The Revolution in Evolution

If we were taught in our schools, colleges,
and universities that the earth is not some 6,000
years old but some 4.5 to 4.6 billion years old,
none of us would find the fact of evolution,
as something too horrible to contemplate.

Due to our ignorance for the sake of our faith,
we look at the fact of evolution as something
not natural, but something unnatural; especially
as it says that we humans have evolved from the
apes.

Here’s Carl Sagan, a great scientist, an expert
in the subject of evolution. He presents with much
scientific evidence that: “Two billion years ago our
ancestors were microbes; a half-billion years ago,
fish; a hundred million years ago, something like
mice; ten million years ago, arboreal apes; and a
million years ago, proto-humans puzzling out the
taming of fire. Our evolutionary lineage is marked
by the mastery of change. In our time, the pace is
quickening.” Poch Suzara
