Cathedrals, like the Manila Cathedral, are monuments to human stupidity. Name me one cathedral anywhere built on this piece of dust called "earth" that has promoted family unity, social and political decency, not to mention women's rights for self-respect and dignity.
In the meantime, if it is true that God already exists here and there and everywhere - why in hell would God need cathedrals for his glory in heaven to enhance not human civilization on this earth, but to promote himself as a supernatural being so engrossed in self-admiration as he hopes to prove that he is, eternally, a cold-blooded perfection?
