The Philippines is NOT a Democracy. It is a Theocracy. It has been and still is since the 16th century - a Church for the Catholics, by the Catholics, and for the Catholics. There is no monument that stands for Filipino dignity and social sanity with great national pride anywhere in the Philippines except the MANILA CATHEDRAL- the monument to priestly historical stupidity.
