity, as I am approaching my own death, I can only say to the laws of nature: “Go ahead, kill me, and when you do, rest assured, I will die standing up with my self-respect and dignity, and not kneeling ashamed of my sense of humanity.” Poch Suzara

Fear of the Lord

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. Prov. 1:7. On the contrary, fear is beginning of timidity. As to why a Lord would have this desperate need to be feared by any one only makes him utterly unworthy as a Lord to begin with. For my part, I once knew a Lord. I never feared him. Unlike my silly teachers in school, he never threatened me. In fact, I never even met this Lord personally. But I have learned to love him and still do love him as he saved not my silly soul, but saved, instead, my precious mind. I read most of his delicious writings and I still have his books as my bedside companion. His name: Lord Bertrand Russell. Oh yes, much better and more exciting than sexual protoplasm is intellectual orgasm. There is nothing quite like in all of nature. Poch Suzara Twitter@ Google# Atheist# Facebook#

The Devil

I take my hat off to the devil. He didn’t have to impregnate a virgin to produce a son on this earth to be crucified on a wooden stick in order for him to win millions of damned wet souls to quench the fires of hell. Indeed, the same hell that God originally created for the devil and his Fallen Angels all gifted too with free will, not to mention the most ticklish part of this divine creation - God gifted as well all the Talking Serpent to freely bring down one of our own kind - Adam and Eve - our first parents

I said it before, I say it again: Fuck divinity. Fuck deviltry. Fuck the Talking Serpent. Fuck FREE WILL. Poch Suzara

Earning a Living

Go to any school, college, or university in the Philippines – none will explore with you what it is precisely that in life you creatively enjoy doing. Indeed, the tragedy in most men’s life is not earning a living at precisely what they creatively already enjoy doing. Poch Suzara

Motherhood

Most women are ignorant enough not to realize that motherhood takes years of grade school, high school, and college to prepare. Every woman, regardless of her age, social class, academic achievement needs to know that to bring forth a child into this world is a serious responsibility, especially for fatherhood under the guidance of a decent nationhood. Poch Suzara

The Religious Morons

The religious morons would readily notice that more and more women are getting pregnant in our poor and sick society. They hardly care to notice also that 3 babies are born every minute of the day or 1.5 million babies are born every year in our country. These babies are the result of corruption by would-be mothers and would-be fathers who hardly have any idea of what it means to raise and educate children in our sick and corrupt world. Of course, we have been frightened to call it “faith in God;” though in reality, it is really having faith in “blind faith.” Poch Suzara

Loved Children

Loved children born into this world have better chances of promoting peace on earth and goodwill to all men. Otherwise, unloved children will be among the best recruits for the army and navy and the air force of most countries, especially that of the military organization of the United States of America. Poch Suzara

Christian Beliefs

According to a Christian belief I was once dead in my mother’s womb. God, however, gave me life so that I could be born alive in this world. Later, however, God will put me back to death so that I can, again, have life in heaven with God; or, as the case may be, be in hell with the devil. Free will is a myth. Poch Suzara

Jesus and Death

Just before he resurrected Lazarus, Jesus likened death to sleep.—John 11:11-14. Which brings up another question, if Jesus best friend Lazarus was going to enjoy eternal happiness with God in a perfect place called heaven, for Christ’ sake, why bring him back to a rotten life of sin in this rotten world?

In the meantime, the same bible clearly admits: “For the living know that they shall die; but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward for the memory of them is forgotten.” (Ecclesiastes 9:5) Poch Suzara

The Poor

The priesthood industry continue to insist that “God loves the poor.” That even the Son of God Jesus chose to be born poor in a poor family of a poor village because His father loves poverty. Of course Jesus was a poor man. He never earned a living. He never worked in his life. Moreover, Jesus failed to provide knowledge so much need by man to enable him to shape his course through work to achieve a healthy and a wealthy life. Jesus never explained constructive relations between employer and employee, nor how to educate children, nor how to preserve health, nor how to earn a living, nor how to prevent war, poverty, and suffering. Indeed, Jesus neglected to instruct his listeners on how to live creatively and happily. His knowledge of the world was less than that of a high school expelled student out of De La Salle Univrsity in the Philippines. Poch Suzara

Jesus

Jesus, on the cross, cried out: “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” Luke 23:34

To think that this is the same Father of Jesus who never legally married his mother. Jesus was not a legitimate son. His own Mother of God did not know what she was doing. Poch Suzara

Causes

All kinds of causes are submitted to explain why Filipinos are still wallowing in poverty as a people; and the Philippines still economically way behind as a nation. No one seems to have the guts nor the gumption to openly and publicly declare the truth except yours truly. I said it before, I say it again: Poverty in the Philippines is simply due to, if not because of, one great evil – “Christianity.” Poverty comes from poor minds and poor hearts. Christianity has always dominated the Filipino mind and the Filipino heart. Indeed, according to Christian values and beliefs, the Filipinos are better off poor and suffering and malnourished in this life. In this way, we Filipinos could be rich and happy and well-nourished in the life after death with God in heaven. Poch Suzara

Rizal wrote:

“Where are the youth who will consecrate their golden hours, their dreams, and their enthusiasm to the welfare of their native land? Where are the youth who will generously pour out blood to wash away so much shame, so much crime, so much abomination? Pure and spotless must the victim be! Where are you youth, who will embody in yourselves the vigor of life that has left our veins, the purity of ideas that has been contaminated in our brains, the fire of enthusiasm that has been quenched in our hearts? We await you, O Youth! Come, for we await you!” Ever since the death of Rizal by public execution in 1896, the history of the Filipino people has been the daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly struggle to deny the power of the human mind with knowledge, and to reject the beauty of the human heart with wisdom. Indeed, to be not sane, or be culturally constructive; but only to be insane, and traditionally destructive. Thanks to teachers in our schools, and to professors in our colleges and universities – millions of Filipinos have yet to learn to substantiate the words of Jose Rizal: “I would like the Filipinos to be brilliant, enlightened, intelligent, and progressive.” Sadly, even the Knights of Rizal have been busy promoting social and political insanity in this God-forsaken country. Especially for the sake of preserving in this faith-soaked 21st century – the beliefs and values of Christianity. In this country, when one Pinoy suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When millions of Pinoys suffer from a confusion complicated by a delusion as inspired by corruption, it is called Christianity. Poch Suzara

If Rizal Died as a Penitent Catholic

If Rizal retracted and died not as heretic, but as a penitent catholic, how come he was never given a catholic burial? Rizal wrote: “Some write history to flatter or lower their enemies, others to support religious opinions with facts which they mutilate to suit their convenience.” Poch Suzara

Religion

I hate religion. It is the story of mankind mired in mindless sin and senseless crime and thoughtless violence, war, and death. Religion has also been and still is the story of human misery. Divinity who is the ultimate mystery, is never, in the ultimate analysis, an embraceable entity. And yet religion teaches us to love, worship, and adore such a divinity as a heavenly perplexity inextricably mixed with ecclesiastical complexity for the sake of nothing except to promote nothing but a sick society. Poch Suzara

Medicine

Medicine, and its ability to keep people alive who would otherwise be dead, is an amazing achievement of science.
Sadly, silly religion, to this day, continue to struggle against the growth and development and maturity of science – the real savior of our world.
For my part, I love science. It has exposed the mystery of religion as something of a triviality, a mediocrity, an everlasting mockery chasing after infinity. Poch Suzara

Our Greatest Good

Our greatest good may come from our deepest suffering.
This is sacred hogwash mixed with holy cow dung. What if your suffering comes from religious belief that was imposed upon you since childhood years? And it turns out that the greatest good can only be found after you are dead mindlessly and buried in a Catholic cemetery resting in peace thoughtlessly? Poch Suzara

Hating One Another

Hating one another is common in theology, not in psychology, because in psychology there is the possibility of discovering the harmony of rationality. In theology, however, there is only the complexity of imbecility masquerading as faith in the invisible complexity of a mysterious divinity. Poch Suzara

I am Told

I am told that God created the human brain. But which part of the brain – the mammalian part or the reptilian part? How odd of God to have created the animal part in anything that is already human.

In the meantime, if dogma is what you die for, and faith is what you kill for, then reason is what I live for. Indeed, reason is what makes me think – the difference between what makes me human and no longer an animal. Poch Suzara

My Ancestors

How many ancestors would a person have - assuming no interbreeding, 24 generations in the past? The answer – 16,777,216 ancestors. The real issue for me, however, is not who among my ancestors made it to heaven; or, who among my ancestors ended up punished in hell; but why did God have to create in his own image and likeness all those millions of Catholic ancestors of mine during these past centuries just to finally produce me, a die-hard atheist, in this century? So I am in the minority. So what? I am still an atheist! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Religion as Big Business

The religious morons, the pathetic bobos, the stupid fatheads, and the ecclesiastical wimps are among the kind of victims that make organized religions such a lucrative business in this poor and backward country.

Indeed, Brother Mike Velarde of El Shaddai, Brother Eddie Villaneuva of Jesus is Lord Movement, and Eli Soriano of Dating Daan are very wealthy religious leaders today in our sick society. Imagine these panderers among the few rich and the famous operating the business of selling Jesus only for decades as compared to the wealth, power, and glory of the Catholic church and Iglesia Ni Cristo operating the business of selling Jesus for centuries in this poor and backward country.

In the Philippines, Christianity has never been a religion. It has always been and still is an industry. Overshadowing the minor religious corporations in the Philippines is the major one - the Catholic church - the owner of the richest and most powerful bank in the world today - the Vatican Bank! The Chicken

Why did the chicken cross the road? Perhaps, it was dumbstruck enough not to have grasped the truth that all roads in the end lead to death and decay.
For my part, on either side of my road, I’d rather leave it as a better pathway for others to improve further upon to inspire all those after me on the same road to live the good life – one inspired by love and guided by knowledge. Poch Suzara

Catholic Bishops

No one, but no one, is happy and contented with life on this earth. The rich and poor alike have their measure of troubles, if not their level of problems. Even the Catholic bishops are bored and unhappy while attending to things spiritual. To get some excitement into their religiously empty, if not spiritually, barren lives - they meddle with things sexual, if not menstrual. And this is for no reason at all except to make a nuisance of themselves to bring more excitement into our sick society. Poch Suzara

Philippine Media

The Philippine media could mold public opinion to admire science rather than religion; to love philosophy rather than theology. To know and not just to believe. Indeed, the media could very well promote all that is creative for our society, and so diminish the impulses and desires that center round Filipinos getting more selfish, greedy, stupid, and insane. And yet, Filipino editors and columnists of newspapers and magazines; teachers and professors of schools, colleges and universities; producers and directors of the movie and television industry - all share a common interests together in this country: - they all try their utmost best to keep all of their readers and students and audiences as thoughtless as ever so as not to displease the Catholic Bishops enjoying theological and political control of the Filipino way of life in the Philippines. And to think that these are the same Bishops who are the experts with the Revealed Truth that has yet to be revealed.

In the meantime, thanks to daily mediocrity behind the power of media always in cahoots with government and the church faithfully, we are aimless as a people and rudderless as a nation. Poch Suzara

God in the Bible is Evil

Religious morons who claim to read and worship the words of the bible tend to be so ignorant about just what the bible says. Many of them have no idea whatsoever that god is quoted many times in the bible admitting that he is in fact evil. Please read on:

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Exodus 32:14 And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

Joshua 23:15 Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things.

Judges 9:23 Then God sent an evil spirit

1 Samuel 16:14 But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.

2 Samuel 12:11 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house

1 Kings 9:9 ...therefore hath the LORD brought upon them all this evil.

1 Kings 14:10 Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam.

2 Kings 6:33 ...Behold, this evil is of the LORD;

2 Kings 21:12 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.

2 Kings 22:16 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place

Nehemiah 13:18 Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city?

Jeremiah 4:6 Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.

Jeremiah 6:19 Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people

Jeremiah 11:11 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them

Jeremiah 25:29 For, lo, I begin to bring evil

Jeremiah 35:17 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them:

Jeremiah 44:2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah

Jeremiah 45:5 ...behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD

Jeremiah 49:37 ...I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them

Micah 1:12 .... evil came down from the LORD

Micah 2:3 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil

What's the Sexual Difference...

What's the sexual difference between the words: mating, procreating, copulating, impregnating, propagating, fecundating, and fucking? In order to penetrate a woman’s vagina, the man must have an erection. In order to have an erection, however, all the blood in man’s brain must travel down to his sex organ. Thus, a hard-on is blood somewhat solidified. The same thing goes with the woman sexually excited. All the blood in her brain goes down into her sexual organ. So in reality, we are completely brainless when we follow God's command to multiply and replenish the earth. Now consider seriously the physical position that a man and woman must assume in order to have children! It has got to be one of the most ridiculous position figured out by the would-be mothers and would-be fathers of this world. The Pro-lifers are proud to teach God’s commands, especially the 4th, - Honor thy mother and father - even to children struggling to survive under subhuman conditions in the streets of our major cities. As if strength of character, or a high I.Q. is a necessity to get a woman pregnant to be a mother. Honor is not something given or shown. It must be earned. In the meantime, life, indeed, is but a sexually transmitted disease with a mortality rate of 100 per cent. For my part, as an atheist, instead of looking forward to a better life to come after I am dead, I would rather try and leave this world a better place than I found it. Or there would be very little reason for my having lived. Poch Suzara

My Filipino Friend on the Greatness of Dr. Jose Rizal

I give space here for my great Filipino friend - Gil C. Fernandez - on his views about our Jose Rizal. I said it before, I say it again: If only our schools, colleges, and universities taught less about Jesus Christ by teaching more about our Jose Rizal - the Filipinos today would be one of the healthiest people and the Philippines one of the wealthiest of countries in all of Asia today. Poch Suzara The Catholic Church is the greatest beneficiary of Spain colonization of the Philippines. It has gained unimaginable wealth and power, amidst poverty, overpopulation, suffering and misery of the Filipino people. It has introduced the concept of heaven, hell and purgatory to obtain obedience from the people. Confession, to control the community, a classic example was the discovery of the Katipunan, which was leaked out through the confessional. It has spread alleged miracles to fool the people. It exploited the people as proved by the possession of the best lands in many parts of the country; the biggest tract of lands in central Luzon belongs to the Dominicans. The most expensive schools and hospitals belong to this church, and the biggest depositor in the Bank of the Philippine Island is the Archbishop of Manila. And this church, the richest church in the world, has not been paying taxes to a country which is considered one of the poorest countries in the world,-- which is the Philippines. Even after more than a century after the catholic religion was declared not the official religion of the country and the introduction separation of Church and State in the Philippine, the Filipino people still suffer from religious fanaticism. There is still a very important need for the Filipino people to learn even more the life, works and writings of Jose Rizal. As I said before, let the words of Rizal serve as a boost in our morale, not to allow the continuation of this ruthless tyranny, hypocrisy, and the taking advantage of our poor people by this powerful Catholic Church. Let Rizal be the inspiration of our youth, a role model in the struggle for a good life, and to emulate the virtues of this great man, -Dr. Jose Rizal. Written by Gil C. Fernandez, August 2008 Springfield, Illinois Facebook# Twitter# Google#

War

War is always big business for the munition makers. They naturally do everything possible to market the idea of war such as war is the only way to settle international disputes. More often than not, the munition industry will even concoct such disputes by declaring it to be the war for freedom and democracy, or for God. In fact, war is mostly about men killing other men so that the munition makers will earn big profits. Poch Suzara

Indecision

When you do not or cannot make a decision, indecision takes over. When you refuse to think for yourself someone else will think for you. At most time, it is usually referred to as having “faith in God’s Will.” In the meantime, there is no such as thing the right decision or the wrong decision. There is only evil of indecision. We must face the fact that life is a series of decisions. We must learn to never be afraid to make decisions. Poch Suzara

Loneliness

Loneliness has always been an emotionally painful experience. Today, however, paradoxically enough, loneliness is a shared way of life. Even within the family members. In loneliness, they pray together to stay together. Too bad prayers don’t work. More families are derailed in this century than it was during the last century. Poch Suzara

Progress

If Progress only means the accumulation of money, then it becomes a mockery against human decency. In fact, progress should be like a flowering tree with many branches extending to the future. As a product of the power of the intellect, progress is not revolution. It is evolution. Progress should mean a better tomorrow than it was a better yesterday.
Take, for example, progress in education: more and flexible learning should occur outside, rather than inside, crowded school rooms. Poch Suzara

Jonah

“I cried out to the Lord because of my affliction, and He answers me.” Jonah 2:2

It is incredible how the religious bobos would readily believe what Jonah wrote in the bible. If this were true, however, how come millions upon millions of Filipinos who cried out to the same Lord because of their affliction, no Lord answers them? Instead, they ended up dead and buried. Their remains are found in the cemeteries throughout the Philippines. Poch Suzara

American Politics

Whether we are Democrats or Republicans, despite our differences, we all belong in the same sinking American economic boat. All of us, while jockeying for power within it, are all basically committed to preserving the dying “Military-Industrial-Oil-University complex” of the USA.

There is hope, however, in the new presidential candidate of Barack Obama. There is a great chance he could bring real change in America. For one thing, he will transform the White House into a more prestigious Black House.

It is time for us Americans to enjoy real freedom; not the freedom of lies; but the freedom from lies. Especially the freedom from government lies. Poch Suzara

Divine Boredom

Here’s an example of divine boredom as written in the bible: “I form the light and create darkness: I make peace and create evil: I the Lord do these things.” Is. 45:7. Indeed, evil is mostly derived from boredom, especially from divine boredom.
Boringly, bible readers excitingly call it: divine wisdom. Poch Suzara

Organized Religions

Historically, no doubt, organized religions have flourished. But what flourished alongside with organized religions, however, has been the fear of thought, hypocrisy, dishonesty, criminality all rolled into one bundle called “social insanity.”

In the meantime, most men are proud of the religion taught to them during childhood years. It has given conscience that is good; unfortunately, good for nothing. They cry like little boys for peace. As if there is such a thing as peace. They ignore the words of their own Jesus who admitted: “Think not that I have come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” Matt. 10:34. Poch Suzara

Bread Crumbs

According to the bible, man does not live by bread alone. Is this the reason why Christian charity never distribute loaves of bread to, but would even remove bread crumbs away from, - the Filipino people in this spiritually poor and morally backward country? In the meantime, when Filipinos accept poverty and insanity as the normal Filipino way of life it can only mean malevolence on the one side; and, on the other, - decadence. Poch Suzara

Jose Rizal

Jose Rizal was a man of science. He was not a man of religion. He was publicly executed by religious morons precisely because he exposed the nature of religion in this country as nothing but harmful superstition. Poch Suzara

College Educated

It is precisely those who are selfish, greedy, stupid, and insane – in brief – college educated men and women who make me happy to be a high-school dropout, and who make me proud to be an atheist.

Take a good look at the men and women running our corrupt and rotten government. All of them are college educated. All them believe that God is great, especially in the national business of forgiving the sin of degradation and the crime of corruption! Poch Suzara

Book Learning

Learning by reading books is utterly worthless unless it is used and verified with variegated experiences in life. Only then can it begin to affect our power to think. It is the love of life that educates. Outside academic wall, books have been and still are the only kind of teachers and professors that I could love and respect. All my teachers in school were frightened of divinity, if not terrorized by deviltry. Thus, they only taught me how to have faith in mediocrity, and how to love and respect religious mendacity that's always in cahoots with hypocrisy. Poch Suzara

Morality

Our moral values are based more upon garbage than it should be upon real human values. Morality should solely be about alleviating human suffering, and eliminating human poverty, and indeed, about establishing a healthy and a sane society where we love, not hate, one another for our country’s sake.

Morality is silly if its purpose is to please a mysterious divinity. In brief, morality is a necessity for the good of society established with scientific veracity, not with silly religious mendacity. Poch Suzara

Misology and Theology

Misology – the hatred of reason – is a great evil. Misology is no different from theology – another great evil. Theology hates reason especially as reason promotes the beauty and the power of thought. Poch Suzara

Frank Sinatra

Most people have only thought of Frank Sinatra as just a great and a famous singer. Only the esoteric few knew that he was fearless thinker too. Listen to the words not of someone who kneels, who didn’t have to take the blows, but nevertheless did it his way:

"There are things about organized religion which I resent. Christ is revered as the Prince of Peace, but more blood has been shed in His name than any other figure in history. You show me one step forward in the name of religion and I'll show you a hundred retrogressions. Remember, they were men of God who destroyed the educational treasures at Alexandria, who perpetrated the Inquisition in Spain, who burned the witches at Salem. Over 25,000 organized religions flourish on this planet, but the followers of each think all the others are miserably misguided and probably evil as well." Frank Sinatra, Playboy Magazine, Feb. 1962

If only the other famous singers of our world possessed the intellectual calibre of a Frank Sinatra – ours, indeed, would be a healthy and a peaceful world.

“Frank, wherever you are, I love you. Thank you for having been in our world a great example of a melodious and harmonious grace for the human race.” Poch Suzara

Jose Rizal

Rizal stood by himself alone in his struggles against religious stupidity in our country. A group of religious morons, however, the Spanish friars, got Rizal arrested and jailed to face death by firing squad.

With Rizal dead and gone - out of way, the Spanish friars could then insure that religious stupidity could remain as one of the greatest of blessings from divinity perpetually enjoyed in this only Christian country.

Indeed, take a deep look at us Filipinos in the Philippines in this 21st century. Look how we enjoy with blind faith our love for God up there by hating one another down here! Poch Suzara

Ninoy Aquino

He said: “The Filipino is worth dying for.” Do any of you really believe that Ninoy Aquino now in heaven with God is so proud and eternally happy of the fact that the Filipino proved him right? The Filipino killed him.

In the meantime, I am told my own own friends and relatives and other associates that I should not refer to ourselves as a nation of religious morons. Poch Suzara

The Power of Universal Stupidity

In God’s kingdom is the power of love. In the devil’s kingdom is the power of hate. In man’s kingdom is the power of fear. Combine inextricably the three kingdoms and they all add up to the kingdom of universal stupidity.

To think that for thousands of years science had to painfully struggle against religion for its right to be born, to grow, and to develop and mature. And to think further that in this 21st century, the religious victims here and there are using radio, television, internet, and the mobile phone – all miraculous products of science - to preach the Word of God to fellow religious victims everywhere. Life After Death

To pretend that we will happy or unhappy after the death of the body is to pretend that we will be able to see without eyes, to hear without ears, to taste with a palate, to smell with a nose, and to feel without hands and without skin, and especially to think without a brain.

There is obviously no such thing as life in the hereafter. To begin with, it is not possible since there is no such thing as life in the herebefore. Poch Suzara

World Peace

Fucking around with religion is much more fun than fucking around with women. There are no deadly consequences in fucking around with religion. There are no unwanted or unloved babies born only to survive miserably under subhuman conditions.

World peace can only be the basic product of children born loved, wanted, and needed under health and sanitation that insures peace on earth and goodwill to all men, women, and children. Poch Suzara

Synagogue of Satan

When I was a little boy in school I was frightened to believed in the existence of the synagogue of Satan. Rev. 2:9. I imagined then how sane our world could be if we were all taught to fear not the synagogue of Satanism, but to love instead the synagogue of humanism! Poch Suzara

Million Deaths

Millions of people are killed each and every year in God’s name, or Allah’s name, or Yahweh’s name. Now my friends and associates are shocked because I consider such sacred horrors as another word for “love of God” syndrome. Poch Suzara

Bible Untruths

It does not matter if there were truths and falsehoods written in the bible? The important issue is who is to determine which among the inspired authors of God dealt with falsehoods while writing biblical nonsense in the bible?

In the meantime, if God were all that almighty, why would he need to inspire bible characters to preach the gospel to all nations? well, if God were all that powerful, how come only the Philippines got to be the victim, not the master, of Christianity in all of Asia? Poch Suzara

Galileo

In 1983 the Vatican indeed apologized to Galileo for being right and the church wrong in that 17th century dispute. Indeed, the earth goes around the sun, and not the sun going round the earth. But if Galileo was right why should the bible readers still have faith in the bible incredibility as worthy of reliability or veracity? Poch Suzara

I thank

I thank the inventors, the discoverers, the scientists, the explorers, the philosophers and freethinkers of this world.

As for the bible writers – they can all fly a kite. So what if Jonah was swallowed by a whale? Where in the bible does it admit that the whale was inspired by God to swallow Jonah? Poch Suzara

Hinduism

I have every respect for Hinduism. She has no dogma, no pigma, and no hogma. Indeed, no creeds or doctrines. Hence no spirit of missionary imperialism in cahoots with capitalism especially the kind more known throughout the world as Americanism.
Moreover, I love Hinduism because she taught me to believe that even as I am an atheist, there is always the god in me. Wow, such honor! Poch Suzara

Various Gods

The Chinese have their own God. The Indians have their own God. The Japanese have their own God. The Jews have their own God. The Arabs have their own God, etc. Except the Pinoys. We have yet to have our own God. We have been conquered and colonized, however, to believe in the God of the bible – a book written during ancient times by the superstitious morons of other foreign places. Poch Suzara

Christianity

Christianity has always persecuted the living and God has always burned her dead.
Christianity may be described as the spread of sacred timidity as inspired by a divinity always in cahoots with deviltry for the sake of social insanity, not to mention political stupidity in the Philippines, eternally. Poch Suzara

Rizal

We love Rizal; but we love even more the religious morons who had Rizal arrested, jailed, and executed more than a hundred years ago. Hell, we even allowed the Rizal killers to take ownership of our schools, colleges, and universities. Especially to teach the Filipino youth to believe that Rizal died a repented Catholic as he retracted hours before the power of theocracy condemned him to death. That’s how sick we Filipinos are as the Sick Man of Asia in this 21st century. Poch Suzara

Worthless Evidence

You may have all the evidences to prove the case against the evils of religion. Such evidences, however, are utterly worthless to a blind man blinded by blind faith. Indeed, what can one expect of a blind man going inside a dark room looking for a black cat that is not there, but found it. Poch Suzara

The Pope

The pope asks the religions of this world to fight terrorism. Indeed, let us fight religion – the worst kind of terrorism. What could be more terrorizing than to twist and distort the minds and hearts of children in school to believe that there is a better world to come after death; and that while we are on this earth to believe also that God does provide because He has a never-ending love and grace for the human race. Poch Suzara

Spiritual Hunger

To satisfy my spiritual hunger, never, would I ever again swallow junk theology known as “the bread of life” taken from biblical baloney. I would rather question everything. It is the very foundation of both spiritual health and mental wealth.

In the meantime, the idea that a heavenly Father required the earthly death of His son Jesus as a ransom paid for our sins is nothing but theological junk. How could any one believe in a God guilty of the crime of child abuse? Jesus was not child? Well, what could be more childish than a child crucified and crying on the cross: “My dad, My dad, why hast thou forsaken me?” Poch Suzara

Life on Earth

Life on earth may be expensive but it does include a free trip around the sun annually. Poch Suzara

Born Ignorant

We are all born ignorant, not stupid. We are made stupid by religion which is what, for the most part, our schools, colleges, and universities has been all about. Poch Suzara

Holy Baloney

The Christians, Muslims, and the Jews have not ceased hate and war against each other. And yet the holy baloney that it is, just because we atheists condemn their mutual historical never-ending carnage, the Christians and the Muslims and the Jews have not also ceased to declare that there are no atheists in foxholes.

In the meantime, the religious morons of this world all share a sad similarity together: They are not allowed to see the difference between the power of stagnation and the power of confusion. They are allowed, however, to have faith not in reconstruction, but in mutual obliteration for the sake of eternal salvation. Poch Suzara

Repentant Sinners

If God, at any time, could easily and readily forgive repentant sinners, then Christ totally wasted his energy dying on the cross for the sins of the world.

In the meantime, I ask: what exactly have we Filipinos got anything to do with the death of a Jewish Son of God on the cross in a Jewish land as written by Jewish authors of God some 2,000 years ago? Poch Suzara

God’s Kingdom

“My kingdom is not of this world. John 18:26. Well, if this were the case, why would God bother with our world to begin with? Isn't it already too much that we have to bother with deviltry, must we also bother with divinity? Leave us alone! Poch Suzara

Wanted

Dead or alive. Anyone who can make me feel ashamed that I am an atheist. The Christians, Muslims, and Jews in this 21st century still hating and killing each other in God’s name all make me proud that I am an atheist. To think that as an atheist, there is no room for me in a foxhole. It is already standing room situation only. Pretty much occupied by Jews, Muslims, and Christians at war against each other since God knows when. Poch Suzara

Biblical Stupidity

My Strength is made perfect in weakness. 2 Cor. 12:9
Corinthian must have been steep in stupidity. There is no such thing as strength. There is no such thing weakness. There is only the perfection of stupidity especially as it is at home with eternity.

In the meantime, a divinity who already has the power, the kingdom, and the glory should have no need of a stupid bible to spread his word anywhere? To think bible believers continue to be impressed with such religious strength or, as the case may be, - religious weakness. I'd rather be impressed with religious sanity, if in fact, there is such a thing. Poch Suzara

Biblical Diet

“And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. Rev. 10:10. Such is God’s sacred word as a biblical diet. Poch Suzara

Psuedo-atheists

Our schools, colleges, and universities continue to twist the minds and distort the hearts of students with stupid religion. The religious morons, however, are still insisting that we must take it easy and be rational in treating such ancient barbarism.

In the meantime, I ask: how exactly could we grow as a people and develop as a nation when we our motto, under Christianity since the 16th century, has been “Take no thought for the morrow,” not to mention “Resist not evil?” Poch Suzara

Courage Versus Cowardice

Courage has more to do with facing reality as we know something about it. Cowardice is about being afraid of fantasy as we know nothing about it. Poch Suzara

God Bless

Every minute, hour, day, week, month, and indeed, every year during the past 400 years – the words “God Bless” have been said by every one here, there, and everywhere in this only Christian country in Asia.

The result thus far, among other horrors, is the need to know just exactly how blessed we are as a spiritually poor people, and just how blessed we are morally bankrupt nation. Poch Suzara

An Idea

An idea is a greater monument than a cathedral. A cathedral is nothing more than a monument to human stupidity. Look how our mindless politicians in government still visit a cathedral to thank God for his blessings. They are among the wealthiest men and women as public servants of our poor and backward Republic. Poch Suzara

Sales Ability

Your sales ability for the sake of productivity is mostly depended on how you sell first your personality. It is the only way to establish a business relationship based upon credibility, reliability, and indeed, efficiency. Poch Suzara

Free Will

Where in hell was our free will to choose not to be created at all? Especially on this speck of dust called “earth” floating aimlessly in space?

Millions of years before birth, we were non-existing. Millions of years after death, we will again be non-existing. What’s the big fuss all about being gifted with free will by a creator when we have had no say in the matter if we should wish to exist or not? Or, since we are already here existing, even whether we should have the free will as to when we should like to continue existing or not? Free will sucks! Poch Suzara

We Are Not Religious

We are not religious. We are superstitious. We carry false beliefs on our backs. We are crippled by its weight. Under this delusion inextricably mixed with ecclesiastical confusion, we seek individual obliteration, not national reconstruction. Poch Suzara

Wisdom

The religious morons of this world continue to believe that wisdom can only come from the religious answers supplied to them by other religious morons. On the contrary, wisdom can only be the result of, if not by, the intelligent habit of questioning everything.

Take, for example, the claim of Jesus teachings considered as the paragon of wisdom. It is baseless. It is worthless. To begin with, Jesus himself never intelligently questioned the legitimacy of the own birth; especially as His father never legally married his Mother. So what if the Virgin Mary was also taught to take no thought for the morrow as God will provide? What has that got to do with love of mothers and respect for fathers of this world? Poch Suzara

As an Atheist

I am most proud that there are no atheists in foxholes. After all, such foxholes are already filled with Christian and Muslims and Jews killing each other in God’s name.

I am even more proud that there are no atheists installed in our corrupt government. Indeed, all of our corrupt government officials are theists. They all love, worship, and adore God who is always ready and willing to forgive them of their sins and crimes. Poch Suzara

British Convicts

A bunch of British convicts started out Australia some 200 years ago. Somehow, these convicts had faith in the human capacity. They were given a chance at reconstruction, rather than obliteration. Australia today is one of the most advanced countries in the world. She enjoys so much respect and dignity globally.

The Philippines, on the other hand, was started out by a bunch of Spanish Catholic Friars some 500 years ago. These friars loved only divinity. They hated the human capacity. They couldn’t care less about humanity or social sanity. What was most important to them was the spread of Christianity. The Philippines today is one of the most backward, if not the poorest countries in the world. It is the only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century.

Indeed, thanks to the Spanish Catholic friars the holy bible was introduced to Filipinos. Today we Filipinos are still deeply inspired with what the bible teaches: love not the world, neither the things in the world. John 2:15

I have already visited many countries in the Far East and in southeast Asia. I also worked and lived in America for some 17 years. But I have yet to visit Australia – I hope to do so before I leave this world. Poch Suzara

Life After Death

If it turns out that there is life after death and I have yet to do something with a God in hell or with a devil in heaven, I say: no way either way. I would rather kill myself.
If it turns out, however, that I could continue reading more books in life after death, oh yes, yes, yes! I look forward in the next life to building my personal library. I hope to enjoy eternal reading and eternal learning. That’s the only kind of eternal salvation I would be interested in. Oh yes, I would rather be happy with a saved mind. To hell with my saved silly soul. In the meantime, I find it so silly to believe that a God in hell can only be pleased with me for as long as he sees me as religious in being selfish, greedy, stupid, and insane on this earth especially for the glory of the devil in heaven. I cannot imagine myself enjoying peace and happiness in the so-called eternal life with God together with his Catholic saints, not to mention with all of my stupid La Salle teachers. No way Jose. Like I said, I'd rather kill myself. Poch Suzara
