Understand our World

When the real world is not sufficiently flattering we all tend to take refuge in a world of make believe, where all our desires are gratified without great effort. This is the essence of fear, especially the fear of thought. It is also the source of the great religions and myths that have done more harm than good in this world.

For my part, I would rather understand the world and, if I can, change it. After all, understanding the world and the desire to change it are the two great engines of progress, without which, human society, especially our society, will remain as sick as ever; especially for God's glory in heaven.
