Holy Books of the Great Religions of the World

Letter to the Editors,
Dear Editors,
All the great religions of the world have their holy books, which are regarded as "divinely inspired. The Jews have their Talmud; the Muslims, their Koran; the Buddhists, their Sutras; the Confucians, their Analects; the Taoists; their Tao-Te-Ching; the Hindus, their Bhagavad Gita; the Vedantis, their Upanishads; etc.
I ask: why should one group of religious faithfools be regarded as "inspired" authors or prophets or Messiahs of God? While those active at hallucinating are known as the "crack-pots," "faith-healers," or, in the Philippines, more known as "the chief Justice of the Supreme Court" or "senators," "congressmen," "governors," and "mayors?" Also known as
"Bishops," "Cardinals," "Ministers," "Evangelists," not to mention in our schools, colleges, and universities known as "Teachers," and "Professors."
In the meantime, our own silly bible teaches us to: "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world the love of the Father is not in him." 1 John 2:15
Yours sincerely,
Poch Suzara
